Decent location. I love the fact that they typically have new items you can’t find at other locations. They are always stocked and provide great customer service. I have never had an issue with this location.
Went in to purchase some items and cashier Zach was so friendly and kind (not to mention cute af) giving a one star because he would not go on a date with me. Obviously I’m joking, Zack has by far the best customer service attitude I have ever seen and I hope he gets recognized for the hard work and effort he puts in.Thank you Zack, from a loyal customer.
I will never go to their Pharmacy again it was the worst experience that I have had..the pharmacist on duty and her best friend and another friend were all standing around talking laughing while customers were waiting in line for an exit tended.. when asked why everyone was just standing around moving so slow and laughing and chatting they were rude and dismissive to the customers after 15 years of going to this Pharmacy I will never go back they need to be trained in customer relations and how to treat the customers there are other pharmacies in Dublin and I will take my business to them this kind of behavior is not acceptable.
The pickup service is constantly in disarray, delayed order today by 2 hours to a time not available and previously made me wait over an hour on another order, etc. Lately poorly bagged goods with vegetables just thrown in same bag. If you cant operate a service well, maybe shouldnt offer it.
This Kroger location used to be very good and now is slowly becoming like Walmart. There is no cashiers working the registers except one. And this is all the time. This was the reason that I go there, fast checkout, not anymore. You have one cashier and three managers walking around telling you self checkout is open. How about you jump in, open a register and help.Pharmacy, Deli and Bakery employees are awful. Not many reasons to go in there anymore.
I’d say my visit was while the store was busy, but it always seems busy. I was using self check-out, trying to juggle my bags along with my 2-year-old. This guy Justin was super on top of it, helped me out while bouncing in between the other nearby customers. Not an easy thing to do during a rush. Top notch.
Walked in and within the first minute of being in the store came across 5 unmasked shoppers including 1 employee unmasked employee. To be clear having a mask draped around your neck doesnt count as wearing it. I have shopped here for 15+ years, that relationship ends today. Will shop at Fresh Thyme from now on for better customer experience.
There is an employee at this location that works at customer service named Lamain and he is one of the rudest people working here. I went to customer service today because a coupon I had clipped on the app didnt apply to an item I had purchased and he said that I was lying and had used a paper coupon for that product and thats why it didnt apply. Now why would I be lying about something like that?? This isnt the only time Ive had an issue with him. Ive seen expired items on the shelves of this store multiple times and I had reported it to the employees as well. I reported it to Lamain once because he was the only person at customer service, unfortunately, and he didnt care. He completely ignored me. I dont understand why he has such an attitude problem. I bet he thinks he owns Krogers.
This Krogers used to be amazing but because of the horrible new management its quality has been declining. Ive noticed for a few months that I have seen multiple products on the shelves that are expired which is a health code violation. When ever I find something I always tell someone working nearby to let them know and they always say they will take care of it. Today I noticed more items on the shelves were expired so I told someone working nearby about it and they told me to go to customer service. When I went there I talked to an employee named Lamain J. I told him what I had found and he straight up said he didnt care. I was, surprisingly, shocked. I asked if there was anyone else working that might be competent at their job and an older woman named Jenny came over. She said she was the supervisor and when I told her, she said she also didnt care and told me that I was annoying and to leave. Lamain then proceeded to take my photo and said that he would ban me from this store. I said that Ill just contact the Kroger online and Jenny said to go ahead and that she didnt care. I dont know how Kroger can hire people like this but its obviously not doing them any good. Jenny probably told me to contact Kroger because she knew nothing would come out of it.***So when you go into this store - beware of expired items, Lamain and Jenny.
Get it together Kroger! You can do better! Keep us waiting in our vehicle over an hour in a pickup spot only to send someone out to tell us to come back tomorrow for our order! Seriously this needs handled differently and I’m sure I’m not the only one who was fuming mad over this experience tonight!
I went in the store for the Starbucks. They were both rude.Obviously overworked, which I understand the feeling, I used to work at a Starbucks as a teenager. The cashier made me feel uncomfortable about ordering my 8 drinks. She was rushing me to finish.4 out of the 8 orders were wrong. When I had the Barista correct 1 of the beverages he slammed everything and had an attitude.Worst Starbucks experience ever.
