I bought my Hyundai Elantra here seven years ago. Not one problem with it yet (knock on wood.) My Sons 2011 Elantra needs work. Well see how well they do on it.

Came to get factory scheduled maintenance (52.5k) done here. Made an appt for 1045am. Arrived early but still had to wait. By 10:54 my car was taken to be serviced. At around 1:15pm I got a text advising my car would be ready soon. I was also able to pay for service via a link sent in that same text. Paid for the service and by 1:30pm was on my way home. Danny did a great job explaining things and had great customer service. I appreciated that he kept me informed of my options (I opted for the value option) and gave me an idea of the wait time, letting me know it would probably be a few hours. I got work done during the wait. Not to mention the car wash helping cross 2 things off my list at once. The contact less payment option was also great! Id definitely recommend this place and will be returning for my next scheduled maintenance!
I dont know how a dealership can do such a poor job, it is quite comical.I came here on a Sunday to test the Hyundai Tucson and was told I should schedule an appointment and come back at a later time since they had to service the vehicles.I scheduled an appointment for Wednesday and made the mistake of not remembering the sales persons name. When I came to the dealership at my appointment time, I was met by the same person from last time unfortunately. He said there is no record that I have an appointment. He let me test drive a lower trim, which was not the model I wanted to purchase. After the test drive I reiterated that the car was ok but I wont be buying this lower trim. He then told me they DID have the limited trim I was looking for but that it was somewhere in the lot behind the dealership and I can go find the car myself if I go back there. I asked him would he at least open the vehicle so I could see inside, he said no, just go back there and find the vehicle yourself and look at it from the outside.This person made no attempt to try to get me the vehicle I wanted or sell the existing one they have.I truly wonder the reason for keeping this person on the sales team. I imagine the dealership is losing a lot of money with such poor salespeople. Ill be going to a different dealership where the salespeople are actually interested in selling cars.
Improved experience after speaking to multiple people after a previous visit. They reached out to make an effort to remedy the previous issues and delays with my last service. This time, I received a prompt call, discussed a clear and accurate plan, and received my car back same day without issue.
Dismayed at the level of service; I had hoped for better. I wish I could say that its solely at the rep level; management has yet to return my email in over 72 hours and my calls in 48. If you choose to get service here, my recommendation is to have a back-up plan, if not an entire back-up car.
On a recall I had my Hyundai Kona Electric batteries replaced. The service center was very supportive, arranged for a loaner for the day the job was done, and had my vehicle clean and washed when I picked it up. I am very happy with the service a Dublin Hyundai.
The worst receptionist ever. It was a woman in her mid 40s. When we said that we were there for the test drive, she asked in a condescending tone whether or not we had an appointment-which we thought we did because we went through their online portal and made an appointment for test driving the Santa Fe. But the online portal apparently didn’t give us a confirmation email which meant that the reservation wasn’t made officially. she literally could have explained this in less than three sentences but instead, she retorted “then you don’t have an appointment.” I almost lost my temper at her condescending tone and ridiculously bad mannersto that woman: your job is to literally greet people. you accomplished nothing. I’m not sure if you had a bad day but that literally does not mean your customers have to be greeted in such an unprofessional way.honestly super disappointed and will never go back to Dublin Hyundai as long as the service level is below average.

