We saw a 2005 Yukon XL Denali for sale that looked very clean and in great shape. We drove 3.5 hours to check it out. We hoped the pictures were accurate from the website and they were! Taylor and his Dad were great to work with, they were very friendly and helpful. There was absolutely no hassling like you get from a larger dealership. We’re very happy with our purchase and would absolutely make the drive to purchase another vehicle from them!

Bought a Fusion there July 21. We test drove the vehicle and everything worked. The next week we picked up the vehicle. I should have rechecked everything but did not. The radio now no longer plays. I dont know if it was switched out or what since they had 3 other Fusions on the lot. Folks seem friendly but it is also too close to COPART. I recommend another dealer. The wife went to pick up the plates and they were not there. They decided to mail them after we had agreed they would be picked up. In writing I may add. And now they call me about the radio after my wife complained about it as if they would have done something which they avoided when I called them the day after purchase. So where are my plates? I recommend another dealer, dont waste the drive from Fayetteville.

I got me a 2006 buick rendezvous they said that it was a good working vehicle hasnt been 2 month yet and the head gasket is blown. Come to find out someone put head gasket leak additives in the coolant to slow the process down. The vehicle costed me 4700 and i cant get that back . They should be paying more attention to their cars or suvs. I wouldnt recommend this to anyone. Pretty much sold me a lemon.

Should have taken it to a mechanic after the engine smoked during test drive, even though I was assured it was a hose that would be fixed.Less than 2 months after purchase radiator dies. Mechanic said some sort of fix it ate through the hoses. Additionally the car needed more work than what I paid for itI feel scammed. Bad deal and experience

Im checking was turned away from few other places. Found my experience to be honest and open. First time I was truly comfortable visiting a car dealership. No small print - everything was above board. Great experience.

I saw a truck that I thought my son would like. After test driving the first time, the knock sensor triggered the check engine light, which the dealer fixed. The second time we test drove, no issues, but price was reduced for cosmetic issues, and we decided to move forward with the purchase. On Tuesday, June 25, 2019, we purchased the vehicle. On June 27, 2019, the truck would not crank. We jumped it off, and got the battery tested - dead cell in the battery. Knox offered to sell us a battery at a wholesale price. On June 27, 2019, the back rear window on passenger side would not go back up and stay. On June 28, 2019, the same the happened to the rear driver side window. Also, brakes and rotors need to be changed. I called Knox and informed them about the battery on June 27th. Buyer Beware - SOLD AS IS, NO WARRANTY means Knox will offer services for a fee to fix what they knew was wrong with the vehicle in the first place. Four days and now its my problem to fork out more money for repairs, according to Knox. My salesman was friendly, but not honest. Two things to keep in mind when purchasing from Knox Auto Sales, 1733 Capital Blvd, Raleigh, NC - 1) Checks to hold vehicle are NON - REFUNDABLE 2) Vehicles sold As Is have NO WARRANTY, no grace period for repairs, and no sympathy from the dealer. My experience with them this time has definitely discouraged me from being a return customer. I would not highly recommend buying a vehicle from them.

I cant say enough nice things about this dealership.I needed a second vehicle for my commute to work. My wife and I did all the research looking for a Honda Civic and found the right one at Knox Auto Sales. We knew it was fairly priced from our research and the free Carfax that Knox provides - the fact they provided the Carfax was a good sign that they wanted to be upfront and transparent; we quickly learned not every dealership provides the Carfax.We went on a Wednesday morning and were able to walk over to the car and look it over without anyone immediately approaching us, which I appreciated. We met Christian Knox, one of the owners, inside. Christian is great! Hes very polite, honest, straightforward. He didnt try to sell me on the car or talk to me constantly. He let me test drive the car to my mechanic. When I came back and had a couple of minor, pre-existing issues with the car, he worked hard right at that moment to try to fix the issues.My experience was only with Christian, but I think its a general rule that they wont negotiate on price unless the car has been on the lot for 30 days or more. Christian explained their pricing process to me in a lot of detail, which was surprising - the process made sense to me to show me that they really do attempt to fairly price the vehicles. Cash or cashiers check only, so be prepared for that.Overall, no nonsense, honest, good people at Knox Auto Sales. If I need another car, or I know someone who needs one, I would tell them this is the first place to look. Im very happy I went here and Im at peace with the purchase.

