Good product and initial installation several years back, but getting individual shades and motors serviced or replaced has repeatedly been difficult and time-consuming, with numerous follow-up calls required from me. Theyve been disorganized and seemed very understaffed for the large territory they cover. Not a one-time problem, but an ongoing difficulty with service and maintenance every time. It didnt help that when I would drop by the store to find out what was taking so long, the owner liked to talk about the latest, huge, new order they were installing in Telluride. I didnt want to have to switch companies for service, but doing so made my life easier.

The entire staff (owner, office personnel & installers) were wonderfully knowledgeable, answering all of my numerous questions. Likewise, the job execution was ever so smooth (on-time, efficient, careful, tidy). I couldnt have asked for a more professional job from start to finish. Every window in my home received a face lift; old drapery throughout was discarded & replaced with beautiful blinds, even a massive, two-story window! Thank you, Custom Window Coverings, Inc.! Good product at a fair price. Customer service lacking. After first order was installed and I had a concern, I was berated on the phone by (who I believe) to be an owner. Placed an order a year later only because I felt the need to match product with the caveat I would not have to deal with owner. Was hounded monthly to place my order and once I did, I never got 1 follow up call as delivery dragged on. Finally got product, installation good but installers left windows a mess (14’ window in a stairwell). Was advised by the woman who harangued me to place my order, that they always clean up after install and they would be in touch to schedule window clean....and that was that. Never heard from them again. I played nice in order to get this done and over with but face it - these are just window blinds, you can get them from anyone. And I suggest you do just that.

They answered all of my questions and made helpful suggestions. They also kept in touch when we had a family emergency and had to reschedule. Very helpful, excellent communication, great customer service, and follow up.

We have two irregularly shaped windows in a newly built home. They are trapezoidal in shape, and we were concerned whether or not we could get coverings that were both functional and aesthetically pleasing.
