Well in the beginning of planning my wedding customer service was great!! The closer to my wedding day I felt as though I/we my bridal party was not treated with good customer service!! There was a problem come closer as the ladies picked up their dresses and the last fitting for my dress I had to try my own dress on!! Other than that I loved my dress.. just hated some of the experiences that I had to encounter!😶😚

I got my wedding dress altered here. When I came to pick it up, the skirt was not hemmed. I was very upset and tried to get help with the issue and the young woman who was in charge at the time had no answers. She was very rude to me which was not helping the situation. So, the owner got there to help and I will say she did help me hem up the dress within a couple hours. The bad thing is I got charged $390 for the “original hem”, a bustle, and my straps tightened. All around awful service for a business that is held to a lot of responsibility. I highly do not recommend this place unless you are looking for more stress and a hurt bank account.Update: the dress was still to long 😐

My sister purchased her wedding dress here and they told her she had till the month which in November before her wedding to pay the dress off; however the person that told her that no longer works there and they proceeded to take her dress of layaway and put it back on the rack to be resold even though she had already paid over half the dress because the dress wasnt paid in their timely manner. They were rude and hateful and hung up on her as she was trying to figure out why they was going against what she had been told and she didnt even get to talk to their manager. I would suggest going elsewhere with your time and money.

Wonderful staff. Kind and encouraging. We were here for 2 hours trying on tons of gowns for homecoming. It was a terrific first experience for my daughter in trying on formal wear. They had a great sale and she ended up getting two formal dresses for the cost of one! Highly recommended and worth the 1 1/2 hour drive from Panama City FL.

Putting this at one star, because quite frankly I would probably get better deals on dresses at the dollar tree, and it would totally look better, price is overrated. Staff is terrible, just being honest...I get better service at a restaurant with AI robots as servers, but they don’t have those yet, so I guess you catch my drift. Anyways please don’t shop here😮, it would be in your best interest and mine just so I don’t have to pray for any of y’all.

I absolutely love this shop. I was helped by adora and she is the sweetest little girl I’ve ever met. She helped me for hours trying to pick out the perfect gown for prom. Also, I’m a plus size girl so it can be aggravating trying to find the right gown for me and my figure but she made me feel absolutely beautiful. I felt at home at this wonderful shop. I definitely recommend this shop. Way better than any other bridal shop in Dothan.

DO NOT shop here! If I could give no stars I would. Bery misleading, over priced dresses, and pressuring sales tactics. Trying to find the perfect prom dress, was pressured into putting 75 dollars down for layaway on a dress, that it would be gone if we left and no holds. We were told that even if we changed our minds on the dress we could still use the 75 dollars in store. Called and told them we found another dress and wanted to use the 75 dollars to get shoes and jewelry (still using it in the store) and was told a manager would call us back and they never returned my call. Went back to store in person, to buy shoes and jewelry with my $75 and was told No you cant use it for anything other than another dress. Told them we didnt need a dress we already had one but would like to buy shoes with it. Still No.....basically lost our money and store employees and manager dont care about their customers or your hard earned money. Buy somewhere else!! Found the same dresses at other stores for half the price. Layaway down payment is not specified on receipt that it can not be used towards other items in the store and was not told this at the time. Takes advantage of customers....will NOT be back and do NOT recommend anyone to go to this store....In responce to the owners response to this- the entire time we shopped we were told by one of the girls ( who wasnt helping. We didnt recieve any help for us specifically instead she was helping A DIFFRENT girl and talking to us inbetween getting the other girl dresses) that if we didnt get it, it would be gone. Not only that but i did NOT leave the store mad, i was stresses out due to the feeling of having to make a decision on the spot or it would not have been mine ( thankfully its not) also one more thing to add is that in the store my mother mentioned using the money we put down for shoes and jewlery to which your staff said the prices of the shoes and jewlery instead of correcting us if it was against policy it would have also been written and obviously stated that the store credit is only allowed to be used twords gowns. Also about the little comment concerning the 21 days later during your busiest time ( which your store was empty when we came in ) we actually called you guys- as soon as we found the better dress. You guys never returned our phone call :) and the pressure tactics we were refering to- i PERSONALLY felt pressured when talking to my mother about getting a dress elsewhere and alora said theres no point in going anywhere else if you like this dress. If you leave this dress will be gone and YOU wont have it. This made me and my mom both feel extremely pressured to put the dress on lay away.

