Great location for computers, gaming, accessories and various electronics and devices. I went there looking for thermal paste. The employee was very helpful and the price was good. Store is clean and organized. Some of the prices for games and consoles are higher than Walmart or online. This Bestbuy has a nice wide open parking lot which is good during Christmas time.

Had to get a replacement cell phone and the experience was great. Demetrius the sales rep was very helpful and knowledgeable about what phone I needed and the procedures on making it work properly for me. I will do all of my electronic purchasing from best buy in the future.

Ordered an amiibo online for pickup since Amazon was actually more expensive and no where else had it. Drove 20 min to get they’re just for me to walk in and them tell me it was sold out and they can ship it to me. I wasn’t mad at the workers but I wish Best Buy did a better job keeping their app up to date. Wasted my time and gas.

Its Best Buy, they will always have some of the best deals. But Im not reviewing the company here, rather this store specifically. What can I say, some employees are helpful and some are not. Some have great attitudes and some act like they dont want to be there. The biggest issue I have? It closes way too early, I can understand closing at 7pm in the winter but closing that early in the spring and summer when the weather so nice out and theres still sunlight is just odd. They dont spare you another second either, they close the door in your face at 7pm on the dot.During my last visit I made it to the door just as an employee was closing the gates. I needed to pickup a small but costly item and people were still shopping in the store. Thankfully he heard my plea and let me in but the one on the register took issue with that and it reflected in his attitude. In all it took about 1 min to pickup the item.Note to leadership or whoever makes the calls for operating hours: open at least until 8pm and you will make a whole lot more money. Most of the time I end up buying elsewhere simply because their doors are shut. Im sure Im not the only one in that boat.

Came in for a back up camera, walked around trying to find it myself. All employees were standing in groups talking and none were willing to help. Was greeted by the manager, he called to his employees to help and all I received from them was eye rolls and arguing over whos turn it was to do their job. They really need to be retrained at the dover location

Went in to look at home security cameras. I was going to buy multiple cameras but had some questions. Employees were to busy talking to each other to see me standing there with others needing help. Oddly enough I bought a camera at Walmart. I worked 50 years - since I was 16 and retired. I dont want to hear theyre no workers. I did my part, stop paying people not to work and let them take some pride in doing a good job. 🇺🇲

Great stop, ask the way around the board! Was actually surprising to have a list of things to do at that you wouldnt expect to find. A enjoyed the fact that they had the z fold phone to touch and view. Especially since best buy just lowered it to 2,000 in comparison to what it was at other places.The young lady who saw me lost in the tablet section assisted me perfectly in finding what it was I needed for my travels

Intended to buy a laptop. Found a computer that satisfied my needs and was at a good price. Upon asking an associate was informed that the computer was out of stock in the store as well as online. Why advertise a product on the floor that isnt available? This is a foreign concept to me and just another reason in person stores are becoming obsolete. Perhaps management is to blame?

Negative 10!!! Geek Squad which should be called the Lazy Squad. Pretend they got disconnected while you are talking to them on the phone, especially if you call within 30 minutes of closing time. Keep you on hold when you call to speak to a customer service agent hoping you will hang up. Dont ever go here, dont ever buy anything from here. BUYER BEWARE!!!! Check out the hold time to speak to a supervisor!! It ended up being over 50 minutes. Store personnel do not answer the phone at all. Lazy, dumb employees.

Our microwave broke and we ordered a new one online along with a trim kit. It turned out the new microwave fit perfectly in the old trim kit so I attempted to return the microwave trim kit to this store. We live in Maryland and the Dover store is the closest one to us but still its an hour drive from our home. The woman at the customer service desk would not take the microwave trim kit back even though the policy is that any online purchase can be returned to any store. So I had to drive back home and go online for a live chat. I quickly and easily received a return authorization for UPS. But I wasted 2 hours driving there and back. I was trying to save a hassle but instead got the run around.

Its one of the bigger best buys on delmarva. They at the time of my visit were unable to take calls at the store level. We made the trip to get a fairly big ticket item which was not in the case. I had to hunt down an associate to find our if they actually had it and was rushed through the checkout process instead of really being able to add much on. Guy could have gotten a banger with his attachments if he had slowed down a bit and if the item had been in its proper display.

While I Was a fan of Best buy, Im giving the company One star, Not this particular location, but the company. Best Buy for whatever reason has decided that no customer can actually contact a local store. Im not sure of their reasoning, but this is the stupidest policy ever. The National number you are now directed to cannot even call into a store directly. Just the Stupidest, and most inconvenient decision made by idiots in suits, sitting in some corporate office somewhere.

