Had Tires from Tire rack shipped here to have them installed. Paid for mounting and balancing and alignment. Left and went to work ... later realized they put a cheap tire on my car and kept my $250 Bridgestones. After agreeing they messed up I brought my car back in I have them changed I was forced to wait 2 hours while other customers came and went. Will never bring a vehicle there again. Service and Trust sucks as well as their people skills.

My favorite car repair place. Reasonable in price. I got their credit card and love it cause on big purchases, you get a 6 month to pay it off with no interest charged. Makes it easier for those on a tight budget like myself. Also, anywhere in the country where there is a Firestone, the history of your car repairs is on their database.

Today was my first time coming there for a scheduled appointment for a oil change. The guy at the counter was not very friendly until he asked for 10 star rating at the end of my visit. My paperwork says everything was good, yet I get home and my windshield wiper blade came off. I’m pretty sure if they actually checked the wiper blades they would have known it was loose. Not impressed!

Beware to all!!! I took my car up to Firestone on Bay Road on Saturday afternoon. The reason for taking the car was the battery indicator came on. Mind you, its Saturday afternoon, I understand theyre busy. I just received my car back today. (Tuesday) /since my car was hot on the inside, I tried to let my window down, My window nor my sunroof works. So beware!! everything was working fine, until their so called techs worked on my car.

Just plain awful! Stopped in on a Sunday to get a flat fixed. Said understaffed, so not today, but come back during the week and we can help you. Stopped by on Monday, wrote me up, then said Wait, youre Fleet? We cant get you in today Rude, no customer skills whatsoever.Go to AAA instead, they are always great. Firestone bites the big stone!

*****BEWARE DO NOT GO HERE***** Took my vehicle here to get checked and was quoted a price over the phone for $184.39. I was even told by the representative over the phone that he was giving me a 10% discount. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle they charged me over $300 and said other fees that were not disclosed to me at all over the phone conversation that I had. These guys are complete rip off. I will be submitting my claim to the BBB and to Firestone Corporate office as well. Please beware and do not do business with this Firestone.

If I could give it 0 I would. The staff members I spoke to over the phone during my initial call sounded cold but I still made an appt. I took my car on 9/5/2021 to have the throttle body sensor replaced, paid $240 and left. Omw home I noticed the service engine light was still on. I returned on Tues. morning and adv the representative of this and was told a diagnostic would need to be done to figure out why my light is still on and thats a little over $100. My ex advised him that the code they supposedly had cleared it still coding that same issue they supposedly had fixed. The rep again stated a diagnostic would need to be done. My ex said for something that you were paid to fix already. So when you changed the parts no one checks the wires? The rep responded no it was only listed as part change. I left feeling frustrated, worked and Im still having the same issue with my car that I PAID them to fix.

These guys rescued me. I went to Jiffy Lube on July 6th and they put a used oil filter and no oil in my car. They also drained out the oil I did have in my car. I was lucky I didnt blow my engine. Firestone took care of everything. No more Jiffy Lube for me.

I set an appointment online that allowed me to select the dropoff time and the requested pick up time. I selected an 830 drop off time with a request for morning pickup. It states in the email that is sent out that someone from the store will reach out if the appointment can not be met. I never received a call. I reached out to the store the day prior to confirm that they received the appointment request they state they did. Today, I drop I go to drop the car off. The gentleman behind the desk confirms my name and appointment. He then asks when I would like the car completed. I requested morning pick up but can flexible and can wait till 2pm. I have to leave for work at 3pm which is why I prefer using Firestone with their ease online scheduling. He then quickly denies me stating. “Look in the parking lot and see all the cars I have to get to today. It’s going to be at least till 5pm when your car can be completed.” This is for an oil change. AN OIL CHANGE. I didn’t tell them to confirm an appointment with me that they cannot uphold. I didn’t tell them to overbook themselves. I asked the gentleman why didn’t their store call me to apologize that they can no longer meet the expectations of the appointment confirmed. He stated “that’s not my job”. Very unprofessional store. I’ve used Firestone stores in VA and NC and never had issues. But this store, I’ve lost a lot of respect today for the values Firestone chooses to say they stand for. I will be looking elsewhere in the area for a company that appreciates their customers.

This place saved me. I was heading home to NY after a trip to Rehoboth when I noticed both of my front tires were very very bad. As in, about to blow out. I googles “tires”, found this Firestone close to where I was, and they had 2 new tires on and an alignment done in 2 hours.

