Picked up this jewel there & ordered 4 others. The staff was very helpful.

I love this place, very clean and inviting. You can always find something here you cant find anywhere else. Staff is always very helpful, and follow all safety recommendations which is a major reason I feel good bringing my child with me when I shop during non peak times). Great selection of science and stem for kids, homeschooling materials & if they dont have it they will order it. There is ALWAYS something on sale, the clearance section is amazing and the range of toys is unmatchable. Everything here from duplo, to learning resources, geo safari, organization tools, crafts, anything you need to pull you through the pandemic in regards to teaching your child hands on. Oh and some books on meditation to save your own sanity in the process !

Very nice Barnes and Noble location. They have moved stuff around since the last time Ive been there, and I had to ask where Science Fiction and Fantasy had been moved to. A nice young lady helped me, and I was pleasantly surprised that they still had a large selection of Science Fiction and Fantasy to choose from. Kudos.

Havent been in a real bookstore in ages, but it was just as good as it ever was... plus, nothing like having Starbucks at your fingertips as well. Cant wait to return!

My family and I love coming to any Barnes and Noble but this one doesnt have sitting for the kids, Im thinking because of covid but in the Cafe area u can sit.

Larger selection of fiction than anything else. There is a starbucks inside which is really good but they need more non fiction and reference books.

Its a bookstore with its own coffee shop which automatically makes it awesome! However the staff was all around friendly and helpful!

This is for the cafe, not the B&N book store. I’m not a person to write reviews but I felt like something should be said. I’ve been going to this cafe since 2017. There are a couple older baristas who are rude, judgmental, and speak openly about their harsh opinions. It is unprofessional to be insulted about a drink order and left me feeling bullied. I have let it slide for a while, trying to excuse it as joking or letting off steam, but their comments crossed a line to the point where I won’t be returning as a regular. You’d be better off at the Target Starbucks a few doors down.

The staff was helpful & informed. Took me directly to the book I was looking for.

I go in for movies all the time. They have great prices especially for older movies. The staff is dedicated to helping their customers. One trip we had someone make balloon animals for the kids, and they were offered some sample chocolates. We were just book shopping. I love this place.

This store is such a sweet little book store with a Starbucks inside. You can buy your books at the Starbucks counter too which is a plus! The employees are always super nice, helpful, and fun to chat with! I enjoy coming by and looking around. Its always so clean and quiet, a perfect Barnes & Noble. Definitely one of my favorites that Ive been to.

Apparently mask wearing is completely optional at this store.

If you dont shop at Barnes & Noble you dont know what your missing. Love that store. Always some new magazines Ive got to have. Very wide selection. Believe me there is something there for you.

Took my wife to have a dessert and coffee. It was quiet and relaxing. We have enjoyed getting a dessert and something to drink when we lived out of state. They have a Starbucks in their store. Was a great afternoon with my sweetheart.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. They don’t have a lot of places to sit and look books over. They had a nice area in the middle of the store at one point. I think they moved things around to accommodate space for board games and more shelving due to the holiday season. Definitely our favorite book store in the area. Also seems like anytime you purchase something you get a coupon for buy a cookie get one free.

Barnes and Noble is one of my favorite places to go. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming. The staff at the Dothan location are very kind and ready to help you find the book you are looking for. If they do not have it in the store they will order it for you and have it delivered there for free. The childrens section is amazing! They carry something for both of my children and have a train table that my youngest loves to visit each time we go to the store. They also have a good selection of role playing game books for my husband. Overall, B&N is one of my familys favorite shops.

Never been in this place before but I needed a book & went in & was helped by Anissa & she got my book for me but she also showed me other places other books I wanted may be. She walked with me me & was in no hurry so I felt I was the most important person to her. We had a great conversation. This lady is the reason I will go back again & again.

Im used to a larger Barnes and Noble but this one is nice. It really was nice to go into a bookstore, I never do that anymore. This is a great place to relax and shop, have a coffee. Oh it was transcendent, I want to go back now as Im writing this. The 4 stars is only due to them not having what I was looking for. A specific kind of calendar, they had lots to choose from but not the one I wanted.

