This Hannaford has been terrible with stocking its shelves and having common items in stock. This issue has been ongoing since 2018. Thesr issues have occurred well before the pandemic and any supply chain issues. I have stopped going to this store entirely and went to Shaws because I know that Shaws has the merchandise I need.

Second time buying ground beef only to find old dark hamburger covered with the nice pink stuff. Bad way to do business, wont buy anymore.

Needed food,cheese,fruit and cookies platters for 100 people for a celebration of life. Food was excellent, but the service was even better. We were helped through the checkout, the food was brought outside to our cars and we were helped loading it. Everyone was super respectful and more than one told us sorry for your loss . Could not have been better....Thank you Hannaford.

Good protein section and the basics are all there I just came in expecting more bargains like I heard about before coming and instead its just another grocery store with some items lower but some higher. But if you break up the trip get your meats here they have a great selection Ill stand by that everything else is the same really as else were

I went here to do my grocery shopping today specifically because I wanted some cranberry walnut chicken salad. After looking where I remembered looking in the past, there was none to be found. I searched the general area for a while before finding someone who appeared to be stocking the salads area. She told me about how the were closing the salad counter, and if there was any left before it would no longer be available it should be in one of 2 places. She helped me finally find it! I am however, a bit disappointed that they are no longer providing it, but Im glad I know to do my grocery shopping somewhere else, and perhaps figure out how to make the salad myself. Self checkout was working this time.

I love Hannaford just not this one! Lol. I used the restroom and there was nonstop. It was pretty disgusting! And I told a teenager at customer service! No one appeared while I waited to see to go back. I had to tell another person! Employee. The older wo.en that work there are very unfriendly. I e been shopping at Hannaford in ME for many years.

Ive been doing Hannaford To Go with this location for at least four months now and they have been doing a great job. At least 90 to 95% of my order gets fulfilled, and their To Go policies are easy to understand. The service is usually friendly, obviously people are people and not robots, but Im not faulting anyone because I used to work with the public and I know how tough things can be, and especially as we navigate through life as it currently is. Im just happy they have a pick up service and how effortless it is. I drive from Kittery to come here over York because I find their overall system better. They have saved me so much stress. After long reconstruction looking nice, modern, organized and with more products. Im coming here regularly to buy vegetables and fish. Fish counter is amazing - always fresh, local lobster/fish (like salmon from Gulf of Maine) are ready for you. Salad bar, Pharmacy, helpful stuff. Big plus is Hannaford to go = shop online pick up at the store.

Easy to use when trying to figure out whats gluten-free, dairy free, ect as well as whats covered with wic. Hanafords is very convient for any moms.

😵The place honestly always nice and clean but the prices is not for poor people.They have prices of their own but you could drive another 5 minutes and you can buy the same stuff from market basket or Walmart for a very affordable price for poor people that can afford a reasonable prices so so weird 🙄....

You can sure tell it is a Yankee grocery store, with those fancy paper grocery bags at check out. But it is a great store. To be honest it had a great selection of everything they sold. They have a wonderful section of coffee. Very fresh produce. Buy your groceries there, you wont regret it.

Hannaford is my favorite supermarket. They have a wide variety of products and the prices are always reasonable. The meat, fish, and deli counters are very attractive and offer high quality choices. The store is always clean and the staff knowledgeable and friendly.

Hannaford has always been our go to grocery store. They have all the name brands, and Hannaford brands are always a great financially friendly choice. This Hannaford in particular has Hannaford To Go ( which we love) and pretty much everything else you need. I only wish there were more available time slots for Hannaford To Go, but I get it with everyone ordering now a days with the pandemic.

Butcher shop is excellent. Friendly and courteous butcher. Great selection of meats. Store in general is clean. Pharmacy staff helpful.

It’s a lower quality Hanna Ford despite the size. Poor cured meets and cheese, poor meets in general. Produce is surprisingly good and they have a variety of everything. Large alcohol selection.

I went there to get my second Merderma vaccine! Place is much larger then the one near me. Well lit, signs to help you find what you need.

Weekly ad was incorrect. Items did not exist. Talked to 3 people who could not answer my question. No manager around. Finally got someone at checkout to rectify the situation.

Bright & clean. Lots of specialty foods, like organic products & olive bar. One drawback, didnt have rotisserie chickens, which are a great dinner.

