Nice place. A lot of unique items. Just wasn’t for us. Very nice owner
Its nice to find a quality furniture store still left. The prices are reasonable for what you are purchasing.
Marvelous service! Rick was a gem and very helpful. Made suggestions that I would not have come up by myself.
Very interesting place for furniture and decor. Variety of styles. Custom fabrics on many items. Chairs, tables, lamps, artwork, etc. Many unique pieces and custom built pieces.
Van was super nice and helpful. Our friends came in to buy a couch and were able to find a highly customizable couch for their price point. Highly recommend. (Plus theyre one of the few Columbus, OH places that sell Stickley)
Good mid-high to high end furniture. Lots of good brand names here. Saleshuman Meredith was helpful and not pushy. =) Dont let the construction dissuade you from checking it out.
Last fall, we set out to begin updating our living room. Before Christmas, I wanted to at least get our entertainment center updated. I found a model from BDI I liked and found authorized resellers around town. Studio J turned up in my search results. I liked the variety of furniture in their store and thought this might me my one stop shop to update our entire living room.Other sores in town committed to having the entertainment center to me before Christmas. Studio J wasn’t sure if they could deliver before then but committed to try. I paid for half of it up front which included Studio J providing assembly and delivery of the unit. There were delays that pushed the delivery to the middle of January. When it arrived, there were several scuffs in the wood on the top surface, the left metal leg was bent, and there were large grease handprints and smudges throughout the wood and glass. I sent pictures of it all to Studio J. Studio J apologized and ordered another unit. I asked that it be delivered to me unopened and I would unbox it and assemble it so as to avoid what was obviously a reckless and gross first assembly attempt. They understood and agreed to have me unbox and assemble it when it arrived and asked that I take pictures of each step. The second unit arrived two weeks ago. I did as instructed and photographed the furniture along each step of assembly. It took me some time to unbox and assemble it: it was no easy task - the unit is very heavy. Along the way, the owner was calling asking for payment quite often. I asked them for time so I could finish assembling it and put it in to place to be sure there were no issues. There was no objection from Studio J. I literally just finished assembling the unit and getting everything installed this past Tuesday. There are some minor dings from shipping. The top surface is in perfect shape because I took care not to drag it all over the place on a hard surface while assembling. And there are no gross grease handprints and smudges. So, a little touch up marker should do the trick. On Tuesday night, I called Studio J back because I had a question about a glass front panel the BDI instructions said was an option. Studio J said they would research it.This morning, I received an angry voicemail from the owner saying they would be coming to my house to take the unit back because I haven’t made the second payment yet, and they would refund my down payment. I called her back and she demanded payment. I asked why I should be paying for assembly when it’s clear their assembly of the first unit was the root cause for the damage. She demanded my credit card and payment. I provided the information. They lost out on a complete living room update, that’s for certain.
