I know and have worked for the owner. We had both grew up going to a dance studio to study. As she went on to teach dancing,directing for years as it was such a passion of hers! When her triplets and grandchildren came along,her only daughter was born to be a ballerina,and a very talented one! When I learned she would come to own a dance of attire I was so excited for her. I thought who better wow perfect! Her passion once again. She has always had everything in life in order & Very professional at everything she does. I love how her customers come first & she will work with you till everything feels right! Now her granddaughter and grandson were in dance and also very professional. I have been going to The Dance Collection for many years. My son used to take dance classes and we have always gotten all of our dance attire needs from The Dance Collection. The owner has ALWAYS helped me and made sure we had exactly what we needed, and if it was not in stock she would make sure to order it in a timely manner. She has always been very professional! I would recommend The Dance Collection for any of your dance attire needs, they also have a variety of other items such as Liturgical!! The Dance Collection is a VERY friendly, helpful and understanding business!

Every experience I have had with The Dance Collection, as a customer or as an employee, has been positive. I have been shopping here for about 10 years, and I worked here for about a year and a half. This family owned and operated business provides each customer with superior customer service, spending up to several hours with each individual customer and special ordering when necessary. The owner takes time to know each regular customer and always has ready the items they need. The variety of dance supplies range from pointe shoes for classical ballet to dresses for liturgical dance. This is the only store I have ever been to with such a large variety to meet the needs of all of the customers state-wide. I would recommend this dance retail store to anyone who dances so they can take full advantage of all The Dance Collection has to offer.

Been closed for almost a year, dont waste your time

Very pleasant atmosphere and the owner is very knowledgeable. She got my girls ballet shoes perfect on the first try. And the cost is very comprarable to anyone else. I will be going back!!!

This business owner is very rude, and she doesn’t know the first thing about customer service. Took my child in to inquire about tap shoes at the recommendation of her dance school. The lady didn’t take the time or give me the impression that she has the proper tools to measure a foot to determine what size is needed. She simply looked at my child and grabbed a box of shoes and told me (not her the so called professional), to try them on her. I proceeded to do so and I felt that they were too big. Keep in mind I am no shoe expert nor do I pretend to be but the shoes were definitely too big!!! I then explained to her that the shoe was too big and her reply was that it simply needed to be tightened. This lady is very inpatient and unprofessional so I decided that I did not want to patronize her establishment. She then informs me that I had to pay her $10 for allowing my child to put her foot in the shoe. I was so shocked as I have purchased several pairs of shoes in my life and not once have I’ve been charged to try on shoes. I expressed my concern of the $10 fee and my disagreement with it to which she replied that in her business she can charge whatever she wants. The store had other patrons waiting to be attended and rather than be confrontational and hold everybody else up and proceeded to pay it. I guess she needs to these types of bad business practices in order to make a living. I never take time to write review but felt the need to do so especially after mentioning my experience to the dance school and learning that others have been complaining as well and that they would no longer be recommending this place to any of their students. I hope that this review serves as a warning to others and nobody else will fall victim to this abuse. BUYERS BEWARE OF THIS PLACE & THE BAD BUSINESS PRACTICES!!!!!

I would not recommend shopping here for shoes. She sells outdated pointe shoes and charges full price. I didnt realize something was wrong with the shoes until they came unglued. I had to speak with the distributor directly to get an honest answer. Owner wanted to blame it on me, my daughter, our studio, how much she dances, etc. everything besides take responsibility for the fact she knew she was selling shoes that she shouldnt be selling.....and for full price.
