The process of purchasing my 2018 VW Tiguan R-Line from MAG was fantastic, I can’t praise them enough for the fantastic customer service and process from start to finish.I called MAG from Atlanta where I reside, and spoke to Drake who held the car pending my arrival a few days later. I was collected from the airport by Steve, a MAG representative who continued the fantastic customer service, he is a very personable guy and provides a great customer facing experience.The location is nothing short of incredible, Drake was as great in person as he was on the phone, really can’t speak highly enough of him, fantastic.My only frustration is that I couldn’t use my own finance company due to being out of state which in the end cost me more due to a higher interest rate offered from the dealership.Overall, MAG made one of the more stressful experiences you have rather enjoyable, and I got a great deal on a wonderful car.

Bought a new Tiguan this week after my old VW hit 102,000 miles. My salesperson, Tim, was great. He was able to answer all my questions about different models and trim levels, and how upcoming 2022 models would differ from current inventory. He even worked with me to quickly answer questions after business hours. Was very happy with my resulting car purchase and the overall experience.

For 20 years they’ve always made me feel like they are doing me a favor as a customer rather than me patronizing their business. The purchase always symbolizes the end of the minimal amount of attention from the dealer you will get. And then there’s the service. Try getting someone to answer, after which you can count on a 3week wait. Go Germaine, Kelly BMW or finer dealers in Dayton, Cinnci or Cleveland.

Our MINI had a loose bolt on the door hinge and it was loosening further each time the door opened/closed. The bolt was a star pattern and needed a special wrench to tighten it. I drove by MAG MINI at lunch seeing if someone could quickly tighten it. I was expecting to have to make a service appointment, but the service writer (during her lunch break) grabbed a MINI Tech who quickly greeted me and tightened the bolt. A handshake and a thank you and I was on my way.

I have been a customer at Midwestern Auto Group for over twenty years and couldn’t think of anywhere else to go for a new car. My lease was near the end for my 2018 Tiguan, so I responded to an email from Derek Watts (VW Sales Manager) about turning in my car early. Within minutes I received a response from him letting me know that he had received my message. A few minutes later, I received a text and email from Ryan Thacker (VW Sales Specialist). Ryan and I exchanged messages about what I wanted in a new car and set up a time to meet. I took my Tiguan a week later to MAG so Ryan could appraise it and left with a new 2021 Jetta! I wasn’t planning on leaving with a new car that day, but Ryan made it happen! He was kind, professional, and so knowledgeable! I had previously mentioned that I needed to leave by a certain time and he made it all work, so that could happen as well. He also took the time to show and explain to me the new features of the Jetta. It has been a few days since I leased my new car and I received a follow-up call From Ryan checking in. I am thankful and appreciate everything about my recent experience at MAG, most importantly meeting Ryan Thacker. I would also caution against MAG (Midwest Auto Group) - I recently bought a car there and was very disappointed in the workmanship of their service department. They caused damage to my car and are not willing to address it post purchase. Most disappointing experience ever dealing with an AD - mistakes happen, it matters how they deal with it once they have your money.

The Maserati sales team and sales manager are the most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. I have never had such a bad experience in my life. I (and my family) have bought and leased several cars from MAG over the years and until now I have had a great experience. However, after dealing with the Maserati department I will NEVER do business with MAG again. No one in my family will either. If zero stars was an option that’s what I would give them.

Im the proud owner of a 2019 VW Tiguan. This makes VW #7. MAG is the best dealer around for all your European auto needs. Sales and service are a 10 everyday at MAG.Chapter 2....VW Tiguan does the Grand Canyon. Im relocating to the warmth of the West Coast. Todays adventure the Grand Canyon. The west rim of Grand Canyon is on the Hualapai Reservation. There is only one road to the base....4WD required. The Tiguan was amazing on the 22 miles of unpaved road. After base canyon I hit the road to the Skywalk. 1/2 of the 2 hour drive was on a dirt road...again Tiguan amazing!!

GREAT SERVICE: YOU CAN COUNT ON MAG VWI was able to schedule an appointment within days.Took my car in for a recall for the air bag. I was told it would take 2 hours and I would be on my way. It was done quicker than that. Because it was early morning I was able to walk the building showrooms. The staff was friendly and my car was washed. In a addition a vehicle health inspection was completed at no cost. I appreciated this proactive feature of service. Today, I recommended MAG VW to a friend who recently purchased a VW Bug.

MAG charged me 4 times ($2700) more than what other repair shops will charge for two things, break fluid flush, coolant fluid flush and general check for my Discovery 2 that I try to keep in best shape possible. Given they were a dealer I decided to go with them. I did some research locally and got some prices from the other dealer in town and 2 more shops, they literally charged me 4 times what the others charge. Why guys? Why? I have no other issues with my vehicle, I am on top of anything and get LR enthusiast to tell me how well is maintained all the time.MAG is a disgrace to the brand in my opinion. Did anyone had a bad experience with them like I did?