I found Knox auto through a craigslist search. They had an explorer at a price I couldnt turn down (as long as everything was okay with it). Upon arriving, I must admit I almost didnt turn in. I have to be honest guys, this joint looks like a hole in the wall. I did turn in, thinking I have some guy walk up just dying to rip me off.On the contrary, I dealt with someone who was reasonably honest. The truck I bought had a couple of issues (if you buy a used car, you should take it to your mechanic before you put money down on it anyway). The body of the vehicle is ok... but I could obviously see that. Mechanically, its sound. Ive had the explorer for 6 months now without an issue. I cannot speak of Knoxs financing abilities... I dont do on the lot financing. What I can say is I paid under KBB good private party value for a vehicle from a dealer. It wasnt detailed. Knox employees (all from one family I assume) did know all issues with the vehicle up front. I confirmed this through an independent mechanic. They lowered the posted price accordingly. In addition to the good price, the owner has an arrangement where you receive a discount from a local mechanic. I have my own guy that will give me roughly the same price, but it is a very good gesture. All in all, these guys are good to go in my opinion. As for their financing tactics... if you have to resort to on the lot financing (I understand some people must at no fault of their own) then you can stand by to get your car repossessed at month 2 of being late. Honestly, thats being kind of generous.

Test drove a car there 7/8/17. Car drove nice. Carfax was supplied by dealer. Car had issues from the start. Driver side headlight didnt work, passenger side brake light didnt work. Inside smelled like dogs. Big gap where the back driver side window rolls down, big enough to let water between the door panels, could cause damage to the power window motor. Noticed the car had overspray around the drivers side hatchback window. The carfax indicated 2 different rearend collisions, one of the 2 also had a side impact. Salesman tried to sell me on the fact that both owners keep the car even after it had been repaired. (previous owners didnt keep the car that long). I know its not a brand new car, but come on guys, make simple repairs, detail inside and out before you show your cars online.I wont be back, wont recommend them to anyone looking.

(THIS PLACE SOLD ME A JEEP WITH A CRACKED FRAME)Bought a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee a little over 2 years ago and the thing didnt even last a year. The radiator even compleatly cracked and failed sorting engine coolant all over the place less then 24 hours after buying it. The dealership (if you can even call them that) was nice enough to send a flatbed truck from a neighboring dealership but was also nice enough to charge me for a new radiator. Yes I know that the Jeep was bought as isand if the radiator had broke a week or 2 after buying then I would just say it was bad luck. But this is what makes me think it might not only been bad luck. Unfortunately I had to leave the Jeep with the dealership for about a hour after deciding to buy it while I went to the bank and DMV. Now Im not leveling an accusation here but I am saying its a odd coincidence that the radiator blows up the next day and the dealership charges me the exact amount that I talked them down off of their original asking price the previous day. The jeep had nonstop problems for the next few mounths after buying before it finally quit because of a broken Frame. My mechanic told me the frame looked like it was damaged in a previous had finally broken.Will never buy from them again and have gone out of my way to inform other people to stay away for there safety and everyones safety on the road.

They dont refurb the cars they sell. They dont know enough about cars to be selling them. I test drove a car that had multiple things wrong with it and they said they didnt know about them or that thats the way the car is supposed to be. #bunchofpunks #hugefailure

Google asked me what I like about this place, nothing, they are liars, cheapos, and crooks. I bought a 2000 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport Wagon from them a few months ago, they have Carfax that dont match up with the car in terms of details; example the Carfax said the car had 78k miles, when I got it, it had 109k. I looked past that, they would not fix the brakes at all cost, car had original timing belt, cheap hub caps, and a few other porblems when I took it to a mechanic. They were well aware of the milage, and falsely advertised it. I had to get a car for my job, and asap. So if I had more time, I wouldve went elsewhere. Not to mention they are not the friendliness people. Go elsewhere, save yourself from a headache.
