Wanted to surprise our daughter with a Apple Watch for her bday. As soon as we walked in the store the greeter helped us get a representative to help us.Larry came over so quickly, very professional, kind and attentive. It did not seem like we were just a sale and move on to the next customer for him but he cared for our business. He took his time explaining the watches and the different bands for it. He made sure we were all set up with the watch charged and connected to our phone before we left and had all of our questions answered. Our daughter left the store wearing her watch and very happy with her birthday gift.I highly recommend Larry to anyone in need of an apple product. We will certainly be back and will ask for his help.
Had a repair appointment today at 12:20. I read the reviews thinking I was going to be here for a long time waiting and having bad customer services but today was the complete opposite. Everyone was so nice and fast. I came in for a iPhone XR rear camera repair and when I came back after being told it would take an hour I got my phone looking brand new and with a fixed rear camera. I thought it was going to be expensive compared to the off brand tech repair company (which said they can fix it but my face recognition wouldn’t work if it was not fixed by apple) but it was actually a lot cheaper. The total of the repair was $75+tax= ~$85. I was so happy and I needed it done quickly since I’m leaving for vacation in a couple days. These are the before and after pictures.
Won’t be coming back here or any apple store if they are all mask nazis like this one. Wore a mask then they tried to tellMe how to wear a mask. Maybe will come back when they get their senses back
I don’t know his name, but the black guy who helped my family is the BEST. Thank you so much!! He is knowledgeable and eager to help. God bless you and you deserve so much better than working there. I’d give you all the stars. For the others in this store who just tried to take advantage of older people and lied to them - SHAME ON YOU!
A guy stopped me from entering and demanded I wear a mask to look around. I explained I have a medical exemption and he said ok, leave. This is unacceptable segregation and has to stop.
Um, it was clean. To start off: I usually like doing happy reviews and mostly commenting on how well the associates treat customers, however, the service was not great. Our person did not know how an Android phone operates, and therefore, seemed unwilling to take a credit card number off an Android phone that has an Apple credit card on it. My fiance has about 4 phones, both Android and iPhone, and uses them all. He logs in on all his phones, thus having the same credit card numbers on all phones. I was wanting to get an iPhone, it was going to be put on his card. The guy didnt know/want to take the number off the Android card to make a sale, so he didnt and we ordered it online anyway. It will be here tomorrow and I hope I wont step foot in that store again.
This is more about the inability to fix my new, still under warranty, M1 Mac Air. They have had to send it away twice, about a week each time. The people are nice, but the Apple customer experience is a 0.
Have never had a positive experience in this store. Ten years patronage with the purchase of 7 devices. The staff is consistently apathetic, eager to get away from customer service in order to hang out with other store employees at the back of the store.
Mike, tried several different ways to get my iPad up and running. But no go, Ill be getting a replacement. Make an appointment. You may still wait but not as long. Five stars when replacement arrives.
I had iPad issues and technically challenged.Laura was great and got my issue taken care of.Outstanding customer service. Couldn’t be happier. I will be back
Ive visited dozens of apple store across the US/Globally and they are all well-run stores for the most part. The location here in Southpoint is unlike any other Ive been to.Rude staff who are actively unhelpful. It is legitimately an uphill battle to try to spend money here.Today I waited 10 min for staff to finish their conversations with one another so I could buy two iPads and accessories. Weird to see a dozen staff standing around refusing customers. When I finished, the staff member shoved my five items in a small bag... I asked for another bag but was refused and told I already received my bag while she pointed at the one I was holding.... What, guests are allocated one paper bag now? Bizarre.
This was my most successful Apple trip! Larry helped me my mom and my sister! He was so helpful and answers all my questions! He went above and beyond! This is a great environment and great staff! We love you Larry❤️
Good service. Thanks again.
