After a negative experience with the owner of Spice and Tea Merchants of Downers Grove, my friend and I checked this store out. There are lots of tea shops, some of which are very close by to this one, that will treat you condescendingly if you are a college aged customer. However the owner of this one was extremely knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor! Will be going back as soon as I can!

I am a fairly new customer, and have challenged Zack with my ideas. Not only has he been the BEST ever with customer service, but he has given my ideas life. With the charge of creating special gifts for family milestone birthdays, he created unforgettable combinations. When charged with a holiday gift, he made it the not special ever. Lucky for me my family loves tea. More lucky for me...Zack is awesome! If you are not sure what teas or combo of teas and alliances to gift, he can help you through it. And make it the best gift EVER. Im grateful for Zack and Culinary teas.

Very friendly and helpful staff I was greeted as as I walked into the door and I was approached and asked several times did I need any help with finding anything.

Dropped in last weekend to see what they had. The gourmet food is awesome and all of the tea is fresh and the owners really care about the products they sell. Tried a kombucha and it was great. If you’re downtown Downers Grove make sure to stop in and check it out. I will be back and will tell my friends and family.
