I visited this store on a Saturday. I was greeted promptly by friendly greetings. I walked to a woman, I believe her name was Emily. She was so helpful, patient and kind. Also, my two frames took twenty minutes. I was ecstatic. Definitely my preferred destination for buying some eyeglass frames.

Everyone at the Eyemart Express in Dothan, Al was awesome. They were so very helpful. I went in bybmyself and Tammy helped me pick out the perfect frames. I got 2 pair of glasses and they were done in less than an hour. This is definitely my new place for glasses.

Took my two daughters for the Glasses for Classes sale. Emily was super knowledgeable, helpful and fun to work with. To top it off, two pairs of glasses were ready in 16 minutes and the second set of two pairs were ready in 11 minutes after that!! Left there feeling like wed won the lottery!

The assistants were patient, and very pleasant to work with. I’m from out of town, after consulting with their specialist, I purchased two pair of progressives that were on sale. They said the glasses would be ready in an hour, so I went to Applebees for a beer; 38 minutes later I received a text that the glasses were ready.I previously invested almost $1k in two other pairs as my first progressives. One made at a Florida eye exam office (expensive!) and another in Jan 2021 from *Zenni. I could never get use to/wear either.After a checkup from my existing ophthalmologist (denny vision dr. McCully), I dashed over and had my glasses made. Finally, after a 2-year quest I landed a quality set of progressives. In a few weeks I’ll have a re-exam with my first-time progressives, let the doc make any needed adjustments, then have a permanent (high-end) set of freeform progressives made.The consultants and the lab technicians did a wonderful, expedient job. (and my optician - in another review). And for $130 (sale price), for two pair of progressives made in less than an hour, you can’t go wrong.Highly recommended.*IMPORTANT: If you about to start or currently wear progressives, from experience, DO NOT order them online; Go to a brick and mortar lab, as I cannot stress this enough.

This is a great place to get glasses. I had prescription glasses within 60 minutes of arriving. They are very knowledgeable staff. They were able to take my VSP Insurance.

I had a wonderful experience here! I got 2 pairs of glasses for 100.00, at a competitor it cost me triple. Will definitely be using them again! Due to health problems my vision is constantly changing so its nice to know i wont have to save for a couple years in order to afford to see properly!

I just have to say I’ve only been wearing glasses for about 10 years and over the past five years I have been fighting to find a company that not only takes my insurance but takes the time to help me with my eyesight issues rather than trying to sell me something that’s going to just get me out the door and not honor their warranty when they break. These ladies know exactly what they’re doing, they’re very well trained, very patient and professional. There’s also a huge corporation behind them with great products and great prices rather than the small mom and pops who skyrocket the price of frames. Can’t say enough good things! They actually have a website that is super helpful as well! I spent two hours maybe 2 1/2 hours the first day then went back and they spent another two hours with me and had my glasses ready and hour and a half later on site

The entire process was easy, my wife ended up purchasing 4 pairs! Ashli gave great customer service. She was friendly and professional. We will be back.

Went to Eyemart Express for the first time yesterday. They were very helpful and friendly, and I was thrilled to get my Rx trifocal sunglasses in 2 hours!And they even adjusted my Rx glasses (not bought there) after I commented the back of my ears were sore from them due to wearing a mask so much yesterday! I didnt even ask...I was trying on my sunglasses and she took my others to correct them and I didnt even realize it!!Thats customer service!Today I went back for a slight fitting adjustment on my sunglasses (my right eye lashes were hitting the lens). They were so sweet and made sure I was 100% pleased with the adjustments before I left.Great service. Reasonable prices (and military discount!). I will be back!

Very satisfied!! Love my new glasses!! Bought the buy a pair, get a pair free. Then with my coupon and medical discount, I was able to afford a third pair, prescription sunglasses! Valerie was awesome!! She was so sweet, friendly and helpful and helped me pick out frames that flatter me the most. Not to mention that she was super patient, cause I am picky about frames. Dr. MacArthur and his staff are very pleasant. Hardly no waiting time. While my daughter and I waited on our eye exam. Ashely allowed us to pick out and try new glass frames. She was so patient with us trying on the perfect pair. This was our first visit and we LOVED IT! Compared to other vision places NO WAIT....We are making dr. MacArthur our NEW eye doctor. I just hung up within the last 5 minutes. I was looking into eye exams for military dependants. The lady informed me that they didnt except that insurance. I inquired about another insurance option. I was told they didnt accept that insurance either, within the same breath the lady began to upsell me on eye glasses. That was rude, inappropriate and just off. Besides, I need eye exams. Priorities maam. Priorities. First things first. My concern is getting these childrens eyes examined, not how cheap your frames are.

