They have such a great selection on fabric. I have a Joanns closer to my home but with a better selection, I would drive to this awesome Draper location. The people who work here are also very friendly and helpful.

I love JOANN’s. I always find what I need and they have a good selection. I do wish they had more cashiers. Sometimes it takes a while to get checked out.

Always have a coupon ready (you can always find one) otherwise watch out for over priced items. That being said, they have everything that you could think of (in this realm of items)

This is my favorite Joann location to visit! The employees have always been very kind and helpful. This location keeps pretty good stock of product as well. I find myself buying more decor from Joann than Michaels these days, mostly due to my customer service experiences and the styles of decor they tend to sell.If you havent been here, please go!

Pretty standard Joanns fabrics. Dont forget your coupons! Apparently they have an app with decent coupons on it for those of you that are looking for a deal.

I went to buy some fabric samples expecting to pay $10-15 for two, but my total was only $7! and they had really cute and trendy fabric designs. However, the shelves throughout the store looked a little empty and I assume that they usually have even more fabric designs to choose from. But there was enough for me, otherwise I would have never been able to make up my mind haha :) I expect they are just low on stocking because of Covid-19. The lady who rung me up was so nice and cheery. Overall, I was very satisfied.

I am so in love with the framing that was done recently. Hit their sales and get your framing done here. I will return because the person did such a wonderful job. Not to me too all the other wonderful items they have for sale. I bought dish drying towels that I LOVE.

This one of my favorite Joann locations. They have consistently done a great job at keeping staff and customers masked throughout the pandemic while patiently serving the many of us who are gobbling up mask material. Highly recommend this location.

Ive been looking for material for my wedding dress for weeks. Covid has put things in short supply. I finally found some beautiful material at JoAnns but 1/2 of it was at one location & the other half at this location. When we got there, someone had moved it. An associate helped us look all over the store until we found it. I was so grateful!She saved the day, wonderful customer service!

Joanne s is pretty much the only game in town. If you want fabric, there is almost no competition. Sadly. Never purchase a pattern without them being on sale! Download the app. So you always have coupons, but be prepared to not be able to use the good 50% or more coupon on the fabric YOU want, because something is always on sale. I hate the game. Nevertheless, when corporate took over, it was worse 5 years ago. Theyve started hiring slightly kinder people.

Purchased a bit of fabric during a sale, but did not see a stain on the inside of the solid light pink fabric. I was unable to cut around it for my pattern, so I took it back with a receipt and asked for the exact same fabric and yard - the yard I returned was uncut, unwashed, unmarked other than the stain in multiple areas inside the fold of the fabric. The associate at the cut counter assisted me, and even had to cut out a similar stain on the bolt that was on the fabric I was returning - clearly I was not responsible for the stain on the yard I returned. At the register, despite having a receipt that states the store allows exchanges, I was advised that they dont do exchanges; only returns and charging difference from current and previous price. I was eventually able to get the cashier to accept the return without putting it in the computer, and finish the transaction by only charging me for the patterns I wanted to purchase that day. What a hassle!If you dont accept exchanges for the exact same item, especially for items I am unable to use beyond my control, you need to remove exchange from your policy. Your policy on your website also states exchanges, but is pretty vague as well. It makes me hesitant to purchase from the company and/or location.TL;DR: examine every inch of your intended purchases before cashing out, they dont do exchanges. Only returns and charge the difference of price at time of return.

The customer service is super poor 90% of the time I go in. I am also sick of all their coupons that are incredibly deceiving. There is too much fine print that doesnt clarify everything. I feel like I have just been putting up with it for years. I would rather support a company that supports its customers. I recognize most people will still continue to shop here, but I am going elsewhere from here on out. I am tired of being treated less than I deserve.

This is my happy place. I find all the things i need to make something beautiful. Often times i get inspired just being in the store. I was able to make this from what i found at Joann.