Probably the best service department of any of the dealerships I have been to in the area. I usually dont use dealerships but this is for a company vehicle. The appointments are always on time, car is ready when they say it will be and Ive never had to go back. The service writer is professional and informative.
Scheduling my Saturday appointment was easier and quicker than I thought it would be. The work was done promptly including the recall.
I had the pleasure of working with Danny as my service advisor. He was very thorough, communication was great in person as well as via text, and an estimate was provided for the service work (oil change/tire rotation). Prior to picking up the vehicle, I was texted the invoice and given the option to prepay, which made the pickup process easy. I went in to this dealership on a Saturday afternoon with my 13 year old son. I wanted to look at a pre-owned vehicle they had, and I asked if I could take it for a test drive, so the first gentleman said hed be happy to get me the key, and took my license and insurance info.He said that another person would bring me out the key, and my son and I just browsed the lot in the meantime, as it seemed to take them some time.This other man came out, with the key, and we all walked to the vehicle, and in talking with him, I told him that while this vehicle was not the exact model I was hoping for (I wanted a different engine), I was interested to see how the car drives, handles, sounds, its features, etc. And to be honest, i was trying to justify to myself whether I should buy the exact model they had there, since I really really had liked it from outwards appearance.We got to the car, and my son and I climbed in to the front seats, and began observing the features and design of the cabin. But the salesperson who had the key, told us that were welcome to look around, and check out the car. I asked him if I could drive the car, since thats what I came to investigate, and why the other gentleman had taken the requisite info to allow for me to test the car. He told me I dont think were gonna do that, but feel free to look around it, take your time. As I was still looking around the drivers seat, I began asking him about the car history, and the features and warranty, and he promptly interrupts me to say we dont change the price on the car, we know what its worth, and thats just what it is... regardless of how long its been here on the lot, or any history of the carI was shocked by him essentially telling me that they are not going to allow us to check out the car, and as I began to ask him another question, I looked in the mirror to find him walking away from the car!!! I assumed someone had just called him over, or he went to do something and he would return, and so my son and I just waited... I asked him whether he just left us mid-conversation, and he shrugged his shoulders, and said that it seems he has.After five minutes of waiting back in the car, we walked back into the dealership building, to find him sitting there with his coworkers at a computer.I asked him why he just walked away, IN THE MIDDLE OF OUR CONVERSATION?His response (literally!): Well, its obvious youre not going to buy this car, youre not interested in itI couldnt believe it, and looked at my son in disbelief! Was this real? Well, I was interested to see what the car was about, I was considering buying this particular car, as Id been wanting it for a while... but because you left, and with they keys, i couldnt even check the features, moreover test drive it. He remained unapologetic, and just looked at me as though he doesnt get itIm a very calm person, and very rarely am upset, but I had never seen anything so obnoxious, and from a person who should be interested in being helpful and showing good customer service.Blown away, I just looked at the situation, watched all of his colleagues observing his shameful behavior, none of them saying anything... and we walked away.That night, I called the dealership, spoke to the first gentleman who had approached us, and asked him who it was that he passed me off to. He refused to give me a name, saying he doesnt remember, hes sorry for what happened, and hell ask his manager to call me.Nobody called, of course, which seems now par for the course for this dealership.Im still shaking my head at the thought-process that must have prompted a sales person to walk away mid-conversation from a customer interested in purchasing a car from them.I rarely write a review, but then again, I rarely see such bad form either. In my experience, most encounters are nice enough, and at the very least helpful if not friendly. This person was unapologetically rude, and his surrounding team and manager evidently couldnt care less.
It has been by far the best car buying experience to date, from beginning to end it was seamless and easy.. Dublin Hyundai was amazing thanks to all the staff members who helped us throughout the entire process by being very clear, direct, and welcoming at the same time. I recommend that if anyone is looking to purchase a car, to reach out to Dublin Hyundai, I can guarantee you will get the best deal possible and with your brand new ride!
Came here to look at a car and potentially trade in my existing vehicle for it. While I was met on the lot reasonably quickly and given the opportunity to test drive the vehicle without issue, the deal process was an exceptional disappointment. It took a significant amount of time for the sales team to finally come back to me (45+ minutes of waiting in the dealership) with even an initial offer for my and their vehicle. The price they offered for my vehicle was significantly under market trade in value for the vehicle (nearly 25% under market value). While I understand that a profit needs to be made to keep a business going, gouging customers is not the way to accomplish that.
Be sure to check you get all your paperwork. After getting a new car and realizing there wasnt any paperwork on the warranty I called and was told it would be emailed to me, but it wasnt!. After calling and leaving multiple messages I still have not received any paperwork outlining what the extended warranty covers. Tried to call Hyundais warranty 800 number and the girl didnt know what the coverage was and said she would transfer me but disconnected me instead. I called back and she transfered me again and after 25 minutes of being on hold I hung up. This dealership and warranty people are shady!!

