They repaired my 2011 jetta ac and replaced the timing belt and water pump It didnt take long and now Im able to survive the heat. Everything has been working well, since they serviced my vehicle. Definitely, will be going back should I require further services down the road.
Honest and knowlegeable, once they repair an issue its for good.
Brought my Audi A4 B8 here for suspension diagnosis pre-pandemic and they said some parts would need replacing later down the line. Fast forward today, I emailed the shop to get a quote on labor and install for parts i bought myself. Engine mounts and cv joint boots.Travis emailed back the following : We do not allow clients to bring in their own parts as we only supply parts and labor due to liability and not being able to keep our doors open if we only provided labor (hope you understand). First of all, you keep your doors open either way because you are charging me for labor which will cost more than the parts themselves. The mounts were $50 and the boots were $20. Labor for this job is well over $400.00If a customer like me brings in a few parts, you are NOT prohibited from keeping your doors open because people like me are but a tiny fraction of the majority of your business. You would still be charging me labor. So in essence, you are actually LOSING business and money by turning me away. Think about that.Secondly, a well respected shop and mechanic knows that there are customers that supply and source their own parts outside of the repair shop itself. Thats why they are open to charging for labor and NOT WARRANTY the repair since the parts were brought in my the customer. Of course you have your clients and customers who are more than willing to have the shop supply parts but this is not always so. To turn away a customer for fear of not making any business or money is contradictory from a business perspective because you are already making money regardless.I called another shop and they were more than willing to help me. You either make some money, or dont make money at all. In this case, Travis thinks not making money at all by turning me away is more logical than making some money by charging me labor. Go figure. Definitely not professional at all.
Westwerk German Auto is the place to go for honest recommendations by knowledgeable and established Porsche specialists. As a female I am often wary about male dominated businesses assuming Im an uninformed and unintelligent girl that can be surreptiously or even blatantly exploited due to my gender. Westwerk German Auto was not only professional, but they treated me with respect and honesty. Any and all questions I had were answered thoroughly and without derision.1st visit - I had them do a PPI on a 2002 Porsche Boxster S, they pointed out many things that would require immediate attention and a detailed list of preventative maintenance that they suggested for the near future. Needless to say I did not purchase that car as the owner was not willing to negotiate a fair price for a vehicle that required such extensive repairs.2nd visit - General service of 2001 Porsche Boxter S. Westwerk performed an Oil and Filter change plus a detailed list of preventative maintenance on my new purchase.3rd visit - Full-Service Maintenance. After speaking with Travis, the owner, I felt very comfortable moving forward with the options and recommendations that Westwerk provided. They performed a total diagnostic inspection on my 986 and together we came up with a game plan (IMS Solution, rear struts, spark plugs and tubes, clutch, brake and coolant service, AC service, and alignment). Travis kept me updated on everything, calling me to offer suggestions on things they uncovered while performing my initial repairs. Like anything that requires maintenance, new issues arise during repair. He was able to help me triage those issues according to my budget. For instance my hardtop had worn out Alignment Guide Pins, these pins secure the hardtop to the front windshield frame. They needed replacing, parts were $11 for something that I had no idea about (that was most likely the cause of a strange noise detectable at high speeds while driving through high wind areas like San Gorgonio Pass, where the wind farm is located). This made the car immensely quieter at higher speeds as well as giving me peace of mind that the top was secure. Travis was also able to get me a new Boxster script B (at a nominal price) as mine was cracked, this really makes my 986 look perfect even though its a 19 year old Porsche. Aesthetics are important, though take a backseat(no pun intended) to mechanical repairs and upgrades so it was really nice that Travis gave me a deal I couldnt refuse! A new front windshield cowl was also replaced as it was weathered. While replacing my struts Wally the Porsche Certified Mechanic/Technician noticed that my Headlight Level Sensor Strut Support was cracked and not functioning correctly and needed to be replaced. Wow, what a difference that makes with the Xenon HID Headlights.Overall it was another awesome experience with Westwerk German Auto. They were fast, honest, affordable, and right on time. Travis & Wally were exceptional at keeping me informed and letting me know about anything that fell outside the scope of the original quote. The price was so much less expensive compared to the Porsche dealerships in the area. Westwerk prices made my wallet extremely happy!I would not hesitate to recommend Westwerk German Auto to anyone that needs their Porsche serviced. They will be replacing my front struts when the time is due, Wally let me know that I have more than a few miles left on them. They didnt insist that I needed all 4 replaced, this is the kind of honesty that I appreciate. I will be a Westwerk customer for life.

Travis displays a strong customer service ethic and value based services. Westwerk is a great alternative to the high cost and relentless upsell you get at the dealer. Highly recommend.
Travis was amazing with giving advice and pricing for a PPI(pre-purchase inspection). Went above and beyond answering any questions or concerns I had and also took the time to really understand and offer a total solution for my needs. Highly recommend this location.
