My car was making a weird noise and I was a little ways away from home. I stopped by this Duncanville location to check on it. Steven (or Stephen?) Assisted me and was so helpful. Straight to the point and reminded me that most repairs have warranty. Unfortunately I decided to honor that with the previous repair shop but I highly recommend this location based on customer service & transparency alone. Honestly if I have other repairs needed in the future, I wouldnt mind driving out of the way to this place. Thanks again!

I called before I arrived at the repair shop. I spoke with Steven and he was pleasant, he listened and made me feel that I could trust him. I went by he had my car pulled in the stall immediately. I was done in 45 minutes. The costs was more than affordable. I had water leaking in my car and was told by family it was my heater core, but it wasnt. I had debris in the hose and they cleaned it out. Air is super cold and car is running new again!

Theyve been there 25 to 30 years!! Certified technicians. Good customer service. II appreciated that on the services I declined, they explained what they were and why they may be important. Helpful for making decisions. I would use them again.

I took my car in to get a state inspection. The customer service was great. The waiting area was clean and tidy. Everyone was courteous and polite. The gentleman checked me in & I only had to wait 20-30 minutes.

I heard great things about this place and when I had the opportunity to use them I took it but declined service and heres why.. Speedy off of Clark and Danieldale originally had my vehicle but unfortunately could not provide the service needed. I took it to them first because they were closer to me. I called City garage and talked to Mark. Mark told me that they could have my vehicle towed from speedy at a great price and theyll check my vehicle to let me know exactly what the issue is. They had my vehicle from Tuesday through Friday. On Friday morning I received a diagnostic report that totaled a bill over $1,000. Besides the towing fee of $105 and the diagnostic test of $150 the other was all for the car and majority of it was Labor. Labor was $195 an hour, the car part was double the price then what I could have ordered it for. I started to search around and was able to find a shop in Red Oak who would accept the diagnostic results and fix my car at their shop. They were able to tow my vehicle from duncanville to Red Oak for $80. I was paying City Garage $105 for towing it from Danieledale and Clark to Cedar Ridge and Big Stone Gap...thats less than 5 minutes from each other. I could have pushed the vehicle up there and saved that $105 only if I knew. Steven told me that the towing price was a flat rate. I asked if they offered any discounts and I was told that they offered 10% military discount which I would have qualified for but there was a cap at $50... really? For a bill that was going to Total over $1,000 and only receive a $50 discount anything is good but I was expecting great. My car is now waiting to be serviced at another location after it is completed I will go and provide a review for that company.

Great service! I am on cross country road trip and was having some car issues. I stopped by and they fixed my car. They were so nice and helpful. I would recommend this place to everyone!

I bought an older model SUV that was not properly maintenance. I took it in to City Garage b/c it keep going dead after I drove it. I was greeted by Mark and told him what my problem was and that I needed to have my battery terminals replaced. My vehicle was also leaking fluid, and Mark offered to do a 5 point inspection if I brought it back the next morning. When I brought it back the next morning, City Garage was able to pinpoint exactly where the leak was coming from and also brought to my attention other problems as well. Thanks to them I know what needs to be done to have my vehicle running smoothly.

Steve was very friendly and helpful at the front desk. The shop fixed the coolant leak issue and did a great job. Picked up the car and got 6 miles away when the CEL came on again. We took it back and Mark found a different issue and fixed it right then. Thank you Mark, Steve, and the rest of City Garage #4!!

I have been trying to find a shop that is honest and does good work. I love how they have proof of everything that is wrong with the car so you are not afraid of them trying to charge you for something that doesnt need to be fixed. Will be going here from now on for all my car needs.

I have lived near City Garage for some time. Every time I drive past the business, theyre incredibly busy. Went there to get my brakes repaired and I already checked pricing before just so I knew the approximate low abd high end cost for the repairs. Stephen (hope I spelled his name correctly) was really nice and very apologetic for the long wait. Im definitely satisfied with the work they did and I will definitely be back to complete some of the recommended items for servicing. Thank you!