I just wrote a review about admiral tire and auto and mentioned Firestone. I usually bring my truck here for tires and recently needed to replace the tires on my sons car so I called....Ill sum it up as saying it was hard to get anyone to answer the phone and then I thanked the employee for their help(?) Even though they seemed they didnt want to take the time to help me find an affordable set of tires. They had no tires in stock...okay, but maybe not so rude about it. I mean I was planning on spending my money there...again but Im thinking I may look for a different kind of truck tire...and maybe from a different auto store. I know theyre are businesses out there that actually try to compete for my money...thats where Im going.

I made an appointment to drop my truck off on Monday night for an appointment Tuesday morning. I called at 4:30 pm on Tuesday and my truck hadn’t been touched and there was ZERO communication with me on it. I understand being busy and manning being low.....but, tell me that WHEN I make the appointment or call me at some point during the day. I don’t want to hear your excuses when you’ve had my vehicle for 24 hours and you have walk-ins being serviced while my vehicle waits. Isn’t being prioritized the REASON you make an appointment??? Never again will I use this location and I definitely wont be recommending anyone go there.

They changed the oil in my car before I bought it from the dealership. When time came for it to be changed again I opted to do it myself. The plug was put in so tight that I had to go buy a bolt extractor to get it out and replace it, the filter was the complete wrong one not even the same size, and the oil weight was wrong (confirmed by a flag on the pcm at another dealer) Not the first time weve had issues with this place.

First & last visit.I scheduled an appointment for an oil change at 9:00 in the morning and told them I would be back at 1:30 to pick it up. Before I left I called them to see if it was done, they asked for my name and then put me on hold. When I got back on the line they asked me what kind of car I had, which struck me as odd because they should have had it on file. They told me it was being worked on currently. 20 minutes later I get a phone call telling me I needed new wiper blades and an air filter (this was at 1:40pm) I told them it was fine and to please call me when it was done. At 3:30 (they close at 4) they still hadnt called me back. So I called them and they said my car had just now gotten done. So it basically took almost 7 hours for an oil & filter changes. I chose them cause it was convenient for my work schedule, but I will not be back.

I got a flat tire on Sunday afternoon, and this was my first time here. My appointment was for Monday, so I dropped it off Sunday evening. I received a call early Monday informing me that I needed four new tires and a rotation due to the wear on them. I picked up my car Monday evening, and it has been perfect since then. The staff was professional and courteous, which is a bonus. I will definitely use them in the future.

Went in for small service ($ 98.00). They kept my vehicle in the bay for over an hour just to let me know they couldnt do the job because they claimed I needed a much larger service ($ 800.00). I knew better than that.. I went else where.....my vehicle did NOT need all the work that they claimed was needed. They even tried to get me to apply for their credit card.. unbelievable... I later learned they do that to women that come in alone...... really???? This is 2019.

Had a day off last minute, and gave them a call to see if they could replace the tires on my Corvette. Ended up getting all 4 tires replaced, an alignment, and having all of my tpmss replaced. The tech John did a great job, had the car back to me the same day. They werent able to link the tpmss to the car, made sure I knew up front, and refunded me some of the money for the install. Its hard to find a shop to work on these specialty cars. Will definitely be taking my back in the future.

I appreciate that and the honesty. They even took the car out for a test drive at CLOSING TIME rather than booting me out the door like so many others would have done. A+

This is by the far the most irresponsible establishment Ive ever had the misfortune to do business with. They caused damage to the wheel of a tire they were supposed to replace. A simple tire replacement now is going to cost even more to correct than it would have if performed by a competent place of business. When offered proof of the damaged they caused, the person presenting himself as in charge simply said I didnt do it. Well someone did, they only offered to fix it for full price. The customer service was appalling. They were more interested in placing the blame on everyone and everything else than taking responsibility for someones mistake and correcting it. This was my first time using this locations services and Ill never be going back.

I needed a tire on Sunday, June 23, 2019 and went to Firestone on Bay Rd in Dover, DE. They didn’t have my size in stock and had to order them. I was told by Jon, they would be in by Monday, June 24, 2019 by 6 p.m. so I made an appointment for Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at 10 am. I took the day off to have this done. I show up at 945 am and my tires are not there. I wasn’t contacted that they weren’t there. The female up front was very apologetic, but Jon acted like it wasn’t a big deal. Here’s a clue, it’s called Customer Service!!!! I called Furr’s Tire Service and got my tires and they were excellent. Maybe Jon should take some classes on how to treat customers. I am appalled at the way he acted. Firestone on Bay Rd will never get my business again!!! By the way I will tell everyone that needs any type of service, NEVER go to Firestone.

