My first time at Precision Tune Auto care was a great experience. Max was very professional, polite and helpful answering my questions on the phone and when I came in, she took care of my car. Great price for oil change too. I will be returning for my next oil change!
Once I called for oil change price from Lexus RX and she said need to look at the car. I do not understand why they need to look at the car. I went there and asked for my car make and model and they said $ 29.99 plus tax. Once I went for payment they asked for $46.77 with tax. I asked why this high so they said they need to open cover to access oil filter and they charged $ 10 extra. If they know what they are doing then they should not how to access oil filter. They ripped off me for no reason. I will never go to Precision.
Girl at front promised a discount, and she never gave me one. Told me to not bother looking up and online discount because she would “hook me up”. It took 3 people to spend 5 minutes to figure out how to open the bottom of my car to dispose of the oil. Just go to Jiffylube next door, the price difference isn’t much, and you’ll have a better peace of mind.

As I am sitting here listening to Nancy Liu, the owner, speak to customers on the phone, I am disgusted. She is condescending and is a liar. Customers are calling to speak to the technician about their vehicles and she is blatantly lying to them. Her tone and negativity to the technicians goes against everything I believe in. Her lack of customer service is off the charts.There are FAR TOO MANY options to have your car serviced. Run, don’t walk, away from here. Don’t even come here, go to Jiffy next door. Anywhere but here.

Worth management and trying to lie everything in my face if I’m a mechanic as well and work for the dealership I specifically told them what I need and they started to charge extra stuff and unnecessary stuff in to my bill

It’s disappointing and sad when a business is after your money more then doing quality work. It’s sad how times have changed for the worst. Please beware of this business. Very unprofessional and place smelled a lot of marijuana. Not only are they unprofessional they are also dishonest. Did more damage to my car then what it had. Then tried to deflect what they did wrong on something else. Came back for a third time to see if they could tell me what was going on. How can you diagnose the problem when you haven’t even look at the car. This business will only get .5 of a star.
Work on cleanliness and not leaving oil marks in the vehicle. Need to wear masks and make sure everything is placed back in its original position.

I came to visit this shop on 11/29/19 and upon walking in to the shop I was greeted with a friendly smile by the receptionist Jennifer. The shop was clean and smelled great and my service by Raymond and Maxx was excellent. I was so impressed that I had my friend come over and have his vehicle serviced as well. We will be coming here from now on!!

I have been going to them since i moved to GA and being that I’m a women and auto shops and dealers like to take advantage of us especially when your alone, I love the fact that didn’t happen here! They always explain what the problem is, what needs to be fixed immediately and what could wait! I never feel like that are trying to charge me more! Compared to other auto shops in the area the pricing is amazing! Very reasonable! If someone is out of pocket the owner and the manager don’t hesitate to correct them! I trusted Raymond the lead mechanic with fixing up my Infiniti G35s when in fact he has done more damage than actual quality work. It became a habit as often I was at this shop. He would claim to fix one thing only for it to be another problem weeks later. Recently Ive had an Infiniti specialist do a diagnostic on my Infiniti only to informed that the work Raymond claimed to do was done poorly and/or not done at all but he definitely took about $3000 for total repairs. They are not trust worthy especially being a female whos clueless to cars. Beware!
Raymond is tremendous. I brought him an incorrect part to change my wheel bearing hub (100% my own fault), and he had to perform twice as much labor to complete the job. He didnt charge me the next time. I will absolutely return to PTAC Duluth for my car needs. (2008 Saturn 100k miles)
Got me in and out in about an hour and very good price on full synthetic oil change, but told I needed a new air filter and minutes later, they brought out a filthy cabin filter. The mechanic said it was mine and he believed it was the original filter, but it should be changed every 30,000 miles. I pulled out my old receipts to find they changed it less than two years ago (for $20 cheaper than their now discounted price), and its been less than 25,000 miles. The explanation was: new management/computer system so they dont have access to those records. $109 later (including $20 for labor), Im now wondering if I actually received a full synthetic oil change...

It was my first time getting an oil change after buying the car. I came in with a coupon for $37.95 on a 5 quart full synthetic oil change. They said they would honor the coupon. Midway one of the techs tried to upsell me on the air filters which were overpriced. I declined but he was persistent, until I had to say no a third time. When the car was ready the total came out to $47.83...without notifying me they went ahead and put in 0.7 quarts more on the oil. I understand the higher cost of synthetic oil, but most people would let you know if its going to cost you more than the price that got you through the doors in the first place. I wont be going back and I recommend you find a more transparent place.

