Disappointed experienceI changed a tire today at Mr. Tire. I called John yesterday and told him what tire I need. He quoted me for $116 and asked me to be there today around 9am.So I dropped off my car as scheduled and asked him a few questions. He answered them and told me that my car would be ready by lunchtime. A moment later he called me saying that my tire was not available because of Sunday. He could install a cheaper tire instead ($59 instead of $84 as the tire I requested). I was a bit disappointed because I asked him explicitly yesterday whether it would be done on a Sunday and he ensured me they could do it. After a bit hesitation, I agreed to install this cheaper tire.I did not hear from him until 2pm so called him and he told me that they would be done soon. My car was ready a little after 3:00.When I was about to pay, I realized that it was $103 total. I asked him why it was only $13 less than quoted while the installed tire was $25 cheaper than the quoted tire. He denied that he ever quoted me for $116. I told him that this morning I saw his note with $116 on it. He told me that he had thrown away his note. I did not want to argue so paid $103,Did he check his tire inventory before scheduling me for today?He did mention the cheaper tire when I dropped off my car but I told him I was not interested. Did he already know that they didnt have the tire I requested at that time?Did he lie about his note?Readers who read my story can answer these questions.I will not recommend this garage to anyone.

Sean-Dean was amazing he helped me get my tire fixed quickly. I was worried I would have to leave my car and Uber back to work but he helped get my tire repaired all under 30 minutes. This quick service save me a lot of time I’m truly appreciative 😊

Great service! Had a nail in my all terrain tire which they patched and repaired within an hour. They even have a desk where I could work from while I waited. Very friendly staff!

Went by to get my tires rotated as I bought the tires there and decided to get an oil change as well. Made an appointment, greeted warmly and work completed within an acceptable time. Price for oil change was much lower than I had been paying.

Called to get price for oil change. Gave year, make and model and was told expect to pay $55 to $75 for oil change. Seemed reasonable as other quick change shop quoted me $75. I show up for my appt and now the price is $135?? Guy says our prices are way up from Covid, oil shortages, etc. Ended up going to dealership for a $60 oil change...first time ever service at a dealership was less expensive than shops around town! I highly recommend not getting your vehicle serviced here unless you dont care about money

I made an appointment for an ultimate oil change the day before; when I came in I told them thats what I wanted but I also asked if the vehicle could be inspected. I was told the car would take two hrs to be finished; I came back two hrs 30 mins later and nothing had been done to the car but the inspection and then I was told the inspection alone was $55 which was not told to me before. I left very upset. I did spoke with Sean dale the manager and fortunately he was able to resolve my issues

Whether youre getting an oil change or need to fix a flat tire this is the place to go for all your car needs and services! they have such a friendly team! not to mention theyre fast and reliable! Shawndell is the man! Thanks for everything! Well definitely continue going to them!

Ultimately the oil change and tire rotation were done in a timely manner. But initially my wife was told that the work would take all morning despite the fact that my wife had made an appointment in advance.We will continue to patronize Mr Tire - the work gets done well and their prices are fair.

Amazing customer service. William and David got my car fixed quickly even though there were several people ahead of me. When I came back they knew who I was and which my car was mine before I even said anything. Ill be coming here from now on.

Alex and his team at Mr Tire Dunwoody are so friendly and helpful. Our sons older Ford Explorer has been serviced several times over the years. Recently we had not one, but two nails in two separate tires in two months! They quickly fixed both tires and he was on his way. Definitely recommend them for service and tire repair/replacements.

I had a nail in my tire and brought it in to be patched. I got the call that my car was done very quickly. When I went in to get my keys and pay, the owner waved my wallet away and told me not to worry about paying! The kind gesture was so appreciated. These guys are the best.

Called in the morning and made an appointment for 12noon for tire repair, but waited for nearly 3 hours there and nothing happened! This is super frustrating! If you cant keep the promise, then dont make it to your customers. Will NEVER return to this place. Dekalb Tire is much better, unfortunately they were closed today!

The service was decent (simple oil change); however, the inside of my car looks like the mechanic touched everything he possibly could with his dirty hands. I have very light interior so it’s easily noticeable. I didn’t even want to touch my steering wheel when I got into my car. I understand the job causes their hands to get dirty but the least they can do is be mindful of what they’re touching when inside someone’s vehicle.

