Awesome experience at Tri-Valley Automotive in Dublin, CA.I asked if the shop could take a look over my vehicle and they got me in immediately and did a free diagnostic. Not many shops do a free diagnostic anymore so I was thankful for that.The Nissan Dealership said it was going to cost me over $7,000 worth of work with more than $3,000 in labor. Don & his team were able to repair my truck in 1 day and got me out the door for less than $1400. Very Very Very grateful! The truck is driving like new!!!

I found them on google and I called to schedule for a service for my vehicle. The guy who answered me was very courteous and even when I got there, everything was handled professionally. They carried me along with all they were doing, and did an excellent job on my car. The pricing was very reasonable. I will definitely go back there when next my car is due for servicing.

Don was great, brought my car and my wifes car in for an oil change and a couple of repairs we needed. Both needed a lot of random little things and for each car Don was able to get them done the same day we brought them in. Great communication throughout, was a really nice experience and Ill be taking my cars back for oil changes and any future maintenance! Theyve also got a nice system that gives you reports after the initial inspection with pictures, which I thought was really neat, and texts with updates as the car is being worked on and when its ready. Could even pay through the website. Nice little extras like that made the experience even better :)

Ripped off. A simple water pump replacement on a 90’s F150 was quoted $300 ($40 for the pump and the rest was labor). Seemed high but they were recommended, so went ahead. After they are into it they called and said oops they broke a bolt. The new cost: $700! No choice so got it done. I picked up a week late, and took it home. I look under the hood and see they “forgot” a bolt on the water pump, they also took out other parts and “forgot” to reinstall. Had to drive back and rummage around for the missing parts. The owner’s response: he gave me a blank look and a shrug. Too bad.

My F30 335i needed an alignment after a rear trailing arm replacement. Don was able to squeeze me in for the same day appointment.They are very knowledgeable, I will start taking my track car here as well from now on.

This is my first and last in this shop repair, the store says is very good but do is very poor, last Friday I went to give my car four-wheel positioning, finished the day I felt wrong with my car, whenever my steering wheel is straight, but my car is walking on the left, so I call them, and went back to do on Monday, but make results with exactly the same as the first time, direction or to the left, I think they didnt give me the check. Ill telk my friend, dont go there if u want good car service.

Tri-Valley Automotive was a GREAT experience. This was my first time taking my Jeep Renegade somewhere other than the dealer. TVA did a 30K service and also a check engine light diagnostic and repair. They shopped around for the best prices on parts while I was sitting there and communicated with me throughout the entire process via text and phone call. I am new to the Dublin area and needed a find a trustworthy mechanic. Happy to say that I found Don at Tri-Valley Automotive well-recommended on the Neighborhood website. Don did not disappoint! He even gave me a ride home since I live nearby.Brought my 2015 Toyota Camry for an oil change and to have it checked over. A few hours later I received a text with a link with all my cars diagnostics. Very thorough. Everything was easy to understand and no bogus recommended repairs like I used to get at the dealer.Ill be back!

Don was very accommodating during my appointment with him. He provides helpful information on my Ford focus 2012 with the pre-maintenance check-up before I gave them the signal to start the repairs. My car is running really great compared to when I first bought it. I would recommend him and his crew at his shop if you want to have your vehicle to be taken care of.Update as of June 10.I seek assistance again to Don for a maintenance check as Im planning to have a long journey to another City to make sure my car is in good condition.Ever as helpful, he and his team ensures the car is in good condition. I had AC issues with my 21 year old vehicle and sought guidance from them on potential causes and rectifications including pricing. I learned the AC system is a bit intricate with several components and though the cost of the item may seem affordable, getting to the part under the hood takes time, specialized tools, and above all, know how. I know as much about cars as I do brain surgery, so the trust is placed in the hands of the experts.I received texts with updates and links to reports. All was explained and quoted before work took place. In the end, my little car was returned to me less than 24 hours later. She had a full inspection, new brake fluid, new power steering fluid, and a working AC!!My bill was steep but as quoted. Do check their website as there are discounts on labor if you book on line for work on Monday. There are other discounts available through Groupon and even a military discount. They were efficient and professional and I do recommend TVA. My only complaint is I now have to wear a jacket when my AC is on!!

I just want to start out saying I had a great experience with this company. I called around to multiple mechanics explaining what I needed done to my car and they all were extremely disrespectful. Don at tri valley actually listened to me and I explained to him my situation as I was down here in Cali for training and my class ended in 4 days. He was super helpful and had great communication. I came in for a transmission and clutch fluid change. It was easy to make an appointment, and everything was taken care of in just a little over an hour. The owner was friendly to go over what they found in the free inspection, so that I could actually see issues starting to come up and not be fed some lies like other places may do to try and upsell items. I brought my Saturn in because my car started to smoke and the coolant warning light went on. I came in off the street unexpected. Don hooked it up to the computer right away and told me what I would need done. They started to work on my car right away and I was able to pick it up the next day which was great since I use my car all day long for the type of work I do. This is the most trustworthy, efficient shop ever! I had my car towed there a couple months ago because of a recommendation by a friend, when it just stopped. Don did a diagnostic, found out it was my trans control box, and that it might be covered by an extended warranty by the dealer. It was! Don went out of his way to save me money, and didn’t even charge me for the diagnostic. Went back for my oil change yesterday, Aly and Justin handled this service A++. Tri-Valley is TERRIFIC!

Got exactly double charged on parts and charged me for 2 hours when I couldve done what he did in under an hour. I asked him to check my timing pulleys and he changes out one tiny ac idler pulley and charged me 87$ for the little tiny pulley that cost around 20 anywhere else . I would recommend not to come here if your low on money

Fantastic experience with Tri-Valley Automotive - I’ll even go as far to say this is prob the best auto shop I’ve found yet. Took my car in for a few warning lights that came up on my dash, and found out the vehicle needed aprox $2,700 worth of labor & repairs: re-sealing upper and lower timing belt covers/ resealing oil pan/ wire work / broken coolent component + extra services.I have a pretty good understanding of how an engine works, but with that basic knowledge I end up asking a lot of questions when work is performed - not only because I’m curious, but b/c I want to fully understand the scope of the repairs. Owner Don, and the tech working on my vehicle, took the time to answer all my questions and on multiple occasions visually showed me the work progress while it was on the lift. I feel very confident that everything was repaired to spec, and buttoned up professionally.The charges were reasonable, and I was updated continuously on any increases. Bonus: they use a text feature to alert when the vehicle is being worked on & completed. There’s also a customer referral program, and a oil change loyalty program.Go to Tri-Valley Automotive! :)

I have used and trusted Tri-Valley with my car for years. I was buying a used car and had them look it over before I bought it. I am so glad I did, they found several things wrong with the car and am moving on to others. They saved me $$ and troubles!

Worst customer service. The owner is rude. In no way did I challenge the shops knowledge of what was wrong with my car. But the way they spoke to me made me scratch my head to their lack of professionalism. Out of the better judgement I called again months later to get work done. As I dont think they remembered me on the phone the owner once again was rude. Instead of saying we dont do this type of work or we are not capable of doing it I get Ill pass. I asked youll pass and the guy comes back and repeats what he said. I recommend you find a professional shop that actually cares about their brand and reputation.
