The people are extremely helpful and made it an easy process. It is a small lot but a very interesting inventory that is fun to check out. They made buying easy, even hanging around after hours while I played phone tag with the lender. The car was in detailed condition (I had found it online and went in to test drive and purchase.) All the paperwork was in order and the plate promptly sent so a very easy purchase.If I had any criticism, it is that there were no issues noted on the car (and I didnt even identify during the test drive) but immediately afterwards I could tell there is probably a wheel bearing/ball joint going out (~100K on the car) and a tire pressure sensor needing to be changed. Not expecting the car to be perfect of course but I would expect that a thorough check of the car would have identified those issues.Altogether, I would definitely recommend them!

We were in the market for an all wheel drive Lexus Rx 350, we looked for about a month all over raleigh/durham area. The ones that were came across were either extremely rusted, or not very well maintained. The entire buying process was effortless thanks paul & his team. This by far has been the best car buying experience Ive had. I was pre-approved with my credit union, and found they offered an online search tool called TrueCar. Using that site I went through hundreds of cars, and finally settled on what made sense for me financially, but had all the bills and whistles I wanted. The true car buying experience was wonderful, but the folks on the other end at Carolina pre-owned made me a happy customer. The purchase process was quick, and seamless and they were friendly and knowledgeable about how to handle a large purchase from out of state. Susie in particular walked me through all of the details, while Paul made sure my new baby made it to me safe and sound. I would have posted this review a week and a half sooner, but Ive been driving as much as I can since I received my car approximately 72 hours after finding the one I wanted online. I trustworthy company with great customer service.

Found the car online, had to talk to several people before I got to someone who would return my calls and take me seriously. Ask for Suzy. Drove from Mt City Tennessee to buy the car, was told it was detailed and ready to go. When I arrived, the car had very little gas and was generally clean, but not clean enough for delivery to the client, the steering column was filthy with dust and food crumbs, the interior windows were so dirty, I had to pull over and clean the front window when driving into the sun, and apparently a staff member was driving this car regularly because her makeup was on the turn signal stalk (if it wasn’t hers, they never cleaned the car) and her name was stored in the cars phone system . When I asked for some gas for the car, they seriously only put about 8 gallons in a 15 gallon tank leaving me 2/3 of a tank to drive back to Tennessee on.Overall, the experience was ok, quick and painless. They just missed the ball when it came to cleaning the car, (I had been told it was being detailed for my arrival) and making sure I was good to go when it came to getting home in a car I had never driven.The car however, is amazing and if all the vehicles on their lot are this nice, I would not hesitate to buy here again, just gonna make sure we have a new understanding about what I think “customer service “ is and what I, as the paying customer, expect.

This is not a good place to go car shopping! They will scam you out of your title! The owner Paul is not a good guy, he has bad business habits and will hang up in your face if you’re asking him questions that he doesn’t like. I paid for my car and he’s now telling me I have to go to the DMV pay EXTRA MONEY to get a title that HE AND HIS COMPANY LOST! When asked about it he told me to figure it out on my own. This is not a good business to go to, I repeat DO NOT SHOP HERE!!! He takes no accountability for him losing my title and tried to blame it on me and the DMV.

I really don’t write reviews because that’s not my sort of thing but this one deserved one. I was looking online at their car section and saw a really great car for 3,995 it was the Cadillac Rts, I called the shop and asked about the car. A customer representative told me that they just got the car and that it needs to go the shop first before repairs can be made, and which I replied okay that’s fine. The representative told me that I should call back in a week to check up on the car so I did and meet with the same answer that the car was in the shop and they are still waiting and to call back. Now for some background information the car was only 3,995 I was going to do a down payment of 3,000 and finance the rest. I told the representative that and he said that’s great, now don’t get me wrong they have great customer service but I just don’t like how they lie to customers. They told me the car was going to be reserved for me, but every time I called they stated that the car was in the shop. This constant going back and forth checking to see if the car has gotten fixed has been happening for a month now. The last time I checked to see if the car has gotten fix was the end of April and when that happened a customer representative said that this time they would call me back to give me an update to which they never did. It’s now may 27 and I still have yet to receive any information about the car. It’s really disheartening when you have a customer that wants to really buy a car in your lot and constantly calls you to check up on the car . Than when you as a store tell her that instead of calling them they’ll update up within a week about the car and never do it is very frustrating.

