The quality of meat and produce is outstanding. The issue i have is it is super expensive. This store is not designed for an average person, but only for the top 2 percent of the population who are considerably wealthy or have a stable large ammount paycheck. But, who i see in the store are mostly the people who are one paycheck to inconvenience and 2 paychecks to poverty, one person opinion. I am also in this category as well, and i live in the Bay Area and have 2 jobs. Unfortunately, they themselves do not know what they actually can afford, because they use the credit cards. Anyting you buy by the credit card, the owner of your purchase is the bank. Anytime i go to the Whole Foods market it is very crowded. What it tells me is not how wealthy or successful people are in this store but how many people actually can not control their experiences. However, there are many alternatives to this store such as Costco, Sprouts, Trader Joes, FoodMaxx, and WinCo. Berkeley Bowl is my favorite. These supermarkets are much cheaper and have a good quality of the products. In a long run, you will safe thousands.
Best in Quality and best selection of European cheese. Olive oil, Balsamic is superb. Produce and Fruits are fresh and competitively priced...
I use this place for their Amazon returns service and theyre quick and super helpful
This place is going from bad to worse since it was taken over by Amazon.Always at least 5-6 people in each line to checkout, managers never seem to notice the build up of lines. It’s like going to Safeway.Full hot pizza’s are amazing and used to be a great dinner, now they are hardly ever open due to staffing issues and you can’t ever order ahead because none seems to answer the phone.
Went there to look for a specific item for a cocktail I was making. I had a great experience with this really pretty woman, Noelle, who went above and beyond to help me attempt to locate it. Although we could not find it, I appreciate all the effort she did to help me out.
No juice bar. No coffee bar. No alcohol bar.No prepared foods. No pizza. No workers. What is going on here? Maybe Rocket Man should take better care of his employees. Remember Whole Foods has been gone for awhile, this is Amazon.
The one-stop grocery store and household items.. name it they have it all! From fresh veggies and fruits down to freshly baked pizza and bakery all in one roof. They also sell all kinds of beverages from sodas to wine. Self- served food is also available..salad bar and soups all organic and well prepared. Parking is sometimes hard to find, the shop is located in an open shopping center. During summer you can sit down outside they have a patio where you can enjoy eating in an open air style.
This store is spacious, clean and well laid out. Staff always around to help you find what you need. Meat department has great selection and staff behind the counter is friendly and helpful. Good selection of rubs.Parking is a little challenging during peak hours, usually around lunch time it can get busy and tough to find a spot.
Butcher Dept customer service is great! They do a good job of helping you make the right selection of meat and fish. Staff here is always friendly and helpful
It is priced premium. Some products meet that premium but not all. We brought succulents that are well priced. Happy with the purchase.
This store is spacious, clean and well laid out. When we went there, before Covid-19, we got great fresh made pizza and burittos. Absolutley great. We went as tourists, thats why we only went there a few times.
Whole Foods is always my favorite. This shop has good cakes, clean space and fast charging outside
Amazon is slowly but surely ruining it. For these prices I expect not to have to wait for 30mins in line. Amongst other things.
Great store just very far from where we are, I wish theyd open one in Patterson, CA.... theres no trader Joes or sprouts
All around- the best.Breads, deli fantasticStaff great - great for workers, fun to shop
I was in and out. This Mondays haul wasnt bad. I stocked up on beef, chicken, pork, and fish. The one produce item I was looking for was the organic strawberries, none in sight. Still had a joyful shopping experience. Will be returning as always. Store is always clean.
Returned an Amazon package at whole foods which was easy and quick.
Ate some Indian good... So delicious.
Love the variety of prepared foods!