Great . Good food, good consumer goods, good clothing, good pharmacy, good spirits selection.
The experience in store is completely different from the experience at the fuel station. Usually the gas attendant is nice. But today she was not. Cant really blame her since Krogers doesnt pay their employees a livable wage. Do better Krogers.
This store is a disaster. It’s like that ugly piece of furniture that you want to get rid of but you can’t. You can put new fabric on the couch but it’s still the same piece of junk couch as it was before. I just don’t understand why they can’t stock stuff overnight. How come every time I come in the morning the shelves are empty? What is wrong with Kroger?
Go to Meijer after 11pm. Just got shook down at the door by someone without Kroger uniform asking me the specific items I needed to buy before i could enter...
4’ Ethnic really? Honestly it doesn’t surprise me as I grew up in the 60’s & 70’s.Your marketing department better understand something real quick. The products I was going to buy for my hair are on your store shelf. Because my “ETHNIC” MONEY CAN BE SPENT ELSEWHERE.Why also is there only 4’ for products for Naturally Curly Hair and at least three times that for hair without kinks or coils? If did not need lunch for work tomorrow morning. I would have left my entire cart.I will never step foot in that store or a Kroger again without some corrective measures taken! Be sure to know that everyone on my Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, And Google+ pages will know about your stores policies. You will be getting calls soon!Kroger Co, your company needs to Wake up!
When did this place become so trashy? Krogers has the worst people working here, especially at customer service. Its probably because they dont pay them enough.
Zack at the service desk should look for a different line of work.
I’ve read a lot of the reviews of this store and am wondering how many of them have ever worked in retail/food service. I spent ten years in retail, from a cashier to store management. I’ve shopped at this store for five years with no issues. Let’s be clear: the store management and staff don’t dictate how wide the aisles are or if the handicap carts are charged. Corporate says how wide the aisles are and if there is clutter, it’s because this area of Columbus is THE HARDEST to staff in the city. I know, I’ve tried to staff a store in the same area. They don’t have people to clear the clutter away. If the handicap carts aren’t charged it’s because your middle and high school aged children come in whenever they can and play on them. Management and staff members follow them around telling them there are people who really need them and they don’t care. Wait times are long and people shut their lights off because they don’t have enough people. Be grateful you have a store like this (actually multiple you can choose from) in your area and stop being so ridiculous. We’re all people, maybe stop being so judgmental and realize what you have.
Ive been going to this location since it was across the street and then before it was a Marketplace. It has always been convenient for a lot of people but now it is also of a greater size and quality, increasing the number of shoppers. The selection is great but it gets so busy that sometimes they are out of stock on certain items by the end of the day on the weekends. The staff are helpful and friendly. I usually use the self-checkout but rarely wait in a line or see really long lines for a cashier.
Great place to shop.
Do you love long lines at checkout due to understaffing on busy days? What about narrow aisles and the worst parking lot ever? Then this is your place. That said they have a great selection, good florist and bakery. Good baggers! (Sounds dumb but I always notice that there.)
I love this Kroger. The employees are amazing and deserve 5 stars. But the scales at checkout show that your products are heavier than they are in the store, meaning you have to pay more..6 lbs turned into .9 lbs, 1.2 lbs in store turned into 1.75 lbs, and 1.8 lbs turned into 2.25 lbs. Not cool. People who use the scales dont have money to burn, and this made me go over budget.
This used to be an amazing Kroger. When Covid hit, their response was amazing. But now, even though theres no restrictions being removed by the state, this Kroger no longer has 1 way enter and exit. Theres employees that dont wear their mask or remove it to speak to management down the main walkway. No customers are reprimanded for no masks or wearing it like necklace. I cant even order from the Click list to feel safer, because the last 2 times I did, items were removed and not told to us. Things that would take a moment to get like produce and deli meat. Once we unpacked, we found we had no deli or produce, but we were never charged. Its ridiculous. We had to drive back so we could have items for lunch. Completely ruins the WHOLE purpose of ordering through Clicklist.