Very clean, with nice decor. Friendly service from cashiers that are knowledgeable. Store is in the middle of a busy shopping center so theres a lot of traffic. Either way, very good store to go to and study, shop or eat.

Love this store! It has a large area for sitting in the coffee shop plus a broad selection of titles for adults & kids. The employees are so helpful and friendly here, always great you with a smile and eager to help you in any way they can, or find some one who can if they are not able to. They have a wide selection of DVDs and records, as well as puzzles and games. Definitely a place for the whole family to come and leave with something they love!

I went to buy my Christmas Teas. When I got there they were on sale and their delicious cookies were buy one get one. Also love their coffee. Had a great visit!

We went here after Hurricane Michael came through, as it was one of the few places open and with power. We were able to charge our mobile devices in a cool, comfortable environment. Also enjoyed some great coffee!

Always a treat to come here whether its finding a new book to read, board games to play, or stopping for a cup of coffee or tea. The employees are extremely pleasant and polite. Ive never found myself in a situation where I was frustrated at the response of an employee here.If youre looking for a place to study, pass time, meet new people, or buy some books. The Dothan pavilion is a hard place to pass up.

Very clean, very sanitized. I appreciate the fact they have a drop off point for books to be sanitized after they have been tired around through the store. They require masks, which is a plus in my book.

I love book stores, and this is one of my favorites. The customer service is excellent. The bathrooms are clean. It is always an enjoyable place to go and spend way too much money. I always leave with a stack of books. 😊

Enjoyed my visit and shopping experience at Barnes and Nobles in Dothan, AL. There is just something about being to browse through the shelves, select and sit for a moment and read a short passage or so. The blending aroma of the books, the coffees, latte and pastries provide a feel good moment. Great job B&N staff!

I was there to get coffee. I also looked for a Linux magazine. I didnt find it. It is handicap accessible. I like this store. Service is good. They usually have what I am looking for.

Book store is cool and has a great variety. The Starbucks is fake. No Starbucks ever ask you if you want your macchiato layered or stirred. They just make it the way Starbucks makes it.

I had to return visit to star as my brand new NOOK was constantly turning off the scree every3-5minutes..they discovered that the problem was not the NOOK but the covers for the NOOK was not working properly therefore the cover eas not made correctly for theactual Book..so they are sending backthe bad covers & get new correctly made the NOOK Covers.They refund me the coat of the cover with a gift card for the gift of the covertelling me to call next week to check on status of new correctly made covers for the NOOK. So I will call to see when those new covers are in &then take my NOOK back to them to make sure new covers work correctly& not causing light to keep going off.Time will tell.

Great selection of merchandise!! But buyer beware with their buy one get one half off~ manager said it was the way the register rings the merchandise that they have no control on which item gets the half off..... Randomly gave me half off a $2.99 writing pen versus the $14.95 item that was advertised. I wouldve needed to check out three times to get my items at the advertised price. She said people check out like that ALL the time!! How did I not know this:(

If you’re wanting a drink I would suggest purchasing one at a gas station before you go into this Barnes & Noble or finding a different Barnes and Noble altogetherYou will At least get a whole drink at a gas station and more than likely get treated betterAfter This Barnes & Noble café getting a simple drink order wrong I was told that even by paying extra I could Not get the same drink I’ve been ordering for years from Starbucks and from other Barnes and Noble cafésI was informed very rudely by a manager that “We are not Starbucks”!Even after paying extra apparently to fill the drink all the way up my glass quite literally was still not full.I do strongly suggest to remove the Starbucks name from this Barnes & Noble if it seems to infuriate these Barnes & Noble employees that much.

Place was good, one thing they should consider, get customers on their preferred pricing without annual fee. There are other alternatives, which cost less and delivery at home. The associate was helpful,made good recommendations, and was very pleasant. I dont agree with their promotion of the most divisive barrack obama which caused hate in this country and drove anti american globalism

I was greeted and asked if I needed assistance upon entering the store. The associate was knowledgeable and courteous and assisted me with the items I needed.