I purchased a vehicle Jan. 6,2021 still havent received paperwork. Driving with expired plates, didnt have the title with me, they had me write a check just in case i didnt have it. Stupid as hell on my part. I sent the title and spare key. I called several times still no response or anything. By the way they sold the vehicle i traded inside of 3weeks. Knowing my vehicle wasnt as bad as they claimed.....

Later that day my wifes car stopped functioning and came to a stop in a busy lane of 161 (couldnt even get it off the road). I requested to look at a Porsche and Lotus via the internet contact form. I instantly received a call and text from Shawn (Porsche sales consultant) and Rick (Lotus sales consultant). In both my internet submissions and my text messages, I made it VERY clear that I was NOT in a position to buy, and that IT WOULD BE UP TO A YEAR, OR MORE-before I could afford either. I did not want to waste their time, because I knew there might be customers there at the same time as me, who WERE in a position to buy a car, and who werent just looking toward a future purchase. I was pleasantly surprised that, despite my inability to purchase at the time, they still scheduled time to meet with me. Most people wouldnt.Both of them were very kind, and explained all of the features of the cars, and let me look at them at length. They spent over an hour each with me. And, although they offered, I would not test drive anything, because I didnt want to pull them away from potential buyers. Little disappointed with the sales experience. I have been in the market for several weeks and have been to MAG in person twice (VW both times) and was less than impressed. I had to search for a salesperson to assist me. I have called the used cars (Acura) 3 times and can never seem to get anybody on the phone to schedule a test drive nor have my voicemails been returned.I understand things are tough and a lot of businesses are short staffed. And Im not expecting white glove service, just returning my calls would have been sufficient.The only reason I did 2 stars instead of 1 is because my wife has used VW service for years and was always satisfied. So, VW service, good. Sales, not so much.

Spent more than $60k on a new Audi and they ignored me when I had issues and mislead me, in writing, about what extras were preinstalled on the car. Had to reach out to Audi USA who acted apologetic, and MAG eventually reached and apologized, but I never heard from them again after the apology and my original issue was never even addressed. Go to their competitor on the east side of Columbus if you are buying a new Audi, they’ll treat you better.

Had a very positive experience purchasing a car here recently. This isn’t the first car I have purchased at MAG. Drake Heth (VW Sales) is a great person and very knowledgeable. He was extremely helpful in my car quest. The atmosphere of the dealership in my opinion is a customer based buying environment. I have never felt pressured while trying to buy a car. There is a way I like to shop (without pressure) and MAG has always been that place for me. If in market for a new car or Pre-Owned this is a place to look if you are in search of a Volkswagen.

I have spent the last month looking for a Porsche Cayenne. With today’s Internet I was looking at cars in Detroit in New Jersey and Columbus and put feelers out to all of the dealerships. Took my car in for an engine recall last month and walked out with a bill over $4000. They told me “after taking your engine apart we found all these things that need fixed.” They lure you in making it sound like they are doing you a favor then bam! Why am I not surprised? Just be careful! To add insult to injury my car was dirty when I got it back even though I paid $130 for a detail. (When I asked them why my car was dirty, they said it was for the interior only).

Had routine service, oil change, last April. Popped the hood about a week later and found two shop towels in the engine compartment along with a missing window washer fluid cap. Had a 9:00 am appointment today and when I arrived was told it would be 2-3 hours before they could look at it. Does the service department at Volvo know what an appointment is?

Made a purchase over the weekend from their used car lot and I must say the experience was amazing. I want to call out Katie and Grant for making the experience exceptional, they totally exceeded my expectations. The car was for our daughter, so they offered to tie a bow and put it inside the showroom so that we could present it to her!!! All this place was worried about was a sale. Love my car but everything else is a hassle. 2 months after purchase still no title or spare key. I was told to purchase the key and I would get reimbursed but that does not sound promising due to how everything else was handled. Honestly would have returned the car because of how everything involving this purchase was handled. Not happy and will not recommend.

Its terrible to have to call a dealership and beg for service, I have called 5 times, and have left messages, I actually spoke to the sales manager who was suppose to call me back with trade numbers never called or returned me messages, we have purchased 4 new cars from MAG live in Dublin and can’t even get service. Had to call Land Rover of Dayton to get a response and had numbers within a couple hours over the phone. I wouldn’t recommend MAG if you want good service which is very unfortunate considering how beautiful their complex is. The owner should clean house and get people who actually care about previous customers!!!

I have never encountered such rude staff members. Sales staff lied about services and “perks” available to purchasers. Porsche‘s service department never answers their phones. You are on their time. Not the other way around. No effort is made to remotely provide service in a timely or convenient manner. They never call when software updates to known issues are released, despite asking for updated consistently. My lift gate didn’t work properly for nearly the entire first year after purchase.

