One of the biggest Kroger supermarket in Atlanta. The store is so spacious. This store sells many products and that too some of them at good discounted rate. They have good collection of Wine. They also have a small Asian bar which serves some Asian foods. The customer service is awesome. They also sell good varieties of cakes. Their Deli section is also very good. Compared to other Kroger stores I have visited this Kroger store sells more varieties of products. They also have allocated an area where you can relax and have food.
I love this target. They have a great pharmacy, fruit is always fresh and service is great. Today “D” checked me out and he was overly friendly which was amazing. I have a newborn and while he was checking out he made great conversation plus ensured that we were good to make it to the car. Great exceptional service!
I rarely write reviews but just wanted to share my experience here. I had a hand basket with ab 5 items in it and when I got to the register the lady told me “I’m in a good mood, so I won’t ask you to empty this, but normally I would require you to” like HUH? It’s 5 items and it’s already on the belt, was very weird and I won’t be coming back.
One the best of the best Kroner store Ive ever been to. I lived in many states and I have always shopped at Kroger, but this store is the best so far. Employees are very nice, polite, and respectful. Prices are decent. Every time I shop there I spend anywhere between 80 and one hundred dollars. I could get the same products at Walmart little bit cheaper and save 10 to 15b bucks over all but money isnt everything. Walmart employees are often rude and you cant find then when you need them and when you do chances are theyre gonna be clueless about their store. Ive experienced this myself. On the contrary, most of Kroger employees know and can direct you correctly to where you need to go.
This Kroger is very close to me however they never have simple things like chicken breast, bacon, almond milk coffee creamer, simple seasonings, etc. I thought they ran out of items due to the pandemic but after coming here for over a year, I think it’s the norm. I just go to the Kroger at Jett Ferry or Chamblee Tucker
I couldn’t find their store brand bagels and the associate that helped me actually WALKED me to where they were. Great service thanks
The store manager (I think---the lady in yellow, with the blue apron), and the rest of the late night staff are all usually super here, especially given how late Kroger stays open.I wish the location were slightly more convenient (for some reason, I always end up missing the sign, and go right past it..). And I wish they carried more of the specific items on my regular shopping list.Everytime I make it in, they always seem to have the best random stuff on special though. And other than either not stocking, or perhaps being out of, my fav cereals---the overall selection on everything else is pretty satisfactory.
I didnt know cashiers could be so rude. laughed at for not meeting the small print requirements of the coupon. called a cockroach. asked for help finding a product. was nearly out of stock, which is why i had such a difficult time finding it. i was told to go to the section of the store which carries the item and laughed at. i couldnt find it there. thats the reason i asked. not because i was looking to be mocked and insulted.
This kroger is ok. Its been better since they reorganized some of the isles and upgraded the crispers. However the inventory is inconsistent. Sometimes they have certain brands and products but other times they dont. It would be great if they kept items in stock.
I previously put a one star review here, must have been a mistake while opening google maps. This store was excellent! Would recommend coming anytime of year, they had thanksgiving items when no one else did.
Things in Dunwoody change over time, but this Kroger has been consistent over the past 30-40 years. Parking may be a bit of an issue at times, but the store is very conveniently located at the intersection of I-285 and Chamblee-Dunwoody Rd. The store is clean, the staff helpful, prices are ok-comparable with most major supermarkets. Decent selection of Kosher and Vegan/Vegetarian options.
Disappointed. The shelves have been empty for most items. Haven’t seen full shelves since I recently moved to the area. Cashiers are rude and pack badly. When I asked them to be more careful he back talked and said it was my fault. Really?!
Wife and I do most of our shopping here and always feel welcome. All of the staff is great. Special shout out to Angela. She always takes the time to say hello and asks us how we are doing. Much appreciated all the hard work to all. Please bring back UTZ Salt and Vinegar Chips. Thanks
This is my neighborhood store, so Im surprised by how many times I’ve shopped here there are usually always only 1-3 out of 8 registers open besides self-service and oftentimes there’s no baggers to help so I end up bagging myself. It seems like management would be better staffed to help assist with the long lines....
I drive past a Kroger to go to this one. It has everything.
Kroger pickup is awful! i am mad at myself for using it after the first incident of items missing that were rung up and charged for on my receipt. Honestly missing a gallon of milk, celery, and $9 lunch meat and 24 pack of water All On REciept and paid for. god knows what eles is have been scammed for. Called 5 times only to get hung up on with no help in was told I can just come back and pick them up. NO i want my money back and I want other shoipers to beware!