Very friendly and fast service, and I love the way I was given extra things to be aware of without it being shoved down my throat to make me feel like I had to do it right then. I will absolutely do business with them again because of the great service. Getting tire or other auto work done is never really fun, but it was refreshing to see pretty much everyone coming in and getting personal service/explanations, and not feeling as though they were getting ripped off. Not to mention, we were going out of town that day for Memorial Day weekend, and they were able to order my tires, have them delivered, and installed all the same day by 4:30. Amazing. Well done!

First, i would give zero stars if i could. This is not based off just one bad experience with this place. The only reason i took my car back here was because this is where i purchased all my tires that i still have warranties on and i ended up with a flat. So they received my car at 11am, by 3:30 pm Im calling to see when my car will be ready. This is where they start to screw me over. The price i was quoted for a new tire was pretty much full price because i was told the warranties are based on tread and did i want them to put on the tire?....AT 3:30?! And i had to call them! This is where i should have bailed! Smh. But because my car was already there and I HAD IT TOWED THERE mind you, i went ahead and said do it. I did mention that when i called at 3:30 it was to see when my car would be ready right? Well she said ok and hung up without another word. Called back an hour later to again see when my car would be ready and tried to get through for 30 min to find out they closed! Way to run a business! Warranty or not i will never bring my car back here! I dont even have the energy to tell about my experience before this one. Ill just say if you want to get your car back without added problems and expect to get good service for your hard earned money, trust me... this is not the place! And they wonder why people use bootleg mechanics! Its a toss up either way! Smh!

Ive been coming here for 2 years to have my truck serviced and am always pleased with the staff, customer service, knowledge of staff, pricing, work done to my vehicle, and the overall environment. The mechanics always makes recommendations or suggest preventive maintenance on the vehicle that may need to be done without having the salesman attitude and are helpful and patient when answering any questions I have. Any work that cant be done at Firestone, the staff have been honest and up front about it. Despite how busy they are, I am always able to get in quickly and my vehicle is always done on time. Whenever I need work done, I dont consider anywhere else but this Firestone location. Thanks guys!

This place was completely unprofessional. I asked to have 2 tires changed and they change one of the wrong tires. I went back to have their mistake fixed and made an appointment for 3/3/2020 at 4:00pm. Got there at 3:55pm and they had my keys by around 4:10pm. I ask how long and they said about 30-45 minutes. Which is a bit long considering it was their mistake which made me come back. So my brother and I went for a walk and returned at 5:10pm. They hadnt even touched my car yet. This is ridiculous. They messed up my car and put me on the back burner making me wait on a day that I dont have time to wait. I had to leave my car overnight because I have to be at work by a certain time and cant wait any longer.I have no plans on coming back after this. This place is a joke.

My experience here has been great except this past weekend. I scheduled an appointment, dropped off my car the night before and it was not ready until 6 hours after my appointment. I was then told that appointments on line are not true appointments. So be cautious when making an appointment online. Other than that, the service is good. Also due to my later appointment, I could not get all the service I had scheduled.

Firestone team members were very pleasant over the phone and in the store. I brought in my vehicle to have new tires balanced, installed, and aligned. During the process I was advised of any issues, which were front brake pads and tire misalignment. The team quickly fixed those issues and had the vehicle ready in a timely manner. When I picked up the car, it was as clean as it was when I had dropped it off - minus the lubricant used to install the new tires. I will continue to patronize this location; they did a great job.

I took my car there for a break inspection. They gave me a list of things to fix. I only needed back breaks according to their ressearch. They wanted to charge me 900 dollars for rotors and brake pads. Yea right. So i took my car and got the same work for 300 elsewhere. .but the same problem persisted..which means you didnt know what the problem was anyway just wanted to charge me and arm and a leg for nothing so i brung it back to get more tests ran now all of a sudden they cant test my car anymore because i went and got a better price. If they would have diagnosedmy car correctlyin the first place we wouldnt be having this problem.

Feeling totally screwed. Called to confirm that they had my tire size. Gave them tire size and car year, make and model ( by phone). They said that they had my tire and gave me an estimate for two tires. They said they were busy and I would have to wait. I drove about 15 miles one way out of my way to get there because they estimated that two tires would cost about $200 (about $50 less than others). I waited about two hours when they told me that they refuse to put two tires on my car. They said that there is some law or company rule that prohibits them from putting two tires on my car. They insisted repeatedly that I buy four tires. So I waited two hours and did not get the tires I needed because I refused to buy four tires.