We bought a used car from this dealer at what appeared to be a reasonable price. There was an issue with a leak of power steering fluid from the rack, which I thought would have been caught/addressed by the state inspection, but the car passed the most recent inspection. I did not get pre-inspection, so found this out afterwards. I called the dealer about my concern and the sales person implied that when I bought the car, it was as is, but said he would get back to me, which he has yet to do. Had I known this up front, I would have offered a lower amount for the car.The dealer was recommended from a good friend. As far as used car dealers, they do have a small, but nice selection; however, if you do plan on buying anything from this dealer, I would strongly recommend a pre-inspection from a mechanic who will do a thorough inspection since you are buying as it, which is normal for used cars.This is the third used car I bought from a small dealer, which leads me to the following conclusion, if you are in the market for a used car, I would recommend Carmax. They are a bit more selective in their review process before they put a car on their lot.

It took me no time at all to purchase a car from CPOA . I called them for a test drive at 3 and owned the car at 6 and they treated me well the whole way through. I’m loving my new Infiniti G37x(Edited) a week later the car broke down. Never should I car break down after a week of owning it, if they knew the car had issues they could’ve told me that before I bought it .

They run ads online for cars they supposedly have to sell. I tried calling.Never got any return calls. Just a text letting me know they were open. I drove over 50 miles one way thinking I would have a chance to buy at least one of the three cars I went to buy. Got there, no where to park. Inadequate undersized lot. Went in, asked about keys for the three cars. The guy handed me keys to only one. Said he would be RIGHT with me. I never did find the 2 cars without the keys. I stood around half an hour and then politely returned their keys. I came with the funds to buy ALL THREE of those cars. But they were too busy. Cool. Everybody has Cars.

As the year went on I came under some financial trouble, and Carolina Pre-Owned worked with me as far as my payments went. They have been nothing but helpful and understanding towards my situation. On top of that, they are really nice people. I have developed a relationship with Wendy especially and she is super helpful and one of the sweetest ladies I have ever met. Horrible experience!!! I showed up ready to buy a car that we had already previously agreed on the price of $2,500 cash out the door they would not sell me the car for under $3,000 I felt like it was a complete bait and switch. I manager (or owner not sure) came out of the back office telling me the best that he will everyone do is 2700 on a car thats listed at 2,495. This is with me paying for tax title and tags on my own (above and beyond the 2700). They were also adamant about still charging me $499 above this for their office fees which makes no sense because Im taking it to Virginia to get a tags and title. Be careful and absolute dating switch. Went next door to purchase my car great experience R32 auto sales. they actually lowered the price of a car lower than what was in the window. I would not purchase a car here without going to R32 Auto sales and checking it out.

Horrible place with horrible people running it. After stopping in, shopping around; we ultimately decided on the car there and went back. Mind you the car clearly stated a big sign hanging from the mirror a price of $2495.00 basically $2500.00 so we go in with cash in hand and all the sudden they want $3000.00 DOLLARS!!!! SERIOUSLY! fees and god knows what else. When my husband told them that wasnt fair the manager came out rude. Still saying the best he could do was still $200 more then the price on the car. This place is shady and anyone considering them should use great caution! Classic bait and switch. STAY CLEAR! VERY RUDE AND THEY LIE ABOUT THE PROCES

It has been 4 months, and i can tell you so far i have not had any problems at all. Although the interior of my car was not as clean as i hoped, but i got a great deal on price. I am very happy with my purchase, i will definitely return to them for my next vehicle!