Great Apple store in the area. We’ve always received great service from Apple, and this store is no different. They are located on an outside corridor of the mall, so you don’t have to go through a mall to get there. With COVID, this is important. This pic was from a release day for the iPhone 12 Pro Max and you can see how the flow was kept efficient and safe.
The genius bar is awful. I brought them my phone that was stuck in a boot loop and was told there was absolutely nothing that could be done to recover the data- I could try a factory reset and try to save the phone but the data was gone. I told them I cared more about the data than the phone so I was going to take it elsewhere- they demeaningly told me that was fine but nobody else would be able to do anything and I was wasting my time. Well, I sent it to a data recovery specialist who was able to recover everything. Not sure if they are just unskilled or lazy but I will never trust them with repair on my devices again.
The folks at South point are always so friendly. I have been a few times and always had had great customer service and they were able to help me with all my needs.
Went to the Apple store at Southpoint for some Laptop help. Was helped by Mike, a very nice and knowledgeable young man, who took care of my problem and I didnt have to buy a new Laptop!
For once I had a decent apple store experience. Quick turnaround and nice people working there.
My wife made an appointment online for a Genius Bar visit at Southpoint Apple Store. Booked it online and was sent a calendar invite during the process to reminder her of the time. She arrived at the calendar booked time only to be told she got it wrong Apple genius told her it it was an hour earlier, wouldnt accommodate her. It was all her fault the genius said, and sent her on her way declaring it was a mistake she made.I just went through the same process of booking online an appointment multiple days out at the Southpoint Store on the Apple site for 5:25PM, and it sent me a calendar invite/reminder for 6:25PM an hour later than the time I selected. This is broken, documented and maybe a scheme to not deal with people who take advantage of the online booking. Both my computer, and my wifes phone to where these invites are being sent are set to the correct timezone.
I went to the Apple store in Durham. I had already researched and knew what phone I wanted to buy. They were not very busy - nothing like I’ve seen before. There were maybe 10-12 customers and most were waiting for tech support. I didn’t see anyone purchasing at that moment. I went to two coworkers who were standing talking to each another and asked if they could help me and that I wanted to buy a phone. The one asked how did I intend to buy it. I didn’t understand that question but he was asking if I intended to make installments. I said no although I didn’t really understand why that mattered. He asked if I had a reservation and I did not. Again, not sure why that mattered since they weren’t busy right then and were just talking to each other. He said they didn’t have any reservations available that day but he would check when the next available was. I said -you mean I can’t just buy a phone- and he said no. On the apple website it says specifically you can just walk in to purchase. It makes no sense to pay two people to talk to each other and turn interested customers away. In the time that he took asking me questions he could’ve just asked which phone I wanted and rang up the phone. Is apple getting crazy or just hiring incompetent sales people?
Worst location and worst company ever. They lost our kids phone that had someone come out specifically to tell us to stop asking where our phone was that was supposed to be ready hours earlierOh and dont bother calling the location because they dont let you talk to anyone, thats why they can do whatever they want because theres no way to complain about them
Not quite really sure why this store exists but one thing I do know is that it was a a waste of my time to go here and Ill never be back. There are at least 6-7 associates standing around doing absolutely nothing yet I was not allowed to buy anything because I didnt have an appointment. Checking the Apple website tells me theres not a need nor is there a way to make an appointment if youre going to purchase something. But after being directed to stand in line by the greeter then waiting in line for 20 mins to be told to come back 4 hours later was enough for me. I promptly left and went to Best Buy where I actually had to fend off the mob of nice, helpful associates trying to lend a hand.
The recent poster, Shari, had a very similar experience to the one my wife and I recently experienced two weeks ago at this store. My wife was interested in purchasing a new Mac and the apple website clearly stated that walkins were welcome again. After going into the store, we were not greeted and finally had to chase someone down to get them to assist us. After barely answering our first question, this young kid abruptly walked off. We went to look for a manager and was only told, Do you have a reservation. Clearly the manager was not educated on the policy according to the apple website and after stating this, he still insisted a reservation needed to be made.It is disturbing that Apple is driving away customers from its stores and has no interest in customer service. While I appreciate their innovative products, the lack of attention to customer focus and basic helpfulness has sent us to other retailers. We did however, have a positive experience at the Best Buy store across the street. They were very helpful and knowledgeable and I would recommend all current and future Apple customers visit them instead.
