Bought a brand new Nissan Frontier there yesterday I must say it was a very pleasant experience. They knew I had a very bad experience at a different dealer while attempting to purchase a vehicle the day before and they did everything they could to go above and beyond to treat me with respect and make me feel comfortable. They did not give me that shady feeling that they were up to something they were very straight forward with everything. I am very happy with their service and how the sale went. Very pleasant experience. People were very friendly. I was informed that they were a tech short and the wait would take a little longer than normal. I did not have a problem with that as long as they were up front with me and let me know why. Will definitely go back. Ask to have them rotate the tires because my indicator said that it was time. I had just put new tires on in February and didn’t know if it was reset or not. They told me all the tires were at 100% and didn’t need to be rotated. That was good to see that they checked them before doing the work. Great job!!!!!!

We had a very pleasing experience at Deery Brothers of Dubuque. Sales personnel were very courteous and accommodating. Our purchase was handled in a timely manner and things were explained in detail.
Part of the appt.was to rotate the tires. Assuming that was done I was disappointed all 4 tires were 5 lbs. low in tire pressure as they were when I brought it in. I assumed wrong that tire pressure would be brought up to spec with the rotation service. Knowing this I question how comprehensive the multi point inspection was.
9/7 permission given to replace transmission. Will take two days to get in and 13 hours to replace. Will provide a 30 percent goodwill discount. 😊9/17 called Deery. Starting work on it today. Should be done Monday the 20th.9/21 called Deery. Should be done tomorrow.9/23 called Deery. Mechanic is sick, call tomorrow. Asked for and received loaner vehicle.9/28 crickets....9/28 they called me! Transmission replaced. Went to pick up. They couldnt find the ticket. They did let me take the vehicle home.9/29 paid Deery.9/30 called Deery. They replaced a three year old battery without permission. The office manager did deduct the cost of the battery.I understand the workplace issues. Communication would have gone a long way in my satisfaction with Deery. I appreciate d the goodwill discount and the office manager did a great job. The service department needs some training on keeping customers informed.
Good service and fast transaction. If you want a smooth transaction look for Donny, he was our dealer and hes good at what he does. He often send us an update on the car that we ordered and is very helpful with the documents that the bank required.
Had a transmission problem with my car but had an extended warranty and took it to get repaired. Talked to the service department to get a diagnosis and an estimate for the extended warranty people. Three days went by and I never heard back from the dealership. I called them to see how it was coming along. They told me my extended warranty company denied it. So I called them up. The warranty people said that Deery Nissan never gave them a diagnosis or a estimate and was still waiting for them to call them back after the warranty company left them a message. So I called the dealership back and told them that the warranty never denied the claim and that they never returned there call with the diagnosis and estimate. This went on for 10 days. Nothing was getting done. Called the warranty people up again and they were still waiting for the estimate. I left at least 6 voicemails with the service department and never returned my call. Finally I called the dealership and asked to talk to the person who was handling my “case”. He said they were waiting for the extended warranty company to call them. But little did he know, I called them before I called the dealership. They still never gave them the diagnosis or estimate. By this time, l needed the car. So I told them to send the estimate and info they needed. The service department said it was going to take several days, maybe more, to get the parts. I gave them 12 days already. By this time, I had enough and went to another Nissan dealership. The worst experience I’ve ever had. Can people just be honest? I even told them if they didn’t have time to do it, let me know. And that was after day 3. Poorly run service. Very disappointed. Not going back
Everything was good. I especially like the new young man hired in the service department. He was very polite and you could tell he was trying hard. He did not have all the answers but was ok in asking for help. Be kind to him.
Was a wonderful experience. We went to test drive a certain truck and when it just didnt work for our family, Donny didnt give up and continued to try to find exactly what we were looking for. I love my new Nissan and when we go to buy our next vehicle it will be thru this dealership with Donny. We live over 100 miles away and will still buy our future vehicles from them!