It is very nice going into Best Buy and be able to just look around at the astounding choices of electronics, without being hounding by a sales person. They greet you, ask if they can help you find something. If yes, they direct you, if no, they kindly say well Ill be here if you need anything. And... They leave you in peace to explore on your own. Yes, I got to ask my questions and come away with a great purchase without the sales pitch. How refreshing is that?!

Georgan on the Geek Squad side helped me to transfer info from my old phone to my new one, which I bought from BB. He may be one of the most patient men I have ever met. He took his time and listened to my questions and did an excellent job. He was personable and an asset to BB. There are so many great employees at this location. Chase even scheduled me in after we realized I had a 5pm app but not w/ GS I had it with the sales side. Chase ty so much for that! The staff was very helpful but not too intrusive (there must be a balance). An associate noticed I was looking at televisions and pointed out a really good deal on a Sony but no pressure was felt at all. My g/f ended up buying an ipad and a pen for it and had a really positive experience with the associates as well. Good experience and will return.

Best Buy has been degrading in quality of service and available inventory for years. This store in Dover is a case study of lack of customer service. When I visited a few days ago, there were more employees in the store than customers, all grouped together in deep conversations about their personal relationships and weekend plans. I wanted to purchase a laptop and after chasing the employees down for help and having to break up the personal conversations to get some assistance, I learn there were none in stock. I offered to purchase the display model and was told to wait until they discussed it with a manager. I was told that the floor model could not be sold, although I did not see the sales person speak with anyone.Too bad - BB was always my favorite store. This location in Dover simply sucks!

It was a mistake trying to buy anything from here. There’s been multiple times I’ve come in and I’ve been completely ignored. Not once but at least 3 times. I honestly don’t like complaining on people but come on man, I spent quite a bit of money just coming in here and this is just unprofessional. I had to drive to best buys twice to check the status of work I was getting done. There phone system is horrible. Tried three days straight to just reach anyone who would answer a phone. No luck. While complaining to the store manager, another customer heard our conversation and stated they tried three days to reach someone, anyone. No luck. This doesnt seem to be an issue with anyone,.. manager included.

Worst experience here. Went in today to buy a tv waited about 20 mins to get help because no one even acknowledged us to even help so we had to ask a sales associate who was already helping someone to get someone to help us and that took about 20 minutes even though there was a sales associate on the floor that wasn’t helping a customer but he kept walking past us to the back basically ignoring us. This Best Buy is definitely lacking customer service. I would not return.

Store is kind of old and run down, and the staff is so so at helping you. A lot of the staff isnt knowledgeable about the products being sold and a quick internet search can more accurately answer your questions. And the service is incredibly slow.

Placed an online order. Part of the order was ready for curbside pickup the same day. Checked in on the app when I arrived and within a few minutes a consultant came out to advise me that they were preparing my order to bring it out to my car. After a few minutes, they brought my order out and packed the items into my car. Thank you for an awesome service.

I probably spend too much money in here and I have enjoyed shopping at Best Buy for many years. Now with COVID, shopping here is a real pain in the tuches. Today was my first visit here since the COVID and its like trying to get into Studio 54 in the late 1970s. There is a guy behind a rope at the entrance and you must pass inspection before entering. He was nice enough, but stuff like this really makes a person wonder what the world is coming to.

Used to be the best around,been shopping there for 15 years. Now the worst, walmart has better checkout & customer service.Spent a whole lot of money there over that time & used to be worth it. Been there 3 times recently. Once before Christmas & twice after the New Year. Will not spend another cent there. With all the stores fading away because of on line shopping ( because of price, ease & delivery ). 1 checkout line for returns & checkout. Multiple people left items on counter & left. Brilliant service from the you d man who came outside the stor as I was asked to pull up by the pavement and he simply looked at my ID and dropped it thought the rear window which open. My experience here recently had been way better than in the past. I buy solid state drive devices sold here for clients and the most recent transaction was very good as well. The solid state drives are now locked up for security which is a minor inconvenience to deter hands that cant be kept to themselves. I worked with a young man with a great attitude and knew the geeky stuff I knew. It was great. Ill be back to buy more Im sure.

Darren and Corrine in-store salvaged my view of Best Buy. After working for 24 hours with corporate 1800 number to understand why my refrigerator never arrived the night before- Darren found it and did his best to help solve the problem. It doesn’t make up for it never being picked up by the delivery people. It doesn’t make up for the hours taken to empty cabinets, fridge and freezer, moving furniture to prepare for the fridge deliver (twice). But because of his dedication to problem solving- I’ll buy again- IN THE STORE.

Took an iPhone in for battery replacement appointment at 5:40. Took thirty minutes to check me in. Was told at 6:15 the repair would take ‘20 minutes’. Nope. I had to wait 30 minutes past closing to get my phone back. Don’t bother. Go to a real Apple Store. This place is run by clowns.
