Well maintained and neat. Probably one of the best Jewel Osco in the area. Definitely wider range and varieties of inventory than most Jewel I have been in, both the groceries as well as the liquor department

The parking lot and the store are smaller than many other Jewel stores I have been to. It felt more crammed together as well. The prepared foods are good my family likes the fresh sushi case and the chicken on Mondays.

Great huge deli!!! Only watch out for soon to expire dairy products especially if the are on sale. Otherwise good place to shop!!!

Jewels is my go to for groceries..food is always fresh..take advantage of the coupon clipping on web site...

Worst Jewel ever. Wrong prices constantly. They act like you’re the bad guy when you ask about correct price. Management was extremely unhelpful when asked to look at video footage of outside when someone hit and spit on my truck. Manager actually said “i looked at video and you parked pretty close to them”.No, i didn’t i said, i was well within the 2 lines and I have a pretty big truck. . He said “ok i don’t know you were close” Seriously? I didn’t need his opinion- i just needed info on vehicle for police. I’ve had so many infuriating experiences at this particular Jewel that’s it’s almost funny. I’ve lived here all my life and it’s always been a joke. People go this location only out of pure convenience.

Not sure if any management is going to see this, but you guys might want to check out whats going on in the meat department.....bought about $15 worth of ground beef yesterday that said it was packaged 5/20, looked fine on the outside. Got home to cook it and it was completely oxidized on the inside (inedible). Took it back today and exchanged it for a smaller package (lost $7), looked fine on the outside and it said it was packaged today, got home to try cooking it (again) and the exact same thing. Pictures are yesterdays versus today. They werent out of refrigeration for more than 30 minutes before I opened the package. Never had a problem with meat here before today, so Im not too sure whats going on

I had a business trip to that area. I needed to get a birthday cake for an employee who was with me. Nichole was my cashier and she said if I went back to the bakery they would write on it. They did and even made me a bag to carry the cake flat in. It made the cake so much better with her name on it. Thank you Nichole and thank you to the taller man in the bakery. Cutting that big bag to make it work should let you know who you are. Im sorry I didnt get your name. Great customer service.

Cashier didn’t have her mask on. Sign in the window says customers have to have a mask on, but yet their own employees don’t. Go figure. And when I comforted the cashier, she stated yelling at me! Absolutely crazy.

Ive been shopping here for years. I love the quality of their meat and vegetables. Excellent customer service. Quite a few of their employees have worked there for years. Speaks volumes for management!

I stopped coming to Jewel about a year ago because of a better hot bar selection but I will be coming in now because I saw the Trump rally yesterday. I heard Jewel caught flack from some customers and I am here to support you for letting anyone whether it be on the right or left peacefully hold signs on the sidewalk near Jewel. We were over charged for the eggs we bought. Out of Jewel eggs and a sign said to take two other types instead, but their computer didnt recognize the brand we got. The store does that alot!

Love my local Jewel. Recently Ive noticed that there is far more stocking during peak shopping hours. They block the aisles with their product. That used to never happen. Now its common.

Much better store than the one in Westmont on Ogden and Cass!!! Clean and product is always available.

Conglomerates like Jewel-Osco never cease to amaze me. They just dont care!I recently tried to return some Rotten produce that went bad after a few days, and guess what? Jewel has conveniently decided to use Covid as an excuse for no longer accepting returns! Can you believe this?So... hopefully I have other peoples attention to let them know NOT to shop at Jewel anymore because they DO NOT BACK THEIR PRODUCTS!!!!!!!Best places to shop are definitely those who accept returns. NOT CROOKS LIKE JEWEL WHO USE COVID AS AN EXCUSE NOT TOO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Theres just something about this place that just feels.... gross. Perhaps its the smell in the meat area, or the temperature of the milk in the cold storage (i.e. it feels warm), or both, but I refrain from ever buying anything here that should be refrigerated. I will say, the produce is actually very good, however.I live across the street, and Id rather go the extra 4 minutes to Marianos unless I just need one or two (non-refrigerated) things quickly.

Imposing on customer to buy 3 items for a lower price.Deli meat looks so overprocessed and is very expensive for the overall international aile is grossly misrepresented, English breakfast spreads non existent,buffet soup not for vegans, lobster bisque has way too many ingredients!!!

Every time I go here Im guaranteed to have a negative experience. I avoid it at all costs because every time Im here I get ignored, the check out lines take forever, and its completely disorganized. Today I went in and two cashiers were talking while I waited there, being completely ignored. I walked out after a few minutes of staring at them, wanting to get out of there because who wants to spend time in a public place during a pandemic. Nothing new for Jewel! Same thing happens whenever I go there, every time I am reminded why I dont shop there.Marianos and Trader Joes are much better alternatives with higher values and better staff training. Not to mention organization and better prices!

Good grocery selection and great weekly sales. I like their long open hours. Easy to get in and out from the street. Their bakery has great fresh breads. One of the better things about this Jewel is that they kept self- checkout registers, so you can get a quick checkout. Regular priced items can be expensive

Clean store with a decent produce selection. The deli service is usually quick. There is a Chase bank located in the same lobby/lot. Located close to downtown DG just off of Main St.

Used to be decent but the last year have gone down the bucket. Hard rubbery rotisserie chickens, they’re cold section constantly above safe temps in spite of my pointing it out every time I’m there. Buy your bakery bread and donuts or produce but you couldnt give me a tub of butter or milk free out of this store.

DO NOT USE THEIR PHARMACY. It is such a joke. First of all, Im sick and dropping off two prescriptions on my way home from the doctor and the girl takes approximately 20 minutes to put in my insurance info. Just my insurance info. I tell her Ill come back later for my prescriptions. This is at 5. My husband goes in at 6:30 and theyre closed. The girl did not have the decency to tell me they closed in an hour. And why is a jewel pharmacy closing at 6 on a Saturday anyway? Isnt that the point of a Jewel pharmacy? Convenience? Then I call to express my concerns to the manager who literally couldnt care less that theyre medications I need urgently and his pharmacy does not use common sense. And now, since theyre closed and even though theyre part of jewel, NOBODY else at Jewel can help, I cannot even get them transferred to another pharmacy. Nobody here is helpful or compassionate. I definitely do not expect a red carpet. Just a little common sense.

They make really good guacamole at this store. The lines have seemed to move faster. Which was a reason I used to shop elsewhere. But I have seen improvements in waiting times.

The location is good if youre local to the area. Everything I needed was in stock and overall the selection was good. Its a smaller grocery store so the aisles are a bit narrow.

Great selection on some things, horrible on other things. Theres a whole ice cream isle, but I cant find pita bread. If its not your standard white bread American food, its not there or its tucked away. Meat is fantastic, and the prices arent horrible.The cashiers are usually a bother. They often complain to the customers about something. They talk with each other a lot at the expense of the customers time. Its overall a decent store with great produce, but checking out is like pulling teeth sometimes.

Ever since a certain other grocery store opened nearby, this Jewel location got infinitely better. The new open layout for the fruit&veg section, larger offerings of everything organic, etc. The​ meat department still had room for improvement.

It was my first time shopping at this Jewel-Osco. As I was walking from my car towards the store, I asked a young man who worked there, How late are you open? He gave me the biggest, friendliest smile I had seen all day long and answered 12am and welcome to Jewel-Osco. Then inside, they have actual TCF Bank tellers ready to help too. I havent seen that for a long time either. Finally, I found the perfect meal to finish off my long day. This Jewel-Osco has a new food item; Beef Pot Pie. It was hot, fresh, ready to eat and it was very satisfying. I will definitely be back. I saw a lot of great deals.