Never been to Krogers till a few days ago. It was not bad experience and had decent deals.
I’m shocked about the quality of the fresh produce foods at this particular Kroger’s. I wish I could post pictures of the fruit and vegetables I purchased there and I took picture of while I was there. The grapes was shriveled up to the point I sure it would be better served as grape wine. My niece picked up a bag of lemons and I took it home I realized half of the bag was rotten, one was starting to mold. Walmart have 10x better quality fresh produce.
Lately, they have a problem with keeping products in stock. They have dropped several items they used to carry.
Pickup orders are consistently late. The app will tell you an order is ready, but when you get there you are told it will be another hour or more. If the order was late that’s not generally a problem (stuff happens), but the app should not tell you it’s ready! Either the system is telling customers that the order is ready based only on the selected time (which is a poorly designed system), or the employees are being told to mark orders as ready when they are not actually picked. Either is unacceptable.
Because of the managing pharmacist, Joanna, we too use this store for our groceries. Joanna is always cheerful and friendly and very helpful whenever we have any questions. She also initiates help with insurance and at times when her pharmacy did not have a medicine we needed quickly, she called around the area and found another Kroger pharmacy that did have it in stock for us.
This store is always out of all my favorites but they do have friendly cashiers and store is clean.
Thank you for being open until midnight
I just left and I want to bring the spot light on the cashier that was there tonight Alex S. If Alex is not in a supervisor or manager role please consider him immediately! I have been going to this Kroger since 2014 and Alex by far was the best employee. Alex not only greated the customers, he was very personable and knew the products that Kroger was selling. He checked me out and bagged my groceries. You may think this happens all the time with an employee bagging you up but its very rare there. 90% of the time I bag myself up which is a bit harder for me because I have medical issues with my hands. Who ever hired Alex did the right thing because any company including my company would hire him right away !
Good sized, and always well stocked! The meat section is top notch and the butchers know what they are doing more than most other butcher shops I have been to.
This is my closest kroger store. Ive shopped here for almost a decade. They usually have what I need in stock and are reasonable when I have to deal with a human, but service has declined over the last few years. When they started offering curbside pickup I jumped at the opportunity. Unfortunately, it has really been hit or miss. Tonight I logged that I was there on their website, 15 minutes later I get an email saying my order has been cancelled. Tried calling the store, no one answers. Last straw for me. Ill be driving past this kroger to another grocery store further away that treats its customers better.
Horrific pickup experience. Arrived at 7:45 to pick up order. Called and let them know that I had 2 orders and was told they’d be out in 10 mins. Waited over 30 before calling back and letting a an attendant I had no received my order. After an hour of waiting I got my orders and they were barley filled. No attempts to even substitute items that were unavailable were made. When I called to speak to a mgr I was only able to speak to a lead who then told me that they didn’t know I was out here in the cold wasting gas when it was the furthest thing from the truth. I’d called 3 times and told an attendant. He also implied I should be happy because I practically got groceries for free because I had a 10 dollar credit. A credit I was given because on my previous order I was given produce that expired that same day. I told them to at least try and substitute the items. It’s now 9:25 and I am just leaving. AWEFUL!
I always find 3 out of 10 items Im shopping for....Waste of time speaking with Manager......Go to Jett Ferry Kroger instead.Staff lazy, rude, and dumb.
Excellent customer service and everyone is always so helpful. The only thing that concerns me with this Kroger are the expired items I find on some of my visits. I normally always check dates, so it is a habit for me. I have purchased a few of the items and have also taken items up front once I see they are expired. On my most recent trip in April 2018, I found veggie burgers that were discounted. Checked the date on one and then decided I wanted to try another kind. Returned home only to see the expiration date of September 2017. This has happened with pepperoni, humus, and chips at this store. They need better enforcement of night stocking/expiration compliance.
THANK YOU Joanna A., in Pharmacy! She was SO kind, professional and attentive to my meds!A true asset to your organization! Thank You!
Drew the store manger @ Chamblee Dunwoody Road Atlanta Ga, is not at all a professional and the worst store manager I have come in contact in many years shopping at Kroger. He most times:has not done his home work (quite often)say no before the inquiry/question has been askednot friendly and has a aggressive behaviorI am going to say that he should not be working with the public because he seems to not have the skill set to do so.