I was in the store right before closing store time (6 pm) on Sunday to get a iphone case but they said they are closing 6 and can’t make any more transactions. It was very disappointing, it wouldn’t even have taken like 2 mins to buy a case but those folks were rude sent me back home. I drove 35 mins to get there to get a case 😞
Tried returning my mac mini after purchasing. The online store reps said that it was still fine to return but they wouldn’t budge. Every time I go here I have a bad experience, whereas the crab tree store is more customer focused.
Over the years I have tried this store for my various iPhones and an older model MacBook Pro; I have found the customer service to be sketchy at best. My MacBook Pro had a disk drive that was stuck and would only eject sporadically. I made a Genius appointment and it was take to the back; and when it was returned to me, IT WOULD NOT EJECT AT ALL and while I still use the laptop, the disk drive is permanently stuck. Also, some of the associates in this store give off an air like they are geniuses or superior when their skills are not that great. Therefore, I go a longer distance to the Crabtree store, in Raleigh, NC, rather than deal with this Southpoint store in Durham, NC.In contrast, the Crabtree store associates seem more polite, knowledgeable, professional and not so rushed for time. I took excellent training classes there. I also had an awesome experience when helped with the transfer of my sizable music library from a Windows PC to my MacBook Pro.
Im an Android guy so not super sympathetic to the Apple world. Having said that I showed up a day early without a reservation to pick up my daughters new computer and they had it out there ready in like 5 minutes. Fast and helpful Even though the place was packed.
Took me three visits to repair my phone screen.Booked an appointment and headed to the store to be superised that the part is not in stock. After two days they called me, went to the store but they said they have too many repairs today and they can not fix the phone in the same day.Compared to the past, their customer service is in decline. They do not give you all the facts first hand, it becomes a time waste. In addition to all this, the tone of the reps and attitude is not customer friendly and quite stuck up. So much for customer service of a $1000 phone!
Apple continues to lose its luster as a brand. The product quality continues to notch downward and this location follows suit. Sure, it has a nice new glass facade but what you have is image, not experience. Staff has become incredibly prickly, service is not ever a fragment of what it had been in the past, and you are treated as more of an inconvenience than the reason for the work. On top of this, you are regulated to online systems that don’t work. The Apple My Support is not updating and providing information and getting a human to help is just about impossible. Right now, I’m left with no idea of where my laptop is or if I will ever see it again. After many years of buying Apple product here, it may be time to head inside the mall and explore the Microsoft Surface store.
Bought an apple product here recently. The description was not detailed, the attendant too wasnt elaborate enough about the product. I got home only to find out some accessories are not included in the package. Still unable to use the iPod that came with the MacBook I pruchased.
The new store location is really nice - lots of natural light and very open floorplan. Customer service was definitely a five star experience.
Service often takes longer to fix the issue than it does for me to figure it out myself. Furthermore, Apples solutions always seem to be pay us more money or buy another one of our products rather than actually fixing the issue.
Nice looking store. Convenient location.
This store really only deserves 2 1/2 stars. At most. The Good - brought a MacBook in for repairs and it was done within hours. The Bad - Asked for some information on an older MacBook. I supplied the serial number and was told the rep would find out but he never returned with the information. The Ugly - So I was told via voice mail I could just come in and pick up the repaired MacBook but, honestly, the appointment process I went through to bring it in was so convoluted I was suspicious of just showing up. So I called the number they left in the vmail and it rang 2 or 3 dozen times before it auto-hung up. At 11:30 on a Tuesday. They cant be that busy! The day before I was there at 12:30 and they had two dozen (at least!) customer service reps to assist people. A third of them were unoccupied. Someone cant answer the phone?Im just grateful I dont have to go there often for support.
