ONLY COMPLAINT,we do not like the new deli set up for case containing salads and other edibles.No variety and what edibles there are in containers not in the trays like it used to be.One can assume it is because of lack of help as in most retail these days and the time it takes to clean the cases etc.Staff is very friendly and helpful....shout out to Chip in seafood,Nancy on the front end, and Sarah @ maint.Oh,one other issue,always out of picallilly....and Texas toast!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣

Good store they just need mote options for things

I visited the pharmacy on a holiday day to get the shingles vaccine. Despite it being a holiday, the staff was attentive - and the courteous service and professionalism were beyond compare. Very impressed.

The one I went to recently is on Durham. This is a smaller version of Dover Store. I like uniformity of stores. When I need groceries Hannaford carries it all. One P.S. I guess when Im able to shop. All the Sarah Lee Highwiaan Hamburg rolls, that I crave are sold out. There is never any in store. I wish, as Ive mentioned it to them about 10 times. ORDER MORE SO OTHERS CAN BUY.

There is a pharmacy, fish counter, deli, many fruits and veggies (better variety than the one on Central Ave in Dover), however I couldnt find their dairy free cheese substitute. Nice, new looking interior. Good overall.

Stopped in after work to pick up a few things before they closed at 10pm. Still one of the few stores that are open later - used to be 12:00 midnight - I always appreciated that they had late evening hours unlike other grocery stores. Hannaford always has several options for almost everything in store including their own ever growing brand thats comparable to name brands. Friendly, helpful employees/cashiers, store well stocked, fresh produce/grocery, clean & not crowded at all. I was in & out having located/purchased what I needed within 20 minutes.

Since moving to Dover, theres no reason to go anywhere else to shop. The employees are top notch. Always willing to help. I also love the To Go service. It saves me time doing the shopping myself.

OK specials, BUT, I saw this weeks so called specials on the flyer, but upon my going to multiple stores NONE of them had the sale item in stock!OK. So, considering that maybe one store was out of it, or sold out, but I tried 5 different stores statewide! Nope. Still nothing. Then, I inquired about getting a rain check, and that was a huge nope too! WTH??? No rain checks given? EVEN SHAWS which is just as bad with prices as Hannaford is with theirs gives rain checks for out of stock items advertised as being on sale!

1st time in the store. It was spacious and clean and everything appeared to be stocked. The frozen seafood section was small and limited on selections.

Only shop here when I have to. I call it RichaFords be cause of the high prices. Market Basket. Has a lot better prices. More selections. Aa well as much better meats.

Nice wide aisles.

Store was clean, relatively well stocked and easy to navigate despite other customers who refuse to follow the directional arrows in the aisle. Check put was pleasant and easy. They also have self check out if you want that.

I go here because its across the street from my house, but i do like their fresh produce & meats. OH! And you can never forget about their sugar cookies are to die for!

A bit pricey

Used curbside pickup, friendly associate, great selection for pick up, but if Im being honest, I prefer Walmarts pick up process.

Its a very compact store but they have a good selection and great employees. Greatful to have this location right down the street so I dont have to go all the way to Central Ave to do my grocery shopping!

I used the Hannaford to go and I love it. Had knee surgery so this was a huge help to me. Great service and wonderful workers.

I really like the pick up service that theyve started. Four times now, and its been perfect every time. My only disappointment is that youre not allowed to tip the fine employees who assist you! So Im tipping them by giving them a five star rating!

Literally the WORST grocery store I have been too in all my 42 years. It still looks like it did right after covid panic happened. Empty selves... Almost no desserts. Its a total joke! I HATE this store and kick myself every time I go here.

When large volume shelf items are relocated, say bread, a sign should be posted in the previous area, showing the new isle # Also, the cashier should always place heavy items (gallon of milk)on the top area of the turntable. This facilitates lifting them into the shopping basket by the customer, if the cashier does not assist with that.

Good quality and great service. I highly recommend finding a store that has hannaford to go. The website is easy to navigate, and makes it easy for those routinely purchased items. This works well for people on a diet or who are trying to stick to a budget because the impulse buy is taken out of the equation. Pickup is fast and easy, especially convenient when you have small children.

Dover Fields is by far my favorite Hannaford! I have 3 Hannafords I pass by while driving to the Dover Fields location but the extra 10 minute drive is worth it! The store is always so clean, well stocked and the employees are warm, kind and very knowledgeable! 5 stars!

I have not found this Hannaford supermarket user friendly. The Shop N Go was stopped when needed most. The staff has acted as if the customers were a nuisance. The produce and refrigerated sections are not as clean as they should be with broken eggs molding on the floor and moldy produce. I shop here only when I have to

The staff here is very friendly. I can find most things I need / want here. The prices are reasonable. This is probably my favorite location for grocery shopping.

