Sales guy encouraged my spouse to sign for me while I was out of town. Had to come back in to redo every bit of paperwork. That paperwork was incomplete and incorrect, so we had to wait even longer to get it taken care of. It took almost a week to get floormats for our brand new car.Dont use TrueCar, they charge the dealership $300 for the sales lead which gets passed on to the customer, even after the price is negotiated and agreed to. Ask me how I know.I dont regret the purchase, but I certainly regret the choice of dealership.

Every time I call to schedule maintenance on my vehicle or get something fixed it’s always a mess. I have multiple warranties and packages but someone always tries to tell me that I don’t. Clearly I know what I have considering I have the paperwork to it all. So if I have the paperwork someone there should too along with it on the computer system. Maybe one day when I call they will get it figured out and it won’t be such a mess.

Came in to look at a few cars even though it was pouring rain with my parents. Emily was near the door to greet us even with the terrible weather. She let me try out a 2021 Tucson and I fell in love. There’s plenty of room for my family and my sister’s new son! She was incredibly nice and went out of her way for my family with this usually stressful process. She was very professional and friendly. Emily made sure that we were taken care of with any questions that we might’ve had or any concerns. Kevin was also very professional and kind when taking care of us. He explained everything in depth and went over everything. Thank you guys! Super frustrated with how I was treated. The only reason Im offering two stars is the first sales man I worked with, Jason, was friendly and helpful. I appreciated the way he handled our interaction.Jason passed us along to a man named Donnie because we were looking for a used pickup truck, and apparently Donnie is the truck specialist. He showed me a couple of vehicles, did not let me drive them, failed to explain why we couldnt drive the vehicles, and then tried to force a sale of a new Hyundai (that had 4,800 miles on it). The sticker price was around $31,000, but he wanted us to pay over $37,000 BEFORE the tax, title and license. He refused to pull the paperwork on the truck we were looking to purchase and instead tried to negotiate more on the vehicle we had NO interest in. We told him we were looking to lower our payments from $600 a month and he came back with a $1,000 a month payment (again, on the vehicle we didnt even want). Very dissatisfied with everything Donnie did. He had no interest in speaking with me (about a car that would be purchased in my name), but instead kept trying to do business with my fiancé. He ignored EVERYTHING I told him I needed and then spoke to me like I was stupid when I insisted that he wasnt addressing my needs.TLDR: Ask for Jason. Avoid Donnie.

I had a total of 3 recalls I was alerted on I needed to handle. I then contacted Hyundai in Dothan Alabama online to schedule my appointment. Brought car in on September 15th at 10:30 am to be handled. I had to call the store at 4:50 to see if it was done to have someone bring me to pick it up. Once I got home I looked at the paperwok. It only stated one recall was fixed, stop lamp and maintenance of car was done. Nowhere does it state what maintenance was done. Yet first service listed is worded same as one of the recalls. How do I know the other two recalls were actually done? Why is one service listed exactly as one of the recalls but nowhere in similarity of other two? Nothing listed on receipt done similar to other recalls. Yet in recall system the other two recalls no longer come up in system. Yet paperwork doesnt state any wording as to other two similar recalls. Therefore if I go to sell it I dont have paperwork stating any work being done even anywhere close to other recalls.

I doubt this review gets posted but this is how I feel over all about Hyundai. For starters (not that important but still) I recommend someone to them and they also purchased a car 3days after our purchase. We never received the reference a friend cash yet they got another customer. What happened next. I had only had my car 15 months when the motor had to be replaced. Thankfully it was under warranty. However the reason my car went to their service department to begin with is because it completely shut off going down the road. My husband put it in park and restarted the engine. Yet the air conditioning had stopped working. Long story short the car went to the shop they found trouble with the motor and replaced it yet my air conditioning was not under warranty nor fixed when it came from the shop with over 1200.00 worth of repair bill waiting for me to pay to fix it. I live in the south it gets hot. Here I am with no A/C but a new motor. Saved up to repair the a/C and by this time I need breaks as well. Mind you I have had this car less then a year and a half and still have to make payments on it. Could I trade it in... why yes for 125.00 more a month in car payment. So there is this. I saved up enough money to fix the needed repairs. I did receive a 10% discount on my total bill. I suppose that helped. Would I recommend Hyundai for any other relative or friend. I highly doubt it. I am very much disappointed in my experiences as a whole.

Three weeks ago I decided to stop in at Hyundai of Dothan. I had never personally done business with them but I met Mason Johnson and he showed me an SUV that was just what I was looking for. For about three weeks he called me every time they got a Palisade on the lot. He worked with me to get one that worked with my budget as well as my likes and dislikes. Nice experience, smooth and wife (owner) very pleased.Treated very well. Mpg is what is on the sticker - depending on how heavy ones foot is. Have to get the feel of the transmission. If you feel it shift - ease off a bit and let the transmission do its job. I never feel it shift (30mpg/city and my wife always feels it shift (26?mpg/city) - learning curve.I have seen 37 and 39 mpg on hwy depending on the gas. It seems to get better mpg from lowest grade Marathon and Shell.