I really recommend this place. You can see all the options you have before buying.
The employees are always very friendly and helpful when I visit!
Very good experience and helpful apple folks...
I’m desperately trying to buy a watch from Apple Southpoint. Friday August 20, I arrived at the store at 6:10 PM and closing time was 8 pm. However, when I arrived we were stopped at the door and told the closing early (6 PM). I went back to the Apple store today Tuesday, August 24 and I arrived at the store at 7:15 PM and was told I was too close to closing Time to do a trade on my watch and purchase another watch so then call customer service and their recommendation was just come back tomorrow.I don’t think three trips to an Apple store should be necessary to buy a product. If your rules are so strict, you should advise the customers that there’s a special set of circumstances they have to go through to buy your product. After I left the store this evening I made two follow-up phone calls. First to Apple support, their only recommendation was to go back tomorrow or send a review on the website. Next I called the store and received about the same advice/“help” which was little to none. It seems Apple is so profitable they can afford to shove customers out the door rather than facilitate them making a purchase
Tried for weeks to talk by phone with ZERO success. Finally went in person. The “Roving robot” was not interested in listening to my complaint about my new IPAD-AIR so made an appointment. Had to cancel it online, however. Tried to make another appointment ONLINE or by PHONE no luck. Called APPLE SUPPORT . Even he could not make me an appointment. Said Southpoint Mall were not letting him make one. This place is staffed by a cadre of nice people with ZERO experience in customer service. Their only interest is in wearing masks and getting you out of the store ASAP>
Great place you need to check them out.
They were very professional and helpful.
Came early for my appt and they turned me away. Went to get food and rushed back without being able to bring my food so I wasnt late (my fault) Im here right on time but told to wait but Im checked in. Thats really annoying. Waiter ran across the street and actually brought me my food.. restaurant has better service than Apple
Please teach the staff members that violating the American with Disabilities Act is a violation of a law not a mandate.
I had an incredibly passive-agressive experience with a certain worker there named Eric. My buddy and I went into the store to get his broken camera lens replaced, and we were told we’d be accompanied soon. We were then approached by Eric who seemed somewhat on edge, to say the least. His initial remarks set the stage for our future interaction as he put on a bland face, lacking of enthusiasm, as well as a monotone voice to match. He didn’t seem enthralled with the fact that he had to deal with us, as the atmosphere of our entire conversation seemed to be rushed. His inelegant actions as well as his passive aggressive demeanor lead me to never want to shop at this specific location. I invoke you to review your staff.
Look, I have been to Apple stores all over the country and I have NEVER had any bad experiences with any Apple stores other than the Southpoint. I have been using an Apple product since I’ve been able to hold soemthing. So, I drove 3 hours to this particular store because they were the only one in my area that had the iPad I wanted in stock. I generally like buying from the store opposed to buying online because I enjoy the face to face interaction. With that being said I am a college student and was looking to buy the new IPad Pro 12.9in with the magic keyboard as well as the 2nd Gen Apple Pencil. Well I went in under the impression that you could finance it through Apple without applying for an Apple Card and just pushing another form of payment for monthly installments. That’s not the case however, that’s not what the problem is. I can understand why Apple does this. So the associate that I was dealing with I didn’t catch her name but obviously had better places to be and other things to attend to other than to the customer because, as I’m standing here contemplating 1,600 dollars she is just pushing and pushing asking if I have other forms of payment or other cards just on and on and on. So I end up buying the products and walk out and am just sweating because I’m so livid. I then get in the car and drive to Raleigh to the Crabtree location to return the items. Which is another 30 mins. Tammy is who I met with at the Crabtree location and she was so fantastic just like any other Apple experience I have had. I’m not one to right reviews but I feel that at this location something should be done based on the other reviews I’ve read. With all of this being said, I have no hard feelings towards Apple or any of the associates, but I with NEVER return to this location and if you can drive an extra 25-30 mins away to the Crabtree location it’s totally worth it.