Its a convenient location. Easy to grab lunch. I probably wouldnt do a full shop here, unless I had no choice. Its a small store, especially the bakery and meat Dept. That said, pretty standard offerings from most Hannaford locations.

This is the smaller of 2 Hannaford markets in Dover. It is clean, well stocked, easy to get on and out of and has a great meat and fish section. Handicapped accessible with electric carts. Plenty of free parking.

I think this Hannaford is more expensive then others. Usually find what Im looking for + its clean. The few times Ive needed help Ive been able to find someone + that means s lot

Great selection. Bakery is well above average. Deli offer a decent selection. Green produce had been a little disappointing typically last 3 days after purchase, however it is off season. Staff is very freindly.

Very nice grocery store. Excellent selection, very good product, and meats. The organization was a bit odd with the items in the same product range (say blueberries) located in multiple areas discouraging direct comparison. For me, the experience was lessened by a seriously undermanned check out lanes at a time when one would expect a busy store.Compared to the other grocery stores in the Dover-Somersworth area, Hanafords is top shelf.

My favorite grocery store close to home. Almost as good a selection as the one on Central ave and easier to get in and out of. Also the layout of the store just makes more sense to me, with fewer special areas and more integrated stock throughout the store.

We recently moved to this Hannaford location. Its a great place to shop. Food locations make sense, I find products to be of a little better quality. If you want a really nice food basket just ask, they make them up in a short period of time.Also, you can shop on line and pick up your groceries in a convenient parking area next to the store, under cover....I already have a slogan to those that dont shop here .... I you cant find it anywhere else, GO TO HANNIFORD.

Convenient, clean and fresh

I like the fact that at Hannafords, one can go in and use their restrooms and they are very clean. This one is no exception. There is, however, an issue that I have noticed on many occasions. They have a free-standing cabinet that partially blocks the doorway to both restrooms, as well as restroom cleaning cones. The cones are left there no matter if the bathrooms are being cleaned or not. They are always there.To a normal functioning adult, this is no big deal at all to walk around. However, if you are in a wheelchair, or one of the drivable carts that they have available, you would probably find it nearly impossible to maneuver enough without some serious frustration on entering from the hallway, as its not a straight shot in.I felt that it was simply an oversight, so I left a note on the cabinet explaining that they should remove this obstacle so handicap people can access the restrooms easily. A week later, the cabinet and cones were still there.I contacted Hannafords customer service (as first thing in the morning, shelf stockers and cashiers are the only workers you find up front), who replied very quickly and said they would get together with management to alleviate the situation right away. That went for a week, and still the cabinet and cones persisted.I contacted customer service again, two more times, all with a week to alleviate the situation. Still, the cabinet and cones held their ground.I then contacted Dover, New Hampshire code enforcement and asked them to pay a visit. That was a week ago, and still nothing.What, exactly will it take for this management team to realize that they are incapacitating handicap people in wheelchairs to relieve themselves in the restrooms? Are they going to wait until someone soils themselves in the hallway because they didnt make it in time?Seriously Hannaford, take one minute of your time and remove these obstacles. There are people...your customers...that you are denying access to something that I would say in todays world, is a basic human right in the United States.

Staff are very friendly & helpful. I gave 3 stars cause its a pricey store and lacks International or ethnic foods. They didnt have kosher meat/chicken either (I asked). I guess there isnt much demand for international or ethnic foods in this community.

Decent prices.....could do a little better on prepared foods

Decent selection, quality foods, small, but easy to get in and out. Has most of the essentials. Good service, checkouts are usually adequately staffed.

Store is really cramped and doesnt offer quite as much as the other Hannahfords in neighboring towns. The employees are helpful, so nothing wrong with the service, I just feel very cramped every time I shop here

This Hannaford usually has everything I need and between the manned and self-checkout, I can usually get in and out pretty quickly. Generally, the products are stocked well, its very infrequently that they dont have something Im looking for. The staff is friendly and the store is clean.

The cashier staff at this grocery store has to be the slowest on the planet. Its like being on the set of the latest walking dead show. Market Basket cashiers are significantly more motivated and hard-working. Ill only go back if Market Basket goes on strike again- which will likely be never....

This is a really nice small to medium sized grocery store. Has nearly everything you need. If you do need some assistance or you didnt find something, they go out of their way to help you.

This cramped Hannaford is space-challenged, but the friendly employees easily make up the difference. Hannaford prices are consistently higher than they should be, which explains the missing star. Corporate leadership take note: communities definitely notice when you overcharge.