I wish my experience with Precision Auto Tune was as great as other customers. I had to have my car towed to Precision Auto because my car leaked all the oil after they “fixed” everything that needed to be repaired. I spoke with the manager Raymond and he stated he would fix the problem as well as cover the towing fee. He lied! He said that the issue was nothing that him or any of his mechanics did(which I don’t know that to be true). Therefore the towing expense wasn’t covered! I could have had a mechanic close to my home fix the problem.
SCAM ARTIST!!! Just left this place. They are deliberately doing something to the cars or saying you have extra problems to get more MONEY out of you. I took a brand new jeep up there never had one issue, NEVER! I go up there for a oil change, came out a day later the oil censor light continuously comes on. I thought it may need oil. I check it, put a quart in. It goes off. Couple days later comes right back on. I take it back the guys says, its just a little too much oil in it, let me drain some out for you. 10 minutes later sends some one else, a black guy. Which to me instantly let me know it was a problem, because why wouldnt the same guy tell me whats up? I go look under the car and this guy proceeds to tell me its a oil sensor out and it need to be replaced. I instantly lost it, because and no way shape or form am I clueless about cars. No one had anything to say, they spend more time trying to get me out then actually explaining how or where it came from. These people are complete SCAM ARTIST. I advise everyone not to go there save your money.
Today Im giving them a down grade because of the services recently rendered to my husband. The younger guys that have taken over this particular location need some customer service training. The manager David is in way over his head. He should maybe, hold a hiring event and start over. I gave it three stars for his professionalism in handling the conflict appropriately and diligently.
I used to get all my oil changes here, and the staff was always friendly and caring for your auto needs. The last time I went was today, there was a really rude mechanic. He told me he cant check my car fluids, because he cant put it in the computer. He said that would be doing side work. So now I dont know if my car needed a service, since this auto care place does not offer to check your car.
DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. RAYMOND THE MANAGER IS VERY RUDE AND AGGRESSIVE ! I went in for a basic oil change. I made it very clear from the beginning that all I wanted to pay for was an oil change that cost $17.90 around $20.00 with tax. When it was time for me to pay I was told the total would be $29.00. The cause of that was because they said they had to remove a part to complete the oil change, why wasnt I told this before hand is beyond me. I told him I was not paying for a service that I DID NOT request. He proceeding to snatch my keys from my hand which caused me to call the police. When the police came he lied and said he did not snatch my keys from me and that I was also informed of the charge when I wasnt. The police forced me to pay for the service or I would go to jail. I will never in my life do business with these scammers ! I am completely shocked by the way they handle business. A ZERO star is the most appropriate. I will be contacting corporate as well as the Better Business Bureau.

Lewis showed me exactly what was wrong with my car and I am grateful for their extra-mile customer service. I will be going to them for ALL my 14 year old cars needs. Nobody cares at this location, except for one employee. She was standing up for the ones who don’t care at about the job! I went in for an Oil Change& a tire rotation! Get this, they only have ONE drill in the whole shop!! I was here for more the an hour. Smh, the guy was on his phone most of the time and not paying attention to his job.. just save yourself the time and go somewhere else..

Maegan, the new manager, is kicking butt and taking names. She is awesome. She got right to the bottom of why the serpentine belt I got there 13 months ago is already split. Josh missed it, but she didnt. However, once I got the price to replace the power steering pump, pulley, and a new Serpentine belt- even with Maegan giving me a 15% discount, I couldnt afford it. It is a $500 ++ job.
My experience was great sometimes you have to pay a little more for quality and overall maintenance for your car. But its worth it knowing that will improve the overall quality of my vehicle.
I was there at 12:10 and the Lady running the desk said about 20 minutes so I went to pickup something to eat which was fine with her. I was back by 12:35. I assumed that I was next in line. It took them till 1:30 to complete the oil change. No explanation for delays. Will not be going back there.
The drain plug had been stripped from the last oil change i did here in june of 2018 with the previous owner and they never did anything about it but the new owner Nancy haf it fixed for me. The new manager Raymond is great and very friendly as well as the rest of the crew. They fixed my car and gave me a free oil change. Great service .I definitely recommend this shop.
Raymond the store owner was helpful and advised me on my cars preventative maintenance while I was there for an oil change. I have gotten my oil changed here before and they are always a good place to get your car back on the road.

