I traveled from Long Beach to find a item I saw online. Once in the store I didnt see what I was looking for. I was approached by a young man name Rubin asking did I need help. I showed him the item on my phone, and with no hesitation he searched the aisle he thought it was on and then went to the back and came out with it! I am more than Thankful! At the register I was greeted by a friendly smile from Nathaniel help me get batteries for a toy my kids had grab while they were being all over the place. Their customer service made my experience a great one! Thanks for making my new plants a home!

If its available instore but you order online best to go get it yourself. Store employees do not prioritize online orders. Meaning even if the item was there when you purchased online by the time one of the employees get to your order it could already be gone. Especially during the holidays. Still, instore is not bad. Employees can be moody.

Big Lots doesnt always have a massive selection of things. But when they do its a great price. This particular one is a little bit messy but you get what you pay for.

My wife and I like to shop at Big Lots because you find everything like food,bath items,home items including furniture for house for a great deal.

ZERO STARS. Helpful and friendly associates put bitter and rude manager to shame. Would’ve left an amazing review if the manager would’ve honored the price on an item I purchased online which later was cancelled due to inaccurate stock information on the website. Came back to purchase the same item two days later like I was instructed by the staff and she just gave me the run around knowing damn well she could just override the price. Wasn’t going to sit there and argue over $15 either. Money’s not going in her pocket so I guess it’s just that power trip complex thing that all people who hate their job have.

This is really a do-it-yourself shopping experience. They have few floor service staff.

Left without making my purchase,alot of customers in line for check out only one cashier working. Didnt have the time to waste...holidays are here adequate staffing is a necessity. Better luck next time.

Pro: there is a new security guard I found helpful, had some new items in stock which was a nice surprise., everyone is wearing a mask. Con: not enough working shoppings csrts, most are broken, dirty, & from other stores. Also need more sanitizer stations not just at entrance. But also at register. Thanks for reading.

I was very surprised to find seasoning spices at such a great price . It beats supermarket prices.

I needed a plant stand and they had a three tier one at such a great price my neighbors were envious. Their price was a fraction of the same thing elsewhere.

The store is a mess, lots of merchandise is unmarked with the price tag. So you cant find a price or see one on the shelves. Who wants to ask someone what is the price on so many items. The entry to the store is apparently a refuge and campground for the homeless. Need i say more.

Used to have great discounts, but now no better the any other store. Sometimes you can find some import food items here if your into that . Overall just a so so store. I preferred when it was Pic N Save way back when.

Ive complained about this place always at evening time looking as if its closed, poorly lighted front of store and parking lot. This Will surely make a huge loss of business if people dont know your open and also feel unsafe at night. Ive even contacted corporate offices and nobody has addessed the issue. Big Lots will loose millions of dollars and go bankrupt if somebody doesnt take command of this company and figure out what to do with it. Ive run my business for 50 years and can see the problems mounting. DO SOMETHING BIG LOTS !!!

Free parking. Kind of difficult to get to the lot if youre heading West on Firestone...there is no U-turn at the light onto Lakewood. Good prices. Store is pretty organized. Good selection of products and frequent sales.

Unbelievable is was only 12:45 and they only had 1 cashier it took 25 minutes to pay after 15 minutes waiting the manager finally put another cashier to help with the long line waiting to pay

Loved it! Some of the cashiers was accurate and very nice to the customers. Location Los Angeles,Ca. Manchester & Crenshaw. I said something about a blanket for sale real cheap. Try shopping at the location at Superior Market believe it or not there Blankets are going for only $9.00 to $12.00. 😸

A Very Nice Store.

I always find interesting items here and I love the hunt. Gave my brothers bedroom a minor organizational make over the other day and found everything I needed to wrangle all his stuff: plastic bins, Comand hooks, an over the door shoe organizer that was used for all his computer and electronic device wires, and to top it off beef jerky and toilet paper. I love Big Lots!

These stores can be like a diamond in the rough!Lots of discount merchandise,and its still top quality,and name brands just much less expensive! Just look around and U will find a well priced set of outdoor/patio furniture for less than $30,and tons of house hold products and they have Delivery at some stores,so check to see if U need it delivered!

Very nice store. Could and does need some Customer service refresher. Not very helpful. Asked for the big bins for storage and was told that was all they had against wall... I kept looking and founf a whole aisle of storage bins yet was told different.

The Downey store doesnt have much, like before. Its sad.

Oddly enough i come here for food. They have a really cool selection of crackers and cookies and condiments. All for a great price.

I had a great experience at big lots in Downey. The two young men that helped me get a mattress had to do extra work to get the mattress I wanted, they had a great attitude about it, got me the discounts on it and helped me put it up on my SUV. I was really impressed and happy with thier willingness to help.
