With my first oil change for my NEW diesel truck, I called to verify a couple of the service standards for Morehart. I asked if they routinely topped off the DEF fluid and if the oil they used was synthetic (as recommended by GMC). The service manager said they usually top off the DEF if it is less than 1/2 (which mine was) and that he thought that the oil they put in was synthetic. My DEF wasnt topped off and I expect a lot more than a guess when I ask technical questions about the fluids used in my $75K truck from a dealership. Not what I had in mind from a professional grade team as advertised by GMC.

So my issue with the charger on my vehicle came with is still happening. I did everything on my end ( set charge to 80% ) the screen says unable to charge. I can’t use other charger outlet in town to get my vehicle charged. We live in a rural area there’s basically 2 options to charge the super charger or home charger. My vehicle is dead if you don’t find and fix the problem.

Horrible customer service. I was on the phone with someone trying to get an estimate on the price range of my Jeep and the man I was talking to hung up on me mid sentence and told me to have a good day. Definitely do not recommend this dealership over the other dealerships in Durango.

I was traveling from Chandler Arizona to Creede Colorado. When we approached Durango my 2016 Tahoe would not move upon acceleration after a stop. RPM would increase but vehicle would not move. After 30 minutes of vehicle being off we were able to drive it to 2 miles to Morehart Murphy. They called me on Wednesday that they had done a full inspection and found nothing wrong. I picked it up Thursday to make the drive home. After 255 highway miles, when I stopped to exit the highway, the vehicle again would not move. This time it would not accelerate at all, even after 1 hour sitting on the highway. I had to pay $440 to tow from Holbrook, AZ to a Chapman Chevy dealer in Payson, AZ. In one day they notified me my transmission fluid had metal in it and I needed a new transmission. I truly believe I could have possibly avoided this costly repair if I had not continued a mountainous drive home had the issue been identified by Morehart Murphy. I still dont understand with the issues I described how they did not have the same findings that Chapman found just a day later.

Yeah initial greeting was outstanding and the feeling were great. I drop my car off 9ish and well was told possibly they can get to my car, which the feelings were okay its a warranty ticket so sure. But when checking on progress around one, the gentleman said someone would call me back. I got no call and decided to just return and ask in person. My answer to the warranty issue, they had none. Im a bit disappointed but but I will give them another chance to redeem themselves on a future visit.

I was on vacation when my check engine light came on, had a pretty good idea what the issue was, but being as though I was pulling a 33 5th wheel through the mountains I wanted to be sure. All I wanted them to do was scan the issue to verify the problemThey could not take 5 minutes of their time to do this for someone on vacation. This was on a Wednesday, they had time for me to come back on Monday. I took it to Good Year who were also VERY busy and they scanned it right away and saved our vacation. Thank you Good Year. I would not recommend Morehart Chevy to anyone!

They did a great job - my only negative was that GM (still cant believe you did this) would allow a very well equipped LTZ truck to go out with no garage door opener integrated into the vehicle. It is absolutely amazing that you would allow something so inexpensive to create such a disappointment in the eyes of a new customer. Very poor customer experience management on this one guys.

Brought my car in for service from 60 miles away. I had already discussed the issues with a tech on the phone and he ordered parts a week before my appt. After sitting in the lobby for 2 hrs, a tech came in and told me it was going to be the end of the day before my car was done. They hadnt even started on it yet. I asked for a loaner vehicle so I could run some errands instead of sitting there for 4 more hours and was told there were none available but they could call a shuttle for me. I could only have one ride out and one ride back. I ended up taking it downtown, having a long lunch and walking around the town, then getting the shuttle back to the dealership, which is on the outskirts of the town with no amenities. Not even a magazine or refreshments in the lobby. Not a bad experience--just inconvenient. Had I known it would take that long, I would have made other arrangements.

We took our truck in for warranty work. The leak was covered but the coolant problem that had been an issue for over a year could not be covered under the warranty because too much time had passed and it was covered under a shorter term than we were aware of. There were 2-3 recalls on the truck that were not addressed while the truck was there getting fixed for the warranty work so since we live an hour away and use the truck for work we had to take it without the recalls fixed /: We have bought 4-5 vehicles thru Morehart when Larry worked there but we will not likely be return buyers because of our last three experiences there not being positive in our opinion.