We called ahead to order a phone case so we could pick it up on the way through. The customer service on the phone was above and beyond. When we got to the store, we saw a very long line that wrapped around the building, due to COVID. We went straight to the front because we wanted to make sure they had our order before waiting. The security guard they had up front quickly confirmed our order so we got into line and waited. The line moved quickly and we had our new case and was back on the road on no time at all.Very impressed with the service we received, both on the phone and in the store.
They cancelled my appointment without notification after 10 minutes automatically. I was never informed about this policy. I arrived there exactly 13 minutes late. Even at the doctors office you have 15 minutes extra. I called and was on hold with customer service so I could tell them that I was going to be late. Nobody picked up the phone at the store. I drove 35 minutes with two little kids. If I knew that they cancelled the appointment 10 minutes after, I would have turned back. I asked for a supervisor to explain the situation. The supervisor neither talked on the phone nor came out of the store to talk to the customer. They completely ignore customers. They dont care. I will refrain from buying apple products and will not visit this store again.
Make an appointment!!! The line looked long but went fast. The customer service inside was very good. Outside in line the employee made it seem like there was a 50% chance of getting my ipod fixed. But I paid for the apple care - so ultimately I would get a new one. He was annoyed I couldnt remember my password. Overall I had a good experience but the staff should keep the experience upbeat and positive. Your items are crazy expensive and you want your customer leaving happy.
Absolutely terrible, even if you have an appointment be prepared to wait over an hour while you witness over a dozen employees walking around doing nothing. One of the worst experiences I have ever had at an apple store
Gorgeous new building and the staff was knowledgeable and fun to chat with. Great job with COVID precautions.
Verzion has been trying to figure out why my Apple Watch would not connect to cell service, they replaced the watch twice and had me send one back to Apple. Apple said there was nothing wrong with the watch. They also had me change my cell phone and watch phone numbers and change both devices all of which didnt work. So after spending hours on the phone I decided to make an appointment at the Apple store and they where able to fix my issue.Apple saved the day, all their employees went above and beyond.I wish I could give the SouthPoint Apple employees a MILLION STARS!!!!!
This is the worst place ever. Rude
We recently purchased two new Mac book Pros and the staff and customer service were both awesome. Our clerk walked us through the many options to choose from until we were both satisfied with which model and options we wanted. Helped up set up both our accounts right in the store. Store was packed with shoppers but everyone was helpful and courteous. Store itself was stocked, orderly and clean. Will be back for any future Apple needs! Wheel chair accessible, free parking, located inside Streets of South Point shopping cente
One of amazing thing about this Apple store is, it is attractive, your time is cherished, and the customers service is top notch.
I’ve been to this Apple store on two separate occasions once earlier in the year and now today. The staff at the store are always willing to go above and beyond to make sure that you’re happy. With the pandemic going on, I feel confident when visiting their store that they have taken proper safety procedures and protocols. It is also very nice to see they have security outside helping guide people where they need to go and keep from forming a crowd.
Very poor shopping experience. Even after booking an appt, had to wait for 45 mins before we could talk with a shopping specialist . Thats not professional, especially it being an apple store. Don’t go to this store if you don’t wanna waste time. Buy an iPhone online and go for only pickup.
New store looks very cool -can’t wait to see it up close and in person post pandemic. Pick up windows are great and well-managed and staff is as knowledgeable and friendly as ever.
Came to purchase an iPad and was told they were too busy to sell me one without an appointment. Went to Target instead.