Good as any Kroger, although their sushi options are slightly better and the store is cleaner overall. Customer service area is above and beyond great the few times Ive had to go there for help, and everything is usually well stocked aside from the holidays but thats to be expected. Checking out is easy and efficient. Main reason theyre rated well is because the deli carries Boars Head beef salami, my favorite.
Never anyone to bag groceries and when I bag them on my own I had to ask the cashier to turn the belt on so I could reach them and he still didnt help while I was paying, he just watched me bag them. On 6/23 I was approached by a man begging for money inside the store and then another one in the parking lot so this store maybe needs some security so people can shop in peace. The only reason I come to this location is because I work in a residential facility. I would never come here if I wasnt being paid to. On 8/3 they were completely out of SHOPPING CARTS and I had to hunt my own down in the parking lot. On any given day that I have shopped here there are typically only about 10 small carts and two large carts in the vestibule. At ANY OTHER Kroger I go to, there are close to 100 available carts at any given time, so this store is obviously very mis managed. Also, while my Kroger has been very well stocked, this store never ever is.
Meh. Prices are better than the local Publix, but not better than Amazon Fresh for most things I buy. The store has been on a downward trend for some time. They added additional rows, making the isles narrower - and then placed stand-alone displays down each one. (so much for social distancing). But, less things have sale pricing. It feels like every open square inch has items designed for impulse buy temptations, but good luck getting assistance at the help desk, or having a bagger help at checkout. Oh, and they now charge a fee for cash back from your debit card...
Have had to bag my own groceries at least 80%of the time I shop here because Kroger is too cheap and stingy to even consider hiring enough baggers. Theres always one bagger trying to juggle at least 2, sometimes 3, checkout lanes which is laughably impossible to keep up with. If it wasnt that the prices here are lower than most places I would never shop here
Scheduled a grocery pick-up with a mandatory wait time of two days. I arrive during my scheduled pick-up time and my order was not ready. I call an hour and a half later, and its STILL not ready and a time frame was not provided. Thats ridiculous. The woman who answered the phone was abrupt no matter how polite I tried to be. I called the Corporate office and they arent helpful either. I requested a refund in which I will closely monitor. The Mgr should be ashamed that his name is tied to that kind of service. Ill never shop there again.
There was nice lady working at the self check out registers. Didnt see her today tho. I needed help to verify my ID. This new one didnt pay attention to us at all and later came to us but rude !!! She cant talk or didnt learn how to say hi to the customers. Why dont you guys let her go?Good groceries but dumb and ignorant worker at the registers.
I have shopped at this Kroger for many years. Lately it has not been stocked as well as it once was.It is still a good store but I don’t like the layout as well.
Always a mixed bag coming here-erratic stocking-employees who both love and hate their job-managers who are either super helpful or in too much of a rush to careThey are getting better.....I think. Time will tell.
Don’t use the online pick-up! I waited for two hours for my order. They keep you trapped in the parking lot, since they won’t let you cancel the order and then tell you they’ll call you back when it’s ready. They won’t tell you when it will be ready either. Total disaster of an experience. Shame!
Over last 4 years store has gone from great, to bad, to fair. Today I went to drop off script (very friendly), to pick up a few things and grab something for lunch. I tried the new artisan subs. Specialty bread advertised? We dont have those - only white or wheat. Cost the same. Bread was stale. Buffalo chicken was sliced deli meat. Yuck. Olive Bar, gone. Nice selection of soups, gone. Meat cutter always broken. Cold pressed juice, gone. Blueberries, moldy - again. Bakery, slim choices. So sad Sprouts closed. Gotta find a new store.
I Love Chamblee Dunwoody Kroger very much With Costumers And New People All Around the world I Love Forgieners They Are Special. They Love Americans Not Killing Them, They Respected Each other With 100% Im Gonna Translate into English. Get Know Jesus Better Im going to be a Great Teacher 😇😇😇😇😇😇
This Kroger is one of the good ones. I have to drive a little farther to get to it as it isnt the closest to my house. Great friendly staff, always helpful and kind. The shelves are stocked, sale items arent impossible to find. Any time I can choose to go to this Kroger, I do.
Shop there because I live across the street. Staff could be a little more friendly and welcoming particularly to customers who frequent their store 3 to 4 times a week. There are times where no one says boo to me. Im all about convenience so I overlook that grievance. (Just read other comments. They rave about how friendly it is. Must be me!!)
I signer up for an online reservation for a flu shot. Then I get here, they tell me its going to take 30 minutes because they have to process the paperwork. Which is the same amount of time for someone who just walked up randomly to the counter to take it.