Horrible customer service in the service department. I took my car in on July 7th to have the trunk fixed they suggested I have the cables replaced on the convertible top as a preventative measure so I did. Needless to say on July 16th it stopped working again. I dropped it off and 5 days later no one had called, so i called them to find out that is wasnt fixed yet. I spoke to the Service Manager Stan and he wasnt helpful he was upset. It appears customer service isnt something they were trained in. I did manage to finally get my car back July 21st after STAN told me I could come and pick it up in a hour and he didnt want to see me back there again and HUNG UP on me.... DO NOT go to MAG Volkswagon dealership...

Everything was going great, I recently just purchased a 2019 Jetta was very pleased until I had them tint the windows on the car it was less than acceptable. I asked them to legally Make it as dark as possible In the State of Ohio The front 2 windows have to be More than 50% visible But the back windows can be as dark as needed. The dealership offers a blanket 35% tint Which would have been OK if I was told I would have gone somewhere else. Their excuse was liability my answer was I would except the liability. Dark is what I want dark is not what I got. Good sales team bad service.

MAG Audi service has been nothing but a class act. My wife owns an Audi SQ5 that we purchased used from a third party. We have had MAG perform routine services since purchasing. Everyone we have encountered in the service department has been professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating but our last experience was nothing short of amazing.As many others have experienced, we had a rough start to 2020. Roof damage, torn ACL, and my wife catching COVID to name a few. To top it off, we experienced our first mechanical breakdown in the Audi which ended up being the electronic steering rack. As luck would have it the vehicle was recently out of warranty. We were of course going to have MAGs experts perform the repair, but Josh Gutmore in Audi service had a better idea.Josh saw that we were very close to needing the 55k major service performed on the Audi as well. After speaking with the district service manager, Josh offered to replace the power steering rack, free of charge, if we simply perform the scheduled service at that time. Josh expressed to us that he and Midwestern Auto Group wanted to do their part to help healthcare professionals, like my wife, who are on the front lines battling the epidemic. We were blown away as this was no small amount.We simply want to express our gratitude and thank the entire team at MAG for their tremendous gesture. It was a something we never expected, but cant stop talking about. Keep up the great work and we look forward to seeing you at the next oil change!

I recently bought a new Jetta from MAG and as usual had a great car buying experience. Logan was able to find the car I wanted and fit financing into my budget. Logan also went out of his way to make sure we weren’t stuck at the dealership for any longer than was completely necessary . I’d recommend MAG to anyone looking for a new car.

I dont know many who enjoy the car research and buying experience. On a chance meeting on a very newly posted vehicle I came upon Megan Bruzzese at MAG. She was very honest and followed the directions of my request after some emails and phone conversations. When looking at the vehicle it had not been safety inspected and so it could not be driven. Megan presented options going forward to hold a vehicle. This is important when youre out of town. Upon return, we were expecting the vehicle to be safety inspected but not to be tech inspected and fully detailed. She managed to accomplish all of this in only 1.5 business days. A purchase agreement was reached and Megan delivered again by having their touch up specialist complete the requested work in less than 24 hours. Again, being from out of town the timing of the work was beneficial in minimizing subsequent trips to Columbus. She is fun and honest and delivered on what was requested. Attention to detail is a refreshing character trait. Well done.

Edit to my original review. I was contacted by Ernie Green who took over for Craig. He and his technician Allen worked diligently with me to not only correct the original issue, but all of them that were created by the previous team. Happy to see they were able to get qualified people working in their service area.What a horrible experience. Took my Audi TT there for a service engine code #2015. (if you look it up it is the manifold) which was covered under my extended warranty. After a few days Craig called and said it was not the manifold but the rear main seal, but reassured me that it would fix the code. (not covered under warranty and out of pocket cost of $1500) After being several days they let me know that it was more difficult then they had anticipated and they kept it longer. After a few follow up calls (always me calling them, they never called me) the service manager Craig informed me that the starter was cracked. and said they would not accept or deny that they caused that problem, but he would fix it without charge... AWESOME. After they fixed that they informed me that it now had a coolant leak, and it would be an additional $400 to fix it. (I fixed it for $30 once I got it home and that included the antifreeze)Once the car was home the same code returned (duh I knew they didnt listen to me) beyond that, the car is now out of alignment which I am needing to have fixed this week, and the inner fender liner was cut and hanging... Now talking it to a different dealership in Hopes to have it fixed correctly.

1. Super responsive and helpful2. Needed to replace transfer case on 2013 BMW 528. MAG did the work for $2000 about $4000 LESS than Kelly BMW firm quote!! This is not a misprint!3. Much further for me to get here but well worth it. Makes me regret the 15 years I went to Kelly. These guys are more flexible and do anything they can to please. Don’t go elsewhere!

My husband and I are in the early stages of the new car search, something that is always a very thorough undertaking. We have visited several dealerships including MAG. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, especially a lovely young lady named Ashley. She was so friendly and helpful. As we narrow our list, MAG keeps rising to the top.