I wanted to thank the cashier that was in charge of the self checkout by the frozen foods today October 30th 2020 around 1:15pm. I am sorry that I didnt catch your name. I had purchased alchohol on my order and when she came to verify my ID I realized then that I had left my wallet at home. I had taken it out of my purse yesterday and didnt put it back. She said that she could hold the groceries for me. I really appreciated that gesture becuase the last thing I wanted to do was have to go shop again for my groceries. I told her I lived about 5 minutes away and would be back. When I got back I was quickly able to check out and continue with the rest of my day. Its little things that sometimes make a persons day and can change their whole experience about being somewhere. Thank you for your quick suggestion and friendly attitude.
2 of your employees did not wash there hands after using the bathroom and one of them was a young manger I think because he had a ear piece on Im guessing around 18... hes tall and skinny and white....so sad here
I decided to go to krogers on sawmill, I went to a lane with was a young lady (I cant remember her name but it started with a she had a bandana) and this teen named Nathan,They were being so policit and welcomed me and called me maam and treated me like royalty. I just wanna say krogers is hiring some pretty good kids! promote those kids!!!!
Sat in the clicklist pick-up line for over 30 minutes. Went inside to talk to the manager and found out they hadnt pick the food yet. At that moment we were 1 hour and 20 minutes past the originalpick up date. Completely incompetent and the poor kids running the clicklist have no oversight or support. Go to giant eagle and shop like a normal person
THIS SHOP IS DANGEROUSI doubt anyone will read this, or take it seriously, but if youre immuno-compromised like me STAY AWAY until there is a vaccine for Covid-19. I spoke to 2 different employees who did nothing to enforce, or even voluntarily encourage, the state mandate of wearing a mask in public. Its supposed to be company policy to wear a mask if you are an associate, vender, or customer. They even made an announcement over the PA system to remind people. But did nothing as one person made there way from one end of the store to another blatantly disregarding everyones safety.I hope things get better but there is no guarantee from this place until the Covid Pandemic is over.
I hate this store. Was in a great mood until I had to deal with Jon in the deli, department so barbaric and when I complained his store manager, Chris, had nothing to say about Jons terrible barbaric behavior. Just miserable. Ugly staff, really hurts to even give store a star.
The store is pretty clean and well organized. The employees are extremely competent. Some of the older ladies at the self check out can be extremely rude. They can also be friendly the next Day. So I have mixed feelings about them. The gas station itself is always fast, accurate, friendly, and convenient. Overall I give this for out of five stars. Although the Kroger on Polaris Parkway is nicer (because of its young age), this one is homey, has all the basics, and is much more conveniently located. Quick shopping trips in and out go smoothly here.
This is one of the friendliest Kroger stores Ive ever been to. All the associates greet you and ask how your day is going. One gentleman was gathering carts one morning and took the time to come over to my car and help me unload my groceries from my cart. I will continue to shop here weekly.
Friendly staff, clean store, very good selection. Curbside pickup service is fantastic!
I use a handicap cart when I shop because of 2 compressed discs in my low back. I am very disappointed in both of the Kroger stores in Powell and on Sawmill. Both stores have eliminated several handicap parking spots in order to put banking, shopping or pharmacy only spots in. Also the carts are rarely able to hold a charge long enough to get through a weekly shopping trip. Invariably, I will have a full cart of groceries and be at the far end of the store when the battery dies. I have frequently asked the managers to put new batteries in every few years. As with car batteries, the inability for the cart batteries to hold a charge, is a good indication the batteries need to be replaced. And finally, Kroger is cramming more and more stuff in the same square footage. Sometimes, it is impossible to get a handicap cart between the display tables or around an end-cap without knocking things off. I think if the store managers would try driving a handicap cart through their aisles, they would understand the frustration we have. All of these things make these two Kroger stores among the worst stores for a person with a handicap.
I do so love to shop at Krogers however they have moved things around and its really hard to find stuff. The staff is always very helpful and polite. The clothing department is also really cool. A lot of great sales if you keep up on it.
Pick up service in any Kroger store works awfully. They make people wait their order for a very long time. Even after sending a reminder message with pick up time the order is not ready for bringing out to the customer car. It’s second negative pick up experience. So I’m not gonna order anything for pick up anymore! For example Walmart never is late with pick up orders and brings out in 1 minute after customer arrives at pick up location.