Kroger is clean and well lit. They have a good variety of groceries. They have a decent seafood selection, both fresh and frozen. Nice meat and vegetables selections. The only thing missing is a deli.
Convenient, great deli, and wine selection!
This Kroger has a really good wine selection...multiple aisles. It doesnt have as many Kroger brand items as Ive seen at other locations. But the staff is always nice, the store is clean, and theres always available parking. And in addition to their deli, bakery and hot food bar, they also have an Asian bar where you can get sushi, soup, rice, noodles, meats, egg rolls and spring rolls.
Sep 10, just left there, live store the street for over 18 years, 2 female staffs at the check out area, white lady was worse, bad altitude, no smile no offering for help not into customer service at all, make me wonder if its because I am Asian. There were few occasions service werent up to expectations but this time, I feel the urge to post this comment, hopefully Kroger will have nice staffs the whole store.
I save so much money at Kroger. This location always has their sales items easily identified, and they arent afraid to discount merchandise for quick sales. I buy a lot of managers special items and have never had a problem with quality. I rarely have to wait in line here. The cashiers are usually friendly, and self check out is always open.
The Deli staff was particularly helpful, great service. I noticed some of your leaders going through a training for new stores. You might want to consider diversifying. Come on recruiters, theyre out there somewhere. Reflect your communities.
Great store, bad service as is the norm here in Georgia.Edit : Bad customer experience here again. Got wine and employee was visibly frustrated just to verify my ID for no reason. Price of the wine bottle went up by $1.00 after she verified it for no reason and her reply to that was I cant do anything, do you still want it?. I get that youre frustrated for some reason but the customer isnt your outlet. This seems to be a pattern in Georgia. They dont seem to know what customer service really is.Also, theres no regard for social distancing rules.
Went to Kroger on chamblee dunwoody, did self checkout... only 1 or 2 other people checking out who didnt need assistance. Mine said I needed assistance once I went to pay, had to stand there for at least a minute before saying excuse me to get veronicas attention from her standing there playing on her phone, never looking up. She then came over and hit her numbers in and walked off with no apologetic attitude or even acknowledgement. Some people sincerely dont deserve to have jobs that involve customer service.
Great place! Produce and proteins stay fresh and restocked, employees have always been either friendly and straight to business, or just straight to business. Either one gets you in done and out. Never seen trash in the aisles or perishables out on the shelves, so either customers respect the store or employees quickly clean up. They have a nice dine-in area too next to a hot bar with a good variety of food types. Havent eaten there before, but Ive seen the cooks at work making fresh sushi, fried chicken and sides, Chinese takeout-style dishes, etc. Chaotic parking lot though; cant blame the Kroger for bad drivers, but get there when someones giving up their right of way and you may be sitting waiting to get out of the parking lot for awhile.
Managers always super friendly
Always well stocked, staff is very friendly!
Good customer service
Dont grab a basket or baby cart. Take the full sized cart because youll need it! Best selection, prices and customer service Ive seen at any grocery in Atlanta!
Very friendly place. Typical kroeger. Lots of shelves. Friendly staff. Ample parking in front. Great prices.
OMG!! I am utterly shocked as to the amount of improvement the customer service has improved at this Kroger. I came in there 9 months later and had the best five stars worthy experience ever! Drew, Christine, and Veronica were super helpful, nice, and provided by far the best customer service I have yet to experience at a Kroger....THANK YOU! Please, please keep up the amazing job.9 months is ago one star...Why is it that Kroger have such poor customer service!! Their employees, especially Kaylee have such terrible attitudes, horrible customer service, and acts like she doesnt want to be at work. I wish and hope that Kroger will step up their game and train their employees better.
BUT, this location is TEMPORARILY CLOSED due to renovation. The timeline for reopening is 2-4 months.Thank you,Douglas Kirkland
I love Kroger. My favorite grocery store. Have the best deals on the whinery and craft beers.
Outstanding customer service by Sunshine in the floral department! Very helpful in picking out colors for balloons and flowers!
Had great selection and layout. The products were relatively easy to locate and one of the more friendly staffs.
Nice Kroger. Better than others around. Still challenging to find some things because of the way they spread out the products in the store.
Love Kroger!! This is a nice big store, great selection of lotsa items...produce especially has gotten better...really no drama coming here...and a Starbucks pretty much same parking lot helps!!
