1. Hours listed online were incorrect by 2.5 hours. Online, it said the student store was open until 8:30 PM Saturday evenings. I arrived at 7 PM— it was completely shut down. Gates were pulled down and lights off. Apparently it closes at 6 PM on Saturdays now. There is a “summer hours” sign standing by the indoor entrance, just inside of the Bryan Center (see attached photo).2. Also, it says online that the store is open to the Public, but I had to use my Duke student ID card to get inside. Maybe the student store doors on the outside entrances, or the Bryan center entrance, are open to the public during the correct (summer) hours. If so, then there isn’t a future problem. Beware, however, that you might need a student ID card, with up to date COVID baseline testing on file to access the building—if you don’t have that and it is required, you will not get in to the building unless you tailgate in (which i advise against).So, to be clear—EVEN if you (1) have the vaccine and (2) have confirmed that vaccination is documented with Duke and (3) are a current Duke ID holder—you may STILL be blocked out of the Bryan Center. And thus you may be blocked from the student store too, since outdoor entrances have signs directing visitors to the inside entrance. To prevent a wasted trip, make sure you have recently completed a COVID test at a Duke testing location or spoken on the phone with someone in the store.3. Please update the current store hours and directions for accessing the store! I have included all relevant pictures to supplement this review. I know it changes more frequently given a transition from more severe pandemic-related limits in previous months. It is very useful though and will encourage not just visitors, alumni etc to come by, but also STUDENTS (who still face many barriers to accessing campus buildings).I will change this 1-star review to what is generally much better once I see the update :)

New student at Duke and I must say... its absolutely beautiful. I love every detail and attention they give to their businesses around campus!

Beautiful campus. Visitor parking is ok. Be prepared to not find a space. great store with lots of fairly price stuff.

If youre a fan of Duke university then this place is for you. Located at the welcome center right in the heart of the Central Campus. Clean facilities with a wheelchair accessible entrance. Plenty of parking, but you have to pay $2.00 an hour. T shirts, tank tops, and all other apparel. Reasonably priced. Nice Staff. Credit cards accepted. We will definitely be going back.

This is the place to get anything you ever wanted with the Duke University insignia. Shirts, caps, sweat pants, outerwear, innerwear, etc. Cant get more official than getting Duke University items at Duke University.

If you follow the Blue Devils, you must visit Duke and buy some memorabilia at the book store. A tremendous selection of clothing, gifts, books, etc. A beautiful campus offers an important insight into American privilege and culture. Go, Duke!

Can improve by having more options than the usual clothing and cups. Suit buttons are nice but only available in gold color. Silver color would be a good option.

A very nice campus. Visitors are welcome but buying Duke merchandise is a no go for viators or tourists.

Evrything is expensive, but is expected. A coffee cup is $18.00 just to give you an idea of prices.

Currently has a bunch of signs across campus and on their own windows directing you to the lobby store, saying it’s open. Then when you get there, you get yelled at because only employees are allowed in.

Beautiful campus! Rolling hills. The smell of pine, oak, and crape myrtle trees. Historic cobbled stone buildings. Yet like many prestigious universities, the feeling of insignificance as just another grain of sand on the sea shore in comparison to the many current and past students.

Every trip to Duke I go to the Duke store. I knock down everyone in my way to the downstairs clearance section. Great deals if you dont mind getting a class of 2005 shirt. Just kidding about the shirts, a real nice selection. As far as knocking people Ill be back in May so I hope Zion is not wearing cheap shoes in the store

Have to visit each time Im there. Huge selection of apparel. Prices are steep even in clearance, but the quality seems excellent. Service is outstanding.

Ordered a shirt for my grandson. They sent the wrong size. I called them and the woman that answered the phone was super helpful. She sent out the replacement shirt that morning and I received it the next day out in Arizona. Great customer service if you have a problem with your order.

Everything a Duke U lover could want. Massive selection is shirts, shorts, jackets and memorabilia. Friendly and helpful staff. Dont take your son or daughter to the University without stopping here. Note, its hard to find on GPS. Look for the small signs posted at the corners for guidance. If you are at the visitor center you are within walking distance.

This is the place to go if you love Duke University. It has merchandise for all sports. Blue Devil heaven.

Too much stock out at one time, and when youre trying to look at the clothing, they often would come off their hangers. Annoying...!! There are way too many rounders, you can hardly walk/move through them all. Customer service is good but could improve. Perhaps a little bit more interaction with the customers.

If youre ever looking for something specific even if its a few years old,ALWAYS check the lower level. Picked up several very hard to find items today. Couldnt believe it!

I placed an order for 2 shirts, shirt A and shirt B, on Nov 27, 2018. When the package arrived I found one of the shirts was not one I ordered. I got shirt A but a totally different one instead of shirt B. I sent the wrong shirt back and they sent me shirt A again, I have 2 of shirt A and no shirt B. I called the customer service line and they said they no longer had any of shirt B in stock and if I sent in on of the shirt As I would get refunded. They received the shirt on 1/8/19 and it is now 1/14/19 and I still have not gotten my money refunded. I called the customer service and the lady said they were getting slammed with returns from Christmas and they were falling behind. They would get to in as soon as they could. I am hoping before the end of the month. I would have expected more from a Duke supported store. It does not seem like this place is run very well. Next time I will give my business to the online store Fanatics instead.

What can I say, they sell nearly everything one would need for office/school supplies and if they are low and you need a special order, they have your back and will help get the amount you need. Dont forget to hit them up on Halloween for their annual Spooktacular sale with a discount of 31% off.
