This company does a great job and takes pride in what they do and it shows. From the customer service as you walk through the door, to the quality in their service. Came here after another car t-boned me to get my car fixed. As soon I walked in I was greeted and helped out instantly with the utmost respect. They walked me through the whole process, got me a rental delivered and helped me deal with the insurance company. The professionalism from John his other employees is what I look for in a company. Especially one fixing my car to look like nothing ever happened. If anyone is looking to get work done to their car, especially body work, then look no further.

Recommend without hesitation. Didnt get any impression that a woman is treated differently (If you are a woman reading this you get it!) The work was professional, reliable, what they said would happen and then some. There were a few dings in the doors and they sanded and painted them without any extra cost. Plus the work they did on the tailgate was expertly done and less than an initial quote and more respectable than another quote I had gotten! Glad I listened to my gut and went with Colony. If you do, I am certain you will not be dissatisfied!

I was in an accident a few days ago and Liberty Mutual told me that I needed to go to their authorized repair shop, but I wanted to go to one in the City I live in. I was unable to get a rental since there is a rental shortage, so I brought my car to Colony. I was greeted at the door by 4 employees and who I later found out was the owner and they were all happy to assist even though I was probably more work than it was worth. I told them my sob story and how I couldnt find a rental and cant drive my car blah blah blah. Well, they were so fast to look at my car and also to provide me with a rental (even though enterprise couldnt get me into one until the 30th)! They took me out to the rental, offered to help me unload all of my work stuff and gave me all kinds of helpful advice about using this rental ans ezpass.. Well, come to find out it was the owner that was helping me!! So far it has been smooth sailing and I will definitely post another review when my transaction is complete!! This owner is a class act!!

John Sr. and John Jr. have always been extremely genuine people. These guys and their crew are very friendly and honest people. I had to tow my 2003 Jeep Wrangler in due to a serious problem with the rear brake manifold. Even in these times of great uncertainty, they got it in and took care of unforeseen problems quickly and professionally. They communicated the issues promptly and succinctly in order to have the Jeep back on the road in a timely manner.

Worked with them after an accident. not only did great repairs faster than I expected, cleaned my car inside and out and even leveled off my tire pressure. Above and beyond service!

They said they would repair my vehicle, but would have no dealings or communication with my insurance company. Whatever the reasoning behind this decision was it only extended the time it will take to get the vehicle fixed, and wasted my time communicating with the insurance company on their behalf. If I had chosen to give them the work I assume I would have had to perform more of their job. Very unsatisfied.

When I brought my vehicle in Todd was extremely helpful and very professional helping me with the local insurance agent and the repair process. Drop off and rental process was seamless. Car took 2-3 days as promised and even cleaned on the inside I’m pretty sure. Easy pick up. I would def recommend them!

Rear tailgate on our 2014 Ram 1500 got smashed in from being backed into a tree. Anybody knows me I was crushed over this. Brought the truck in got the estimate and new tailgate ordered installed and painted in a week. No insurance. Paid out of pocket and I am extremely pleased with the results. Nice work from the receptionist to the estimate to the pickup today.

Got my first deer! Unfortunately it was with my car. Hit the headlight/fender rolled up on the hood breaking the windshield and some how ripped off my door mirror when also destroying the door.Everything was fixed to perfection. John was great to work with. Not even push back to my add on repears the day I dropped it off.I am very picky about my car. To the point no one works on it but me. Other than body repairs that is. Even with my unrealistic standards for repairs I cant find amy flaws with Colonys work. Unfortunately this is the 2nd time Ive had my car there (last time someone hit it while it was parked) both times however the car has come back perfect.Will never take my car any where else (hope not to need any more body repairs).John was great to work with. I went to Colony Auto for an estimate on some recent damage to my vehicle. They took me in the same day (within the hour!) And were very helpful in explaining the damage to my beloved car as well as the expected cost. It is locally owned which is important to me.

Colony did a great job repairing the bumper of my Honda Pilot. The estimate process was quick and painless, they handled everything with my insurance company, they arranged a rental car, and the repair was done exactly when they said it would be done. Colony made a repair as convenient as possible.

