First time stopping by this place and it is wonderful. The “ice ice baby” (essentially an iced vanilla latte) was delicious and there are great indoor and outdoor play spaces for kids! I’ll be back soon!

I love this place. The space itself is amazing, even when I go without my kids, but really, its great to have a place where I feel totally welcome with my small children. Since the pandemic and they are doing curbside pickup, one nice thing I noticed is that, since they always added the cream and sugar to my drinks they know exactly how I like my coffee. Other coffee shops I frequent, suddenly are adding cream and sugar for me and I can not figure out how to communicate directly enough to get the proportions I actually want. But Nolia, they always get it exactly right.

The owners are the nicest people ever! Coffee is great and the atmosphere is cozy and relaxing and I feel comfortable with my three girls there. My nervous toddler warmed up to the space very quickly!I wish there were more family centric spaces like this in the triangle area! I hope others take note that this is the way to do it! 🙌

Great coffee and they have a good set up for ordering online and getting your order with minimal contact. Workers were wearing masks the entire time. A great local minority owned family business!

I love Nolia! As a caffeine addict, Ive tried basically every coffee shop within a 15 mile radius. The coffee at Nolia is rich and flavorful without being acidic or bitter. I especially love the Ice Ice Baby, their iced pourover coffee with a dash of vanilla. The icing on the cake is how friendly the owners and staff are. Their attitudes akways brighten my day! Its a pleasure to visit through and through.

Incredible family and child centered, truly family owned coffee shop. They have a small, delightful coffee selection, some pastry options, tea, and hot cocoa including a child menu. There is fenced in outdoor seating so the children(and adults) can play as well as a cozy indoor play area and seating. Phenomenal place to bring the children and enjoy conversation and a cup of coffee. Genuinely welcomes your beloved little ones in all their energetic beauty. Perfect place for anyone with a young one looking for community, connection, and caffeine.

Nolia is the perfect coffee shop for the minimalist -- simple menu, stunning design details, and a beautiful philosophy: a cafe should hold its community. Its full name is Nolia: coffee + family, and you find out why the minute you step inside. It boasts a beautiful play area that can accommodate several children and parents for a playdate or just a sweet spontaneous hot chocolate. Check out the kid-height kids menu! This place goes beyond child friendly, it celebrates family and connection. The owners Natalie and Justin are warm & friendly and passionate about their place.10/10 would absolutely recommend, again & again! They even have a stroller/ wheelchair entrance. If youre lucky enough to stop by on a sunny day, try to check out the courtyard, complete with curious chickens peeking out from their corner coop!

I LOVE Nolia. Whenever I leave, I feel like Im leaving a friends house. Saying goodbye to the staff because they have established that they care, not just as a courtesy. This is on top of them having a place where my daughter can crawl around and play without me having to worry shes bothering other customers. They have a diaper changing station and a diap

The vanilla iced coffee was amazing, and the coffee shop was so cute! Both my 13 month old and 5 year old had a great time- cute little inside play area for kids and a ton of space outdoors to run around and play as well. I will definitely be back 😀

A great neighborhood coffee shop in the old Golden Belt mill church building. Excellent coffee from B&W. They are also serving Jeddahs teas. The pour-over coffee takes a bit longer to prepare, but is ultimately the correct choice. If youre hungry, a variety of baked goods is also available (from East Durham Bake Shop, I believe). Very family oriented, with a play area for kids and stroller parking. There is car parking along the street or you can park in Golden Belt and walk if your parallel parking game is weak.

Whats not to love? A local, family friendly spot with great coffee, welcoming staff, and are for kids to play, read, and hang out. Visited for the first time over the weekend and will come back whenever Im in the area. Support local folks! Also, they do have an outdoor space that is available for event rental...not sure of the details, but a good option for events.

I just went to this adorable coffee shop for the first time! First of all, the owners are extremely kind, which makes me want to go way more often. Then, of course the coffee and the treats are delicious! My 21 month old daughter also loved the play area, and it was awesome how family-friendly the whole place was. They were telling us that they will be expanding soon to include an outdoor play area and more seating. Very exciting! A wonderful addition to the Durham community. You should definitely check it out.

Love this little coffee place. A sweet space with toys for smaller children is visible from the register, so you can order your coffee without a lot of wiggling and wining if you came with kids. Theres a big yard outside, too. Coffee is top notch and so are the pastries

Coffee is smooth and delicious, space is welcoming to ALL, and my daughter LOVES it! She makes herself right at home. Ive met other parents, had impromptu playdates, and made friends with the chickens in the adjacent yard. All in all, Nolia is more than a coffee shop, its a community, and Im ever so grateful theyve joined the Bull City tribe!

One of the first things you might notice upon entering the cozy walls of Nolia’s Coffee is Justin’s contagious enthusiasm and smile. A wonderful spot to come thru, hang back w a great cup of coffee, and kick back for a few while the kids entertain themselves. Don’t tell Mommy, but it’s crossed my mind to leave the kids for an hour 😂
