Man 6 out of ten items they were out seemed liked they did not have anything I needed.

Very clean and well stocked for the most part. Frozen foods was a little wiped out. Prices ok. Used my store card. Store is on the smaller side. So selection is not great. But adequate enough to do a complete shop. Ill be shopping here again.

Maybe advise your deli staff that theres nothing wrong with being anti-meat but spending the entirety of their time slicing your order and loudly telling their coworkers that nobody ever should eat meat, and complaining about truck deliveries happening on their shift is less than professional.

Nice, clean store, especially since the remodel last year. Prices are generally good, with a good selection of store brands. Most recent trip had some stock issues, but alternatives were easily found.

This Food Lion location is very well upkept! Customer service and cashiers ask if you need help while you are shopping or if you have found everything you need. Social distancing and cleaning methods are noticeably utilized. Food Lion always has great sales and has a wonderful rewards program that all shoppers who frequent Food Lion should take advantage of.

I dont normally go to food lion except for certain things i.e. picnics and well thats it. Got one recently and the new remodel is nice. So nice. I have decided that I am making the switch and swearing of Walmart grocery shopping for. Ever. Im am now a proud food lion shopper and I feel free. You should try it.

I visit this foodlion about once a week. Staff are friendly and helpful, lines go pretty quick. Never had a bad experience yet In the past 3 years.

I stopped by this location a couple days ago to grab a few items. The store was clean and well stocked. When I was ready to check out, I was so surprised at the level of customer service. I was greeted promptly and the cashier, I believe her name was Ms Jessica unloaded my shopping cart for me. Another associate, Ms Sue placed my bagged groceries back into my cart and asked if I needed assistance out to my vehicle. I couldnt believe it! Food Lion has really stepped up their customer service. I was also greeted as I came into the store and as I was leaving. Also, while I was shopping, an associate stopped to ask me if I needed help locating an item. I work in customer service myself and I understand all too well of how great customer service is almost nonexistent. Well done Food Lion. I will be a returning customer.

Andrew, the manager, does not allow employees to keep a water bottle on them. If I have a closed bottle, why do I have to go all the way to the back to drink water? Its a basic human necessity! Nope, he doesnt allow it, youll be written up if you dont keep your water way way in the back.

I never really bothered to thoroughly look in to what food lion has to offer. Until I started getting WIC 😂 the selection and labeling for WIC items is AMAZING. The staff is friendly and courteous, and so far its been super clean every time I go in.

My primary goto store. Love the MVP deals. You dont have to buy multiple items in order to get the sale price. So if its 2 for $5 and you buy just one you pay $2.50 for the item. Some stores you have to to buy two to get the deal. Fairly decent selection and never as crowded as the Walmart so easy in and out.

The store is always under stocked. The entire frozen seafood section was cleared, the fresh meat section is never dull and very minimal in selection. No one ever acknowledges you when entering or walking through until you are at the registers. The produce doesnt look fresh. I wish there were another close major grocery store near by.

I came back to change the review because having given them 2 stars because the store was very dirty we went back June 15 and what we saw was just amazing and incredible transformation which can only come because staff had obviously worked so hard . On this day this was one of the cleanest and best stores in Dover. A very big thank you to staff and management at this location . You won us over and this is now our go to store for our weekly shopping . Brilliant everyone and a big thank you . Staff make you feel welcome with smiles during these trying times .

The remodeled Foodlion was well organized and spacious. The prices were ok and variety of items were many. But not enough beef for sale.

So im shopping at foodlion by my place to stock up on food because im about to have surgery and wont be able to go out after its done. One of my fears is going to check out an not having enough cash on me an it just happened! I was a couple dollars over so I tried to put back the butter so I could afford my groceries an before I knew it the cashier NIEMIAH paid for my butter an hands me it back!! I was in shock im not use to people going out of their way for a stranger an he did!! SO I HAD TO GIVE HIM A SHOUT OUT FOT BEING SUCH AN AMAZING HUMAN THANK YOU NIEMIAH FOR MY BUTTER !!

Walk no further than down a few isles looking like a deer in the headlights you are surely greeted with glad tidings from store employees eager to help you. Long lines shortened by vigilant worker opening up more lanes as needed and shifting back to what they were doing effortlessly, the teamwork is outstanding. Seeing this ensures me that detail oriented employees grace this store and its management Im sure is a reflection of their great staff.

This is a pretty consistent supermarket. Typically clean and efficient. Prices slightly higher than some competitors but they have a decent variety of sale items all the time. You can also save some money using their MVP card.

Items are easy to find and I love the weekly sales that are hard to stay off of whether the items are needed at the time or not. Also if the cash registers are a little backed up at times, Ive seen many of times an employee comes to help out of employees with the customers which reduces tension and stress from both the employees and customers. Thumbs up.

This is a really nice store. Friendly staff, I love that they have a really nice spot outside the store for recycling plastic bags, bottles, cans and paper I believe I only needed the plastic bag one. I love that they put the food that needs to be refrigerated in a blue bag and everything else in a white bag thats so nice.

Nice remodel makeover. I just need to reacclimate myself to the all new layout. Im disappointed they didnt include self- checkouts though. Oh well, same nice people and good prices.

Clean and well stocked store. The cashier was one of the nicest folks Ive seen during the covid crisis. She went around the checkstand and helped unload a customers items even though she only had about five items. I wish I had gotten her name. Though, she is definitely one of their best.

With Covid-19 it could be hit or miss with what u what and need.

We dont usually shop at food lion and today was the reason why. We bought chicken thighs and had the trim off almost half of each thigh of so much excess fat, skin, chicken buts. Lost about one third of total weight to garbage.

This store is so convenient and always has the items I need most. I dont mind spending a few pennies more on things. Its well worth it to avoid highway driving in traffic and the crowds at Walmart.

Pretty decent place. Meat seems expensive but if you come in the morning you can usually find manager specials. Pretty decently sized international food selection. Got some good deals today. Store was clean and well stocked. Women at register was gruff.

The price i paid for chicken at $4.52 for 10 pieces of chicken.

Was packed, people stocking up after the State of Emergency was declared.But all the check out lanes were open, staff was stocking shelves, and they were doing their best to handle the rush.

I no longer shop here as much but I happened to come in tonight just to buy a few items because my other store that I frequent at was closed. After I finished gathering my items I went to the check out lane and whomever the woman that rang up my items name was had a disgusting/distasteful attitude. This is the second time I came in this store and a similar situation had happened with an older lady that had worked here but this time the younger lady said absolutely nothing to me as well. Granted I was on the phone but I greeted her while making eye contact. The woman also spoke to customers that were rung up before me and was very energetic but when it came to me she was very rude for not saying a word. I will definitely make sure I keep my local family/friends away from shopping at an area like this and my items will be returned to this store tomorrow. I want absolutely nothing to do with this place.