They had to replace my roof. They did an excellent job and had my. At back to me when they said they would. They even detailed my car which was so great. IHave a 2011 Nissan Versa. They made it look brand new.

Being in an accident is definitely not an everyday experience. After having been backed into by a dump truck, we called our insurance agent wondering what to do. Top of their list was a recommendation to call Colony. We went there not knowing what to do. Upon our arrival we were greeted following coronavirus protocols. John looked at the car, took our insurance information, enquired about our rental needs and left us comfortable on outside seating. A few minutes later John returned having arranged everything. He knew the detail of our coverage, had been granted repair approval and, “Oh by the way, your rental car will be here in a few minutes.”Except for the actual accident, the whole experience was 5 star.Thank you Colony!

Aunt revived Awful body work. Full of scratches and they painted it the wrong color!! Boss will make every excuse in the book for POOR WORK. Verbally abusive owner. Save your family the headache!!! DO NOT GO HERE. Better body shop found a LIST of things wrong including a wrong bolt holding peices on the car. This poor work is dangerous.

The absolute WORST customer service experience of my life.On October 22, I was involved in an accident doing extensive damage to my car. After speaking with my insurance company and them recommending Colony Auto saying it was one of their authorized repair shops, the car was towed there,As a single mother of two teenage daughters and the not working since March due to Covid. money is tight, taking my car to a shop my insurance would directly pay was a convenience. Colony preformed the work.On November 9 I received a call that the car was ready I arrived at about 4:15 PM. Before I parked the rental car I noticed my fender was not the same color as the rest of my car. I parked and began inspecting my car finding miss fitted molding, multiple scratches and chips in the paint and other issues.I entered Colony and asked to please speak to someone. As I am pointing out the problems he gets irritated and I get the Listen here lady. and he starts speaking to me as if I was a misbehaving child. I was not going to put up with that, refused delivery of my car and left.I then contacted a friend Will who has 25+ years in auto body and detailing. He and I returned to Colony he found many other issues with the work. Will was speaking to the owner of John about the issues.John became very defensive demanding to know who Will was and what right did he have to criticize his shops work. Blaming the poor work on a fired employee. After 30 minutes every excuse in the book and John being disrespectful, even using unprofessional language, the issues remained unresolved, my car was left at Colony.After speaking with other auto body professionals (discovering the fired employee never did body work) and my insurance company I was advised to call Colony and request they not touch my car. As it was after hours I left two voicemails, one with John one with the office manager Jen advising them not to touch my car.November 10th Will stopped by Colony on his way to work to make sure they got the message not to touch my car. The owner became very unprofessional swearing at Will and insulting his personal stature, kicked Will off the property. Will left, parked close by to keep an eye on my car until I was able to get there.As I was calling Colony for the third time Will texted Colony had just drove my car into their shop. I left a third voicemail for John, called back a fourth time and spoke to Jen, Said I know my car is in the shop and that I have eyes on it and they were to stop working on it. Colony continued and call the Police on Will.Driving to Colony I had a conference call with my insurance and the owner of Colony, he was told to stop all work immediately, his response was to continue to insult Will.I spoke to Will and PD, got my car and took it to a different shop. My appraiser, Will and management went over my car with a fine toothed comb. They came up with a grocery list of issues.Colony lost their certification with my insurance company and will have to pay to repair their what they tried to pass off as quality work, full well knowing it was substandard to a dumb woman. This is what gives the auto repair industry a bad reputation.

Last February another driver ran into the front of my near new 2019 Toyota RAV4. My RAV4 was just 5 months old at the time and only had 6,000 miles on the odometer. I brought my car to Colony because of their excellent reputation and reviews.Unfortunately Colony had difficulty with my insurance company who wanted to cut corners on repairs and install some used parts. Fortunately Todd was all over it and fought hard to get the right parts and do the best repairs possible. And throughout the repair process Todd kept me up to date on the status of my car.The repairs were done on time and when I went to pick up my car I was pretty nervous because I fully expected that my car would never be right again. When I saw my car I could not believe at how well it came out. The quality of the repairs were outstanding and I will even say that it came out perfect. Im a pretty fussy person so for me to say that is a testament to how happy I was with the car and the entire process.