Good place with really great people. My sister was visiting Dunwoody and picked up a nail in her tire causing a surprisingly fast deflation, called Alex Kennedy a few moments before closing time and he remained open, stayed late and got the tire patched . Alex made a really bad day significantly better. Good job Alex - Also, thanks for the reasonable charge for services rendered.

Writing this review because Alex is a gem. My husband and I hadnt been to Mr. Tire since before the pandemic and we werent sure what to expect. Called and spoke with Alex who assured me that Mr. Tire still had great mechanics on deck.Let me just say the mechanic who did my brake job and everything else did an outstanding job!!! As a result, my car is back riding smooth again and I am grateful. I appreciate Alex and the whole team and extending a huge THANK YOU and shout-out to Kay!!!

I would never recommend these services to anyone.This is my second experience with this shop.First visit was on “shakiness” in my front wheels. I was told it was a wheel bearing issue, and they scammed me to pay $250+ for one. I take my car to my personal mechanic maybe 5 minutes away, and he tells me that there was nothing wrong with my wheel bearings, and that didn’t solve the issue. I was able to resolve the car issue, but ended up spending upwards of $700 to fix it properly; wasting $250 from coming to Mr.Tire. The fact that they weren’t able to accurately identify my issue the first time and cause me to waste money should’ve shown me not to come back.Second visit, I request a 10:00am appointment. I have been waiting 2+ hours and as I try to cancel (I have to go back to work, I was told this would be max 1 hour job) they say I can’t because they haven’t received the part yet and they’ve already taken things apart. It is 12:30pm and they have put on my brake pads WITHOUT changing my worn out rotors, and then documented that “these parts were declined by the customer” which is absolutely false.I really wanted to trust a shop that has such high reviews, but this service has been ridiculous. I will never come back here.

Had a starter put in really quick, great price

A rainy Wednesday afternoon just before the store closed. My daughter had a nail in her tire and the pressure was nearly flat. She went by the Dunwoody Village location and Andrew helped her immediately, he made her feel comfortable, and then they did the tire repair completely free! The service that I received at Mr. Tire in Dunwoody was phenomenal. It was quick and easy and I didn’t feel dumb with any of my questions. I can tell that they were very knowledgeable with a lot of patients. (I showed up an hour before closing . I worked with technician Alex and Micaela!

Good prices and knowledgeable staff. And i was in and out in record time. Compared to your regular tire shop. Ive been here twice already. And when i need anything else. Theyll be my first stop.

A full service garage. Oil Change include tire rotation. Basic oil change is $50. They will not honor $30 oil change coupon any more. However, synthetic oil change is only about $60, after $15 off coupon.

Asked them to read a code from an engine light, and they told me my engine was failing and I basically needed a new car after waiting a week for an answer. Took the car somewhere else for a second opinion, and my engine was completely fine. They lied to get rid of me, and I had to pay $125 for a complete lie. In the future, if you aren’t sure what the code means, please just be honest with your customer. Integrity is very important in this business.EDIT: Their only reply was that they “appreciate my feedback”, but do not wish to make amends with their customer. Will not be returning.

It’s funny how greatly your experience will vary as a single woman at an auto-shop. I had a nail in my tire, I was not driving on the rim, but knew I needed to make sure it did not get to that point. This was the closest place. I called beforehand and made an appointment (because of covid) no issues. I get there no issues, the guys started to look at my car right away. About 10 minutes in the guy from the shop brings the guy at the front desk the paper work with 2015 circled on it, noting the year of my tires. The guy at the front desk then proceeded to tell me how my tires had dry rot and they are not supposed to patch tires that are more than 5 years old then he started to try and sell me new tires. I told him no, I was not traveling very far any time soon and that I just needed the patch. A week later my tire pressure alert went off again. Turns out I had a nail in a different tire. This time I went to Honda and asked about my tire condition. They drove my car over sensors... and showed me...all of my tires were in the green for tread. They said they would not tell their family member to get new tires, if I was in the family. They wanted to know who told me to get new tires because that was complete BS.