They were fantastic. The eye exam was thorough and the doctor and eye tech knowledgeable. The glasses selection was large and varied. The price was great and the staff on the glasses side helpful. The business also, hands down, is the best of seen I’ve seen with handling masks and Covid with grace, professionalism, and thoroughness. They obviously take customer and employee care seriously.

We love Dr. MacArthur. He’s very thorough and friendly. The staff is great and we love Ms. Valerie. My glasses were ready in 10 minutes so their tech staff is also top notch. The one year warranty for anything is worth the money! Very happy and will be going back for sunglasses in the near future.

My entire experience was awesome. The wait time without an appointment was so reasonable because it gave me time to choose my frames. The General Manager, Kay, is very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and welcoming. She will guide you through the process to make sure if you have any questions, she can get you answers. She wants to make sure you are pleased with your frames and will tell you what looks good and fits your face. She is funny and makes you feel like a valued customer. I took my son to get his glasses here also. I love Dr. McCarthur!! He is the best ever! He always treats me like Im his best customer and Im sure others feel the same. I followed him from the mall and couldnt be happier. You can gets your glasses the same day, depending of what you want, but I got mine in a week because I wanted top of the line and needed bifocals. Try them and you will agree!

Excellent customer service! I bought my first pair if prescription glasses yesterday. I bought the RayBan 5154 blue gray with photo chromatic and no line trifocals. After only 12 hours of use,I love them.! Thanks to all the very nice ladies that assisted me. Its obvious their well trained and seem to genuinely enjoy the work.

Had heard good things but called and also stopped to make appt. They acted put out and told me that optometrist would not be in til following week and that I needed to call his phone to make appt. Two years has passed since my last visit to Eye Mart Express here in Dothan. Had an eye exam from Dr. McArthur. Same thorough eye exam as two years ago. Another great prescription. Ashli again was the person who helped me with my choices. Great service Great results. Took advantage of the Two Pairs of Progressive lens glasses for $77.92. Was able to pick from a nice selection of frames. I was also able to have one pair of the glasses fitted with my choice in colors of tinted lenses (sunglass) so now I have glasses for outdoors and indoors. Both pairs of glasses were ready in less then 1 hour. Very pleased with everything. Called last minute to see if they had a spot for an eye appointment and they worked me in. The doctor was wonderful. Very thorough and friendly. One of the ladies helped me pick out frames that I liked and went through different color choices. Kathy checked me out. She helped me decide what type of coating I wanted on my lenses and she was very friendly as well. It was great being able to get an eye exam and walk out with glasses the same day. I will definitely visit again!

The team at Eyemart was professional and knowledgeable about their products and up to date on current products on the market industry wide. We walked in and were greeted with smiling faces ready to help us find our perfect eyewear. We couldn’t have asked for better service. Our eyewear had to be special order due to Rx, but it only took about a week for them to come in and they were right the first time ( unlike another company that won’t be mentioned). We really appreciate the time and care Eyemart takes to make sure their customers are getting a quality product and are satisfied with the results.

Isnt pushy on sales or what she prefers, but goes off of what looks best on you and also what you feel best in. Shes professional, courteous, confident, and has such a charming personality! She truly made my experience *amazing*. She deserves a raise for sure...(*Side note to the company though, when one sales person is helping me, I dont need two others jumping and one whispering for me to try on another pair. Yall need to make sure your employees know that. Especially when the person trying to jump in on a sale (while Im in perfectly capable hands no less) reeks of cigarettes. Yall almost lost my business because of that, if it wasnt for Valerie being so awesome that is.*)

I was very impressed with the staff and doctor at eyemart express. I have been wearing glasses and contacts for 20 years and I have been to so many eye doctors. I had an emergency and Walmart was not open due to covid and everywhere else I called could not see me until a month later. I am legally blind and could not wait. I was put on a call back to be seen here the next day but they managed to squeeze me in the same day and I got both pair of my glasses the same day. I am amazed and will be returning regularly. My daughter and I went today for exams and glasses. They were amazing from the time we walked in the door. Extremely helpful while my 9 yr old daughter picked her frames and the Dr was amazing with her. Valerie helped her fit the frames and made sure we were both comfortable and happy when we left. The Staff were very helpful in making my decision which glasses look the best on me. Theyre awesome and Dr. McArthur is a awesome Doctor. And he takes his time to make sure that you can see the best way you can.