The fresh fruits and the veggies are a lil pricey BUT the quality makes up for it. The meat dept have amazing cuts of meat. Not crazy about the fish though. The bakery is tasty and the crew there are super nice.I would definitely recommend for depts above.

Best bakery around. The Best cream is definitely the way to go when ordering anything with frosting. The desserts are amazing! From cakes to pies to flaky pastries.The produce is excellent. The meats and seafood departments are clean and have the freshest of everything. They are right up there with Shaws.I love the curbside shopping that they offer.

I found the prices to be more expensive than where I shop.

Hannaford, if you are making the aisles one way, can you please publish a list of where items are found? That way people can plan better for shopping. Recently I wanted honey. Where is honey? I went to baking supplies and it wasnt there. Then I tried by the jam and jelly. Nope. My husband finally found it in the pet food aisle!

Who ever they have doing their produce ordering is terrible at their job...from what I understand The Central Ave Dover store does the most volume(in produce) in all of NH and ME thats a great problem to have. I dont know why 3 times in the last 2 weeks your case of cut veggies is empty..continuously running out of the same product means you need to up your orders until you stop running out....Im not looking for an apology or anything I just want you to be better at your job

On our way out we chose the express lane. No line. We unloaded our 14 items or less. We were not acknowledged by the cashier, infact she was engrossed in exchanging a friend of hers cash. Her friend had $40 in two twenties and wanted $30 individual $1 bills. She even called over another cashier to see if she had the change to help her friend.Still zero acknowledgment to us. At this point it had been well over 5 minutes, so we reloaded our groceries and went to self check out where there was a line. And after we paid, still the express cashier was still not finished doing her friend a favor of turning her two $20s into $30 one dollar BillsUNACCEPTABLE! where was the front end manager to witness this gross misuse of company time?Id give one star for this experience, but as a collective I know the store shouldnt have their rating at the lowest because of one cashiers blatant lack of professionalism.Date of event 12/20/19Time: 16:15:03

Great employees, clean store, good aisle width, good handicap accessibility. Prices reflect the quality. Excellent spice selection and really good meat department. Pickup is easy and a added value to an already good store.

Never will shop at Hannafords after my experience at various locations including this one as a 3rd party (vendor). Rude receivers, doors locked when they are supposed to be open, unannounced random break times so you get massively delayed in finishing routes before the end of the day: it comes down from corporate. I have none of these issues at any other chain or independently owned grocer. No consideration at all by these awful corporate clowns (and there are other examples). And as for the sushi, my god, how hard is it to figure out that you aren’t soaking the rice long enough!? I had it about 5 times at different locations. And every time, dried out and disgusting. I’ll shop any where going forward for groceries, except Hannafords.

Not organized in the best possible manner, but they had all of the stuff I needed. In the midst of pandemic, the self-checkout lines ran smoothly.

Ive always liked Aldi. Im glad they finally built one in New England. The last time I was able to shop there was when I lived in North Carolina. The prices beat Market Basket and they are environmentally conscious. A double warning if youre going for your first time: bring a quarter. Youll need one to get a carriage. Two: bring your own bags. They do not give bags for your groceries. These two things help allow the prices to be low. The only downside is the selection of products is not as large as a traditional grocery store. But the food quality is great.

Always packed to the brim with so many tourists that you cant move around, let alone shop. Environment is stressful and cramped.

Many of the shelves were empty. I did however find Duncan Hines German Chocolate Cake mix that I had been looking for.

I like the new upgrades to the store. Employees are always friendly and willing to help. Can usually find everything I need at decent prices.

Although a bit on the expensive side, it is convenient, fast and easy to shop.

Nice supermarket, has everything youll need under a single roof. Ran in for a few quick items I could hold, ended up needing a basket for everything I saw and wanted. Fresh fruits, the best danish youll find around here, and nice employees. Every Sunday, its very crowded though, which is sadly the day I have to do all the grocery shopping. I always come here every Sunday, even though I have another supermarket nearer to my house.

Nice market. Dover isnt a huge town, but this market was a good size, produce and meats looked nice and fresh. Had everything we needed for our dinner.

My favorite grocery store in New England. Quality meat and produce, and a very helpful and friendly staff.

Very spacious, nicely organized. I love the new Cafe and take advantage of the stir fry bar a lot! The food at the cafe is available from 11am-7pm only. Staff are very friendly and one lady showed me special carts to hold baby car seats in which I didnt know they had. Super helpful when I bring my 5 month old with me.