This automotive shop is under new management-- and its a woman!! Yeah! Girl power. She definitely has the shops inner workings better organized than before. There has been a lot of prior turn over in staffing, and I think Megan is just the lady to whip things into shape. I had a serpentine belt issue where a new belt was splitting again, and Megan encouraged the mechanic to really look hard as to what could be making this happen. They found the pull your was wearing out, and had ridges and grooves that were making S-belts split! The guy before her, Josh, completely missed that. Way to go, Meagan.
I purchased a drop in replacement engine for my truck and had the work done at this location. I was verbally quoted 10 hours for the job to be completed several times by Josh himself.It took them 6 full weeks to finally call and tell me they were finished, I paid them that day by credit card but before I was able to pick up my truck, they called again and said there was a vacuum leak and it would be another day or two. 8 days later, I had to call them to ask what was going on and they told me there was now a fuel leak. 6 more days went by with no word from them so, I was forced to call a tow truck and have it taken somewhere else.Though I was able to drive my vehicle in to have the work started, 2 full months had passed with my truck in their possession and It was essentially in worse condition than when I had dropped it off because I had to pay to have it towed to another mechanic to have the work completed. (One who was able to assess and repair the damage they had caused and have me back on the road in less than 2 days.)The money it cost me however, to repair not only the damage they did to my vehicle while it was in their possession (inside and out) but to also complete the work they were already paid in full to do, far exceeded the amount I was initially quoted to have the job done there originally.If youre thinking of having work done here, you should seriously re-think it. Even if you find yourself broken down right in front of this location, do yourself a favor and pay to have it towed to a reputable mechanic. In the long run, it will save you not only time and money but also the headaches of having to deal with the substandard, careless workmanship provided there and the string of new mechanical issues that will likely occur as a result.

GREAT customer service. Used a coupon for a $45 full synthetic oil change after taxes/fees. $10 extra charge based on the type of oil filter they have to replace (They told me up front, which I appreciate. I can’t stand it when I’m at the auto shop and they come in the middle of servicing my car to tell me about random things that will cost more). It took 40 MINUTES FLAT from the time I stepped in to the time I drove away. That shocked me to my core! I definitely recommend and will be back.

Buyer beware. This place is atrocious. Let me start by saying that I went there this morning at 8:30 AM and I was the only customer, so after 1 hour for an oil change, I get me Infiniti back with oil everywhere on the vehicle and inside of the vehicle. I almost didnt allow them to change my oil when I saw how filthy the place was and how filthy the employees were. I felt like this was going to happen to my vehicle. I am not letting this go, I will be placing a review on every site and suing them for my money back, loss of time and a complete detail on my vehicle.
I got here early. The consultation was spot...on the service professional and accurate. It took about 30 minutes to complete a premium plus oil change. The guy even showed me my new filter upgrade. The waiting area is cool and quiet. Im excited they even accept Amex.
The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, the prices were great, and they got me in and out quickly. I will definitely be a repeat customer.

Well, I just happened to be sitting in the lobby where I could see into the shop. They were lifting my vehicle and pushing the top of it into their sliding garage doors. I had to run out and tell them to stop. Also, checking in and checking out was extremely slow. But they did do the oil change I paid for it, so thats why they get a 2 and not a 1 for probably damaging my vehicle

So I went next door to Jiffy Lube and they took care of me no questions asked... So I called to speak to Chris an he HUNG UP ON ME!!! NEVER AGAIN!! I HATE LEAVING BAD REVIEWS!!! I AM A FAIR PERSON BUT TO NOT EVEN RECEIVE A SERVICE AN BE TREATED LIKE THAT UNACCEPTABLE!!!Disclaimer: Ive been a loyal customer this is the first time Ive been to this location in been treated unfairly.
Do not come to this place. This is a scam and a rip off. They try to get you to get additional work on your car done and most if not all of their suggestions are not needed. If i could give them negative stars i would give this place a negative five. I literally live less than a mile from their location and my car wouldnt start after sitting in the parking lot for two hours. They guy tried to say he heard a problem worth the battery but never mentioned that. He only mentioned the engine and transmission. And never once notated it on the paperwork. Then he said the check engine light was on but it wasnt before or after he serviced my car. And again, why not mention this to me!?

DONT BELIEVE THE FAKE REVIEWS...I went in for a routine oil change on my car which has a few dings in its body but hasnt had any issues for yrs. I was told had multiple leaks and should take my car to pull a part. Mind you my car is next to brand new minus the dings and the only leak is from the wind shield . I left after the oil change now my check engine light is on. From observing how they were dealing with other female customers and myself I feel like they were scamming or being dishonest to say the least. AVOID,AVOID,AVOID......