Got the coupon for free wiper blades installed if I get my oil changed. When I walked in and showed front desk coupon, they agreed to install wiper blades as coupon says. Later on after I paid for the oil change I realized I was actually charged for the wiper blades.I called the store back for refund, and told them my old wiper blades were still in good condition, and i would not had wanted new wiper blades if not for the coupon. The guy who answered the phone acknowledged the charged was wrong, but insisted on giving me a store credit as a refund. Why on earth do I need store credit for a tire store???I finally got him agree to a refund to my credit card, but he said it would up to 5 days for his manager to review the charge, then discuss with me about refund.Wow, who needs 5 days to review a wrongful charge?? So shady

Too bad I didnt get the same service others did especially over something as simple as nails in the tire. Was told the tire needed to be replaced. Thats fine. I was also told they didnt have the tire on hand and it needed to be ordered, so they would call me when it arrived. Also fine. I never received a call. I called myself a few times to check the status and kept getting getting lied to about different times it would arrive. Once I was left just sitting on hold for 30minutes. Who knows if he even bothered to order it. Meanwhile Im riding around for days with nails in my tire. Obviously I moved on to another location who immediately fixed it. The original location never even bothered to check other locations and see if they had one in stock or called once to let me know what was going on. My service fell by the wayside so Ill be going elsewhere

Fantastic customer service! I was having some trouble installing a headlamp. I stopped by just before they closed, the guy at the front desk was nice enough to take the time to help me, even though it wasnt a product I bought from them, it cold as ...., and he was busy! Again, Fantastic...

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Accurate time and cost estimates. My wife needed four new tires, and Alex talked us through the options. He recommended a set of run-flats that came with a 60,000-mile tread warranty over the ones we had on the car (which were $$$ more with no warranty). It is refreshing to experience such a knowledgeable staff that gives you options when it comes to replacing tires and having work done. It is also nice to know that they do not sell you on the most expensive brands. If I could give more than five stars, I would.

They have a customer for lifeUpdate on 1/31/18 I replaced my tires previously and just recently saw that I had a slow leak. David as always was courteous and informative. Needed my oil changed when the oil light came on. Had a dr.apointment and close by was Mr. Tire. Andrew not only had my oil changed but when rotating my tires, found 2 nails which needed patched. When paying my bill he also gave me a coupon. Ill definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing experience here! The employees are very kind and considerate. I didn’t know anything about tires and ended up coming in on a whim to see if they could assist with my tire pressure. Thankfully they handled my car graciously and the issue was resolved in record timing. 10/10 would recommend to anyone!

This great place when you are in Tire trouble. I had flat tire when I about to start for long drive. Took my car and Sean verified tires very thoroughly. I was so relaxed. And the best part Sean didnt charge me a penny. I would give 10 star if it is there. Please go here and you will get honest and satisfied service.

Friendly staff and prompt service left me initially satisfied. Not long after though I felt a vibration, which on inspection initially showed now obvious issues until I noticed 2 lug nuts were missing. A third was put on cross-threaded and sheared off with minimal force as I unscrewed it on the side of the road. The last two nuts on that wheel were also maybe finger-tight. Service was good and the other wheels were fine, but had my car been older and more prone to slight mechanical vibrations or anomalies I might not have noticed the issue until the wheel was rolling away on the highway. I must revise my original 5 stars to 1 as careless work could have caused a terrible accident.

I definitely appreciate the service at Mr. Tire whenever I go in. I’ve been getting my car serviced here since moving from MPLS. I miss David working here, but that’s okay because Sundal is also amazing. Today I came in and needed to put my new plates on, and without hesitation, I was helped. Thanks guys:)

I have been going to this location for over 20 years. I have one car thats old enough to vote and Mr. Tire has done all of the maintenance on that vehicle. Today I came in with a different vehicle that had a tire with a slow leak. I was greeted cheerfully by Alex who took care of me. It only took about 30 minutes to pull a nail out and repair my tire. Ive been coming to this place for almost 10 years now and theyve never steered me wrong. I can always trust them to give me the best prices and tell it to me straight. Recently, I had to get my alternator replaced and they found the exact part that I wanted and were able to fix it that day. Sean-Dale is always friendly and polite and will work with whatever situation I have. Especially right now, they are all being responsible, wearing masks and gloves and everyone was 6 ft. apart. Its great to have a trustworthy place to get my car fixed. As long as im living in GA, theyll get my business.

If you have any kind of insurance then don’t go to this place unless you are paying out of your pocket for your repair. I recently bought a used car and received a complimentary warranty from them.So, I went to this place to have brake pads and rotors replaced but they wanted to keep a good relation with the insurance company and told me my brake pads and rotors are fine. (I went to Pep Boys before visiting this place and Pep Boys told me Front two rotors and all four brake pads need to be replaced. But they did not have availability for the same day. so, i had to visit Mr.Tire) They did wheel balancing and told me it was wheel balancing which was generating all that vibration in steering and pedals while braking. After a week i had to visit Pep Boys again and they replaced rotors and brake pads.I would never visit this place again and recommend if you have any kind of insurance or third party warranty and want to have your car fixed go to somewhere else instead of wasting your time here.

