I went to the Dover, De office to exchange equipment. I got there at 5:30 which is plenty of time since they close at 6. Place was locked and note on door stating closed early be open tomorrow. I have only visited this office maybe 4 times and on 2 occasions they had closed early.Service is fine if you get in but closing early and putting a note on the door is not acceptable for a major corporation. Thats something small mom and pop shops do.

Drive 45 minutes to store that you cant even call to get a upgrade on phone and they dont have the phone you want this is twice I have been there. Doesnt make sense why you cant call them to see if they have before you drive out of your way. They wont let you get upgrade online but if your phone is broken they will send you new one and you send them the broken one

My cable box failed. I was told to go to a local store. They told me they couldnt exchange the cable box. I called and the stated it would be shipped to me express for no charge. 1 week later.. Still now cable box. This company. Is the absolutely worst I have ever dealt with. Just found out they sent a modem via ground.IF I COULD GIVE NEGATIVE STAR I WOULD.

Facility is pretty nice. However, if you are looking for an Xfinity location that closes randomly on a Saturday by 12 pm with no notice and makes you wait > 1 hour on Sunday to pick up a modem/router that is already paid for/activated - then the dover office is for you! Did I forget to mention we were asked to wait outside in the car on a 94+ degree day despite plenty of open indoor seating (even considering COVID era). Only thing salvaging this review was the super friendly technician who served us and apologized for the inefficiency of making us wait for a pick up.

Would give 0 stars if we could. Had an appointment today for 5:45 pm. Drove 30 minutes to get here. Upon arriving, replied to the confirmation text as per advised, stating we arrived. Received a text back stating to proceed to the door. Door was locked. No one inside. Note on door stated they were closing early today at 4 pm. We were not the only ones just today with this issue…while here, five other people showed up and are now highly frustrated as well. And when you call the 800 number, they are reading from a script and are extremely unhelpful and say there is nothing they can do. How this company remains in business is beyond us. Awful location! Awful customer service! Awful company!

They really made me make 2 visits just to return equipment. A process that should of taken one trip and less than 5 minutes has turned into 2 trips and an hour of my time. I’d say I’d switch but xfinity has themselves a little monopoly in my town which is legal for some reason.

Very professional and safe set up to accommodate customers during COVID-19. 6 feet markers and arrows throughout the store. Check in has mask and hand sanitizer for customers. Staff very friendly and helpful

The dover DE store branch is wonderful! But this review is for Xfinitys terrible customer service line. On 2 occasions I set up new services and scheduled appointments for the installation. BOTH times no one showed up, and when I call to see why, Xfinity has Nooo record of my orders. Yes this happened TWICE. Each order took more than 30 min to complete on the phone with a tech. 30 minutes of wasted time!!!! With all the money we pay, xfinity has got to do better.

It was a nice store, very clean and modern looking inside. the staff was nice and the service quick. my only complaint is that the lady helping me kept trying to convince me to stay in the store to transfer my files even though I could do it later at home. I had two small kids and it was approaching lunch time and I kept trying to convey this to her. Also another staff member came up to her with his personal phone and they had a conversation in front of me about this new girl he was sleeping with who he meet off tinder and then proceeded to show the woman helping me more of his tinder matches. I didnt really think this was professional

Staff was very helpful. Got us in and out quickly. Trying out their mobile service. Moved from Verizon to Xfinity mobile. Which is actually on the Verizon network. So far a few hiccups on calls, not sure if its the new phone or the network. Regarding the savings... saving about $100/m on 2 phone lines. Theyre rates are great.

Naomi took my information and asked me to have a seat, while I waited for someone to become free to speak with. I waited about 10 minutes, and Martha helped me out. I was trying to see what I needed to do to get cable to my house and she has submitted the proper information to get that ball rolling. Both employees were extremely helpful and polite. So far, all around excellent experience!