Little to no communication from service department still waiting on a part so I can take my car back for the fourth time. Service advisor didn’t pass on the details of the car so had to take the car back again to do exactly what I told them the first time around. I told them when you hit 65 mph the wheel bearing would hum, but what do I know being a customer? Asked the mechanic riding with me what the service advisor told him and all he was told was rear end noise and nothing else. So I scheduled another time for them to fix the car and show up and sit for over a hour for them just to say they have the wrong part. It’s been over a week now since they said they were going to order the right part and haven’t heard nothing. Safe to say if the car wasn’t under factory warranty I would not be going there for service. I recommend anyone looking for a shop to do work avoid them if you’re able to!

Went to get a new car with my boyfriend as we paid off our old one and they had sent us a letter in the mail saying we could come in and get a ‘20-‘21 for the same payment. Our salesman had no idea what he was talking about, no people skills, their management was completely rude, decided not to honor the the paper they sent us and told us we needed to pay 8,000 down to even get within 200$ of our payment budget. Had no other decent options and not willing to work with us at all and just let us walk out. Completely bad vibes. Customer service just not it especially after just paying off a car through you and not missing a payment at all?? Whatever it’s fine, went to finnin Kia was in and out with AMAZING service and worked with us and our price range and put us in an amazing car WITH A 7 YEAR WARRANTY.

My WIFE AND I were treated very professionally. We are 82 yrs old and were running a late after driving 2 hrs. But I never heard a a complaint that we had to get going because of closing time. They were very detailed about the controls, switches, etc.
Mark is the salesperson who showed us the car. He was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the Rogue we were looking at and ultimately purchased. He went the extra mile, making sure we knew how to use all of the features on the Rogue before we left. He was also very easy to deal with when we had questions after we left. He told us not to hesitate to call him with anything else he could help us with.The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of five is that the finance guy (I dont remember his name) was overly pushy when trying to sell us extra warranty.

The MOST disappointing experience I have EVER had with a dealership! The installed a transmission when I bought the car a year and half ago. Within the first year, we had issues with the transmission. They had the car on and off for 3 months. The finally said it was the Transmission Control Module and it was NOT covered by the warranty. We sent in the TCM and it came back as nothing wrong other that a software update needed which was completed. i drive it for approx 6-8 months and started having issues again with the transmission. I took back to Deery Bros. they had it for almost a month! The first advisor told me that it was the TCM again but it also could be the wiring harness was damaged or pinched. ( this coyld have happened when they put the transmissionin when we bought it) Well I heard nothing back and I had to call and ask about my car! They said that the person I spoke with no longer worked there and that they had not gotten to looking at it yet. 1 week passed and they called me and told me it was the TCM. I explained the background on the car and what I was told by the previous advisor. They responded with Well that is why he doesn’t work here anymore. They refused to look into ANYTHING else. I finally just went to pick it up and we will be having another mechanic look at it. I will NEVER purchase from Deery Brothers again and I steer anyone that I know AWAY from them. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!
They were super helpful, quick, and cheap! They answered all my questions patiently and were very nice! As a woman, I often get talked down to in the car business. But I did not feel that way at all hear! I was basically in and out! Would definitely recommend to all Nissan owners!
My sales person (Donny) was very helpful with the online sale of a Cadillac XTS that I purchased from Deery Brothers. The transaction was quick and easy.Unfortunately the car was not gone through as thoroughly as it should have been... The following morning it was dead... A lot of corrosion on a very old battery... Nothing a jump and a trip to Batteries Plus didnt fix.Overall satisfied with the sale and I would do business with them again...
Are experience with Deery Motors Nissan of Dubuque was much better than I ever anticipated. We knew that we wanted a smaller suv and had done a lot of research and narrative down to 2, one being the Nissan Kicks the other one being the Hyundai Kona. We stopped at the Nissan dealer 1st because I thought that I wanted a Orange one, but the colour of Orange that the Nissan came in was not the colour Orange I was wanted. The Kona woz the colour Orange that I did want but the vehicle itself was not what I wanted you see I walk with a Walker and I need enough trunk space to accommodate carrying my Walker with me wherever I am going the Kona had a very very smalle trunk space where the kicks had a much larger and easier to use trunk space that turned out to be the winning The Kona was the colour Orange that I did want but the vehicle itself was not what I wanted. Not only was Lukas helpful but the franchise owner was also extremely helpful on the phone in being able to get us the vehicle that we desired that came from another state. Once we made the decision everything went relatively quickly and we had our vehicle within a very short period of time the vehicle is most impressive⁴. Took my infinity to their service department to get some issues fixed. Service technician was pretty knowledgeable and fixed most my issues. Charged me over $500 for 3hrs of labor no materials. Felt it was overly excessive and would not recommend.