We were in Durango for a vacation, our transmission started spewing fluid all over when going up the mountain. Morehart mechanics had us back on the road without any problems in a few days. We made it back home without issues. Thank you for your hard work and kind receptionist, they made a heck of a difference when we were worried we were going to have to replace the whole transmission.

Could not ask for a better team of car maintenance for my car. The clerks and mechanics are just the best. They always check with me to ask if there is another problem and let me decide whether or not to continue with the work. As a woman I appreciate there kindness and knowledge about my vehicle. We stopped by and found a car that we really liked, a Tahoe. We worked a great deal and everything was going smoothly. When it was time to see the financial guy he informed us that we had made such a wonderful deal that he needed us to purchase the loan through him so that he could gets a kickback on the financial parts. When I told him that I was not willing to do so because I already had a loan secured with a great interest rate he informed me is that the deal could no longer be worked unless I was willing to take his financial Institution with the interest rate of 4.99 which was way higher than what I had secured. He told me I only had to do it for 45 days but when I told him I was not willing to do that he told me there was no longer a deal. So basically we spent 2 and a 1/2 hours in there trying to secure a deal on a car and then were told at the last minute that because we had secured financial arrangements in a different arena then they were no longer going to work with us. Not a place that we will be going back to. No problem as Stevinson Chevrolet in Lakewood Colorado got our business and I LOVE my new Tahoe.

My family was traveling for vacation from Arkansas and my 2015 Chevy 2500 was loosing power. I took my truck to their service department on a Tuesday. I was told that the DEF system has to be replaced and that it would be the following Tuesday before my truck would be ready. I told Ben thy we were only staying in Durango through Friday. He said that he would see what he could do. Long story short, they found what we needed at a dealership in Albuquerque and sent someone to get it and had my truck fixed and running by Friday so we were able to leave for the Grand Canyon. And warranty paid for everything. I would absolutely give 5 stars to the service department for helping my family and I on our vacation.

We went to this dealership when on a month long driving trip and needed the oil changed on our Buick Enclave. We arrived on a Tues morning to see if it was possible to have our oil changed. The service dept told us if we would leave it until Friday, he might could get to it. Our vehicle has only been serviced at dealerships and on this trip we had a headlight replaced at the Buick dealership in Rapid City, SD, and the oil changed and car serviced at St. George, UT by very customer service oriented dealerships. The service manager here recommended going to Walmart! Awful service and I would not recommend going here!

Terrible! No communication whatsoever. On vacation for 3 wks in hesperus. Took my vehicle in to get serviced for ac compressor. Now I understand warranty coverage and paperwork takes time but time frame given was dropoff on thursday and monday tuesday it would be ready. Waited and waited no calls whatsoever!! Wednesday came around and I finally called. My vehicle was never touched to be worked on. No one ever called me and said there was a hold up regarding warranties! As soon as I was told called and got warranty approved. It has been 2 wks since I dropped my vehicle off. Needless to say spent 2wks out of 3wks of vacation without a vehicle. I recieved one phone call the entire time and it was to inform me warranty was approved. But I already knew that because I called and pushed it through!! Called the day after it was scheduled to be ready and they said it wasnt ready. Was informed it would be done midday. No calls. Called about 1pm they said it would be done about 3 and I would receive a call at 2 to confirm. No phone call!! I arrive at 3 pm.. It is now close to closing time and Ive waited here for over an hr and half with 5 children and the service center keeps saying 20mins. Almost done. Then they said they ran out of freon and it has to be taken up the hill to charge! Very irritated!

I bought a brand new 2017 Subaru Outback. I feel SO SICK in it, especially with the AC on. I hate the car. Also this dealership is not accommodating to people with special needs. Worst dealership EVER. They took 6 weeks to send out my title and no one told me it would not go to my address, instead it is being held at the post office. I truly hate this dealership. Nothing but major problems and hassles. DONT BUY A CAR FROM HERE.

Not customer focusedMy two 2018 Chevys had recalls, already not happy about that. I dropped one off during the week and tried to pick it up when completed on a Saturday. Not possible. I could not even drop off the second car on a Saturday. The lady told me there was no one that could check it in. I drove 45 minutes into town. Some people cannot always get to town weekdays. The lame dealership cannot even accept AMX for payment.