I did not want to go to the mall during the pandemic, but the apple care advisor directed me to go into the store. Reluctantly, I went to the store and arrived about 5 minutes before my appointment. After arriving, it was unclear what to do, I found two different signs, one for order pickup, the other for Genius Bar appointments. Since I had an appointment, I went over the the Genius Bar line. There was no one to greet me and no instructions on my appointment. After sitting in line for a few minutes, one of the security guards came over and asked me if I had an appointment and wanted my information. He was not in an apple uniform, so I was a little reluctant to share information, but he was able to confirm my appointment with the store over the walkie. It was a cold and rainy night, but I was determined to fix this computer. After standing in line for over 45 minutes, I finally was called into the store by the security guard. There was statement like no sorry for making you wait and no thank you for your patience by my genius. When I talked to my genius, he had the notes pulled up by apple care, but could not see the chat information and what I had talked to apple care about. The genius then told me that apple care had told me incorrect information and said there was nothing that could be done. No empathy that I had stood out in the cold and had come down to the mall, which I have not done for the pandemic and felt very uneasy about visiting, no sorry, no flexibility, only telling me I should talk to apple care again. For a technology company, this was a terrible visit. They are putting security guards at risk by making them be the concierge to the customers outside waiting. No way to check yourself in on the app, no customer service. Please rethink your model, and dont send customers to the store when you know you cant help them.
No geniuses found here. I needed an iPhone repair and was given a replacement device. Serial number of new device didnt match the receipt. Phone was locked to AT&T instead of T-Mobile. Fools in the store said I had to call T-Mobile to get it unlocked which of course didnt work. Have they never heard of the concept of phones being locked to carriers? Basic cell phone stuff. Hours of calls to the store, to T-Mobile, and to Apple, and 3 days later I am still out $549 without a working device.
It seems like kicking customers out is their number one responsibility!!Unprofessional and rude employees who are quick to lecture customers. and frown at you when trying to clarify their misspoken statements.I had encountered with the lead, Brittan and a specialist, Ryan. One walked out on me and the other sided and tried to kick me out when I only wanted to purchase an Iphone 12. I should not support a company who hire these people with no integrity.
A notification popped up on my MacBook Air stating my battery needed to be serviced. Weird, because while the laptop wasn’t holding a charge quite as long as it used to, it was fine considering it was a 2015 model. No other problems, so I ignored the notification. It popped up again a few minutes later, so I contacted Apple Support and was told I needed to get the battery replaced. I took it to the store at Southpoint.I was told they could replace the battery within a day and it would be $129. Much cheaper than having to buy a new laptop so I said let’s do it.That evening, I get a call that the battery isn’t the problem—it’s the logic board. That $129 was now going to be over $400. The Apple associate then suggested I upgrade to a new laptop. I decided to decline further service and get my laptop back. The whole thing seemed a little fishy. If the problem was the logic board, why was the notification telling me it was the battery?I got my laptop back and when I got home, I discovered the battery is completely bricked and the performance is horrible. I contacted Apple Support to explain my new situation and after about two hours of runaround, I was told that I could have it shipped off for the $400+ repair if I wanted it fixed. Any notion of them addressing the fact that I received it in worse condition than when I dropped it off was conveniently sidestepped, despite asking the question repeatedly.I’ve been an Apple customer for most of my adult life. But after the runaround and their failure to address the issue, I guess it’s time to stop being an Apple customer.
Been a apple customer for over 10 years, my experience in the store today was by far the worst!!
Very unhelpful - zero customer service. You make an appointment, they make you wait for 9 minutes and when they get to you tell you that you are late and they can’t help. Come back at next available appointment - which is in 5 days. My daughter is a student at carolina who now has no laptop to do zoom or work. And the laptop is less than a year old. Stopped charging. Quality of apple product is going down and the customer service is going down with it.
It has unhelpful and rude employees and manager
Dont go! Horrible customer service!
Very unorganized, appointments are never started on time, staff too busy talking to each other.
Whats the point of making an appointment if no one sees you for over 45 minutes?
