Had gone to two West Marine stores and its either out of stock, online only, or only the top end model is in stock.Both times I stopped here everything I needed was in stock with plenty on the shelf. Pricing is competitive with Amazon or online vendors.Never wasting time anywhere else...go to Dover Marine.

Has everything you could ask for ski equipment, fly tying materials, fishing gear, some hunting stuff, kayak equipment and all you boat needs all it one shop . Also the staff is very helpful friendly and knowledgeable.

I was given a Huc sweatshirt bought here. I loved it but ended up deciding that it was a little too small and wanted to exchange it. When I brought the sweatshirt back I was told I couldnt exchange because I had waited too long (3 months). While I realize this is a long time, I still thought it was ridiculous since I could see the sweatshirt was still being sold at front of store and not even downstairs with clearance items yet. I was told that they wouldnt exchange it because it was off season. But its not like it was snow gear. I know many people that still wear sweatshirts in the summer. I mean this is NH after all. The manager told me that they couldnt make money on exchange. I explained that I wanted to buy other things in addition to the exchange that would cost much more than the $30 sweatshirt and that I would be taking my business to KTP going forward. They basically said that was my choice and were content losing me as a customer. So on my way out I said I would be sharing my experience on facebook. The manager then followed me out to the car enraged that I had threatened him when I told him I would be sharing negative experience. He then asked to see the sweatshirt in question, that he didnt even know which one it was.... In a very loud argumentative way, he told me that I should have emailed the store first to let them know why it had taken me 3 months to bring the item in for exchange. Not sure why this would have made a difference? I would have gladly told him if he had inquired in person. I am guessing at the end he probably realized he was wrong and that is why he felt so threatened by my review. He wanted me to make sure to include that I waited 3 VERY LONG months to make the exchange so I am stressing that point, but still think this was very poor customer service.

Friendly service. Big parts department. They were able to service my Kubota tires and fix my friends snowblower tires.

They were helpful but expensive for parts. Make your own plug wires $20.00 each. I could get premade 4 inch wires for $19.00 nothing to assemble. Its a convenience store for parts.

I went in to get my trim fixed as it was set wrong from factory. The people were very nice, super attentive and answered all my questions even though I did not buy the boat there. I was in and out. They now have a customer for life and will be my new service provider. Thank you!!

Very friendly staff, I just feel welcome

For a small business, all the employees are horrible at communication. It has taken 2 months for anyone to call back about buying a boat because for some reason no one can tell the other that they need to call someone back. Apparently, they are always on the floor with another sale or on another call at all hours of operation every single day since the summer and cant bother to ever call a customer back. Recieved a call back from Cabellas in Hooksett in a day. Save your money and go to Cabellas instead, they will actually answer the phone for you.

Great place for everything boating. We pi led up a new Bass Buggy pontoon boat plus a bunch of boating stuff we needed for the boat.

Small boat dealer were pretty fast about getting the new Sun Tracker to us wish they were a bit more transparent throughout the whole sales thats all. Besides that they delivered close to the timeline as we discussed very straightforward with the deal lending was very poor though. I would definitely recommend someone going back there overall it was a great experience!

Woman in service had attitude. I only gave good rate because the female mechanic there is great she seen I was frustrated with wrong parts and because other woman said I didnt buy one of the parts there because wasnt printed on reciept. Even though it showed they took the money for part from credit card. The female mechanic went back in computer and found it . some reason there computer just didnt print part on reciept. That mechanic found rite parts and fixed my problem in 5 minutes. I thank her for that she was the best!!!

3 days before I was supposed to go on a big snowmobile trip to Canada, I noticed my trailer axle was rotten. Dover Marine had my axle in stock and installed it in 1 day. Great people!

How Dover Marine lost generations of customers.Weve always shopped at Dover Marine, back into the Western Auto days my grandfather, my uncles, my father and me. Weve even bought and had our boats serviced there. Heck I even have my wife get my 2 stroke oil their when she visits her mother even though many places closer sell it. Naturally when some scumbag stole the battery out of my boat, I went straight to Dover Marine to get a replacement.The kindly old man who I think has been there 40+ years greeted me and after some questions, picked out the battery he said I needed. I went to the register paid and left.lets stop here, Dover Marine is a throw back to the 50s, by that I mean they have no scan system, or even computer at the check out. Its a straight 40 year old style register that doesnt even list the name of the items you bought just a price.I get home to find the greatest neighbor in the word standing in my driveway with ... you guessed it a battery. He heard what happened and had a spare almost new battery he wanted to give me. I was very excited thinking he just saved me $126.99. I drive back to Dover Marine today to deal with the worst employee ever!It started out with him saying I can only get store credit because batterys are dated and my warranty started when I bought it? I asked how, he then claimed it got called it after I left when I ask how, again stating clearly NOBODY marked off the numbers of the battery or even touched it from the point I took it out of the rack among all the others ( 3 rows of the same thing ), paid and left. His answer was Thats just how it works what MAGIC?? When I asked how other companies such as Wal-mart, VIP or Auto-zone are able to return a battery he said go there then and refused to let me talk ... waving and loudly repeating BYE BYE BYE I had no choice but to take his store credit. I hope it was worth it, as I will never buy from your store again.FRED YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED!!!