I love love love Carolina Pre Owned auto! I bought my car a couple of months ago with my sister, and I still go every month for my payment just to see Paul. I went to inquire about a car just before they were about to close and Paul stayed after hours and did not give me anything less than stellar customer service. His customer service is so genuine and he was interested in actually getting to know us as people and not just customers. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for cheap but well maintained cars. My car is a 2008 and had a fair amount of miles on it but I have still not had any major problems with it at all. Thank you Paul for all your help. :)

We felt pressured the whole time and the boy bought the vehicle because the salesman basically wouldnt let us say no. I bought a vehicle from this dealer, not too long ago, I really did not need another car, I thought it would be cool to own a luxury car like a BMW, so I went to Carolina Auto Dealer, and I bought me a 2012 BMW 535I the price on tag was $15,995 before I end up buying the vehicle they raised the price for $16,400 because of taxes supposedly, well I still bought the car even with the price been a little bit higher, after Paul finish doing the paper work, he gave me the car key, I ask him for a 2nd key, he told me that he only had one key to the vehicle I was purchasing, but he said that he would gave me another key, not the same car key, a key fog so at least I could program the key to unlock the car, he lied, I never receive the 2nd key plus he sold me a car that was overheating, when the car was given me this on the screen very often, ( drive moderate or turn the engine off and wait to cool down) I called Paul and ask him what was going on with the car, and I explain him the situation, he recommend me to take the car to Sonny for a diagnose, I took the car too Sonny, he recommend me Al’s Garage which is located on Chapel Hill, I took my car there and they diagnose that the water pump was bad + rear driver strut was broken this 2 parts with the labor cost me $2,000 just because Paul sold me a car which was not in a condition to be sold, i am just writing this review because I wouldn’t like other people to have the same experience I had.....PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP and if u are going to buy a car, don’t paid it off the same day, if u do, make sure u take a mechanic with u!!!! I almost forgot to said that all this happened on the las 3 months....

Im the owner of the dark grey 2005 Cadillac CTS that you see as listed SOLD on the website, and when I first saw the car I fell in love with it, I didnt really inspect the car like I shouldve done, for the price that they had it listed for, which was way below market sale price, and the looks of the car, I bought it within a hour or so of seeing it. I bought it with 118k miles on it in mid December 2016, its now June 2017, and Ive already put 15k miles on it (majority highway), and I have not had a major problem with the car except for the common problems that comes with the car thats listed online (major oil consumption) which causes it to have other problems, but once you add oil to the car again all problems are gone just like that. In 15k miles within 6 months, all that Ive had to do was replace the battery and tires. Coming from not even inspecting the car before buying which was taking a huge risk, this has been the best car Ive ever owned, and it is still running strong at 133k miles. This dealership sells quality cars, at priced to sell, and I would recommend someone to buy a car here. Owners are nice, and will work with you to get a good deal on the car, and was helpful with getting the car fixed at the beginning when it was having it problems, when it came down to it just needing oil.

Great customer service, but.. Have an 08 Audi A4 2.0t from them and its amazing except.. We noticed an oil leak within a month of ownership. Pre-assumption was they made and honest mistake and didnt fill it with the needed amount of oil. They were nice enough to give us $50 to fill it up, But will do nothing to get it fixed or at least admit their mistake on inspection and selling a broken vehicle with smiling faces.

Carolina Pre owned Autos has proven to be very trustworthy! I bought my car about 2 months ago and I am very happy with both the car and the service I have received. A couple of problems arose after I got my car home and I was worried about paying to get them fixed. Sonny, the manager, went out of his way to help me get them fixed even though I didnt have a warranty.

I dont write reviews but I felt I needed to give my honest opinion . I would not recommend buying anything from them. I did and I regret it every since I want go into all the all the problems I have found after I bought my car but it will cost around 3000 to fix the problems.

Great place if your looking for a used car. Sonny and veronica are so nice! Had an issue with my vehicle 3 weeks after I bought it with no warrenty and sonny told me to bring it back the following day. He gave me a great deal on the tire I needed and bought bulbs for my headlights and installed them for me for free when they went out. Also knocked a few hundred off the price of the car. Told me to come back if I needed anything. Will definitely reccomend them to anyone who needs a used car.

Went to look at a car, they were unsure on its details, it had a part missing the had ordered and another part apparently sitting inside. The car smelled musty and had sticky stains inside. They also had the wrong warranty info attached to the vehicle. This was a car already on their website and they were about to feature out front. Definitely didnt seem like they had it together. Wasnt confidence inspiring