Very easy, professional service. Simply dropped my car off, they texted after diagnostics, then texted (& called) once finished. I enjoyed being able to choose what services I wanted done via the link texted to me. Honestly could not have gone more ideally. Id been stressed for a while about my breaks and city garage got them back in perfect working order! Ive been going to this location a long time and will continue to do so - they only get better.

They refuse to instal my own parts i wanted to bring to this place for my car. This is ridiculous, who you can refuse a labor service? This is not proffesionalism at all and i went stright to MIDAS instead and they put them without any kind of absurd restrictions. I dont recomend this place.

Great shop to fix your car I had a problem with a fuse getting blown out in my car they fixed it like magic idk what they did and they told me they didnt find any faults but it is still working till this day when it use to go out in 2days or less I appreciate yall keep up the good work

This was the first time using City Garage in Duncanville and they did a great job. Had to replace the starter and serpentine belt on my Toyota Sienna van. It was taken care of promptly, and they communicated with me very well.

I did some research and saw great reviews from this location and decided to bring my Cadillac there for a alignment.My current alignment was so out of wack I the car was a danger to drive even on backroads. These guys have my car back driving like a Cadillac. I was greeted as soon as I opened the door ( which is unlike most auto shops), told up front what would be done and when car will be ready. And everything went as promised. Definitely recommend this crew of guys.👌

I came into the Duncanville location on today not knowing I had a lot of issues with my car and the manager, Marcus thats only here today from the location in Grand Prairie, Texas was very professional he explained everything to me in normal terms and not mechanic terms. Manager Marcus and Jordan both just took time out to let me know what was going on. The atmosphere is very welcome and I will be back and I just want everybody to know this is a good location with good people thats not trying to get over on you.City Garage yall make sure yall do everything yall can to keep people like Marcus around for a long time.

We have had our car worked on there and also done inspections there. They are timely EXCELLENT mechanics FRIENDLY and QUICK. A GREAT shop to take your car to. We RECOMMEND it.

I had an oil change done on my Subaru and they promptly took my car even though I walked in without an appointment. The next day I noticed a little bit of oil was leaking on my garage floor and they promptly sent somebody to the house to take my car back to the shop to diagnose the problem which was nothing more than a corroded gasket and they replaced that for free which is amazing. They then return my car to me. Now thats service right? Kind of like the old timey doctors that made house visits, kind of unheard of these days. Very kind and courteous staff here, will definitely be taking my car back here as it is close by.

Being in the automotive industry over 20 years, I very seldom have to visit a repair shop. With that being said, I was in a situation where I had to take my vehicle to a shop. These guys were professional, didnt upsell anything that wasnt needed and were very knowledgeable. I have already recommended several people.

It’s rare to take your car in to the mechanic thinking you’re about to put down $200 to fix something and be told there is actually nothing wrong with it. The people at City are honest enough to not charge you for things that don’t need to be fixed. That’s something to celebrate in an auto repair shop!

Everyone here is amazing! I got my Toyota Camry Towed here they offered me a ride back. Not only did they fix it in a timely manner it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg. They also offer AAA discounts.Today I had an appointment to get my oil changed in Mansfield and for some odd reason I kept missing the freeway entrance. I went to the nearest tire shop to see what this clicking noise was since it was on the way. For the third time no tire shop could tell me what it was. I decided to cancel my appointment and head over to City Garage because they never seem to fail us ( my mom and I). Long story short... I had loose bolts all of them in my back tire. My entire tire could have fallen off at any given moment.Thank you Israel and the whole team at City Garage Duncanville 😇

My first time there. Everyone very friendly and helpful. Was getting oil change and inspection. Needed a new gas cap to pass inspection, they were so nice and had one delivered, so I didnt have to go Get it. . Definitely will go back when its time for next oil change. And the lobby is very clean. The reason I say this, Ive seen not so clean places. 😃

This place has always gone the extra mile, will pick you up or give you a ride if needed, always honest too. Multuple times had issues that could have cost a lot to fix but they found a small fix so didnt charge to do a service that wasnt needed. Example was I thought my alignment was off but some of the linkage was loose on the front end, instead of charging the alignment, they tightened the linkage and said test it out first. Maybe a little more expensive than some but worth it.