This was a pretty bizarre experience:I scheduled a time to come test drive the Genesis GV80.Before leaving my house, Jennifer, whom Id scheduled the visit, called to make sure Im keeping my appointment and coming to test drive the car.Upon arrival, the person at the shop told me sorry, we are not allowing any test drives on this car - they are our highest end-model.What? Ive never heard anything like that. I explained that Id scheduled the appointment specifically for this car, and the man apologized hey, I just work here. Then he said, because they are in such high demand, we are also marking up these cars at about $10,000 above MSRP. Im no attorney, but that sounds illegal - or at best, a very shady business conduct.If you folks are not interested in my business, thats fine - but please dont schedule appointments and have me drive 45 minutes in each direction and waste my time.

Its the little things that matter most. I wanted so much to be able to have a stellar experience and recommend this dealership. Since our salesperson Adnan was friendly, courteous and professional over the phone we decided to make an appointment to come in. However after negotiating for what seemed to be well over an hour, I was getting very frustrated. It was taking so long and I was getting light headed and needed something from the vending machine. You would think he would offer the dollar for a bag of chips. No I had to go get money from my car. Its the little things. While trying to come to an agreement on price, he must have left the room at least 6 or 7 times. In the end, we were haggling over just a few dollars difference but he said his Manager wouldnt budge. I should have walked out at that point because now it keeps me awake at night. In the end, we made the deal and he was kind enough to deliver my vehicle to my house the next day. But to my surprise I got the bridge toll bill in the mail a few weeks later. Like I said, its the little things that matter most. A few weeks ago I got an email from the Internet Sales Manager about a referral program and shared my concerns with him. No surprise there was no response or survey that followed.
They always do a good job and they are very careful about being safe during COVID.
If you are looking to buy a Hyundai, I highly recommend Dublin Hyundai. The sales staff is professional and knowledgeable but it is their service department that really shines. I drive quite a bit farther to Dublin Hyundai because I love my service tech, Brian, and the exceptional work performed on my car. Out of 5 stars, I give them a 6!!! :-)

Dublin Hyundai has a very expertized service team. All of them I met are veru friendly and educated people so its real pleasure to talk with them. And they are very friendly and helpfull about maintain vehicle. I am going there to service my Elantra from El Cerrito even I have closer Hyundai services. On the other side is selling department totaly opposite world. They are prone to promising and cheating so I never would buy vehicle here again. I dont want to takl about them here, maybe in next review. Its really bad for Hyundaiv to be presented with such sellers.

I drove from SF for service on my Santa Fe Sport AWD at Dublin Hyundai this week because we no longer have a local Dealer/Service Dept and it needed several Service Campaigns and other repairs. I was put in touch with Dealer Associate, Danny Becker, who assured me they could order the parts quickly and perform the service needed and arranged for a rental car. As it turned out, they diagnosed a serious problem, one being quite costly, but he assured me it was covered under Hyundais 100K powertrain warranty. He explained the necessary repairs needed and gave a fair quote on another issue and always returned my calls and texts promptly and kept his word. Excellent service indeed and I will return!
I have had my car serviced for different reasons, and have always walked away knowing without question exactly what was going to be done, without any surprise cost, suddenly showing up.My service writer Brian is the best, the team there are also very attentive if they see you waiting.I appreciate the time taken to go over everything that was done to my car.
My experience with this dealership is kind of bugging me. Mainly because I requested service and was given the option to receive a loaner. However, when I arrived, I was told that wasnt an option. Wth, why was it offered online then? I cant get over that. Service prices feel inflated also. Not worth getting repairs @ this dealership anymore.
Dealership does try hard. Reliability of electromechanical parts has deteriorated a bit over the past few years. Purchased 11 new Hyundai vehicles since 2003, and never had issues until 2017/2018 models. That said the dealership does a nice job. Thanks David Kay.