Had terrible customer service today. I went in and asked to just look at their glasses really quick because it was about 20 minutes before they closed. I told them I knew they were closing soon and just wanted to browse a minute and I would leave before they closed. The lady came over said that was fine and I told her specifically what I was looking for. I had showed her some pictures of glasses I found earlier today and she stated oh those are just ugly. She showed me everything BUT what I asked for. I told her I wanted to look at the semi rimless and she showed me the full rimless section, I told her I didnt want a lot of color and she kept showing me bright red, or dark colors, I told her I didnt like the wingtip style at the top of the glasses and and that I wanted something different. She kept trying to show me the mens glasses and I dont want mens glasses. It was a waste of time for me to go in the store. 10 minutes until closing they go and lock the door and the associates are talking loudly and one of them stated he couldnt do anything until I was finished. He sure could go and lock the door before closing through right??? I understand not wanting to spend a long time with a customer in the store especially when it is getting close to closing time but my time is very important to me and it was such a waste. I only spent 10 mins in the store to keep telling the lady that thats not what I was looking for and for them to be so rude about me even being in there. I left 5 minutes before closing and one of the associates told me I could come back tomorrow. NOPE. I completely understand getting close to closing but handling the situation the way they did and before they even closed is unacceptable. I will never be a return customer by the way I was treated today. Keep in mind this all happened in a matter of 15 minutes total. I was not a valued customer and I was not listened to. I would not recommend going to Eyemart Express.

He noticed a problem and referred me to a specialist getting me an appointment the very next day the Staff at eye mart were wonderful and patient letting me take all the time I needed to pick out the glasses that best suited for me. I love my new glasses however I think their two for is a draw to get you in the store. Also the $28.75 tax line isnt possible.

I have a close family member that was terminated while going through cancer treatment. She was assured when she started treatment that she would not loose her job, and that she was family. I was extremely impressed both by dr. McArthur and by all the front staff. They could not have been more helpful and were all extremely knowledgeable and understood some special needs I had 4 glasses. I will definitely go back. Their prices are extremely competitive. My glasses were done in less than an hour and they seem perfect so Im one happy customer.

THE BEST STAFF EVER! I am very nearsighted, wear glasses always, and have done so since 1965. In all those years, I cannot remember ever getting a new pair of glasses that I didnt have to take back to the store for frame adjustments. Never, that is, until now. The associate had me try on my new glasses, looked me over, took them back from me, and went off to make adjustments. She didnt ask for my input until I put them on again, and I was (and remain) amazed, delighted and ever so thankful. Im writing this review a couple of weeks after I picked up my new glasses, and they still fit perfectly, and feel great.

Service was excellent, Ashli really took good care of me. My only complaint is that I was told I could get two pair of progressive lens glasses for around $175 including eye exam. It ended up costing me around $400. Very misleading.

But, when I returned she wasn’t there and the lady I spoke to was fabulous I felt comfortable and they spoke to me not me having to ask a million questions like with the First Lady but they was great my glasses are great I will return for more glasses and get my family to go to as well.

My experience was wonderful,everyone was so patient with my choosing a frame, no rushing me and no lonh breathing. I recommend Eyemart Express to everyone that need classes.

I called this location to ask about information, prices and so forth, after attempting to call several times I finally got a hold of a lady that seemed to be as lost as I would be if I were flying an air plane so I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and stop by....big mistake! When I arrived I thought for certain that there was a group of Indians sending smile signals with all the smoke that was polluting the air from all the employee smokers. Well again I gave the benefit of the doubt and heading in any way. I get in there and just like on the phone the people seemed clueless! So I sit and wait...and wait...and wait..and wait some more, I could have sworn I sat there so long my skin started wrinkling from aging. I finally got so frustrated with this place that I just got up and left, I swear I think I would have been better off going down to Big Bufords eye Care emporium! I would not recommend this place to anybody! The only reason I gave one star was because I had to just to be able to write a review. So a one out of ten.... negative zero!