Pleasant staff, clean & organized store
I love Whole Foods in general but I am rating this one particularly low. Whenever I come to buy fresh produce like veggies, the shelves are > 50% empty. Maybe the demand is that high but the restocking is not enough
Summary: Shocking customer experience at the sandwich bar, where an employee demanded that I remove my mask when speaking. Food that I ordered was terribly prepared.Had a horrible experience at the sandwich bar this evening. I had heard the man who was working the sandwich / burrito bar area talking to the couple in front of me, telling them that they were almost out of everything. Was incredibly rude and impatient with them. When it was my turn, before I even said anything, he said exasperatedly youre the last person Im going to serve. After having heard what he told the couple before me about there being a lack of ingredients left, I thought itd be reasonable before ordering to ask if they still had any sandwiches left. He kept saying what and was incredibly impatient. I assumed he couldnt hear me so I repeated my question several times loudly. He then demanded that I take my mask off. (??)This made me extremely uncomfortable because Im not yet fully vaccinated and were in the middle of a pandemic. I did not want to take my mask off for obvious reasons, and then he proceeds to tell me that Im wasting his time. I tried ordering the tuna sandwich, which he said he didnt have. Fine. Then I ordered the ham & brie, which he made very begrudgingly and carelessly (almost performatively, like he wanted everyone to see him throwing a tantrum). Not only was it missing most of the ingredients in the sandwich (which he failed to mention to me while making it - I had only found out after unwrapping it later), it was the worst quality food Ive ever had at Whole Foods. I used to frequently go there but if this what the service is like, plus the lack of quality control in the food theyre serving, its for sure not worth the hefty price tag anymore. One bad employee can single-handedly ruin the feeling of a place, and this was definitely that type of experience.
We bought a cake today. Chocolate Eruption Cake. The cake was awful sweet !!! And we love sweets !! But it was impossible to eat. Is this really a health food store ??? Very disappointed.
Great store and great employees. Store appeared a little small.
Very rude customer service lady, Christy. Bumped into my husband with her cart and yelled at him for being in the way. The walkway was narrow and he was letting a customer exit when she bumped into him. How employees treat customers matter.
Part upscale food emporium, part community hangout. Its the kind of place every sensory can easily get overloaded - sight, sense, smell, and taste. This Whole Foods is the biggest of its kind in the greater East Bay. Its like going to Disneyland for foodies in the Tri-Valley area.Besides having the freshest fruits, veggies, meats, poultry and seafood, the Dublin store has an extensive bakery selection - cakes, tarts, single serving desserts, cookie bar, pastry bars - including gorgeous, crusty artisan breads freshly made in the back. This place can easily save you a drive to Oaklands College Avenue because its a one-stop foodie shopping Mecca! What is so cool about this store is the extensive prepared food / food court selections. Besides the usual sandwich, pizza, olive and weight-by-the lb prepared food bars, they have a wine and beer bar where you can buy a glass of wine or beer and have it with your meal either in their indoor dining area or outside in their beer garden. This Whole Foods also has a large juice bar in their produce section and a beverage bar (coffee, teas, etc) and a help-yourself frozen mochi bar in the bakery area too!The store is clean, bright and shiny. There is some food sampling in some of the areas, especially if you ask for one. Staff is friendly and helpful. The only con is finding a parking space can get tough, especially during the weekends and during meal times. Be patience! Its worth the aggravation. Many just come in and buy only the prepared food or from one of the food or beverage bars and just hangout in the eating areas. It makes you wonder especially during the weekdays does anyone work.Persimmons Places property owner and the city of Dublin didnt account for the demand for more parking spaces.
I want to give a shout out to Fernando at the customer service department. He turned our bad experience into a positive one. Dear husband went to redeem his hard earned burrito award but was told the program has been terminated and turned away. He was not pleased. After talking to Fernando, he explained the program was discontinued for new customers. For people like my husband, they still honor their cards and redeemed his reward. We were happy for his explanation and gesture.
Overall good place for groceries. Easy in and out and convenient parking. I just wish prices were more reasonable. Of course, good deals if you are Amazon Prime member. This is probably going to be my new default grocery store.
I am assured that whole food has some of the best products on their shelves, but I sometimes find items like the produce to have a different price listed and then scan for a higher price. I have also noticed the cashiers either don’t know what the product or produces is/are, or just don’t care to investigate the item price when asked about it. I am sure this is fine by people who our more status conscious and are willing to pay extra just for the label...I prefer quality and honesty, furthermore if Whole Foods is charging extra at the registers then kindly take that money and train your employees in product, produce, and customer service.I get better service at the local farmers market and Latino food markets. Thank you once again for you service, I am expecting a much higher service quality than what your organization is presently able to deliver. Have a good day.
Great products, fully amp, lovely customer service!
The store is very very clean, fully stocked, I was able to get exactly what I wanted . The fruit was so sweet.Thank you !
Great selection and location. Attentive staff. Store is very organized and super clean. The baggers need a little more training though!! I bought a small Chantilly cake and the bagger put it in a paper bag. In the process, the sides were crushed. The frosting was all over the box. Thank goodness it wasnt for a special occasion, it was completely ruined. I was upset once I opened it. The bakery had just brought it out. Love those cakes. 5 stars had it not been for the bagger and my little crushed cake.