I love this craft and fabric store so much because they offer a wide variety of merchandise. The staff is really friendly and the store is really organized! It’s also very clean as well! I pay attention to stuff like that especially when I have an 18-month-old son who’s walking and constantly picking things up off the floor. I love that they are always trying to get the customer the best price possible and offer as many discounts as they can! If you sign up for the regular emails or have the app they can get you some really awesome prices!

Great store. Had a good array of soap making supplies. Some joann stores are in short supply of soap making supplies. This store had all of the supplies for Bathbombs, soap. Fragrances, colors, molds and the soap bases needed so I didnt have to go to multiple stores or order it. GreAt experience, this will be my preferred store from now on.

I have visied two Joanne stores and the stock for polymer clay and several other items was extremely low. I did get some excellent 80% off Christmas 🎄 items.

I am not sure what this place is like 10 months out of the year. I came here to get some fabric for a Christmas project we were working on and it was a nightmare. The store isnt organized in a way that was logical to me. I also saw the fabric line was long and decided to wait until the line died down. It wasnt until fifteen minutes later I realized they had a take a number system. Im sure normally the store isnt as crazy, but after waiting an hour for dinner fabric to get cut, I left getting very jaded and frustrated.

Crazy store layout. Terrible to find sales. Really nothing special. Oh, and Halloween decorations are out in July. Booo!

While I love that this location is big and has a great assortment, the management is not so great!I had a return to make which was an online purchase. The poor girl who was helping me was really struggling. As she was asking the manager for help, the manager was quite rude to her and got frustrated that she didnt know how to do the return.After getting my return processed, by this rude manager, I continued to shop and then returned to the same girl. She apologized for the previoussituation, explaining she had not been trained yet on these returns. I told her it was no big deal, that we all have to learn some time, but that her manager was quite rude and I didnt appreciate that. Her response was that the manager was upset because she had to close and opem the next day.While I understand, a manager should never show their emotions to the customer, nor should they treat their stuff rude, especiallyin front of customers! Additionally, a manager should take learning opportunities to train their stuff and show their customers they care!I have seen this manager many times be rude to her staff and it has been such a turn off that I no longer wish to shop here and will drive the distance to other locations in order to avoid interacting with her!

Joanns has everything a seamstress needs. Their paper crafts are not as diverse.

My wife needed a cake base and we found it right there

None of the employees at the draper location seem to have a sense of urgency, i took a number at the cut counter and waited for over an hour ... in that hour with three people at the cut counter they managed to get through 6 people... they were talking and taking their sweet time with each other in between customers while me and about 30 other women stood at the cut counter looking at each other awkwardly and getting really impatient, I finally got fed up and left without buying anything, this is the second time this has happened to me at this location. If you stick with any other location you will be just fine I always have a good experience at any other joanns.

I placed an online order early in the afternoon, hoping to pick it up later that evening before they closed. I call about 45 minutes before close to inquire about my order but the lady was quite rude and very unhelpful. When I explained I was trying to check on the status of my online order, she told me it takes a few hours. I explained it had been several hours and I was hoping to pick up that evening. Rather than simply telling me no, or that it wouldnt be ready that evening, she stated I should just call back tomorrow and hung up.I was able to get my order the next day but the product was poor quality. What I had intended to purchase matched what the package was labeled as, but that is not what was in the package. I would not suggest this joanns location, as this is not the only poor experience Ive had here. I also cant waste money on incorrect products in which I cant utilize for my projects. I will likely pass on shopping at Joanns any longer

Wife and I got a ticket to get our fabric cut. We were about 15 people back before we could get our fabric cut. We figured it wouldnt take long, with there being Three Employees and a Manager that would come and help, all of them only cutting fabric... well thats where we were completely wrong. As soon as they finished with a single customer the employees would stop, talk, joke around with one another taking their sweet time, wiping the counters as if they had stains and had to make them white as snow! ... After about 20min and only about get through 1 person the wife and I decided to keep looking around their store and came back. Another 10 min later they had barely got though 1 more person and about another 15 more had pulled tickets and everyone, 30-40 people (no way we socially distanced),was literally just waiting in a crowd waiting for their ticket to get called ... Within the hour and fifteen minutes they had gone through about 8 people.... 8 PEOPLE! THERE IS NO REASON IT SHOULD TAKE 3 EMPLOYEES AN HOUR AND 15 MIN. TO GET THROUGH 8 PEOPLE. Weve never waited more that 15 min at any other Joanns, even with a line just as big. Needless to say we ended up leaving without a thing because we need to be elsewhere. NEVER GO TO THE JOANNS IN DRAPER!!!