Was promised no license plate would be drilled into the front bumper. Guess what, car was delivered with a drilled front bumper.Was told that the dealership spoke to VW to arrange end of lease cost. Guess what, I was lied to, they never spoke to that dealer about the lease, and cost was different than what they told me.Was told Car would be ready for delivery on Monday. Guess what Car wasnt ready til Thursday.Was told the warranty wasnt actually 5 years and pushed to buy extended warranty. Guess what, I was lied to about that as well.The Sales people are forgetful. The finance people lie to your face. And managenent doesnt follow through on promises.Car good. Dealership Bad.

Very disappointed got down there and found out my car did not need servicing. Wasted my gas and they wouldnt put it back in and it was their mistake
I set an appointment for 7am 3 days in advance. I show up early, check my car in for an oil change, and an inspection of my brakes. I didn’t receive a call by 12pm (Noon) so I went back to the dealership. My car needed work approval for their suggested repairs. Nearly $2,200. About $1,000 of it was to replace pads and rotors. I then waited another 2 hours, after declining the extra suggested services, for the finalized paperwork and to pay and leave.Very time consuming, and unfortunately it was the only dealership I could find nearby. I will drive out of my way the next time my vehicle needs any sort of services again. This may only be situational, and this was just my 1 experience here.
Purchased a car this past Saturday. Since it was just delivered and needed to be prepped I was told to pick up on Tuesday. Made an appointment with sales person for that morning. Got there about noon on Tuesday from Palo Alto. The sales person then informed me that the car was not ready, that i would have to come back another time. No call, notext, no regard for my time to drive over there. He also made promises on my car I was turning in. Again when I mentioned this he acted like he never said that. Finally they activated the bluelink account with someone elses email. I am currentlytrying to prove to bluelink I indeed own the car. Please Hyundai Dublin salespersons and others like you please do not promise what you cannot deliver, have the courtesy and guts to inform if you cannot. I give 1 star as the car gets 5 stars. Sales negative stars.
I bought Hyundai Kona from this dealership. Salesperson was Adnan. He was kind.This one star for Luke (finance person). If I see this guy before I wouldn’t buy car from this dealership. Because he was very rude and speaking roughly. I think you need to review this person. He was acting like a boss of the dealership. I guess hes trying to show himself big. Like this picture.

I used to think this place was the gold standard for customer service. That was a few years ago. They have really slipped. Poor communication. Lack of urgency. Go elsewhere if you can.Plus, Ive had 4-5 recall notices on my Sonata. Not good.
I was extremely pleased with my service at the Hyundai dealership. The check in was simple, the service time was reasonable, my service advisor kept me posted on when my vehicle would be ready and the reason for the slight delay, and everything was done in a timely manner. I definitely appreciated their attention to my requests and the end results.

I just bought my first ever brand new car today! Jay was super helpful and amazing throughout the entire process and got me the perfect car. I was super nervous and very uninformed since this is my first time purchasing a new car haha. But Jay walked me through the entire process and made sure I understood everything. It was reassuring knowing the person I was buying from was genuine in making sure I had the perfect car for me and that I understood what I was purchasing and buying. Such a breath of fresh air compared to other dealerships where I was just talked at and given little to no information. I’m now driving happily (and most importantly safely) with my new Elantra ❤️
I would give more stars if I could! My gf and I were planning a road trip up north for a family event and ran into rather drastic car troubles the day before we were set to depart. We explained our scenario with reception, they forwarded the message and the entire service team, BIG shout out to Danny Becker, whom helped us out and made sure we made it to the family event. They were nothing but transparent, caring, empathetic and made sure our car was 100% before we took off and did so in a speedy fashion. Thank you again for everything that you all did, we greatly appreciate it! Would highly recommend/might bake and deliver cookies out of gratitude.

