Visited the place for document verification.The lady at the desk was very friendly and helpful. The verification was quick and efficient.

Went in for a passport picture for my baby. This was the only place I found where someone was knowledgeable in doing infant passport pictures for a non-US (Canadian) passport. The lady helping me (wish I remembered her name) made sure everything was correct. When their printer unexpectedly failed, she offered to send my pictures to the nearby Walgreens. But because I had my baby with me and by that time I needed to get home, she offered to MAIL the pictures to me at no charge. The pictures arrived UPS within a few days. Packaging Express made this otherwise difficult task much easier. Thank you!

Very convenient and user-friendly store and experience. I had to print a ton of documents (total of about 200 pages) to mail for work. The team here, with the online ordering system, made this very easy and stress-free, far easier than trying to print such a large quantity on my home printer or even at the office. The job was ready and in order by the next morning, as promised.I will be packing up to move soon and will definitely be back for moving supplies and boxes, since they have seem to have everything here related to packing/shipping you could possibly need.

Staff is really nice, but when I pulled up I saw no one was wearing a mask. As I approached, the person helping me did put on a mask, but the two other people in the (small) store did not put on their masks. This is when I was inside the business. It is a small space, and this did not feel safe to me. Please, at a minimum, ask ALL employees to put on masks when you are helping people.

Really efficient and organized service. We needed some documents to be notarized in a very specific way and they were easily able to accommodate with forms they had on file ready to go.The rates we got here for UPS shipping was the same as directly from UPS would have been, and they simplified the process so much. Additionally, they have many things that are great little gift items. We were surprised and impressed with the service and offerings here and wont be likely to go to the UPS store in the future when we can just come here instead.

I love this little store!! I always take my packages to them because they are always so cheerful and happy. I love the little gifts they have as well i always end up buying something when i go!!

The staff here took my pre-paid, labeled UPS package for me after I drove around in vain for 30 minutes looking for a UPS Dropbox that isn’t where UPS says it is. They were super friendly, all wearing masks, and I appreciated their help so much. Even though I wasn’t a paying customer, they were kind and extremely helpful. Thank you so much! This will definitely be where I do any future mailing/packaging business.

The staff at Packaging Express were friendly and attentive. The pricing to ship a package is incredibly expensive and you’re definitely paying a premium for convenience. For a package that would fit in a USPS Large flat rate box and cost $13 to ship, I paid almost $24. I completely understand the need to make a profit, but the markup is too high to obtain my future shipping business.

The ideal extension of the home office / they can print scan shop notarize and I always find fun other things to pick up. Love the people there, have gone there since they opened.

Great place to get something notarized. Only costs $5 per stamp. Staff is always friendly.

They are way overpriced. To ship the same package with the same things in it at USPS is 1/3 the cost. I didn’t feel like driving back to USPS so I went to them, and now I feel price gouged. I understand making a profit, but charging 3x the cost is astronomical. Also they charge $1 to put a piece of tape on your package. USPS gives you the tape for free.

This is a well run packaging store. The employees are very competent and helpful. I often have custom made boxes for shipping and they go a great job. The woman who runs the front desk is extremely nice and accommodating.

I utilized Packaging Express for their printing services when printing a research poster. Their pricing was incredibly affordable and they told me the printing would take two days max - my poster was done in less than a day! Even better, the quality was above my expectations. Everyone in the store was extremely kind and inviting. I look forward to utilizing Packaging Express for more print and shipping services in the future!

I love this family owned store. They have helped me many times over the years with shipping and materials, printing, notary, passport photos, and more. They also carry a good selection of greeting cards, funny magnets, hard candy and small gifts.

Great staff and very helpful. The little gifts, cards and packing goods in the store are great and at many times, has been a lifesaver! Only downside is that I am not sure what the markup is on the cost of using a small “mom and pop” shipping store.