Kathryn at the Draper,UT location was phenomenal. She was so sweet and helpful especially during these trying times. She donated a bag of reusable face masks as well as some scrubs to Ashby Home Health and Hospice. She deserves some great recognition for her kindness and generosity. If you are looking for some fabric or craft supplies the Draper location is the one to go to!

Joann’s won’t enforce the mask mandate during a pandemic. I won’t be coming back until the pandemic is over. Shame on you for putting your employees and other customers at risk because of a couple of selfish people.

Understaffed. Very long lines at checkout, only 2 checkstands open, 1 of them being hassled by unmasked women trying to get more discounts on all the yarn they are buying, they then dump their purses on the counter to gather up their loose change so they didnt have to break a $20. What a nightmare. The poor employees.

Do NOT purchase online to pick up at this store! Today was 3rd STRIKE. I should know better. I have 3 times now ordered online in stock items to be picked up at the Draper, UT store and each time items were not available when I have gone in to pick up! This is after I have received a text and email that my order was rest for pickup. The 1st time my order was missing items and I wasn’t told they didn’t have everything. 2nd time. They couldn’t find my order for 20 minutes and it was also short some of the items. Today 3rd strike- 3 employees couldn’t find my order after 15 minutes and of the 4 items I had ordered she went to the display and pulled 1 table cloth off and put it in a bag and said that’s all we have for you. So left the store with out 3 items that were the main focus of my purchase. The employees are very apologetic, however I should not be told my order is ready to be picked up and then have such issues every time. I won’t order online again. Sorry Joann’s you’ve lost a customer this time.

They usually always have the yarn i need but there was nothing and it was a mess. I will give them credit though because it was right before Christmas & people were grabbing things like crazy

Ive always loved Joann for crafts and fabric. Ive gone there for a lot of years and now my girls go.

I give this 4-stars because the sewing machines are sold by a separate and different company inside the store. They keep their own space inside the store, have their own phone number, and have their own hours that are also different than Joanns. The downside to this is that nobody from Joanns is able to help and answer questions about the sewing machines. And if you want to order sewing machines, well you have to wait until they are there. It is very inconvenient.As for Joanns, this store has about anything that you would need for fabrics and crafts. They actually have a great selection of cake decorating items.

Great store and great staff! Despite bit being crazy around the holidays, the staff here is still smiling and willing to help out. Most everything is still organized and I was happy to have been able to easily find what I needed in a decent amount of time.

I never leave reviews ever... But after my experience today I can’t help but leave a review so everyone else doesn’t waste their time especially in a time like this. I went in and spent well over an hour looking for fabric along with many others in the store. I understand with the circumstances we are all going through right now they are busier than usual. However, when you have customers spending hours of their time going through your store with the intentions of spending hundreds to make masks for local businesses and families and at 4:35 you go and say everyone needed to get a ticket by 4:30 or they couldn’t get their fabric cut. It is wrong!!!! No sign on the door or anywhere, nothing online, no warning at all, just everyone’s time wasted. Nobody had any warning a head of time other than telling them they are five minutes late. The manger was very unhelpful and not understanding. To say the least I would’ve been fired from my job if I had handled it the way he did. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I work retail and understand things get busy and sometimes you have to cut things short so you can get out at a decent time but you need to have communication With your customers instead of wasting their time. It was not okay at all and the way it was handled. So worth going to a different location or support your local fabric stores!!