Good store, clean and mostly friendly staff. Had a bad experience just once where this one cashier scanned her Kroger card and then got irritated and gave a little attitude when I wanted the points on MY Kroger Shoppers card instead. She said, You still get the discount & savings on your purchase items. I told her, Well I would like the savings on my gas as well. She proceeded to unwillingly start over the transaction, rescan all my items with a little attitude while releasing a long unattractive sigh and groan to me as she corrected it to scan mine. This was a huge turn off as a customer just trying to go about my life and do a little grocery shopping on my minimal time and valuable time off from work myself. If Kroger sees this message I will happily point her out the next next I visit the store if she still works there. I will raise to four stars if they do something about this and take action. Give a thumbs up if THIS has happened to YOU while shopping there please. Thank you.
Great Kroger. The quality of the meat and produce is better than whats offered at the other Krogers in the area. Also, it has a larger selection. I come here on a regular basis.
Big store. Great beer selection. Parking can be rough.
Best thing about Kroger it has 6 self checkouts that makes it faster getting out when only need a few items.
Your neighborhood grocery store. Open 24 hours. Recently renovated and expanded; now its one of the larger grocery stores around. Very nice and clean, but lighting is rather uneven. Appears to have missed the bathroom in the process of renovation. Pleasant enough grocery store.
Sometimes this Kroger has good meat and produce and sometimes not really. They are also inconsistent with service and sometimes have bad service. Some of the folks who work there act like they are the most miserable people in the world. I have had both good and bad experiences at this Kroger.
Im at this Kroger practically every other day, and it never disappoints. Staff is great, everything is well-maintained, and its hard to have a bad experience here.
This Kroger is well stocked and has many friendly faces working there. The downfall is that when maneuvering through the store, you almost feel as though you are onI- 285...It is very compact. Everywhere you turn or move there is a row or an end cap filled with groceries. I get it! They want to maximize the space, but good grief, I shouldnt have to be bumping into groceries because they are sitting in the middle of an aisle, or knocking groceries off on an end cap because, I need to turn around. Oh! there is no short cut to get around, youre stuck until the person moves! I really did like going there, but from the time you enter, and go left, there is some big box of something to sell, just sitting in the middle of the way. Very frustrating when you just want to run in and out! I have never been in a Kroger where you have to literally wait for someone to make a choice of items that they want and you cant go around because of the traffic jam! If you go near the Pharmacy and in front of the Baby aisle, you will see the bins of stuff and the blocked aisle that I am talking about!
I took whole Chicken twice from here. It was fresh and the butcher was polite she chopped it exactly how I wanted. Neat store and fresh stock. Located close to intersection in a strip mall.
Self service stations are always malfunctioning. A woman at the next station got charged 2 times and no employee would help her. She was from out of town and they just told her to call her bank because they refused to a refund for the second charge because it was a little after 11pm. My station crashed so I had plenty of time to hear what was happening with her in between the, someone will assist you momentarily. I must have heard it 20 times. Another customer across from me had to have an employee assist her too because the register froze. One employee can only do so much.
Love the place except the parking.
Great grocery! Clean and neat and well stocked. Can be extra cold in the summer. Bring a sweater.
Love the Pharmacy and the employees. But the prepared dishes dont change out often enough. The same stuff every week. Bring back the meatballs
Allows adults to enter the store without masks
Love this Kroger. Clean, well organized and friendly staff
Very nicely renovated. Large selection of everything. Big organic and vegan section. Large wine selection with lots of sales. Sushi bar. Deli not as good as Publix but decent
I love this kroger. Right now a little chaotic as they are remodeling, but still great
They always have everything great choices and are very helpful
BE AWARE: This Kroger is no longer 24 hours as of Mothers Day 2017. They now close daily at 1 am. Adding to this lack of convenient hours has been a steady deterioration of produce quality and overall selection shortages and you are left with a store that is vastly inferior to its old self. Avoid.
Not a bad Kroger but cant seem to keep Kroger half & half in stock
This location is always very busy and I have a hard time find parking in the evenings during the week. The store is clean and neat. Nice staff.
This is a super Kroger. Always clean and well stocked and the produce is always in good condition.
The beer selection alone is incredible. That, along with the awesome sushi selections, variety of world cheeses, great lunch options, and a vast organic section makes this a fantastic Kroger.
If you have coupons you have to wait for an employee to come and sign in so you can scan your coupon. We waited a good 8 minuets before leaving and we only had 1 coupon.
This is my favorite Kroger to shop at bc it always has exactly what I need. The staff is always very friendly especially Angela. She is the best and has the greatest laugh.