Usually I have a decent time at dealerships but this one makes me not want to buy a new car. I went in looking for my first car and I found it there! after testing driving it and telling the sales employee I want to buy the car out. He comes back to tell me that there holding the car for another women even though you cant hold a car for someone. so un professional to let me test drive it and talking me into buying it, just for me to leave upset. I am superstitious and I always tell myself this dealership gave me bad luck. this was 4 months ago and I still havent found my dream car again.
Well taken care of start to finish including providing transport to and from work, and even washing the car.

I have dealt with two service advisors over the 6+ yrs Ive had my car, either for service or multiple recalls - always was a very good experience.
I went to this Hyundai dealer twice so far to do maintenance on my car. On my 1st, I waited at least 30 minutes because of people who came late, even though I arrived there on time. Furthermore, my car comes with free maintenance and oil change but the service advisor didnt know until I told him about it! Same thing happened on my second visit! What a mess! They should pay more attention and respect their customers time. If this happens again, I wont go back to the dealer!

They just play games and don’t really try to help you get a good deal they just ask for more money for you to put down every time and they make you go get things you don’t need. A waste of time personally 2020 sonata cars were shaking while test drive and they try to make it seem like it was good and try to sell it to us. Terrible place tbh
I have purchased two cars here so far. One in 2016 and one yesterday. Both times we were in and out very quickly. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Id recommend a friend to come here to purchase. The bathroom smelled like a port-a-potty tho. Other than that, no complaints.

When I called this showroom they said they had the last car left for the model I was looking for and I better get myself there fast. Since the deal the sales person mentioned was attractive I went right away from East Bay. Guess what there was nobody with the name employed there and the model I was looking at was sold three weeks ago. They were gearing up to run my credit and place an order for the model costing at 37grand. Never had such experience in any dealership so far.
Rude and unprofessional staff. I traveled from SF to look at a particular vehicle that I was told the day before was on the lot. I came to the dealership the following morning to find out they had sold that vehicle the evening before and did not inform me of the sale before I had driven out here. There was one model left 500 miles away which one nicer salesman offered to have shipped to this location, but the manager refused to honor the quote I had been given the day before, citing that now it was a new month and they couldnt honor a previous promotion, despite the fact the salesman who gave the quote had not told me that the promotion would expire the day before. Total waste of my time that could have been easily avoided with better communication from the staff. The manger or owner is a very rude, angry man. Honestly, this whole experience turned me off from this particular dealership and Hyundais generally. Ill likely never return after this horrible experience.

David Kay definitely gets 5 stars...detailed explanations that I can understand, and because I wait there for my car, he updates me on what is being done, and approximately how much longer it will take. He is knowledgeable and friendly/courteous.
Had an intermittent issue with ignition, it was hard to catch. Brought the car to the service and one hour later knew the reason - faulty alternator. Replaced by warranty, quick and easy.
My cars transmission has been very jerky and took my car to San Leandro Hyundai 3 times and they told me they couldnt find any problem with the car. Then I took my car to Dublin Hyundai and they nailed down the problem at the first attempt. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Danny was my advisor and Rohan was the technician. They have done a terrific job. Danny kept me informed during the process and explained what would be the next steps with the timeline. I live in Alameda and there is another Hyundai Service 5 miles from my house but I will drive 25 miles to get even oil change at Dublin Hyundai. I am very impressed!!!

I bring my vehicle in for service. The staff is always super nice. The waiting area is clean. Sometimes I hang out or other times I use their shuttle services. They usually get me in and out within a reasonable time or at least give me status of progress.

I want to share ugly feedback for Samir Zemaryalai (sales person in Dublin Hyundai). He was very impatient in answering the questions. I was interested in car purchase and the way he was talking to me was not at all good. He should remember that he is talking to a customer. He was being very rude instead of answering the questions politely. He hang up the phone on me 2 times. This is not at all a good experience. Please be careful before you connect with him.
If you ever needed to purchase a vehicle and have a dealership stand behind there product this is definitely the place. Great customer service, especially from Peter in service Dept., something your not going to find anywhere else.
