I hate leaving bad reviews, we dropped off plans for a materials list over a month ago. Every excuse in the book, call to get updates no return calls. Stop by talk to managers wait a few days and nothing! Called today placed on hold over 25 minutes to no avail! So very frustrating!

Do not waster your time here. We ordered materials on Thursday of last week. We went to pick up and have been waiting over 3 hours to be loaded. The are very un professional. After talking to other people, they say it is like this all the time at this location. Clearly they need better management.

Great location! Dosent take them long to learn who you are and are very helpful and friendly. They even ordered a pallet of lumber for us that is not typically kept in stock to keep our business. Theyre the only place I use for lumber now.

Called TWICE to get pricing for 60 x 80 6-panel steel french doors on 2x6 framing. First time, took information but no callback. Second time, I mentioned that someone had taken my information and not called back with a price..............and HE didnt call back.If you buy from them, do it in person. But there are many MANY other options in metro Atlanta (Builders Surplus, Home Center Outlet, HD, Lowes, etc.)

Went into the Douglasville Georgia store. Asking for a certain style of wood. 2 young man at the counter did not know.. So we go and ask the assistant manager He says it could be plywood and boards on top of it I said no they are just boards. He had no other comments never looked at me one time. So I decided if he did not care I didnt care to buy from Him. Because of attitude or I guess just maybe not caring about your customers needs he lost a pretty good size sale. With that being said wont go there again and will not recommend again.

This is not the place to post your public opinions about this companys beliefs. If you rate them, do it regarding their efficiency as a company. Rating them one star because they promote immigration is petty. They are a company thats standing up for what they believe in and what that sounds like to me a strong company who is sure of themselves and their work.

I enjoy making furniture in my spare time, and have always enjoyed getting my lumber from here. As a Veteran, I truly respect and appreciate the fact that this company shows such unwavering commitment to the U.S. Military, and the military discount doesnt hurt either. The staff is always very friendly, and above all, knowledgeable, and they are always willing to assist me in any way possible. Their prices are very competitive, and the quality of the materials that they carry is far superior to what one might typically find in a local big box store. I was extremely dismayed to find that apparently, there are people who for whatever reason, are unfamiliar with what a service review platform is intended for. This space is designed for consumers to review the SERVICES, PRODUCTS and CUSTOMER SERVICE of companies...NOT to throw grandstand tantrums because you were miffed by a commercial! You do a disservice to yourselves, as well as to the consumer public as a whole by posting these bogus, unrelated reviews to this forum, so please, keep your reviews relevant. Kudos to 86 lumber for a job ALWAYS very well-done!

Have always been a efficient and fair price company

Called the day before and said they was instock of 20ft 2x12s. Got there the next morning and john sold us the boards and we go around back to get them abs they were out of stock. It took 2 hours of our time and alot of driving to find out this company isnt worth it. They have low quality wood also that is all crooked. John Couldnt stop laughing and smiling at us after he screwed us. I will never return or recommend this company to anyone. Your better off going to home depot