Drove out of the way 45 min to just be turned away because there were no appointments available. The “greeter” in front of the store was extremely rude. Didn’t bother to help me schedule an appointment or try to get an appointment for me at Crabtree. My iPhone X will barely hold a charge, and I received no compassion from the employee. Recommend a different employee as greeter to potential customers.
Great customer service. Although Apple no longer makes the part I needed for my iMac, I was given other alternatives. They were timely in providing service based on my appointment. Also, I appreciate the protocol in place for social distancing.
Literally the worst apple store i have ever visited.. iGot bad service 3 times and finally i decided to write a review .. rude in store geniuses .sorry. i think they are genius in disappointing ppl ..
Great staff! SO much better than the Crabtree location!!! helpful and quick easy in and out process even with COVID!
Long lines but it moves pretty quickly. Workers make sure surfaces are clean and very efficient in handling the customer! The guard seems to be easily overwhelmed but overall I had a good experience
Very bad shopping experience. The staff shows no welcome and is condescending.
Nobody should ever buy Apple. I never will again. These people are milking this pandemic for all its worth. You practically need your medical history to get in the store if they even give you an appointment to go in.
If only I can give half star or negative ratings I would have given to this store. Worst, I repeat worst experience ever. It felt like I am not at apple store but in the open market where they dont know how to treat customers. Store manager dont know how to handle customers and at the same time they dont have any idea about what their phone support is conveying to the customers. Please save yourself some time and peace of mind by never visiting this store
If I could give them a zero I would...Had to send my MacBook off for a repair. They were almost one week late getting it back from the repair and this was for my business. Just a simple call to the store when it came in to see if I could do curbside or outside the store pickup resulted in never being able to get those answers from the store. Just awful.
If I have the option, I would give ZERO! I went to the store to repair my laptop, they loaned me a laptop, I have asked if any installation was needed, they said “no”. He came back with the loan laptop in a computer bag, when they opened the bag he found out there were 2 computer instead of 1 in this bag. He asked me if I need the bag and I replied “no” I have my bag. Well I got home to start using the loaned laptop and for my surprise ALL systems needed updates, I have spent hours doing that (Apple don’t pay me to do that). My laptop was finally ready and I went to the store to picking it up and left. About 1h later someone from this store called asking when I could come back and give back the laptop bag, with a accusation tone, I’ve replied politely saying I didn’t take the bag because I had my own bag, he continued accusing me about having and keeping the store bag and said that in the registration there was a note saying I had this bag, which I hadn’t!!!!!! I mentioned to him to talk to the person who attended me and reminded him about the 2 laptops in the same bag when he grabbed it for me. I was very INSULTED! Better APPLE watch for employees training and better customer service!!!!
This store has the worst customer service. I have placed an order for iphone 12 pro online and have chosen this store for express pickup after the online portal showed that this phone can be picked up between 8.30 and 8.45 pm. After reaching the store at around 8.35, I was asked a QR code by the security. I showed the e mail confirmation on my order that i already paid for, and after a while, i was allowed to enter into the store, There i showed my order number in my phone. The front desk lady was very casual and took her sweet time to check the order on her phone and asked me to wait and went inside. While waiting i noticed that the people working over there making fun of a fellow customer for his broken english. After about 15-20 min, the lady returned with a fake smile and said that she has no clue on this order and asked me to immediately step out of the store without any convincing explanation on what went wrong with the order. when i insisted to provide me an explanation, she said that there is some glitch in the system . i soon realized that they were not willing to work as the store would close by 9 pm. if my order is not going to be ready as promised in the email, they should have intimated me. when i insisted on the reason, they reiterated that i immediately need to step out of their store and call customer care. They said they are not responsible for online orders (express pickup) because they said that is a separate entity from the physical store, and said that they are not responsible for pick up orders placed online. Such a rude, pathetic customer service . The least they could have done is call to the apple and resolved the issue rather than asking me to do that. Anyways, i had harrowing experience with the people working over there. I strongly suggest customers to not pick this store for any express pickup and save yourself some time. I wonder how these employees are so ungrateful to the customers who pay about 1500 for iphone and make their livelihood carry on in spite of pandemic . I called customer care and reported this rude attitude, and they took a note of this and said they are going to put a note to the management.
