This little gas station is a reflection of how gas stations used to be all over America. A man and his sons running a Sales and repair shop. I ask about how their kids are doing, they ask after mine. Once, I left my wallet at the house, they didnt worry about it, they know Ill drive by tomorrow. if they have to go to the ends of the Earth to help me fix the problem with my car, then thats what theyll do. In two decades, there have only been two or three times when they were not able to get to my oil change or state inspection with no wait at all. It may look a little grungy because it is a little grungy. And thats a good thing in my opinion. These are hard-working men in a hard-working environment and their looks reflect it. A great, honest and friendly service station.

I would give a zero if I could. My sons car, recently purchased by my son, needed inspection. The tint is not dark, but he was informed after paying 33.00, he could come back after fixing the tint, pay $5 and he’d pass his inspection. This is a college student handling things on his own over Easter break and this man charged him knowing the car wouldn’t pass instead of just alerting him to the tint issue before doing the rest of the inspection. Clearly, he took advantage of a kid.

The guys at RDU are honest...that says a lot. I had a water pump issue in January of this year (2015). The guys took the time to show me the defective part and recommend a belt change since they had to put it back on anyway. I now have another car in their shop and am confident in their service. After many shady dealings with some other places in Durham, I finally have a car guy in my phone.

Seemed honest enough. They dropped us off while the vehicle was being repaired. We got a simple brake pad replacement with no surprise repairs needed.