I went in because of the $10 sale sign they had in the window but NOTHING I saw was $10. Otherwise, they had some good items and the staff was helpful.

I have had many great experiences with the BB. Some of the best were when I was looking for my wedding and bridesmaid dresses. The ladies there are very helpful and knowledgeable. Madison was my “go to” girl for all of my questions. I would give them 10 stars but I can only do 5.

I have been a lot of places but nowhere compares to this one! Such a fun and helpful bunch of ladies. I was looking for an unusual wedding dress and found just the perfect one! Saw lots of gorgeous dresses, making it hard to chose, but found just what I wanted. I know I will be back for that shimmery gold sequined number very soon! Best selection of dresses in town. I love how its organized by size so you dont have to wander around for hours finding a dress. They have a clearance room as well that is hard to come by. I always sent my two sons to the Blushing Bride whenever they needed tuxedos throughout high school and college. My oldest son recently started planning his wedding and decided to use the Blushing Bride for the tuxedos. After looking at several shops, the bride found the perfect wedding gown there, as well as the bridesmaids dresses. The staff was very helpful throughout the process, and they made it fun and comfortable. It was so nice to be able to do it all in the same shop!

Took my daughters pageant dress there for alterations. The dress looks terrible nothing like it did when it was pinned at her fitting. The hem is uneven and so are the straps. There is missing beading that was intact before leaving the dress to be altered. I will never go back to this shop for anything. Terrible, rude and unprofessional.

Love these ladies!!!! My sister and sister in law both bought their prom dresses and wedding gowns from here. This place is small but the people make it! I found a dress I loved at a different shop in Dothan, blushing bride got it for less and with extra fabric and lace I needed for alterations. They also found my sister in laws wedding gown for less as well when she previously found it at another shop. These ladies are miracle workers! Not to mention they are so sweet! I am very self conscious and they made me feel right at home! They will forever get my business.

Our whole family loves Blushing Bride! From prom tuxes to wedding attire, the gals at Blushing Bride make you feel beautiful!! They always have the most up-to-date fashions (my son was one of the best dressed ever in his designer tux at his prom!). Ive even bought a fab dress to wear for Halloween once from their marked down section!! Leisha will make you feel as though you are the only one in her life the whole time you are there!

I went today 5/27/13 about 15 minutes to closing time. They stayed open until I found my dress. I found a dress that was originally 1300 for only 450. With slight alterations needed at that. Great fit for a great dress. The down side was I didnt have help with the lacing of the dress until I was in the main area of the shop, where the only person at the shop was able to lace me up. She was helpful and nice but we got to pull the dresses and try on many types with out the pressure to buy then. They have a layaway program but you have to put down 100.00 for it.Only complaint would be, I wish I had help with putting on the dresses, and lacing them, instead of having my sister help me.

To be honest, I dont have any experience with other bridal shops because it would never cross my mind to go anywhere other than Blushing Bride for my formal wear needs. I can always count on BB to find exactly what I need by just giving them the details of my wants and letting them do the hard part of finding the perfect outfit. The girls are always friendly and dont hound me as Im shopping (a huge pet peeve of mine with stores) so that Im free to browse at my own pace. I find their prices to be fair and never out of line with my expectations, so why shop anywhere else.

I found the perfect dress to wear to a Mardi Gras Ball at The Blushing Bride. The staff and owner were very helpful and friendly. I bought the dress the weekend before the event and they were able to have the alterations complete in time for the event. Great experience!

If you are a tiny framed person then maby you could have some luck here. But as for me i am more of a plus size 18-20, i walked in and ask for help and the employee was very rude she told me i would never fit into a size 18 dress and suggested a 24 and i just loved a Size 18 dress however her nast attitude was enough to turn me away so i went to another formal dress shop and walked out in an amazing size 18 dress and it was even kinda big on me.