I was at the start of a long road trip, and my car stalled on the road. I was towed to Deery Brothers, who quickly diagnosed that something in the air intake shook loose. No new parts were needed, and the charged me nothing for diagnosing and fixing the problem. I am grateful that they figured things out so quickly. Very courteous, professional service. Clean waiting environment, too.

I searched around for a newer Nissan Frontier and thought Id found the right one for me at Deery Brothers Nissan. It turned out not to be the truck I wanted but Jim Bentley went out of his way to find out what I was looking for and, a few weeks later, found the Frontier that was just what I needed. I found out that the staff at Deery will go above and beyond to put you in the right vehicle.
Just bought a used 2018 Nissan Leaf. (Love it!) In the dead of winter, the ABS system went out one day. They were able to get me in the next day: the problem seemed to have resolved itself. They hooked the Leaf up to the EV charger behind their garage to charge my battery while I sipped a hot coffee in a warm waiting room. Total charge: nada.My one concern: lots of people, employees and staff, wandering around the garage and the waiting area without masks. Added a worrisome note to an otherwise excellent day.
Recently bought a Chevy Silverado here and it was honestly one of the worst dealership experiences I’ve had. I took the truck for a test drive on a Friday and asked to see any repair info and inspection sheet when I got back. Salesman produced both stating they replaced a few things but one of the front CV boots was still torn and needed replacement. Why it wasn’t done in the first place puzzled me but they fixed it at my request. I also noted that the vehicle had no floor mats and that I would like some. Salesman stated that the vehicle was traded in like that and that it was on me to get some some and put them in there. Not being a Chevy dealer I understood a little but no offer to help get some or knock off a few bucks on the vehicle price to compensate was shown. The next day I came to finish paperwork and pick vehicle up and with it snowing that day I asked salesman if they could at least throw down some of the paper mats 99% of dealerships have and he went and threw some random plastic in there. After paperwork was done I asked the salesman if it was gassed up and ready to go and he stated “we don’t fill up used vehicles, only new ones” after which I blankly stared at the showroom floor at a brand new Nissan that cost thousands less than what I just spent on this truck. I’ve bought 3 different vehicles from 3 different dealerships all costing less and those vehicles were given to me detailed to perfection and a full tank of fuel ( twice on one of them) no questions asked. It’s clear customer satisfaction and care is at the very bottom of the spectrum here.I don’t recommend coming here.

Prior to purchasing a Nissan, I owned a Ford. I had countless bad experiences with the service department at Finnin Ford. I’d come to the conclusion that is was the norm in the industry. BUT, I was mistaken. I’ve owned an Armada for 2 years and every.single experience that I’ve had with Deery Nissan service department has been amazing! Jason Howard is always friendly, understanding and goes out of his way to make sure I have a 5 star experience!!
My salesperson Mark Simmons was spot on. He showed the cars we found online and explained the differences before the test drives. When we got back, he had the paperwork for each car printed out to make comparisons easier. What made it a perfect experience is his willingness to show us a car that we didn’t originally see online. He searched the inventory to find a car with the features we wanted without us asking. Instead of letting us settle for a nice car, he made sure we got the one that had everything we wanted.Mark made the experience completely comfortable by explaining the car features and helped set up all the features my wife needed. She went from hesitant to completely in love with the car. He made all the different.As for the everyone else, completely wonderful. Everyone was helpful, friendly, and the finance department was efficient and worked in my best interest. We got the certified vehicle and added the extended coverage for all other possible issues for ease of mind. After all that, it was still less than almost every dealerships in the 100 mile radius. I would definitely purchase from them again.