This was for a state inspection excellent device.

Took my vehicle in today for an oil change and so glad I did. I typically take it to the dealership but the wait there was going to be 2 hours, which was longer than I wanted to wait. They took me as a walk in and were able to get me in and out in 30-40 minutes. James was very professional and courteous, provided cost upfront and advised what was being done. The waiting room is clean and comfortable. I will definitely be back!

James and Gina were professional and very friendly. They were knowledgeable and ethical. They did my inspection fast and for free. They completed my repair work faster than I expected, gave me a rewards membership, and did a good job. I will definitely be back. It is important for me to have a mechanic I can trust.

Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They keep me informed during the whole appointment. Also, the mechanic and manager made sure that I understood what they were doing and also why repairs needed to be made. We actually live 4 hours away and we’re in town for a few days but we will be driving back so that we can return to this garage for future repairs when they arise.

Took my vehicle in today for a brake repair. The team did a thorough check of my entire vehicle, was upfront about costs and time. I recieved a call within an hour giving me an estimate which was very affordable. They knew I was on a budget and made sure to take care of the big issue...my brakes.They also sent me an email that listed things that I need to have checked out soon. Honesty, great communication and affordability! I will be returning and highly recommend City Garage.

I have never been to a City Garage before. Went in to get brakes inspected as I was hearing a noise (brakes were fine). They showed me my tires that were ready to blow, one showing metal through the treads and the other with an embedded screw. They highly recommend that I get new tires, which I immediately did. They also fixed my hanging heat shield that was dragging on the road at times.They were extremely helpful, honest and nice. So if you need a garage that you can trust, you should give City Garage a try. This place has earned my future business....

Great customer service and communication

1st Gina is a God send. She is the sweetest and she was so open and honest with me during the whole process. They thought with everything they needed to do that I would have to leave my car, but they double teamed and finished it quicker because they cared that I needed to get my kids. I ran out of time and had to go back the next day for my oil change. I was actually looking forward to going back. My car never drove this well. I cannot thank them enough. The cost was half of what others told me and the crew was really knowledgeable. Best experience with a car repair shop ever.

They did a fast good job patching my tire. They did discover an issue with the tire and recommended a new tire at some point. I might have drove with low psi for too long. The service desk technician even replaced one of the air nozzle caps I was missing. Great service, would recommend.

Funny thing happened on the way to get my car inspected. The business I normally go to was having issues with their equipment and said, that place over there on the corner does inspections also. That place just happened to be City Garage. I checked in and engaged in conversation with a customer who told me she brings her car there for everything. I took note of that remark and then listened as she was checking out. She was told that they were not going to have to sell her anything extra today. What? No up selling to make a profit? I was only there for an inspection and an oil change but they did not up sell me either. What is this world coming to? I was impressed by that and also impressed by the friendly service. I can not speak of any car repairs or other services but I would recommend City Garage. James and Dylan were on duty that morning. Excellent job men.

The mechanic was great as well. Very nice. I didnt quite catch his name but he was tall. I will definitely be returning!

I found this place from AAA and they are the best, I am new to DALLAS abd was looking for a reliable automotive mechanic for my car, and I have found it,. I have been there a few times and have not been disappointed. They are quick and do a very good job, plus you can earn points on repairs to go towards your next visit, I got a free car inspection because of the cash I accumulated from past repairs.

Ive been a City Garage customer since Ive moved to Duncanville 5 years ago. The staff there is knowledgeable, the service is great and the prices are fair. A car has to be maintained and I like knowing I have a place I trust. I have no complaints with their service.

I feel that I was deceived by the general manager because he told me that I didn’t have an inspection sticker so I told him to do it. However I had just purchased on the car a few days ago and it had the dealers tag on it. When I picked up the car, he told me I needed to call the dealer first before getting the registration...well he didn’t bother saying that before I paid for an inspection. Come to find out, the dealer had already sent me the metal plates with the inspection sticker. I spoke to James the next day & explained & he promised to give me a $25.50 credit on my next visit.
