This is a great store to shop and browse. Selection sometimes can be oddly limited for ordinary items but fantastic for hard to find items. I guess thats the trade-off... Their private label items are very good quality and I especially like their baby items. Dont forget to dig through the middle for hidden gems!

Nice location. Each location is unique in that my home store has the plant section closer to the entrance, then you come inside and you see the baked goods to the right. Some plants are right inside the door. Produce is next. With this store you come inside and see the plants first. The bakery is to the left and then the produce. Coffee is at two separate locations. In my store, theyre much closer to each other. So its interesting getting used to each location. My cashier wasnt as fast as my local stores cashiers. Maybe she was brand new?

Love the selection and prices. Almost everything has been even better than the things I would buy name brand. Always have beautiful plants and great prices!!

Great place to shop with different varieties form food to hardware. Noted that they are slightly pricey on some goods however you can get almost anything here. I love the snacks section and I go here for organic eggs. They have suprises every week so checkout the weekly advert online or in the mail.

When Lidl first opened I was excited... a new store, some new items for the area and better prices. My visit today shows me things have changed. Im finding better pricing and selections elsewhere. Perhaps as the economy and related issues get better this will change.

Produce is average; they carry some store brand products that are good quality. Their ice cream Gelato is awesome. Premises are overgrown and trashy. You always have to go find a cart because they only round them up at night.

I enjoy the suspiciously low prices at LIDI && I dislike the fact that their hand sanitizing station never has sanitizer stocked in it. BOTH STATION ARE ALWAYS OUT! the trash bins bags are either not placed right side in..so you have to open the bag and place used items inside..OR are always overfilled with trash. THEN inside they usually only have one line open w cashier.,the line back ups are like the one Walmart are famous for. && Lastly in the self checkout you cant use cash or food benefits options which seems counterproductive!

Love this place!! Prices are great, produce is fresh and the meats are beautiful! They have a great selection of things so its easily a one-stop shop!!

Love this store. Great staff. Awesome bakery. Very clean, spacious, good quality food and great prices. I get my spring water here for super cheap, and love browsing the new stuff they put out as it comes in!

Dover did NOT need another Aldi like grocery/supermarket. It needs a TRADER JOES. Self check out machines are in the back of the store. Staffs werent friendly on the day I visited. Prices seemed okay. Quality of the products sold not sure. I didnt shop much items.

Good stuff here. Everything for budget shoppers to finicky organic shoppers. Another German based shopping market in Dover. This discount grocery store uses good business sense to bring great prices to the customer.There is a good overall selection of products here. Just think if Aldi had a bigger brother that didnt need quarters for grocery carts than you would be at Lidl (pronounced Lē-dil).Every month they have theme weeks where they honor a nations cuisine or up an coming popular holiday. This adds new products to the store for greater variety.The biggest standout is the BAKERY with genuine French bakery ingredients and processes at AWESOME prices. Also, you can slice your own bread loaves thick, regular, or thin. See the posted photos.

Nice and clean affordable prices different varieties and lots tasty European chocolate!!!Must try Chef Bombay butter chicken samosa take em home and deep fry them there delicious!!!

Love going here alot of great buy if on a budget and alot of great food,lines are fast,you bag your own but they get you though fast.

In my opinion this Lidl is a little bigger than Middletown Lidl. The produce section is flavorful and fully stocked. The overall store is fully stocked and I visited on a Sunday. Clean store.

Very different grocery store. They sell clothes, small appliances, grills, weed wackers, etc. Lots of German candy and cookies. And a nice bakery.

Very good prices on fresh produce. Be sure to install the app, it gives great discounts. Bakery items are no longer prepackaged, I appreciate being able to purchase flexible quantities with the open bakery shelves. But prepackaged items are definitely more sanitary. The only covid change I wish they kept.