Terrible service. Needed oil change, sold me “engine flush and synthetic” for $250. Car runs terrible. They told me alternator was fine and just needed a battery. Replaced battery, warning light still on. Alternator must be bad. These people have no idea what they are doing...except ripping you off!!! Complained to headquarters....crickets. Do not go here - they are thieves!!!!

Love this place! Super friendly. David is the best!! All my questions were answered openly and honestly, and my car needed several items (which I already knew about). Had oil and coolant changed 12/26. Things seemed to go smoothly and I picked my car up. No next oil change sticker on the windshield. Then they gave me a receipt with mileage in and mileage out as 136233, some made-up number as they couldnt be bothered to walk round the side of my car and figure out the real mileage. So when I show the next owner the records it will look like I changed the mileage. Sloppy work so I am not bringing it back. Who even knows if they even did the work they said they did.

ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE here. I used to come here because David(manager) gave great customer service, and unheard of service in terms of price & time. Now he’s gone, and the ones who are here are beyond terrible. You walk in and the look they give you makes you think you just kicked a puppy. You’re an inconvenience. Don’t spend your money here. They’ll charge you as much as possible, and then tell you to move along after you pay. I say this because I KNOW what bad prices are. Walk away.It goes beyond logic. Logic would tell you happy customers = more profit. To them, to make happy customer = extra work. They won’t do it. TAKE YOUR MONEY & TIME ELSEWHERE.

I was about to give this place a pass, but after realizing that I was lied to 4 times during a single visit I can not give it my recommendation. I visited the shop for a simple oil change and tire rotation.Issue 1Before leaving my car with them, I noted which tires were in which positions. When I came back, the tires were in the same places. I had to go in and tell the guy at the front desk who had to go get the worker to complete that task. The only reason that this review gets 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the front desk guy doing that.Issue 2 and 3I was told that I needed a brake fluid exchange and brake pad replacements. Luckily, I had the receipt from a previous visit to a different shop from 18 months ago (< 10,000 miles ago) confirming that I have already had those handled.Issue 4Very minor, but the guy who lied about rotating the tires also lied about resetting my cars automatic warning system for when those need to get replaced again.I will not be returning to Mr. Tire.

I discovered the Tire place by accident and I’m glad that I did. Sinclair, a young lady, who assists customers is so knowledgeable and proficient. David, the store manager also very helpful and professional. I got very good value for my money with very good products and excellent time efficient service. I,highly, recommend Mr.Tire for any new tires purchase, installation and alignment since those are the ones I got.

I took my daughters car to Mr. Tire on Dunwoody Village Parkway to check and repair a tire with a slow leak. Mr. Howard Brown and his staff were very courteous and professional. I do not hesitate to recommend them for your tire and service needs.

Got an oil change and came back 3 days later to change all 4 tires. Davids a great dude, very helpful in explaining all of the different cost options and benefits of different tiers. Definitely recommend this place if you like transparency in your purchases.

On the way to a funeral I noticed that my tire pressure light was on . I stopped at the closest tire place that happened to be Firestone . Three days later after the tire pressure light coming back on I was told the patch was leaking . I contacted the firestone and was advised they couldn’t do anything but replace the tire and they quoted me an outrageous amount for a new tire. I decided I would return to my normal tire place. “ Mr. Tire” I explained what happened and Shondell the individual at the front desk was able to get me a new tire and at a lower price . The individuals who work at this location are always nice and they make sure things are done correctly and for a decent price .

Jason at Mr Tire Auto is the man. I called in for a quote and he was a straight shooter off the bat. They definitely earned my loyal business and dont give you any of the run around. Very glad I chose to go here. My new tires ride so smooth and Jason gave me a very fair price!

Wonderful place. We used to go to the john creek location and now moved to dunwoody location. Wonderful customer service. They take care of your car better then any other place with good pricing. Good deals and would sure offer you better price.