I love this store. Ive been shopping here for 3 years. You have a 5th 3rd bank, a jeweler and clothing department, within a grocery store. The staff is professional and accommodating. Once a month I will drive from Upper Arlington to visit this store, if they were to change my Kroger (Henderson Rd) to a Market Place ? Seriously, it is worth the drive, I love this concept. Thank you.
Store is always clean and you can easily find what you need. I love that they offer fruit for the kiddos while you shop as well as cookies for kids in the bakery. It is one of my favorite places to get produce since it is always fresh. My only complaint would be that it is usually hard to get one of the kids police/fire truck carts, which is usually a must have for my littles.
Great store to shop! While everyday prices may be slightly higher than some stores, Kroger has amazing sales when bought in multiples that cut prices almost in half! Stock up on different types of food each week, and next week something else. Its the best way to shop! I usually save about 40% from their deals and coupons which can be combined on the same offer.
Always clean and organized. Never have a problem with finding what I need or someone to help. Stocked up on all the good adult beverages.
Chronically understaffed as usual. Decent selection but not great prices and you can count on a 15-20 minute wait to check out.
I love this Kroger! Its huge but usually has a great selection of foods. (Unlike the place that shall remain unnamed across the street.) Their customer service is awesome. Even during their busiest of times they work hard to get you though the checkout line quickly.
I went to the customer service desk for a money order. The gentleman behind the counter was very friendly and helpful. The site looked like its kept in immaculate order.
Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful here the other day. This store very clean and well kept. They dont always have the Friday freebie though. They have a great selection of organic foods.
Clean, good layout, reasonable prices. A comfortable place to go regularly with a good selection. If youre going for international food, I might recommend an actual international store because Krogers options can be limited and overpriced.I dont recommend going on a Sunday, though, because they are insanely busy each Sunday.
Organized and clean. Sometimes the vegetable/fruit section is out of stock or old, but it is generally well maintained considering the large amount of people that shop there. The employees are also great and helpful. The manager on the other hand, is very stingy. I tried to return a $40 gift item thats never been used, but I was told me that it was out of season and they couldnt take it back. I went to the Kroger marketplace located at the Lewis center and they refunded me immediately without any questions.
I have lived in the area for over 2 years, this Kroger is my preferred grocery store. The other grocery stores in the area do not have quite the stock at this Kroger does. The prices are competitive and the staff seems friendlier than other stores in the area.
Friendly staff, clean place, sanitized but bathrooms needs a little more attention
Good store. Excellent produce and deli. Laid out a bit oddly but overall is good
Not happy with the changes to the wine section. I feel theres fewer to choose from now and not as much room as there previously was. Is there really that much room required for yogurt that you had to shrink the wine section down? You could have gotten rid of the clothing section that no one uses.
Very nice service. Fast and easy finding what you need. Good prices
Fresh fruits with low price. Kids toys with good offers over weekend. You will everything that you need for daily home needs including groceries, medicine, kitchen utensils, Gasoline and many more things.
Looking for an item that I couldnt find. Had to ask for help locating it. Item was laying down and I couldnt see it. Suggested that all items be positioned with the contents visible ie standing up. Store is very clean and has quite a bit of stock other supermarkets dont have.
One stop shopping. Store has good produce selections, good natural foods section, pharmacy, bank, and more. Went here for years until we moved. Always found it convenient.
Large selection of foods, clothes, household items and more. In-store pharmacy. In-store banking. Self checkout options. Good Deli selections. Good meat department. Large produce selections.
Has a very open atmosphere and customer service is very friendly. Clean and stocked every time Ive been to it for the most part. Give it a 4 1/2 stars
This is our grocery store that we shop at weekly. On occasion I have had a few bad experiences with staff and/or construction or parking issues but overall our last 7 years of shopping here have been enjoyable. My most recent trip this past week was great. Suriya was my cashier and she was very kind, helpful and nice to chat with at the checkout line. I really appreciate people like her and I hope Kroger continues to reward their employees that make shopping at their stores an enjoyable experience.