For a company who states they care about customers, especially during pandemic, they never show it. They charge insane amounts for packages that cant run 2 devices, wifi just drops all the darned time, and they never are willing to come out to fix issues. WORST PROVIDER EVER. I hate how theyre the only ones in my neighborhood for the past 2 years

Finally cut the cord! I was returning a bunch of comcast equipment to the comcast store. There was a small 6x6 tent outside the door. The gentleman told me I couldnt go inside, that I had to do all the preliminary stuff outside, then wait in line (outside) till my name was called. Now it had just finished raining, it was 93 degrees with a 102 heat index. I watched as older cord cutters walked up carrying their load of deliverables, some barely making it. The gentleman manning the tent offered to help them - he was nice. I get it, they dont want a bunch of people in the store b/c of the COVID-19 thing, social distancing and all. But there has got to be a better way to get the job done.

I had nothing but bad experience with Comcast, there is a issue with the x1 box. I m on my tenth box and still having the same issue with the box crashing. I tried the get a new box today and the store had close 3 mins early. The doors were locked with 5 employees inside. Comcast has terrible customer service and cable service. Comcast has no problem collecting my money but I’m not getting the service I’m paying for. I will never recommend them to anyone. Comcast will never be as good as Verizon Fios!

One black young lady was not friendly at all and seemed annoyed by the customers who gather around her station (you could just have a seat, Ill call you). She talks abruptly and robotic-like. She definitely needs some training or needs a different job.

Still terrible customer service from Comcast. I will never again use them for anything. Had tech issues with a cable box. Was told by advanced tech support to return box to store. I even asked on the call if the line was ok and was told that it’s not the line and that replacing the box was the answer. Go to store to switch out box only to wait an hour. Even the employees were complaining about having 3 staff go on lunch at the same time. I get home plug in new box and call advanced tech support back. Now I’m having the same problem. The new advanced tech support person is saying it’s the line and a technician will need to come out to fix the issue. So I wasted 1.5 hours of my time and have no cable. And of course they aren’t going to compensate me for that.

OMG best experience ever, when dealing with a Cell phone company. Matt was extremely knowledgeable about the services and tech. Even though they didnt offer the services I was looking for singally, I told him what I wanted and what I wanted to pay. And he gave me no nonsense options and knew the best products to recommend. If you can avoid getting Comcast please do. Scam artist. I’m paying for the “best” they have to offer. Twice have I called because running Apple TV, with 1 lab top and 1 phone is already to much for it to handle. First time was “oh I know you’ve been paying for an upscale router and we gave you the wrong one”. After already paying for a better one for 3 months and they refused to give me refund. Second time, “oh we have you set up for the package just under what your paying for”. They then only refunded us for 2 months worth after paying for 6. This company is constantly scamming their customers.

Wow, what a poorly run business! I ordered cable to be installed on my new construction home and 56 days later, it still is not complete. They sent 5 people to the house over that period of time and the box for the outside of the house is still not there! Ive been calling and visiting the store on multiple occasions to get everything done. We started out 6 weeks and 3 technician visits without any service ! What chaos!!!! These people truly dont care!

Went in there on a Sunday place was staffed with five people very clean new office. Four of us walked in at the same time the manager stopped working with somebody for a few minutes came over and made sure we were all signed in and took a seat.I told them I received a promotion in the mail and didnt want to call wanted to talk to somebody live and within 20 minutes Matt signed me up, had my cable box. Came home within the hour I was hooked up. Very fast, very easy Matt handled himself very professionally very courteous.thank you very muchKp

So two days in a row they have had the note 9 but not been able to sell them because they were inventoried incorrectly! Yesterday the store told us that they would be ready today. Now the store does not have a direct line for us to call to see if they are available, so we had to drive all the way to the store to see and were told they still were not entered correctly and they could not sell them! Now we are being told it may be anywhere from another 24-48 hours before they can sell us the phones! And that was just a guesstimate! This is ridiculous! You are a big company, get someone to come fix the problem! You are loosing out on sales!

Customer service in the Comcast store is great on the phone it is a coin flip. I been trying to get my bill reduced since last Saturday. Every person I call has a different reason why my original agreement doesnt exist or is pending.
