I dropped my phone that was already in an otter case on a dirty floor and when I went to wipe it off with disinfectant got the black screen of death. The phone was still working but I could not see the screen. I took it to TCR and Gavin was great, explained to me what might happen after the repair but also was responsive.I always bring my phone to TCR and I have never had a bad experience. Seriously do you know how you feel when your cell phone does not work in the terror of thinking you might have to get a new phone. Why go through Apple when you can do it faster and better with these guys!

This is one of best places I have ever been to repair a phone.I had a phone with cracked glass and damaged LCD.They not only replaced and repaired everything to new-like condition but also finished the work in only about 30 minutes.Very impressed and satisfied with the service. I cracked my screen on my iPhone so I took it to TCR for repair. The next day my camera didn’t work, so I ran back and they fixed it. About four weeks later, my screen went completely black. I took it back to get repaired to the Raleigh store. They did not have the equipment to fix it there so they sent it to the RTP store. Luckily my SIM card fit in my old stripped down iPhone with a shattered screen so I was at least able to text and make calls, but being without my normal phone for two days was a hassle. They replaced the defective screen and reset the phone wiping it clean. At the time I thought I was going to lose all the data on my phone, but thankfully everything was backed up to the cloud and restoring it was super easy. The people there are friendly, but it was a very frustrating experience. What should’ve taken one hour to fix a screen turned into multiple trips back-and-forth and so much time spent waiting for the repair work. And now that I got my phone back the battery life isn’t the same as it was. I never needed to charge my phone during the day after charging it at night until now. It’s just one thing after another!

This was the easiest experience I had with a broken phone ever. Instead of waiting for someone at the apple store to have a free second to even make eye contact I was able to get my entire battery replaced in less than 3 minutes. This might be the best experience that I have ever had at a retail store. I normally fix all of my phones and my friends phones. I ran into a problem when fixing one of my friends phones, I couldnt find the tool I needed and I already had the phone torn apart. They helped me fix the issue with no hassle and no waiting around. If you need your phone repaired or want to purchase a used phone, I would highly recommend the location on 55. They treated me great there.

We first called the store on Ninth Street with a strange request. Our dryer had stopped working and upon being dismantled we discovered the circuit board need a small repair. Super friendly service. Quick and efficient and reasonably priced. My iPhone 6 screen had lifted and damaged the screen from the inside. I could only see about 1/2 of my screen. Ray was reassuring about it being a fixable issue. He guessed it would take about 20 minutes, but I swear it was more like 10. I didn’t even have time to finish cleaning out my purse while waiting! They moved from their Southpoint location, so much easier to get to with ample parking.

I dropped my phone in water and was worried it was ruined. I took it in to the South Durham TCR location and had a peak customer service experience. The tech (named Nick or Ray?) was really attentive, knowledgable, and fast. I had dismantled the phone and removed the battery as soon as the immersion happened. He told me I was lucky and needed no repairs or special drying. He could have told me anything and lined his pockets, but he didnt even charge me for the assessment. An honest broker!! If I ever have another phone problem I will go out of my way to bring it to this TCR location.

I stopped in to TCR to see if they could repair the power plug on my older android phone. They took it in the back and went to work. 10 or fifteen minutes passes. It turned out be be something simple. They essentially removed a hairball. But heres the thing. They didnt charge me. I would have bought a new phone cover just to say thanks, but they didnt have anything that would fit my antique phone.They seem like good guys - Ill be going back when I need more extensive repairs.

Two words. SCREEN. PROTECTOR. This isnt my first time working with TCR and it certainly wont be my last. I came in to get my screen repaired yet again and this time, a miracle happened. My saving grace, Joey, informed me that all I needed was a new screen protector. She peeled the old one off right in front of me and boom! Looked like a brand new phone. I was and still am very happy.To anyone who is new to getting their phone fixed, I would only recommend TCR. I’ve been here with my friends plenty of times but rather than lying to me and fixing my “broken” screen, they were honest and actually cared to save me some money. Joey could’ve taken my phone back and charged me a heck of a lot more than a screen protector to fix something that was not broken. That is not how TCR works. I’ve had some negative experiences at other repair shops so I always end up back here. My advice it to skip the shopping around and just use TCR. It’ll save you a headache.My last piece of advice is to ALWAYS GET A SCREEN PROTECTOR. As you can see, it saved my case this time. Not to mention, they are cheap! TCR has them for only $15 AND puts it on for you. Sure, online shopping may have $5, $10 screen protectors but you have to wait DAYS for them to be delivered. All that waiting time is just another chance for you to drop and damage your phone. When your protectors do arrive, whose to say they arent broken? Or you put them on incorrectly? Came in with a shattered iPhone and saw Nathan. Nathan quickly diagnosed that if he would have repaired the phone it would cause more harm than good. It would have been very easy for Nathan to take my money and say he fixed my phone. Nathan instead described what was happening and came up with an alternative solution. I did not have any work on my phone done but would definitely recommend Nathan and TCR.

I had dropped my iphone a couple of times (or more) and it finally damaged not only the glass, but also the screen to the point that I couldnt get into my phone any more. My carrier said my only option was to buy a brand new phone at full price and they couldnt help me get my data off of my current phone.Id used TCR for a glass repair in the summer, but didnt know if they could save the phone once the LCD screen was impaired. I didn’t want to post this comment but I have to after my follow up call. I came to get my iPhone 6splus screen replaced and I can honestly say it was fast quick satisfying service I was happy. Then a little over a month in a half my screen went black no crascks or bruising of any kind. I call to tell what happen and instead of trying to help correct the problem they only suggest that there’s no warranty and that I should come in replace the screen again at full price and see if that solves the problem. But it’s there work that has caused my phone screen to fail now it’s no other solution. How can I trust that the other screen will work when this one failed soSoon. I wouldn’t recommend this place toAnyone...

I am an office manager for a very busy HVAC company and all of our technicians work off of iPads. When one of our guys had a kid run by him in a house and knock it out of his hand, the screen was unbelievably shattered. I called around to several different places, often encountering either rude customer service representatives or outrageous prices. Finally, I called TCR and spoke with a gentleman who was both knowledgeable and professional. It was for that reason alone I chose to pursue taking our iPad to TCR to get the screen fixed. (Although, the price was outstanding!) I dropped the iPad off a little after 10:00AM and was greeted by a smiling face. The check in was easy and the technicians seemed very confident about the repair. They had it fixed and ready to go within 2 hours! Needless to say, both the technician and I, were extremely grateful as we were able to continue throughout our day with almost no inconvenience after a stressful situation.