Had screen issue. Took five minutes to drop off. Excellent service!!
Went to the store for a walk-in, they didn’t have any availability so they took my email and set up a time. They told me I would be contacted and I never heard back from them
Went in without an appointment but wanted to purchase an Apple Watch. There are 4 individuals checking folks in( basically standing around). I was told there were no appointments available (4 hr till closing time). Seems odd to me that I can’t walk in give them money and leave with an apple product.
Terrible experience, my phone is what I have been using for online school and I can not get any help for weeks out. Apple definitely does not care about helping students, pandemic situations, and device repairs for students.
I guess the term genius means that you are required to have an answer when you really dont know at all what youre talking about. A small dose of humility could have saved us all some time. After the associate fed me a dissatisfactory answer, I resolved to find an answer elsewhere, which I did, successfully.Side note, it doesnt take a genius to clean windows, and keep an establishment tidy. I mean, this is retail after all. If youre trying to sell me premium products, at least give me a clean, premium experience.
There are more than 20 Apple workers in the store. They are all super nice hence the four stars, but to buy an iPhone 11 there was a waiting list for 45 min. I wonder why Apple could not have trained these workers and get the job done faster. I ended up buying my phone online still through the Apple Store and had them prepare it for me the next day. Please note this is the day after thanksgiving and Im just sharing my experience because you asked 😉
Impossible to buy stuff in person. Only online. What’s even the point anymore.
I am not an apple fan at all, but as my son wanted a macbook I thought I will go with him. We know what we wanted. I thought it would take 10 mins to go in, buy what I want and get out. I dont need any sales pitch as I know what I want.We enter here and they tell us 50 minutes wait. I explained that I just want to buy what I like and they said there is no sales person available. I dont need any sales people. I just want to buy and get out.So.. I asked that would you call/text me so I can go to the store next to them and come back? NO they said. We have to keep waiting here and when they call our name and we are not there then we go back to the queue at the bottom.Well, I asked that would it be exact 50 mins? In that case I can go out and be back in 30 mins. They said No, we cannot say if its exact 50 mins.Spending $2500 was not easy at this store! Why would anyone ever do this to themselves!Thought I will like Apple once I am at the store.. but I guess my hatred to them just got worse.Oh yeah.. not to forget - there are mosquitoes in the store! 50 mins of getting bitten by them and spending $2500!. So much for my son...Part 2 - When our turn came no one called out our name. We waited for around 45 mins and went back to check how long it would still take? To our surprise our name was no more on the list. I guess the employee didnt really like us. They had removed us from the list. Luckily the lady who we asked remembered our name on the list and helped us get someone in next 5 mins. The employee who helped us was really good and got our checked done in 10 mins as we knew what we wanted.10 mins is what it should take to buy something when you know what you want. And making your customers wait 50 mins for a 10 min job is not something I would want.
Always good customer service, which is generally true across apple stores. I’ve found staff at this location to be exceptionally understanding, patient and information. A few times I’ve had issues with my Macbooks during exams, and I’ve always been able to resolve problems by walking in and speaking to a staff member. If I haven’t made a Genius Bar reservation I do occasionally have to wait, but generally that’s no longer than 15 minutes—impressive, given how packed the store is!
STORE IS CLOSED TO WALKINS. SHOULD BE POSTED ON HERE CLEARLY SO PEOPLE DONT DRIVE 45MINS 1 WAY TO FIND OUT!
Excellent professional staff who can help you with your Apple iphone, and accessories
Mean & unhelpful staff & security. Save yourself the hassle and go to literally any other apple store!