I recently brought my truck in to Colony Auto for acorn dents on the roof and hood of the truck; probably over 70 dents from the wind storm. The staff was so helpful and courteous. I was told by the owner that every dent would be taken out and no new paint would be needed. I just got the truck back today. I can not believe it. Every dent is gone. The hood and roof look new. These people really know how to repair auto body damage. I highly recommend them! Thank you!

I just got my 2015 Chevy 2500 Hd back from Colony auto and Once again, they have gone above and beyond. My truck looks better then when I bought it. It looks brand new. They are very particular with putting the correct parts with no blemishes on my vehicle they painted my receiver hitch which was not damaged but they wanted it to match the newness of how the truck looked again. I will always use colony and will always recommend colony to anyone I know that needs any type of bodywork done to their vehicle. Thank you very much colony. You definitely put your customers first.

When my car door got fixed it was raining and they pulled my car right up to the shop so I could get in without getting wet—how Awesome! I don’t know anything about fixing cars or insurance claims but the guys at Colony helped me so much it was a stress free process.

Colony Auto Co. & Body Works in Dover, NH was the bright spot in my four-month ordeal with trying to get my car fixed before my insurance company finally totaled it. John was helpful, responsive, and professional. The communication was good, and if Im ever in a position of needing auto body repair work again, I would return. Highly recommended!

Very authentic and honest I had an emergency and they helped me out free of charge. Auto Body repair is never cheap they will work with you and make sure that youre only getting exactly what you need or want.

I needed body work done to the front of my Honda Crv in the middle of winter. Every auto body place around town was booking 2 months out- that being said I got 3 estimates done, and not only did Colony come in at the lowest price, but they got one of the workers to modify my front end for me so that it was semi put back together while I had to wait for my appointment 2 months later. It only took them about 10 minutes and they didnt charge me for it! Then when the appointment came around I actually dropped it off Wednesday night instead of Monday- knowing it would change when I could pick the car up of course. But to my surprise Friday night I got the call it was all done! One of the workers stayed late to get it finished so I could have it before the holiday weekend. Overall amazing service, my car looks great, and theyre incredible nice & helpful. Will absolutely use them again should the occasion arise! Thank you!

Someone backed into the side of my 1990 Miata. The entire door had to be replaced but nobody made those parts anymore. Colony Auto found a door, replaced it and painted the entire side so everything matched. It looked amazing. When I got in to drive off, I noticed that they had cleaned and buffed up the interior - its never been that clean! Nice touch. I was pleased enough to give them a review.

I had to reschedule my appointment a few times due to unforseeable circumstances and they were very nice and accommodating! But after checking my claim I noticed they were done with my car on the first day (Tuesday) and did not inform me until Thursday, which I was very confused about especially since they knew I was paying for a rental during these days. Also, the claim they sent my insurance was over $60 more than what was shown to me in the shop.

Very friendly and helpful. Dealt well with insurance company and did a very fine repair on the vehicle.

I recently moved back to the east coast after spending a long time in California. The last car I bought was a wonderful car to drive...in California. After four years of skidding and sliding and praying whenever I had to drive in the snow, this year I decided to trade it in for an AWD Subaru Impreza. Naturally, before so much as one flake of snow falls, I am rear-ended in an accident. I had no idea where to bring the car. Fortunately for me, the closest body shop approved by the insurance company is Colony Auto. I brought the car in and Charlie and everyone else at Colony were incredibly helpful. They made sure that I was treated fairly when it appeared that the insurance companys estimate was incorrect and not fair to me. They did everything they could do to make it right. I had made a reservation with the rental company, they called the rental company and asked them to pick me up. How satisfied was I with their work? It was unbelievable. The car truly looked as if nothing had ever happened. Not only was all the damage repaired, but the car was cleaner than I ever remembered it being right down to the smell of the interior! Should I ever need any body work done or if someone I know does, I will recommend Colony Auto in a heartbeat! Yes, I know. Its just a Subaru Impreza. But you know what? Its MY SUBARU! The people at Colony know that and that is how they will treat your car.

I dropped my car off on a Monday and had it back the following Friday just like they said. My 2014 Camry looked showroom new again.
