The staff is extremely friendly and professional. Dr. Pate walked me through my scans and taught me about my eyes (whereas most doctors just say all good and move on) which I really appreciated. It was quick and efficient and I got exactly what I needed. I definitely recommend Dr. Pate!

Definitely recommend Dr. Pate and his staff! He was so wonderful when I went for my eye exam, was efficient, and answered all my questions. His staff is so wonderfully kind over the phone and in person, especially when I called to get my glasses readjusted (no small feat during covid times!) since they kept falling off my face (they got me in the next day!).

I have been going to Durham vision for the past 8 years for my eye exams and have never had any issues. Based on my experience I now bring my whole family to have their eyes examined by Dr. Pate at Durham Vision. The staff at Durham Vision is extremely nice and helpful with handling insurance claims. I have never had to wait to get in for my appointment, they have always been on time. Dr. Pate even takes the time to explain exactly what is going on with my eyes. Rest of the office staff is SUPER helpful throughout the entire process-setting up an appointment, selecting frames that actually look great on you, and maximizing insurance benefits. It’s a smaller, friendly practice, which I love! I highly recommend this office! I also love that they use a texting system to confirm appointments as well as send a reminder the day of your appointment. Also, they are very upfront and transparent with pricing as you go thru the process of selecting frames.