The first day was chaotic. The parking lot was full and it was difficult getting anywhere in the store because the aisles weren’t large enough. Hopefully that will all die down once the new car smell wears off. It’s different from Aldi in that you don’t need quarters to get your shopping cart. We saw two carts discarded in the parking lot, one just 30 feet from a return station 🤨There’s a nice bakery at the entrance and organic produce. They were handing out free reusable grocery bags the first day. There were also people bagging your groceries, maybe to help keep the wait down in line. A gentleman I spoke with says they won’t bag all the time.

Its okay very organized grocery store

Use to love the pastries but they stopped doing the custard and raising pastries and now only the tiny raising pastries are available. Why stop something that was selling out fast.

So, Ive been going here since the place opened, and will continue to do so. The staff is friendly, the store I clean, the shelves are full, and the prices are more than reasonable for most things. The only thing keeping it from perfection, is the shortage of cashiers.

I have to say that I was seriously disappointed from the filthy parking lot with trash and weeds out of control.The store itself is dirty any seasonal items from food to decorations not priced. I get there is a shortage of help. I work retail my self and just found this store to be not at all what a Lidl should be.

Took me a bit but I finally shopped here. Feels like a discount store. I do like their selection of vegetables. However I can not do all my shopping here because they do not carry a huge selection of food. This store is on my list as good food stores to shop.

I really like this place great prices lots of fruits, vegatables, and normal groceries.. well laid out.

Theres many varieties of cheeses and other dairy products. The meats/fish and poultry are good prices and theres a nice selection of each. They generally have a selection of festive holiday treats as well as seasonal plants. Check out the bakery department early for a yummy treat.

Great place to shop. A concern though is often items advertised are out of stock on the start date for the sale of items.

We first shopped at Lidl in Barcelona and were happy to find them back home in the U.S. At the Dover Lidl we always end up buying some seasonal plants or bulbs, croissants from their bakery, seafood on sale, the unbelievably low priced eggs and milk and, best of all, the surprise seasonal sale item -- anything from slippers and sox to snacks or gardening tools. All in all a great supermarket for food and sundry.

Fresh meats and produce made orange marmalade chicken thighs and legs with 2 packs of asparagus with fresh garlic and ginger for less than$10 this store is amazing.

Love Lidl we shop there a minimum of once a week but we are usually there more then that.

This a wonderful store and Im so happy there is one closer to me now. Very busy on the weekends. A little lighter on the weekdays. They have great products they sell some brand names but there brand is just as good or even better. I love there Love it brand. Prices are excellent. Staff is awesome really to help for whatever you need. I love that they all different size baskets even ones for the little people in your life. Thank you for putting a Lidl so close to me.

Always a pleasure shopping at Lidl in Dover, Delaware. Great fresh foods available. I regularly stop to purchase some salmon. Also grab a few other items at the same time.

This is the worst managed grocery store in Dover. Their employees are constantly in the aisles stocking the shelves because they wont pay to have it done at night. It makes moving around the store difficult. In addition they never collect the shopping carts and you have to wait to get a cart. These are bad management decisions.

Their bread is very good. But they never have enough to last past early morning. When you run out right away shouldnt they bake more?

Is what it is billed as, Aldis on steroids.I find some items at Lidl I like better and some at Aldis. And some at Superfresh.Complicated? I go to SafeWay for meats and seafood. So theyre all good in their own way. 😁 I like Lidl a Lidl better than Aldis.

I come here to shop and I am so grateful that I don’t have to drive all the way out to Walmart to get some groceries and necessities for my home. I appreciate how they have the mini carts for kids, worker are always working and willing to help me when I have questions. This store is honestly BETTER than Aldi’s in my opinion. There’s more options and it just right up the street from me. No complaints!& they get bonus points for shipment!

Really HATE that I cant contact a specific store! I believe I may have dropped a piece of jewelry at the Dover store yesterday evening, and now I have no way to contact it to see whether anyone might have found it.

Sub par, thinly stocked produce, weird selection of products, and witnessed cashiers not treating customers right. Lanes open no cashier but when you put your items down they yell EBT only in that lane(no signage). First and last visit, Ill spend a bit more at Safeway for better quality.