I frequent this Kroger like it well enough. But, the bathroom over the past three years consistently smells awful and like old fish. If they cant even keep the bathroom fresh, Id hate to know what other unsanitary things go on in this store.Get it together, its gross beyond gross
This is the best Kroger around. Friendly employees and I love the lady in the flower department. Kim always gives my girls a pretty flower.
I have a love-hate relationship with this Kroger. It is in an incredibly convenient location, but it seems everyone has the same thought. This Kroger, no matter what day or time, is ALWAYS crowded and difficult to navigate with a cart. I will say that the new store layout with the wider isles is so much nicer than any Kroger experience Ive ever had. Ive always found Krogers to be claustrophobic when I went to one, and having wider isles is an incredible relief. However, the parking lot is just as chaotic as ever. The traffic around the store and in the parking lot is unpredictable and not particularly safe.Regarding stock, I frequently have to forego one or several things on my list because it just isnt in stock or the quality of items just isnt up to par.On one occasion, my roommate and I went to this Kroger and experienced a horrendous, wafting smell that tainted the entire store (to prevent this review from sounding disingenuous - it smelled ominously like male discharge). On a separate occasion, my roommate and I waited 2 hours to check out while the cash registers were down.Additionally, the pharmacy is always behind on filling prescriptions, no matter how common your request, and they hardly ever call to let you know your prescription has been filled when you request a new prescription or refill over the phone or through your physician. On more than a handful of occasions, Ive gotten a notification that my prescription is ready, only to come up to the counter and find out it hasnt even been filled yet.Despite all this, I have to thank all of the employees at this location for their patience and diligence. A lot of my complaints really seem to be symptoms of poor pay, lack of benefits, and not enough support for employees by management. There are an incredible amount of patrons that frequent this store, and Im sure they have seen it all.
Love their sushi chef there. Theyre always super friendly. Every employee is always willing to help you find something in the store
Its organized strangely, though Ive gotten used to it since its close. Customer service was very disappointing on more than one occasion so deserves mention. However, for the most part, employees are usually helpful
Love this place! I can grab lunch, a latte, pick up my prescriptions AND shop for clothing/groceries/toys all in one place!!!! Great staff, very friendly.
A 16 year tradition would have been broken if Hobbs in Deli would have not been there. I give my daughter a cupcake every year for her birthday. I forgot to pick the cup cake up earlier. Walked in the store 15 minutes after 9. Hobbs did not hesitate to grab the cupcake for me. Thank you Hobbs!
My favorite Kroger store. The produce manager is always going out of his way to say hello and make customers feel welcome, the meat department is always knowledgeable and helpful, the staff is always quick to ask if you need anything. This is service that is hard to come by anymore.
Awesome store ! The $5.00 weekend omlettes are fantastic. Connie and Loretta in the cheese department provide great service. Bakery and Deli staff are wonderful... Raphael, Alyssa, etc
I have been in many Krogers throughout Central Ohio, but this one is my favorite. They have done a complete remodel, and practically can get all you need in one stop. I hate shopping, so they make my life so much easier and less stressful. Also, extremely well organized and clean. They even have a store directory available at customer service desk, and take home. Helps making shopping list because I can organize it by aisle.
Love, love, love the fresh fruits & veggies here. They are the first you see when you enter the store and so colorful. Good market strategy, Big K!
Very nice people and very helpful. Just layed out different than the one Im used to going to. Has lots of **extras!**
I always love shopping here! Great deals and the cashiers are always nice and helpful.
I love shopping at our neighborhood Kroger on Sawmill! The produce is of the best quality and RHAZ is an amazing produce manager. He is always so helpful!!! Keep up the amazing work!!!
Friendly helpful staff in every department - especially produce, specialty cheese and the self-check areas. The produce department is better than any others in the area. It’s my absolute favorite.
Nice store, We stop here before our long trip home everytime were visiting friends. They always have great deals.
Great selection of stuff since its a supermarket but can be busy a lot. Best is to use the self checkout
There were only two cashiers at about 1:30 on a Thursday afternoon. I spent over $300 and had to bag my own groceries. And there were three people in line behind me. Ridiculous.
Stacey in the liquor department was super friendly and helpful. Customer service means a lot to me and you have a new customer. Kudos!
This location has a great selection of everything and their produce is good quality as well. Kroger carbmaster yogurts are the best!