Very good staff always helpful 👍
So many sexy girls there buying broccoli and tea
Pretty average grocery store. Nothing special about this whole foods over the others.
Pretty much what you expect from a Whole Foods. Was quicker than normal though.
Be carful the sign saying product of California but the container says product of Mexico . Several times in the past year and also yesterday I went to the store to buy produce, the sign says grown in California But produce itself says grown in Mexico I mentioned it a couple of time last year to the people who are working at produce and yesterday I found another gentleman and told him about the things I wanted to buy sign says grown in California but in fact they were from Peru and Mexico. so be careful read the product it self ( I only buy products of USA) l like to mention Whole Foods is my favorite store to shop
Very crowded even with limiting capacity. More amazon shoppers that public. Very well stocked and great organic food.
One of the newer locations and located in a nice little plaza right off the freeway. Easy access and enjoyable shopping with high ceilings and wide aisles. Massive selection you hope for with the larger footprint is awesome. Even has a bar/wine bar inside (that I’ve enjoyed too many times to mention) which will hopefully be open again soon. Worth checking out if you’re a fan of natural foods and don’t shy away from a little sticker shock.
Always clean, friendly staff and great app! Fresh products and great selection.
Its Whole Foods. You know youre going to pay a little more but you know exactly what youre getting.
I pre-ordered my turkey breast for pickup on Thanksgiving morning. Unfortunately I wasnt able to pickup my order on time. We called the store if we can pickup my order at a later time. We were told if didnt pickup my order before closing, the store would give away my order. We were not told about this policy when I placed my order. Given my hectic schedule, I wasnt able to pickup my order at all. I wish I was told about this policy before I placed my order. Friday comes and I receive an email thanking me for picking up my order. I hope the person(s) who was given my order enjoyed their dinner.
I had a good overall experience. Staff was helpful, the carts were sanitized, and the shelves were fully stocked. Their prices on certain items have gotten better recently, but some items still remain pricey. Its a great store, and look forward to when they can open back up to what it was before the pandemic.
Relatively slow today for a weekend, the store was clean as always and the staff were very personable and helpful. I thoroughly enjoy the atmosphere in the store and being a prime member has definitely given me a savings edge here!
Thankful ♡ I just wanted to take a moment to thank you Wholefoods for all your hard work. You really had to step it up a notch this year & I wanted to let you know I appreciate all you do. I personally am high risk for COVID complications & your Amazon Prime delivery service has been a blessing for sure. Thank you, thank you for aiding in nourishing my body & soul with beautiful, nutritient dense foods.. feeling very grateful.
Always nice to shop here. Clean, friendly and variety.
Service was not good, and the food bowl was very conservative with the contents (meat) for the price
Not good for amazon drivers picking up packages
Who doesnt like whole goods. Yes they are expensive but the produce is so worth it.
The hot food is back again.
The help in Amazon is usually very very good and the quality of the produce and other things is also awesome.
I went here with some of my friends a couple days ago in order to buy some food after a 30 mile bike trip. However, we were forced to leave because we didnt have bike locks. This despite the fact that our bikes took up less space than the Whole Food shopping carts. I dont know whether it was discrimination because of our age or archaic store policies, but if this is the level of service accorded to the customers then I dont recommend that anyone goes to this place.
Great Selection of healthy choices and a clean store
Always have a variety of interesting ready-made food. I love the Chef’s Choice selections and the poke bowl at lunchtime that are reasonably priced. The produce and fish, poultry, and meat are very good. I can buy things in bulk or prepackaged. The staff are friendly and helpful. I really like shopping here.
The customer service at this store has gone downhill fast. Today I stood in line watching register people close their registers, until there was only one open. The man operating that register was extremely rude, and scary. He threw one of my bags into the cart, and complained loudly of having to bag, until I started bagging my own groceries. I needed help getting my groceries to my car, because I have arthritis, but nobody offered and he was way too scary to ask. I am not sure why I am paying a premium to be treated this way. I will find an alternative to the store for my next shopping trip, but I am sad because this was my local go to for all my groceries.
Quality at its best
Heaven of healthy food
Overall good experience going here, only subtracting 1 star as I wish you had more organic meat and a variety of seasoned meats, perhaps made by different chefs, I think would be awesome 🤷🏽♂️ I like the fact they have my favorite mushroom diary product called “Superfood Creamer” infused with Cordyceps, Lions Mane and Chaya, helps me get that boost with coffee...