I think there should be better communication between the service department and the customer when their car is in for service and the service department doesnt know how long its going to fix the problem.

Thinking about a BMW? You may want to steer clear of Deery Brothers in Dubuque Iowa. My 2018 BMW had a problem a little over a year after I bought it. The computer blinked out one day and everything had to be reset. Phone, seat preset, radio presets and backup camera. I called and they didn’t know what could have caused it to happen. I reset everything hoping it would not happen again, well about a year and a half later it did. This time however it affected how the transmission shifted in sport and sport+. I took it to the dealership and for some reason the Service Advisor could not understand the difference between shifting gears and acceleration during a test drive. After repeated tries to make him understand he became upset and said he was done talking to me and sent the Fixed Operations Manager out. On our drive he was able to understand the problem and said he would email BMW and see what he could find out and call me in a day or two. I waited two weeks with no call so I called him and left a voice mail, but after a week he never called. So I called the Sales Manager and he assured me he would make sure the Fixed Operations Manager would call me. A week more and still no call. If they don’t know how to fix something they just ignore you. I will take it to another dealership. Should have started there.Response from the ownerDoug I am very disappointed my service dept didnt get ahold of you. Our service mgr will call you today 11/02/2020.Well, it has been over a week and I have heard nothing. I guess I am not the only one they ignore.Now it has been a month and still nothing. Either the service mgr doesnt care what the owner tells him to do, or the owner is oblivious or doesnt care also.

I found the experience was surprisingly easier than what I have in passed purchases for a car . Rene Kelly was very patient with me and took her time sorting out what was best for me. She has great people skills. She walked me through the facility and introduced me to the service area as if I was buying a expensive car. When it came down to the finances, I believe it was Brain who was more than helpful for the best deal and keeping within my budget. I would never of believed I would be driving out of there with a brand new car.The videos were helpful. Rene did a lot of hands on orientation with the car. This was a big plus for me. Still a lot of getting use to because of all of the bells and whistles I’m not use to.I woke up the next day to make sure it really happened. 2019Murano had been giving warning notice that the front radar had an obstruction. I told service that when I took it in for routine maintenance. When returned vehicle, I was told that no codes showed up. I would have to make a separate appointment for them to investigate the radar obstruction.(I live an hour away from the dealership.). So l make an appointment, when I arrive the first thing they tell me is that they will look at the front sensor to see if it was covered with bugs! Why didn’t they do that the day I was in for routine maintenance? Special trip? Makes no sense! I had to take a half day off to drive to Dubuque for them to check for bugs on the sensor!! Common sense is just plain lacking these days! Turns out there were no bugs in the sensor. The radar control unit was damaged and neede replacing. With just a look, they could have determined that on the day I was in for routine maintenance. Not impressed.Dale BrandtGarnavillo, Iowa
Jason was awesome. Flexible and willing to work my car in when needed. He is friendly and patient while explaining what was wrong with my car. As a woman its nice to know that I didnt feel like like my checking account was being taken advantage of. Highly recommend the service department.

Being a single middle-aged woman, and having had my previous car for many years, I was apprehensive with the new car search. I wanted to feel confident that my sales person would help me find the perfect car that would fit meet my needs, as well as have the sporty style that I was seeking. I had the fortune of working with Nick Wood. Nick has a genuinely friendly, but very knowledgeable demeanor. He thoroughly explained various car options, giving me a clearer picture of the right car for me. After selecting my new car, Nick went above and beyond to explain my new vehicle’s features, so by the time I actually drove my new Rogue off the lot, I felt extremely comfortable with it. Nick reassured me that if I ever had questions of any kind to call him directly and he would talk me through it. Along with this, I truly feel that if I was to ever stop by Deery Brothers, any of the friendly staff would gladly assist.