They were very gracious and helpful providing flower arrangements for me to take to the cemetery
Service was Pharmacy and it was for picking up prescription estimated time of prescription service given was 25 to 30 minutes it was done in 25 mins. I was very pleased with the time it took for me to receive my prescription
Decent store. Normally pretty clean. Normally well stocked but not always. Sometimes I have to go to Walmart across the street for what I need. Don’t bother trying to use their gas station between 3-7pm. Normally extremely busy. I normally go up to BP. Watch out in the parking lot. People don’t watch for you.
New large store has everything and is fantastic! Shopping is more fun if you stop by the bar for tastings or a full glass!
I enjoy going to Krogers but there r some products I wish were lower in price. Bc then I have to make a trip across the street.Glad u got rid of bricks in front on store.
I went online to order my daughters 7th birthday cake. It was a Pokemon cake that she was so excited to receive. When I was done with the order, it DID give a confirmation number. I saved it as a screen shot so Id have it just in case. Two days later I go to pick up the cake and it is not made. This old lady in the bakery told me they did not have it and if I wanted a cake, I could pick one from the cooler and she would write on it. She was VERY rude and did not even apologize so I asked to speak to a manager whos name was Dave. I told Dave I was very disappointed and upset not only because the cake wasnt made but because of the lack of empathy and apology from the bakery worker. Dave did not even apologize!! Sure, he offered me a free cake but did not even address the rudeness of the bakery worker or empathize with the fact that my daughter wasnt going to get her pokemon cake. There was a younger blonde manager who did apologize and worked hard to find out what happened and I do appreciate his efforts very much. Overall, I am so disappointed in the way this was handled and I will NEVER order from Kroger on sawmill again!
Purchased two dozen yellow roses for $60 arrangement for our anniversary celebration and I AS PROMISED that they would only use the fresh roses that were coming in the next day. However when I went to the store the next day to pickup the arrangement I was given an arrangement with one dozen bright yellow roses and one dozen faded limp yellow roses that were obviously going to be thrown out. It looked like amateur hour. Pathetic simply pathetic. I will never thrust them amain.
Good store. Convenient and well supplied. Very busy. Shop at night if you are not a people person because there are way too many mouth breathers shopping in the day time.It must suck to work here because most customers are also generally idiots. I had a bad experience with some bitchy lady and got into an argument with her over who got to the self checkout lane first. Too punching someone is illegal because she really deserved it
Go to groceryGreat selection of fresh, clean, beautiful produce.Olive bar, cheese bar, fresh-made sushi, good liquor selection, limited craft beer selection.
Good selection of grocery items. Love the bakery and meat and seafood selections.
Its nice location and nice Kroger market place. They have even jewelry store inside the store.
Typical strip mall with a grocery store. Variety of shops but nothing too exciting. The bar is a neighborhood gathering place and quite popular with the younger crowd.
Always have what Im looking for, and very well managed.
Good store for everything.they will give discounts for the members.all the items are kept very neatly.we will heat organic items too.jewelry store is there inside.bakery section is separate and you will get fresh items including fruits and vegetables
Its a decent grocery store. There are quirks and wish the isles were larger. However, their stocking could happen at a less busy time of the day.
Love Krogers! Great selection and lots of checkout lines open...
Love this Kroger. They always have great deals and very friendly and helpful employees!!
Floral delivers ut you have to go into store to pay....how about you update your policy and add this as an online option and increase your marketability.
Hello. I went to krogers earlier today. Therein I purchased two boxes of cereal (capt crunch and corn pops) along with one gallon of krogers brand orange juice. The prices were approximately one third higher than the other prices for the same goods I have purchased elsewhere in Ohio. When I returned to my apartment I found that I had some meijers brand orange juice left and I decided to compare it to the krogers brand. I found that meijers brand orange juice had an amazing creamy quality that the more expensive krogers brand did not, and the krogers brand felt watered down. As such I have notified the import members of my family, some acquaintances, and my church group of the difference in quality and price over utility ratio.
Unlike their competitor Walmart across the street, this Kroger actually has a sufficient number of people working the check out lines so you dont have to wait until the end of time to get out of there. Crazy idea, huh?