Awesome produce (where else can you buy romanesco?) and beer selection. Cheese dude was helpful, butcher and fish mongers are quick and knowledgeable.
Sunday 4 pm at the Dublin store a bit crowded, shelves fully stocked. Masks still required and the need for all to enter the left door and exit to the right. Mango, on sale. Still no ready-made food or salad bar court. Did go for pre-made wraps in the refrigerator, that appear very outstanding, also, they have ready to heat meals.
Great store with high quality products and healthy foods.
Ordered my turkey weeks ago, it was ready when I picked it up today. Great service! Thank you all.
I had lunch there. Id like near prepared foods section. As far as groceries and things with the exception of produce I think theyre kind of overpriced.
Great place to get your groceries, something to eat, fresh juice, coffee, bakery items, hot food. All around the best shopping experience!
Healthy food. Excellent bakery.
Quite wholesome foods, pricey for my pocket but so many options too & I struggle to choose as well...
The produce is the best. I noticed that their prices have dropped some. Also, the store wasnt overcrowded.
This store was so packed and too small. People were very rude. I will never go back to this store again.
I ordered the Thanksgiving feast but picking it up was a nightmare. The younger girl at the tent outside did not acknowledge me for 15 minutes or so of standing in the cold. When other people walked up she jumped up and went out of her way to help them. Very unsettling. Make sure to treat customers of all walks of life with respect. Hopefully the management looks into this so people dont deal with this in the future.
Good place for your shopping. The staff is always helpful. Recommended!
Good selection, little bit of everything, admittedly Im more of a New Seasons guy but just because I like their olives better and Ive been in the pnw the last 13 yrs. $30 isnt bad for chicken salad, tuna salad, olives, artichokes and a bottle of kombucha, itll make 3 lunches easy and since lunch is $10 or more I did alright
Found everything I came for.
Getting more and more crowded with online shopping pick-up staff. Checkout is extremely slow as well. Please open all the checkout counters. Kind and helpful staff overall.
If you been to any other Whole Food, this is like all the rest. Great grocery store with tons of variety for organic products and delicious things at the bakery. Parking is easy if you head down to the lower parking. They have seating indoors and outdoors if you buy dinner food and want to eat it right away
Love the atmosphere and the fresh sushi is always great. Nice clean store, and the customer service is great.
High quality products
Huge selection of interesting foods and sundries. Their cold and hot ready to eat foods are great for a snack or dinner. Simply the best!!
I like the new self checkout stations.
Shop here frequently. I think the store is great and I have always had very good service as well. My one complaint, which they can do nothing about, is parking. Sometimes it is really a trial but thats life in the Bay Area sometimes. Pro-tip - unless you are going FOR lunch, dont go at lunchtime to avoid crowds.
My overall experience at Whole Foods has been good in general, until today. I accidentally dropped a jar of black beans and spill happened on the floor. I immediately raised my hand to look for help, and an employee seems to catch my signal and walked towards me. I dont know why but she appeared to be kinda disappointed and looked passed me as she walked by. I had to wave my hand again to make sure that she doesnt just ignore me, and she reluctantly said: I will find someone else to help .... So I waited there for ~5 min (not long, I know, but it feels really long) and no sign of help coming, and I had to make sure that no one else is passing by and injured by these slippery beans. I eventually gave up waiting and approached another employee and, surprisingly (or should I be?), he appeared be really happy to help and even said thank you to me.By no means I am a frequent customer as I shop here maybe 1~2 times / month, so a bad experience of mine maybe just a bad luck. But as a customer instead of a store experience analysts, I dont want to place on the statistician hat and convince myself this happens by chance and I should be OK with it. It ruins my mood and hence I am not OK with it. Please hire more people like the 2nd employee who are actually happy to help customers.
My usual place to return amazon items.
Always great product. No open food because of coronavirus. Good choice of nutritional Supplements but I noticed some of them is not trustful.
Great customer service and healthy food.
The Asian woman with short hair in the deli was rude as can be! Acted like I was ruining her day asking her to do her job and serve me. Horrible service. Train your employees!
Love WFs my go to for food shopping
The coffee here is surprisingly good. The barista is super friendly.
This is my favorite Whole Foods in my area that I like shopping at. This store tends to be busy a lot but its always clean and maintains a nice flow.
Unbelievably busy with pick and pack orders. There were more Whole Foods staff picking and packing orders than regular shoppers!Aisles wide open
No place other than Whole Foods for fresh groceries, spices and meat
Not the best Whole Foods but does the job