Horrible Experience3/26/18-Took vehicle to Precision Tune, Duluth due to check engine light & running rough. Mechanic called, vehicle needs tune up. After tune up, mechanic said vehicle still running rough, ignition coil needs to be replaced. They did work, received call, still runs rough. Mechanic thinks it is fuel pump related. Replaced fuel pump. Received call, during fuel pump replacement, battery died. Without my consent, put new battery in. Mechanic said will waive labor to offset cost. Battery replaced was only 1.5 yr old. 4/5/18-Mechanic called, vehicle ready to go. At 4:30PM, Mechanic called in sorrowful voice asking if Im on my way. He said truck not running right as he drove out of garage. Asked to keep it a few more days to figure out whats wrong. They already had vehicle for 9 days. I gave them a surprise visit. I started my vehicle, it ran worse than when I took it to shop. It was running extremely rough, engine light on, back-firing. Im upset! Mechanic said it could be transmission related. I just replaced transmission 26,000 miles ago. Asked to see certifications, one mechanic said he is not certified, but he knows everything. Both mechanics looked like teenagers fresh out of HS. I asked to speak to GM. GM is at different shop location. On phone he said one employee could drive vehicle to other shop 10mi away. After thinking it over, they could do more damage by driving truck to other shop and charge me for it. Had really bad vibes about whole company, decided to pay over $1100 and drove my truck, worse than before, 3mi to Tires Plus, could not drive over 35mph, back-firing, emergency lights on. Tires Plus corrected issue in two days. Tires Plus (TP) corrected tune up done incorrectly, plugs/wires in wrong order that caused back-firing. TP replaced fuel pump. It was wrong fuel pump for vehicle. Initial problem of check engine light was due to fuel injector, and not related to anything Precision Tune worked on. Paid TP $700 for fuel injector and $700 for fuel pump replacement. Other parts on vehicle affected after Precision Tune job: radio not working, blown fuse. Contacted Precision Tune GM, ask refund for faulty, guessing-game work done on vehicle. GM very defensive, not apologetic in any way. Said there is no correct order for wires/plugs. LIE. GM refused to do anything. When I told him I have no other course but to take legal action he said hell call me back. Have not heard from him ever since!

Believe this review, over $500.00 spent and same problems. Believe others, that have reviewed this place and stay away. ( $380.00 in labor) 50.00 for a Coolant Flush .... Stay away they do absolutely nothing! The office is dirty, the workers look dirty. Nothing good comes from this place! STAY AWAY!

The manager Josh is a scam artist. Ive been going to this location for years for my reg oil changes....but never any actual work on my car. But bc my reg mechanic was overbooked I opted for these guys. I needed to re-register my car, but my check engine light was on so it wouldnt pass. I had auto zone pull the codes and brought them to PTAC. Josh walked me through the usual causes for the specific codes I had. So I bought the parts he suggested. And under an hour after leaving the shop....my check engine light came back on. I drove back up there....he suggested a diagnostic for $75...I got it....he told me what part Id need. He even wrote it down. I bought the part he installed it....and again....the check engine light came on not long after leaving. I drove back up and he told me it was the wrong part and hed switch it for the right one. He did....or at least I hope he did. I drove off....and again the check engine light came back on. A few days later I came back and requested for my egr valve/port to be cleaned. It took half a day....but the car made it home without the check engine light coming on. But later that night when I started the car hoping to add miles on before I take the emissions test......the car sounded like it would barely make it out my neighborhood! I had to have my car TOWED to my actual mechanic who immediately sent me multiple pictures of the damaged intake manifold (part of my egr system). I called the shop to see if we could come to an agreement on how to fix the matter.....but I was met with aggressive denial. The next day I went to the shop and showed josh the pictures....and he still aggressively denied it. But.....offered a used replacement. I agreed. I called him on the day of....and he basically said no...he had nothing to do with it.....he has it on video he didnt touch the manifold...gave an unapologetic sorry....and hung up on me. But after some googling and you tubing.....in order to clean my egr valve/port.....youd have to make contact with intake manifold....which he said he didnt touch. But I paid $150 for that service alone......so if he didnt touch my intake manifold....which is now damaged....to clean the egr valve/port.....then what did I pay for? Scammed. This place is trash. Im currently waiting to hear from corporate on this matter. But I am without a doubt prepared to file a claim for all the money Ive lost and am losing....and all the drama Ive had to endure bc Josh....the manager....refuses to fix what he left wrong. If they fix this issue...then I will happily take this down....but till then.....

I went to that place for just an oil change. A guy came out and said he can get it done by 11pm (it was 5pm) or drop my van and come back tomorrow in the morning to pick it up. I guess he wants me to go home walking and come back the same way next day.....
They tried to charge me $60 for $10 air filter. I will never visit this place. And staff reaction was VERY disappointed and unprofessional. Scammy people.