I walked in Sunday at 9am for a flat repair and it was admittedly busy. They asked if I didnt mind leaving my car and they would call when ready - no problem. I never got a call, and concerned they were closing soon I called at 415pm. After being on hold for ten minutes I was told my car was next and could come by. I arrived at 445pm and my car was still in the parking lot, unserviced. They finally took my car in at 455pm and finished in ten minutes. It was very frustrating to wait 8 hours for a 10min job, but at least the tire was fixed properly.

Not sure what happened at this location but now every time I go there something goes wrong. This time my car started having a burning smell, so I open the hood and found that my engine cover was missing.... Last time they forgot to tighten my lug nuts. The customer service is great but I wasn’t quite satisfied with the work. I took the car in for a brake and rotor swap around the car. Shortly after there was a constant scratching sound (which is usually normal after such a service) but this one had a burnt smell to it and wouldn’t do away. I returned it and it was fixed. However, the car has now developed a whirling sound every time it picks up speed and apparently the tech can’t tell what it is after the test drive. So now I feel like I have to pay for an inspection to have something checked that was possibly an effect from taking the car in in the first place.

Waited for over 3 hours for a oil change and tire rotation. This was with a scheduled appointment. Horrible service, several other customers complaining in the lobby. I’ve been coming here since 2006 and today has been the worst experience and the last time I will bring my vehicle here. Manager on duty did not handle the pressure well showing poor leadership skills. Sorry to say I’m disappointed in my service.

Complete auto care my ass. I diagnosed a problem with my wifes car, textbook heating core clog and I just needed my heater core flushed, as I do not have the equipment and I know it can be a messy job and decided it would be worth the $100-$150 average cost for someone else to do it.The response I got was we dont flush heater cores. Really, guys? All you need is a 1/2 HP pump and a couple buckets and Im happy to pay the $100/hour rate.Thanks for letting know where to not take my car or recommend to anyone.

My very close friend had a terrible experience here, but wouldnt write a review, so im doing it for him. He went in for a leaking tire, and asked them to do an oil change while he was at it. the next day, he brought it to the dealerdhip for a quick recall fix. they told him that there was no oil on the dipstick. so either firestone didnt do the oil change at all, or they forgot to add oil after they drained it. also, the tire with the slow leak he asked to have repaired... they just rotated it to a different position on the vehicle thinking he would assume another tire just happened to be bad a week later. THESE ARE UNEXCEPTABLE ACTIONS. never come here.

Charged a $53 dollar inspection fee for looking at tires and brakes, even though I was going to have work done there. That was tacked onto the bill. My son works for Firestone and he said inspection fees were $9.99. Had front brakes done here but went to Milford store to do rear brakes. The manager there refunded the $53 dollar inspection fee. The manager in Dover is ripping people off with inspection fees that are not part of Firestone Policy. Will never get my cars to service again.

I took my truck here to put on new tires and wheels that were already mounted and balanced (I purchased elsewhere) and a front end alignment. It took them THREE days to complete it!! After they correctly discovered rusty old parts needed replacement the were ordered/delivered more than once incorrectly. I had to keep calling for updates because nobody call me back as promised. Took my wifes 2011 Mazda 3 in to Firestone for a vehicle inspection because the brakes were making a funny noise and I didnt have time to look at it. Upon taking it in I got a call a few hours later stating everything they thought was wrong with the brakes. Ended up quoting me for near $800 for pads, rotors, alignment, and balancing. Took off the wheels myself only to find the brake pads were still in almost new condition (we dont drive the car a lot), and all that were wrong with the rotors was a tiny bit of surface rust. I feel as though Firestone was just trying to get me to pay for things that werent wrong. Customer service was good but please know what is wrong before you overpay for them to do something that may not need done. Wont be going to firestone anymore.

Typically where I get most services done. When scheduling an appointment ask specific questions about the time your vehicle will be serviced etc. In some cases they will keep your vehicle all day & only work on it briefly before you arrive.

Worst experience in my 10 years coming here scheduled a drop off for simple oil change and 2 tires at 10:30 am they asked if it could be earlier I accommodated them and got it there at 8:30 am.Fast forward to 1 PM wondering what was going on with the car called up for a status spike with a ALICE she told me it was in the bay being worked on and may be about 45 mins more but possibly longer and to wait for call waited till about 2 PM so decided to make my way there worst case they call while Im on my way so I thought get to the location car is outside so me thinking its finished go inside so I can pay just to find out ALICE LIED TO ME ON THE PHONE the car was never even touched. Why would I bring a car in early just so it can sit there and walk in being taken a head of it. No expectations were given that it would be sitting there all day nothing done to it I was expecting a call by maybe 12ish that its done this place has gone down hill.Hasnt been the same since old management retired. Not coming back here again going to find better repair place. Wifes family has been coming there 20+ years word gets around!
