Got my M6 fixed quick as usual!!!! I only wish they took BTC as payment lol. Great team in Duluth.
Horrible, never doing business with them again. I suggest you really read the reviews before visiting.
The sale man and was great about explaining everything.
Brought my mercedes in for oil and transmission service and Steve was able to get it done same day at a reasonable price
Steve now how to run a business. Great shop without the surprise pricing of other European repair shops. Would recommend to anyone.
I wrote down my mileage before and after the repair. Although they seemed nice and had fair prices, the guy at the front desk said he drove my car 20-25 miles, which is already a bit much. When I checked afterwards, he had put 40 miles on my car and gone through half a tank of gas. Got a little mad when I called him on it too, saying they “do that to make sure everything works.” So what was the 30 other miles for?? I also specifically remember the guy saying he took my car home over a call, which I don’t think he meant to have said. In conclusion, write down your mileage.
Steve and his crew have always been up front honest, polite, and fair with me. I was recommended to his shop, after receiving an astronomical quote for my 2009 128i.He looked at the car, gave me an estimate which was half the dealers. Gave me a ride home and picked me up the day when the car was ready. He has done numerous jobs on my BMW and my wife’s Benz. Never had a problem or bad experience. Don’t pay extra for the repairs at dealer unless you have money to throw away or like the free coffee and snacks. This is my shop for ever. I only wish is that he does plumbing and electrical repairs at my house.
Great service, cheap.
I have been a customer at German Motor Works for over 25 years! They are ALWAYS most prompt, professional, efficient and knowledgeable of taking care of my vehicles. The prices are reasonable and the service is outstanding ! I cannot say enough great things about this company! They have always kept my cars in excellent condition!
I am very happy with their service. They are very professional and efficient. Absolutely the fairest price and best place to bring your vehicles for repair. Steve is honest to a fault and always explains the repair and costs. I wouldn’t take my car anywhere else.
This is the second BMW that Ive owned and have taken both to German Motor Works. Steve has already been upfront and honest with me, providing very detailed explanations and answering all my questions. Even when my daughter was in college out-of -state, I still preferred to bring the car to Steve, when possible, and when I was unable to he still helped me hold the other mechanic honest by refuting their diagnosis. Steve and German Motor Works have definitely earned my trust!!!
No wait, was able to get in easilyThis place is very expensive. I paid $35 to change a battery. I was referred here by a friend of mine. Used my own battery from Costco. The Costco salesman.said max to install is $15 -$20 if you are feeling generous. Called Firestone after the fact and they said $15. So buyer beware. Know your prices and ask beforehand.I called the owner and mentioned it. He said that he spent 15 mins and that is how much his labor cost is. My regular mechanic was closed for extended fathers day so used this place.Think he is not familiar with Japanese cars i.e. Lexus as he had to look online couple of times to figure how to open the trunk of my car with a bad battery.
I have taken my car to this shop several times for various work and they are always up front and clear on the work that needs to occur. They explain what I need and what I dont need and are cost conscious of what I can afford at the time of the work. There parts are cheaper than the dealership and I find the work to be excellent.
Great service and prices as well! Steve was great and I will take my car there for any work I need done, and Im VERY picky about anything to do with my car!
Quality. Honest. Fair. What more could you ask for? Steve was terrific to work with and their quality and pricing is best in class. Ive found a new service home for my 2012 BMW.
Dealership wanted to charge triple. Found this place of a gem and he fixed my Volvo in 1 day for 2 times less than the dealership !!!! I wanted to cry when I saw my car fixed. Thank you so much ! May God continue to bless your business !
Been using these guys for 13+ yrs now. Great service & very knowledgeable but more importantly, very trustworthy.
I have been to these guys a few times now. Friendly people who do a nice job at a fair price! Even better is that they turn it around quickly!
A little pricey but thats expected for BMW service. This was my 4th time going and it seems like the prices go up each time. I guess all businesses are suffering from the pandemic.
Not very trustworthy, owner uses a lot of car terminology to convince customer of knowledge of foreign vehicles but actually after the repair only quick fix is provided. Owner is very persuasive with customer earning your trust but very easily lets you down. I have shamefully taken my car their on 2 occasions. On the first one, the owner tried to convince me the black dirt/grease was in my front seat when I initially dropped of the car. I quickly corrected him as he attempted to wipe out the seat. 2nd time the battery I purchased could only be purchased through BMW in order to have a warranty was 100$ overpriced (Price of battery with labor) vs actually purchasing directly through BMW dealership as well as Kaufman Tire. The owner wouldnt even give me the physical receipt nor a copy after requesting once the battery was installed. Please take caution before using this repair shop. Get quotes and do not get blind sited with the auto terminology thrown at you!
These guys are great!! They got me in and out same day and prices where very reasonable.
Great job, good price! What do you want more?I sent out 5 offer requests, I was either ignored (so BMW of Gwinnett Place!!!) or answered with a price incomprehensibly high!It was discouraging and then I found a recommendation of GMW (Steve) on Nextdoor and wrote to them. Steve replied to me the same day and the work done next day after a phone call to arrange a show up time!
Steve was great, and prices were way better working on my 740li than anywhere else, will be back
Great service with honest prices. Thank you for fixing my Moms car. Steve was a lifesaver.
Since Im new in town, when my check engine light came on I went to my local dealership. They told me I needed a new battery and some type of control module that would cost $1800.00. I approved the job and the dealer called me 2 days later upon completion, only to find the check engine light was still on. They told me they couldnt get the light to turn off since the intake and exhaust have been modified. I had them reinstall my original parts and took the car to German Motor Works. Thankfully I landed at the right place! The owner, Steve took my car in that morning and called me back at lunch with the diagnosis and made the repairs that day for less than $500.00.Great Job German Motor Works!
Great service
Bruce tiger. I thought lion right mark.
I have been going to German Motor Works for years and trust these guys with my car. They have always provided great service at a reasonable price.
They are amazing quick and fast. My car runs perfectly after taking it to them.
Great service and was very fast with the car!!!!The techs were very great with the knowledge of the car. Great pricing!!!!!!
Steve and his team provide quality service and workmanship at reasonable prices.
This place sucks! The mechanic named Steve put an unnecessary part on my husbands vw only to say that the only place it can be fixed is at the dealership. Then why advertise that you can?? If you have a vw dont bring it here. Not only that when we picked it up my husband starts to try and drive and we get maybe 100 yards from the place because it was unable to be driven! He calls the man and he said that he thought we were having it towed?? We drove it there, why would we think that we needed to? So we took it there to pay for parts we didnt need and to make the car worse than it was....
Fix your Mercedes or BMW real good for a moderate price
They took great care of my mother in law.
I brought my 3 series in because I was told I needed an alternator by the dealer. After Steve looked at it, he found that a bad wire was causing the problem, which saved me a lot of money. I will not take my car anywhere else.
Great prices, friendly, and quick.
Dust filter, cabin filter, oil filter, engine oil, brake fluid = $188 + $350 labor = senseless
