The UNH bookstore sells quality books and merchandise but it is extremely expensive. You are likely to find much better deals online or at another competitor in town. The UNH Bookstore DOES price-match. Show them the price online from a recognized seller and walk out with that product with the lower price. The Barnes and Nobles online bookstore paired with the UNH bookstore is a great way to see what books are required for classes and other organizational materials.

This place is scam that somehow hasnt been caught yet. Ordered multiple books that never came in and was told by staff not to return when asking them about it. Online stores and the two in downtown Durham are much better options.

This has to be the worst campus bookstore I have ever encountered. The law students up in Concord frequently have to wait for the course packets to show up online for ordering, and the bookstore almost always mails the packets out late. Many students in my fall contracts class didnt have the course packet until 2 weeks after we started classes, at no fault of their own. Considering we just started the first day of spring semester and there is still no way for us to order the packet through the bookstore despite our professor saying that the link to purchase the course packet should be up, Im anticipating that the bookstore is going to get the packets to us no earlier than February. Very poorly run, and I would highly recommend any other students (especially undergrads, dont let them fleece you) to check out other stores or to even rent your books online for a fraction of the cost.

The UNH bookstore is a great place to find all sorts of things, from books to sweatshirts. Theres a great variety of goods sold here.

AVOID AT ALL COSTOn multiple occasions I have ordered books online with it saying the book is availabl e, only to find out that they do have the book, that it is on hold and I will have to wait 2-3 weeks for the book to come in. The first time it happened after 2 weeks of not getting a book I was then sent an email telling me that the book was on hold and I had to wait another 2-3 weeks for the book to come in.A second time I went into the store after ordering a book I was told was available to find when the book would arrive. I went over to the customer service desk to ask. As I was wait the guy in front of me asked where he could find the book he was looking for and the lady he was talking to was incredibly rude to him; treating him like a five year old. After I asked the lady when my book would arrive to which the lady retorted What did you order it Saturday night. I told her no the day before, and she then rudely asked me if I received two emails like I was some idiot. I told her no only one. She then presided to ask me again like I was oblivious. I responded no I had only received the confirmation email. She then told me to go over the pick up table.(she obviously didnt believe I had only gotten 1 email). I went over to the desk only to be told that the book was on hold and Id have to go back to customer service(where I originally was). Once there I asked the guy there if I could find out when my book would arrive. He rudely responded to me How am I suppose to know, like I was some kind of idiotic jerk. He then continued to ask me what the book name was, and then my name, before berating me about how he should know and then told me to go back to the pick up line, that it was their area. I then told him all I need to know is how long it normally takes, or a rough estimate of when it might come in. He told me UPS normally arrives at about noon.(again rudely) I then said thank you and went straight for the Durham Book Exchange where I was able to pick up the book in minutes and the book was cheaper. Oh ya, and the book did not arrive at noon that day(what a surprise). Avoid at all cost.

The items in this store are often far too overpriced and it only worked for me in a pinch. I wouldnt recommend buying your college supplies here. Renting books is fine but just expect to wait nearly all day if you wait last minute to order them or pick them up. Take the time to use the the Portsmouth bus 4a or 4b and go to the Fox Run Mall to grab school supplies or the Walmart for UNH gear. Its alot cheaper by far.

Will find all the stationary stuff in the shops. Only the drawback is the UNH merchandises are way experience.

I decided not to get some books when I realized I could get them cheaper elsewhere, and the staff were pretty much A-holes about it, like seriously not nice.

They don’t actually price match, only textbooks sold directly from amazon (of which there are none) are accepted. Another way they squeeze the most money out of students possible.

Obviously a large selection for apparel, some items can be over priced. Very large selection of books, they can always get what youre looking for at a competitive price.

I only walked by, I didnt go in, I was there to juggle at the UNH juggling club. We meet every Monday at 7, usually on the 3rd floor, when classes are in session. Come stop buy and juggle sometime.

I was expecting a larger selection of clothing for a school the size of UNH. They have a large selection of supplies but the clothing section is definitely lacking and the nice stuff they have is very over priced.

There are only a few text books and those are very expensive even used ones.
