Had an excellent experience at Rooms to Go in Durham, NC. I was in to buy a recliner to replace an older one that has seen better days. Our sales associate Diane was extremely knowledgeable, but most importantly, she was able to point me toward a chair that fit my needs far better than the one I was originally considering. Consultative sales for the win! As far as the furniture itself, time will tell in terms of quality manufacturing, long-term comfort, etc. but the buying experience was excellent and I really appreciated the help.

I had doubts - dealing with a large chain furniture store, but my in-store sales representative Diane disarmed any fears that I had. She was easy to work with. She understood my style preferences and made good suggestions. Her follow up in getting all of my purchases delivered at the same time and keeping me informed of delivery timeline was also greatly appreciated. The delivery team was timely, polite and efficient. We shared some quick laughs, but they were in and out without any problems, making the whole experience so much better than I could have imagined!

I came In to purchase my daughter a bedroom set. Although I had Already done my research he was still very helpful. I did not purchase my mattress but if I decide To use rooms to go I will Make my purchase with reza.

This is my 2nd time buying furniture at Rooms To Go. My last set lasted 10 years and it’s still kicking after I gave it all to my son and his wife. Tiffany M. was my salesperson and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfectly “suited to my shopping style” person to work with. She was very adept at anticipating my furnishing needs and did not put a lot of pressure on me to make decisions. She listened to my unique situation and pointed out the best solutions. Better than what I even thought I needed! I came there to try to not spend a lot of money but what I left with is a perfect blend of living room and bedroom furnishings that I am very happy with and can’t wait for the delivery! Ask for Tiffany when you shop at the Durham Rooms To Go! The management was also very nice and personable.

After considerable shopping and comparisons, Rooms to Go has much better quality and much lower prices than any other home furnishing store I could find in the area. Certainly much better than Ashley. I’ve bought furniture here before and it’s held up really well over several years. I’m shopping for a new piece recently and this still seems like the best place to buy affordable quality furniture. Delivery is affordable, but watch out. Last time the delivery men took a chunk out of my door frame and CS refused to do anything about it. Were it not for this incident, I’d give them five stars.

Diane provided great service and helped me and my friend find a great couch for my living room! I have been wanting one for awhile and had an idea what I wanted, but she helped steer us in the right direction. It really helps to go in and sit on all of the couches to see what you want. You may think you know what you want, but you may change your mind when you go in and sit on all of the different options. I loved the selection at this store, and the setup was great. We had great service and the sales person was able to find what we wanted as opposed to what they wanted to sell us. We were not pressured to buy more or add on unwanted/unneeded extras. The store was clean and the parking was plentiful when we went there.

Horrible experience. We bought a couch over a month ago and the delivery was delayed for 3 weeks (which was fine). When the couch was finally delivered they brought one correct piece and one piece for a completely different couch (type and color). Figured they would call us and bring the correct piece back, but nothing happened. We waited a week, then when we called them, calls dropped, so had to keep calling until finally someone answered and they said that piece would not become available for another 3 weeks. When I tried to message them via their chat function to say it wasnt acceptable, they disconnected the chat twice. This is the worst customer experience Ive ever had in buying furniture and will recommend to other to avoid this company.Im still sitting on half a couch when we paid for the full thing.

Diane from the Durham, NC Rooms To Go was great to work with! She gave recommendations and wonderful options to go with the living room furniture we picked out. She took the time to explain the warranties, what was covered, how to claim anything that needs to be fixed and how to get the best use out of the unlimited supply of fabric cleaner they give you. Will absolutely shop there and with Diane again, when needed.