The crew here is fantastic. I worked with September to ship off extremely time sensitive documents through a partner program that uses NC Packaging. September helped me navigate and understand the process and requirements, and even stayed a bit after close to ensure that everything got out in time and I had the information I needed. I had a very chaotic and stressful day and was very frazzled and frustrated when I walked in the door but September was extremely friendly and patient. It really meant a lot. Friendly people, good service. About what youd expect, but the do have a very wide selection of boxes. Boxes are expensive, but if you need an unusual shape they might have it

I had several old laptops to return to my corporate office (with no boxes) and I was certain it was going to be difficult. They made it so simple and even packed the boxes for me. Great service and very reasonable pricing. I will definitely use them I the future.

I just adore this place. The staff is so helpful, and they have so many fun things to look at. They are quick and efficient, and would go to them any day over the post office! Highly recommend them to anyone.

The team at NC Packaging Express is great at big and little things. When my father passed away, they picked up, packaged, shipped and managed logistics for his beautiful belongings to go to children and grandchildren across the country. It was not a simple job, and everything arrived in perfect shape. Kudos to this group!UPDATE TO REVIEW ON 11/1/2019: By no fault of Packaging Express, I had two tables arrive with damage after a cross-country trip. I got the tables repaired and asked if insurance would pay for the repair. I received a check days later to cover it, and Packaging Express is taking care of the rest. Best mail store Ive been to.The ladies politely and patiently helped me mail out a bunch of pictures all over the country. Polite, competent, and very helpful. Excellent customer service. They were upfront from the beginning about the price of what/how I was asking to mail the pictures, which I really appreciated. Then, when I asked for some sheets of paper to protect the pictures they said sure and found some no worries. Unlike your typical franchise model mail store, they were helpful, polite, knowledgeable, upfront, provided little things like paper to help without nickel and diming me, and actually typed the address in the system to be printed without me having to fill out a form. Great experience. Sure, it costs money to mail things, but I was very happy with the service and since I was going to spend it anyway, it was great to spend it on an independent shop that is well run. Keep up the good work.

They have the best customer service out of any office/shipping store I have ever been to. I go to them for all of my office/shipping needs (shipping, special copying, passport photos, visa photos, special printing, etc.). They are extremely patient, knowledgeable, and really willing to help. Ive had to prepare foreign visa documents and passport documents several times, which always starts out seeming a daunting process. However, when I go to them and explain any assistance I need, they have been so willing to help. Its really amazing. I highly recommend them for any shipping or office-related needs.

We had a piece of lab equipment to hand deliver that needed a large void filled in an oversized box and they came through in a big pinch. Was in and out of there in a matter of minutes. Excellent service, courteous and awesome price. Highly recommended!

Awesome service. I wasnt even buying anything, just dropping off a box for FedEx and I was treated nice. A woman cheerfully greeted me and took my box from me as soon as I walked through the door. I was out of there in less than 10seconds.

I go here semi-regularly to ship things, but just went in to have a passport photo taken and shipped. Not only was it quick, Cole, who assisted me, made sure all of my paperwork was in order and pretty much took care of the entire process for me! Beyond exceptional customer service!

I have been using Packaging Express at 4711 Hope Valley Rd, Durham for about 15 years. All my mailings have been to South America, be it Peru, Argentina, Brazil. Not one package has gone astray.....I even sent a China tea set.....not one chip or crack, everything arrived in mint condition.The people at Packaging Express know what they are doing and they are always polite, fast and friendly, so say nothing of efficient.And they are nearby, what else would I want?C. I needed to have items shipped. They needed to be wrapped and were somewhat bulky, but not heavy and fit into two medium/large boxes. Nothing unusual, nothing thats difficult to pack. The lady came back with a price of over $500 to pack and ship those items. Sure, these places need to make a profit, but this place is beyond all reason. Their markups seem to be several hundred percentage points over cost. Just run from this place. I was able to find another local place to pack and ship my items for under $200, so that tells you how crazy their prices are.

The customer service I receive at this store is exceptional! While I wasputting the finishing touches on a new business card the staff helped mewith ideas and small graphics and charged me nothing extra for theirexpertise and creativity.

Super nice employees, but like many stated previously the prices are outrageous it seems. Not only that but its like they take your package/ fax from you and after everything is completed theyll tell u the price. Nonetheless it is what it is 4/5

Pete packaged a pinball machine for me . I worked at allied van lines as a packer and mover. His skill blew me away. I know the shipping business. The time and effort he put in. Trust me . This is the company you need !