Prior to leaving I asked for a copy of my paperwork from my previous visit and the copy of the paperwork from my current service (5/29). Mind you, the receptionist had the paperwork in her hand. However, she verified my email and stated she would email them over to me. I have yet to receive the paperwork. Yet, I have received other emails from dealership inquiring about my recent visit since 5/29/20. Where i do business, I expect full transparency. The visit back to the dealership on Friday was not one of my doing, it was out of an error that occurred on the service that was rendered on Wednesday that caused me to have to bring my car in.

My experience was horrible! It has been 3 weeks and I still have not received the paperwork needed to purchase a tag. My car was never detailed and after 3 days of buying it the heater took a long time to warm up. That resulted it being placed in their shop for 5 days. It should have been detailed then but no they called me to pick it up and stated I could bring it back at any time to be detailed. Also, I only received 1 key and my back seat has a spot that looks like it does not have any insulation (cushion) and they stated they would have to see what the sales manager said about it getting repaired. No one never reached out to me regarding the matter of the back seat nor the key. My cousin bought a vehicle @ Hyundai in Enterprise and was able to get her tag the same day. I was overcharged for this vehicle its listed on my paperwork and was also charged for the lifetime warranty which I was never informed( I ) the customer would have to pay for, my understandings was that the dealership provided the lifetime warranty. Go to Enterprise I would not refer this dealership to my worst enemy.

Dont believe their prices on Facebook Marketplace!!!!! Drove from Enterprise to look at a car just to find out they REALLY wanted $5k more!!! The excuse was they HAD to just put a price on there. Heres a tip.......DONT PUT A PRICE DOWN UNLESS ITS AN ACCURATE PRICE!!!!! After we left the lot the Marketplace price was immediately changed. Will be contacting the BBB about this shady business.

We purchased a 2019 Hyundai Elantra for our daughter from Parks Hyundai in Gainesville (PHG) in May 2019. In October 2019 her car was taken in to PHG for a prepaid maintenance service. Her oil was changed and everything was checked over and given a clean bill of health. On January 2, 2020 while traveling home from Pensacola (Christmas break) back to Gainesville (college), her cars check oil warning light came on, then her check battery light turned on, and then her check engine light turned on. All of these lights turned on in rapid succession within a 10-minute time frame. After the Check Engine Light came on, the car just stalled out and quit in the middle of the interstate (I-10)--leaving my daughter and I vulnerable to a potentially fatal disaster/accident. Fortunately, we were able to contact Hyundai Roadside assistance and they towed us to the nearest Hyundai dealership which was Hyundai of Dothan. We rolled in around 5pm and they were closing up their service department, but were kind enough to take a look at the car even though most of their technicians were getting ready to go home. They showed us that the oil drain plug was missing and because of this, all of the oil had leaked out along the highway resulting in the engine locking up. They advised us to call Parks Hyundai in Gainesville the next morning.We called PHG and spoke with Ken Irvin (service mgr) and John Lanza (gen mgr) several different times and they refused to take responsibility for the loosened drain plug & refused to even work with us to get the problem fixed, citing vandalism. We contacted Corporate Hyundai who eventually denied our claim for repairs because they stated the issue was not due to a manufacturers defect so was not covered by our NEW car warranty. Basically, no one from Hyundai was willing to help us. Except for Mike Evans, the service manager at Hyundai of Dothan. After several weeks of us going back and forth with Hyundai Corporate and Parks Hyundai of Gainesville, he was the only one who was willing to help and went above and beyond in order to make things right for us. I also want to add that while we were waiting for my husband to pick us up from Dothan the night that our car broke down, the staff at Hyundai of Dothan were extremely kind & sympathetic--after hearing our story, one of the employees went and bought us dinner!We cant say enough good things about Mike Evans and his service staff. They were all very helpful and once we were able to get the repairs covered by our auto insurance, Mr. Evans helped us locate a new engine for the car and one of his technicians (Pasha) worked on it over the weekend to have it ready for us. Mr. Evans and Hyundai of Dothan helped restore our faith in humanity. They were a beacon of integrity and kindness in the midst of a very dark & disappointing experience with the Hyundai Brand. After this experience, we would be hard pressed to recommend purchasing a car from Hyundai--and definitely not from Parks Hyundai in Gainesville. Our overall rating of Hyundai is dismal to say the least. No representative from Hyundai was willing to help us except for Mike Evans of Hyundai of Dothan. We highly recommend Mike Evans and his service department of Hyundai of Dothan. Great service and very Honest & respectful.