Diane was such a pleasure to work with! Incredibly patient, thoughtful, and knowledgeable. Ill be honest, this review isnt really for Rooms to Go, its for LaDwann. My best friend/neighbor were shopping for furniture. We live on each side of a duplex, so our space is exactly the same, just in reverse. It is a small space with a lot of obstacles (fireplace, doors, vents, windows), so its hard to get anything that fits. We felt a little overwhelmed and burnt out on furniture shopping, but LaDwann, from the moment we walked in, was nothing but kind, helpful, patient, knowledgeable, funny, and friendly. She never once got annoyed by our 100000 questions or mind changes or the fact that we had so many restrictions on what we could buy. We both wound up with exactly what we wanted, are so happy with our decisions, and know that a huge part of our success in this venture was because of the help and support we got with LeDwann. Buying furniture is a huge commitment and she really understands and respects that. We never felt like we were being sold. We both felt like LeDwann was really trying to be our partner in finding exactly what we wanted.Thank you, LeDwann! Now we just need to find your chair ;)

My overall visit at the Rooms To Go on 4144 Durham Chapel Hill Blvd in Durham NC was awesome and painless. Chris made sure my experience and also my friend’s experience was nothing less than pleasant. First thing when we walked into the store Chris Ayscue greeted us very nicely, he let us know that we can call him when we have a question. We walked through the store and we found the living room set that we like Chris explain everything so clearly and accurately, he also help us find a perfect mattress and a bed frame that we need. In store experience was good. Our salesperson Michelle Delaney was great. Our bedroom set, mattress and dining table set was delivered when scheduled. They sent the wrong headboard, a handle on the chest was missing screws, two pillows were missing, three of the dining chairs had some damage. My husband went to the store to request replacements. The store representative was very helpful. We are supposed to get replacements this Thursday.

Worst experience EVER, twice.My husband and I purchased a mattress, box springs and bed frame, and pillows, took 3 different deliveries and us going to pick up the bed frame.Our daughter needed to new bedroom suit, beautiful set and sturdy. Delivery, Ha, another joke and wasted day and had to reschedule for Sunday delivery. Excuse after excuse. Do not recommend RTG, we won’t be shopping there again.

My husband and I went to the Durham, NC store and were very impressed with the service, layout, quality, and quantity in the store. Jared was the sales manager that assisted us. He was very friendly, easy to talk to, very knowledgeable, answered all of our question, etc. He also rearranged furniture so we could find the right pieces for our living room. He worked personally with us for hours. He left us to be when we needed him to and on the opposite side was there when we needed him to be. He has a good eye for detail as well!!! Jared gave us the information that we wanted even before asking most of the time! I would highly recommend Rooms to Go and if in Durham, Jared!!!

Diane is an amazing sales person. She let me know she was there to help me but I did not feel pressure at all from her. It took me a couple weeks to make a decision but I came back to see Diane and made the purchase.

Do not purchase anything from Rooms to go. I cannot stress that enough. My Mother-in-law purchased my daughter a trundle bed from this place. It arrived and was installed damaged. You heard that right, they installed it damaged. So we called their number and they said they would send another one. Two weeks later it shows up and installed, guess what.....also completely damaged. Clearly this bed is not new, it has cracks all over it, scratches, etc... It definitely doesnt look like a $2,000 bed. You can get a better quality bed at a much cheaper price off of sites like Wayfair. At this point we are fed up and want to return the bed completely. Guess what? No return policy. If you buy something in the store, you CANNOT return it once it is delivered to you even if it was shipped damaged to you! Talk about a scam. Please, save yourself money and so many headaches and do not purchase from this company. I plan on going to the store tomorrow to try and get them to do something about this. I will update this post if Rooms to Go actually has any customer service but I wouldnt hold your breath.

Bought and paid for furniture Jan 7th 2021. Was promised I’d have it all delivered by the first of March. I got half of my furniture and it was damaged but now they can’t get me the rest of my furniture. Now the Manager Sean and the sales Lady Dianna tell me if I return it to the store myself that I will only get partial refund for the pieces I did not receive. When I called corporate office in Fla they support the local stores decision. You can’t trust ROOMS TO GO The managers or the sales people or at least not at this store. I can’t even get a return phone call. I’m lucky I paid with my debit card and I will reverse the charges. Then I bet they will call back or get my furniture delivered. I’m convinced that most of the good reviews are fake