Upon my suggestion, my son took his car here to have some pretty significant repairs done. He did have to bring it back after the first time they worked on it, and then they had to keep if for several days to make sure all of the repairs were done comprehensively.....but their customer service was great and the value was outstanding. They literally charged just a fraction of the originally quoted price because they had the car for awhile and had to address some errors. In this day and age especially, its paramount to be able to find a place you can trust isnt ripping you off at every turn and those places are far a few between. This is one of those places. Plus, their oil changes are cheaper than anywhere Ive seen. Theyve earned our familys repeat business.

I came to get a normal tire rotation and was told by a different shop that I’d need new tires. With an expense like this I wanted a second opinion. The technician that helped me, David, showed me the current condition of my tires and how much longer I could actually ride on them. Thanks to his honesty I can ride on these tires for another couple oil changes. Thankful for his expertise and his honest opinion when he could have told me I needed new tires today to get an extra buck. Will keep coming here for all my service needs!

As soon I walked in, Darryl made sure to assist me at another desk so I didn’t have to wait in line. He gave options for my car questions and even beat the price I was expecting!When my car was worked on, he showed me other concerns he had and educated me on the options. It was a pressure free decision.Kay answered all questions I had about my car and got it serviced faster than the estimated time.

Not impressed. First, the person at the counter wasnt wearing a mask. I had a slow leak in on tire, they couldnt find a leak but replaced the valve stem....ok. I had someone else look at the tire and they found the hole and fixed it.But while I was at Mr. Tire, I asked for a quote on a battery -$220 installed, I went elsewhere and got the same (group 27) for $160 installed.Mr. Tire gave me a quote for 4 new tires, Im looking at needing them soon so ok. For everyday decent tires it was $1200. The tires I previously bought were the same and $800 installed. Costco charges for similar $800. I can order better tires (Hancook) and have them drop shipped and installed for $900 total.Then they send me junk mail a week later for %10 off. Wow thanks.Im mot saying they are bad service. But this was my experience.

I used to live less than a mile from here and stumbled across this place one day. David has been my guy ever since then. I now live in Old Fourth Ward in Atlanta and still bring my 4Runner here for maintenance. David and his team are consistently time efficient and offer exceptional service. I had a great experience at this Dunwoody location. I worked with both David and Amber. They were both very professional, attentive and helpful. Amber had an inviting personality, and made me feel I was in good hands. David went the extra mile and made sure I was both educated and satisfied with the services provided. Impressed by their review on internet, I went there on August 1 2018 for a starter replacement job of my Chevy Malibu 2000. They did the replacement job and charged $248 for it. Few days later, my car stopped suddenly in the middle of uphill traffic, and I had to call a police officer to request for a towing service to take my car to nearest autoshop. The new auto workshop inspected my car and found the Mr Tire technicians had left one of the wires disconnected among 3 wires. Due to which the battery was not charging at all and the shut down occurred.I went there later to talk to the shop manager, he told me to send them an email with the details of cost I had to bear due to their negligence and I did it accordingly. But I have not heard any thing from them since then. Due to my bad experience at this shop, I would not recommend any one to go over there. If I had to give any review, it would be ZERO stars or even less than that. Very unprofessional behavior.

David was the absolute best! I came in with a slow leak in my tire and I was in and out within 20 minutes with a patch! I would highly recommend coming in to see them!

We were in a time crunch, with only Saturday to figure out what was going on with our daughters car before she drove it back to school the next day. Darryl and David went above and beyond the standard of just providing good customer service, they were excellent! I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in, and I was out the door and back on the road safely within 30-40 minutes. HUGE thank you to everyone involved! Come here before you even think to go anywhere else, and that’s on period!!

This is about the second or third time I’ve gotten my car serviced at this location and the customer service is always beyond expectation. David at the front desk is very welcoming and helpful . He, as well as the other staff, ensure that they get you in and out in a timely manner ! Highly recommend !

The guys here are great! They are super courteous and I don’t feel as if they are trying to get over on me. Especially when I thought I needed brakes and they suggested I have a brake inspection just to make sure. Turns out my brakes were good! As a women I can appreciate an establishment who’s goal is not to get over. This is my second visit and I’m sure I’ll be back if need be.

These guys are phenomenal! Easily scheduled a same-day appointment for tire and brake service, and was in and out the door in less than two hours with four new tires, alignment, and new brakes. And furthermore, they went out of their way to apply discounts on top of the ones I had brought. Never have had such incredible car service like I had from David and his crew. Will be back for sure!