Customer service is awful at the Draper store! I placed an order and paid online. They have a short time window to pick up your items or they cancel without any prior notification. They do not state anywhere the timeframe an item must be picked up so I assumed since I am paying in advance they would keep my items. We are traveling through on Thursday and planned to pick up my order then.I had an order at Spanish Fork as well since one store didnt have everything I needed. They not only called to see if I was coming, they offered to ship the items which is definitely going beyond what they should to serve. Thank you Spanish Fork store

Since Google wont stop asking me to review, Im going to be honest. I hate going to Joanns, but sometimes it needs to be done. Everything is over priced, and I loathe that little maze they make you go through to check out. When I can, I support local businesses for fabric or order online.

This is my go-to place for art supplies. Wayyy more reasonably priced than the Michaels down the street. They have a good selection of fabric, too, if thats what youre looking for. I personally go for paint supplies and they are pretty reasonably priced. There always seem to be sales.

When theres a single cashier, she must call for help, while many other people in line waiting for her to get done with a complicated customer.

They had what I needed and it was reasonably priced. Employees were polite and moved quickly to get customers through the line.

I ordered online for curbside because I am immunocompromised and unable to walk in the store. I was on hold for a half an hour before Zurich walked out into the parking lot and asked to help me. He got my order for me very quickly even though they were very busy. I’m very grateful that he did this. I realize that it’s been a difficult time for stores with less hours and less people and I was going to return the next day but he saved me a trip back and made it so I could continue to limit my exposure and stay safe. Very professional!

We arrived at 4:55. We had to beg the guy to let us in. They close at 5 pm. When we got inside the woman wouldn’t cut our fabric. We had to beg for that too. If I have to beg to beg to spend money If I have to beg to spend money I’m going to quit going. Terrible experience. Cashier was super nice. She was the only reason we will go back.

I placed an online/pick-up order 5 days ago. I still have not received confirmation that it is ready so I decided to stop by after work to check on it. THEY DECIDED TO CLOSE AT 5PM!!! Their phone message still says that their restricted hours are until 6. All the other stores are open until 7. How am I supposed to pick up my order if I work til 5pm? In the 5 minutes I was there, at least 30 other customers came by. Most of them to pick up online orders. Not Cool! Bad business!!!

Big store with a huge selection of fabrics!

Shopping in this store never fails to deliver an unpleasant experience. Long lines to get fabric cut, longer lines to get checked out, messy fabric displays, and expensive, low quality fabric makes this store not worth going back to.

Lots of quilting games. Not much of anything else. I find some material I really liked for a dress and they only had a yard of it and no other bolts. The employee didnt seem to care to try to find another. He just told they were out and had no idea if they would be getting more in.

I drove 30 minutes out to this store to get fabric that one of the employees said they had over the phone, but didn’t (a simple plain cotton black). I spoke with the manager and another employee who were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond, but disappointed I was given the wrong information and wasted my time.

Big huge shout out to Kathryn Brown at the Draper store!!! She went WAY above and beyond for me and many others today. I work for Ashby Home Health & Hospice and was purchasing fabric to make face masks for our healthcare workers and patients and when she found out, she offered support and solutions that are desperately needed and greatly appreciated. I tried to order online and it would not let me. I drove from Orem to Draper because the computer said it had the fabric I wanted and it didnt have it. Extremely frustrated.

The girl at the register was just beautiful, I didnt have the courage to ask for her number tho. I got some watercolor for a hike I was doing.

Alison was so helpful. I had no idea what I was doing, and she was super patient with me.

I went in for fabric and I grabbed a number before I looked at their selection (they were busy). 25 minutes later and they were still on the same number and had 19 more to go, no exaggeration. There were 3 or 4 people working, cutting fabric too.I left and tried to place my order online for pick up and they cancelled it twice (2 different orders for different fabrics that said in stock) stating it was out of stock. When I went back into the store (same day they cancelled) I was able to find the fabrics they cancelled due to not having in store, and they had plenty.

I love shopping here for everything I need for my cross stitch projects. I use the app to redeem coupons, which is convenient. I also have had good experiences shopping online and picking up in store. They also have a great selection of yarn and fabric.
