I cant express enough how much my husband LOVED this place. We saw it while driving and had to turn in. Everyone was so nice and willing to help. And let us browse at our lesure. The prices were Amazing. A decorators perfect place to shop. We will definitely go back.

This used to be a favorite consignment... recently the new furniture has been a disappointment.Please bring back more unique items and fewer oversized furniture

Southern comfort is just a great little store I do a lot of Consigning with them and make purchases as well one of the things that I have challenges with when it comes to southern comfort is the fact that it’s like going into a furniture store are used to be really homey great pricing picking up nearly new items and now it’s like shopping at Havertys our rooms to go Unfortunately they have lost that special touch but don’t give me wrong they have beautiful furniture absolutely fabulous staff and you are definitely going to be able to find what you want I just wish I could take $100 in there and come out with something really nice now you need about 500 at the least

Great quality furniture

Southern Comforts is a great store. Ive found some really nice pieces for my house at great prices. Every time I go in, they have new stuff. Its a fun place to shop.

The staff here, and at the other 3 locations are extremely helpful. The inventory is constantly changing, offering new and unique pieces every time you go. You wont be disappointed!

Great place to go for lamps, pictures and interesting pieces ..... all at reasonable prices.Fun to just browse.

I dont know the reviewer who wrote they have the same old junk shipped in from Mexico but she couldnt be more wrong! The merchandise is clearly from various consignees and changes frequently; I check monthly when I go in for a hair appointment in the same shopping center. Ive bought several little things there, no furniture, but thats not what Im in the market for. I found a stunning beverage cart from the 60s that I texted to my brother because I knew hed love it. Friendly staff, very helpful when Ive asked questions. Some things stay for a while, many are gone quickly -- Ive come back a few days later and poof, sold! Its worth trying but you have to keep going back like any consignment shop to get lucky!

Although initially it was a consignment store now has a majority of new items. Clean well decorated and appealing. Friendly staff

Extremely disappointed with their pricing techniques. I trusted them to get the best price according to resale values but they didn’t do their homework and practically gave the item away before they provided me a price quote. Too late to negotiate a fair value. Very disappointed with their professionalism. Would give zero stars if possible. Make sure you provide pricing information for your item and do not trust them to do the right thing for you. What I don’t understand is why they wouldn’t want to make a fair profit for the consignor and their business while providing a fair price for the consumer. Not the kind of business practices I prefer to work with.

Great place to walk around and periodically find some treasures.

Be extremely careful consigning here. My pieces were underpriced, I later found this out from an art dealer and one item was stolen. I know things happen and the store is not responsible for stolen items, they make that exceptionally clear, but when I went to pick up they had no idea where my things that were left even were and there seems to be very little oversight. The owner is a pleasant person, but one of the workers there said there is extreme disorganization and it could be frustrating. Another agreed with her behind the counter. It’s very cluttered and a thief may have no problem lifting something smaller unsecured. Think long and hard before you give up 50% but it is a decent place to purchase.

The store is nice and have good selection. Some items are a bit overpriced but in general you can find reasonably priced items

I have visited the Dunwoody store almost every day since June 2014. I have purchased over 75K in merchandise from all of the stores . I have consigned henredon, baker and oil painting at this store that have all sold. I HAVE REFERRED DOZENS OF PEOPLE, TAKEN PICS OF ITEMS SENT TO FRIENDS THAT THEY PURCHASED. I recently sent a list of items to consign and a Louis XVI sofa was rejected because of the fabric. In fact it had handmade tapestry on the sofa and was in excellent condition. I said I would talk with Jenny the owner who I see often. I later get another form letter denial from Jenny. I would have thought given the fact of what I have spent there that she would have called me. I GUESS THERE IS NO ROOM FOR QUALITY CONSIGNMENTS JUST CHEAP FURNITURE FROM WHAT LOOKS LIKE JOSS AND MAIN. TAKE A LOOK AT ALL OF THE STORES YOU ARE COMPETING WITH OVER 60% NEW FURNITURE THAT ARE NEVER MARKED DOWN, BUT YOUR CONSIGNMENT ITEMS ARE. BY THE WAY I HAVE CONSIGNED ALL OF MY ITEMS WITH A NEW STORE. THIS IS SHOCKING, GOES TO SHOW THERE IS NO LOYALTY TO ME THE CUSTOMER. LAST TIME I WAS IN DUNWOODY THERE WAS A FLAKEBOARD GRANDFATHER CLOCK WITH SHELVES I HAVE TO ASK HOW DID THAT GET ACCEPTED. ADVICE FOR THE MASSES GO TO JOSS AND MAIN GET A SIMILAR PRODUCT WITH FREE SHIPPING.

Can hardly walk thru the place. They should get a bigger place. Also they should stop taking little stuff. You can get that at Home Goods or TJMaxx for same price.
