Very clean, great selection of healthy foods, and very nice employees ready to assist you at any time. It was a very pleasant experience for me. I recommend this grocery store to anyone that values the food they eat

Adding new pix of their updated chicken menu... Best market to shop around. Clean... Neat... Organize... Cashiers are very polite. Normally go for the fried chicken party pack. 50 piece chicken is the way to go for a gathering of 15 guests & price not to bad.

I usually give high remarks, but this time was different. I ordered a grocery delivery in the morning.The delivery was confirmed between 8pm-9pm(a $9.95 charge). Come 8pm,nothing. Come 9pm,nothing. I called store,it took about 20 minutes to get through to manager. It turned out,the person handling my delivery left home at 8pm. I had to drive down to store to pick-up my delivery. I asked for refund on delivery charge,but manager said he couldnt do anything about it. I remained patient through whole ordeal,but it was a pretty messed up experience. I hope they get it right next time.

I like Albertsons, always clean, well organized has good quality goods!! Has the best Soda Bread.I LOVE their liquor section, not that I’m an alcoholic but has great prices good variety.The only thing is by the deli meat/sfd section has a bit of a funky smell. But I do recommend going there.

As I pulled into the parking lot, I was looking for parking spot. The parking lot was full of shopping carts blocking the parking stalls. This is ridiculous.The store is spacious and stocked. I found they stock a wine I havent seen in a while. Thank you!! The self check out was closed and long lines were bad.I hope they fix the parking and self check out soon.

There was no one there. So it was a quick in and out.

I had pretty low expectations for these Downey Albertsons, which I stopped at because it was on the way between Long Beach and Los Angeles, but I was impressed enough to write this review. It was much bigger than your typical Albertsons, with a full pharmacy. The bathrooms were spacious and well maintained. The parking lot is also very big. Brightly lit.

So sorry that a lot of Albertsons Super Markets closed but this Downey store is one of the most Beautiful, Clean, markets ever and should be in everyones neighborhood I will definitely be shopping here more often. 😊

BEST FRIED CHICKEN EVER

Heard they were reopening, went Thursday waited till 8 p.m. so would not be crowded, the store looked the same, things were moved around, things looked new, found great deals went for the special on ground beef but there was none, but got everything else I wanted There was only one checker open but as soon as they saw 3 people waiting they opened up another one so it was fast and the employees were very friendly and helpful. The lady bagger did a great job in bagging my groceries. Keep up the good work you guys. I will be back

Right now there is some interior construction going on but was very clean still. It was still a very pleasant trip. The produce guy was very nice and insightful about the veggies (sorry I dont remember his name). The cashiers were nice and very quick (I had a careful of stuff, surprised how fast I got out). Store has great selection for specialty diets.

This Albertsons is always clean and the people there are really nice. I love how I can go there and it’s never too crowded. This is the place where we go to get the $5 deals. Also I get the 5 cases of sodas for $1.99 each.If you need a place to stack up on drinks and juices and some junk food they got good deals on Wednesday’s.

My experience today at your store was very disappointing I went through the line the cashier her name was Ruby I presented her with a coupon for a roasted chicken and she said she couldnt accept it for example through it was a free coupon that they sent me in the mail for I just moved into the area I had just come out of church and I told her to call the manager on duty so I can talk to him she told me she was a manager I said to myself what kind of manager did not know how to write this coupon it took her around 7 minutes to finally accept the coupon and I didnt want to hold up the line and I had another coupon if you spend $25 or more you were able to get $5 off the total for I was a neighbor to give her the coupon or I just wanted to leave at that time I will never stop by your store in Downey Id rather drive further down to Montebello that was my old store better customer service better management you need to retrain your manager Ruby to deal with the customers and have better customer service

I really dont come to this store but I really needed something that I forgot to buy and everything was mostly closed. This store was very organized and pretty much had anything you can think of. The cashiers were friendly and they had fast service.

If i need a good cake Albertsons has always been a good place for one. This store is very clean and produce looks fresh. Flowers are such an added bonus. You can even score some Halloween decorations or some nice looking pumpkins. As for the cakes, I was surprised to see a yogurt mousse cake. I bought it because my daughter, whos birthday i was celebrating, is not a sugar afecianto. So I thought Id sacrifice myself. Surprisingly, the cake was very good. Will definitely be visiting the store for our future cake orders.

Im a doordasher and I came to pick up a order . I had to ask two employees and a manager to help me and I bin waiting for about 15 minutes.. there customer service is not great . I would expect better help and attitude

The deli has a good array of food available throughout the day. My only complaint is the high prices on basic goods. Its much more expensive than my local Walmart grocery store.

Love this store, but I give it 4 stars because I went there for a metallic helium balloon that was 14.99 for just one ballon, I choose it from a sealed package the employee inflated it for me but as soon as i got home it was deflating, soo sad because i bought it to gift it, and for 14.99 it was so disappointing, next time 99c store for sure .. btw party city down the street was closed alredy an albertsons was my only option.

I like Albertson stores, it always look clean and offer good customer service. In this visit I purchased the Mango Habanero chicken in the kitchen department, it is delicious. The service in the kitchen was great, everyone is smiling and very nice.

Ever since they closed Luckys down the street from my house I have been having to come here. I came here to buy carne asada and I cooked it today and it was just horrible. It was tough and the flavor now is so weird. They changed the flavor to something that tastes orangey and weird. I hate it. I dont know but can yall do something about this. Change it back to how things were.
