The young man who helped me pick out gym shoes today was super great and knowledgeable! However I was greatly bothered by how Tanya (older lady with curly blonde hair) treated the other employees. When an employee came to ask her a question she was incredibly condescending to him and very rude. I was appalled that a manager would speak to an employee that way. How do you expect your employees to learn when they aren’t even able to ask their superiors a simple question? The simple question he asked was “what shoe size usually goes on display?” And she responded “you don’t even know?” And then proceeded to continue to belittle him. I felt so sorry for him! No one should have to work with somebody like that!

You have to kind of go in here not really looking for something specific but be open to finding a bargain on some items. When you score like that, its good.

A friend of mine and I walked into the big 5 in dinuba and were sent back out to put mask on witch was fine but when we went back in with our masks on and a lady at the front register went off saying we were being disrespectful and that she was going to call our parents? we were going to purchase a $400 kayak but we didnt feel like dealing with that crazy. I dont who she is but just beware they have a crazy lady working for them

Great options when you dont have time to drive to Visalia or Fresno. Selection and service is good. Prices are typical and they do offer military discount. Parking is ample area is not the best so lock your vehicle.

I had to return 2 pairs of shoes and the employees were very helpful and instead of 2 pair of shoes I returned I walked out with 3 new pairs. Very happy customer

I use these stores all the time for kids and my activities. My one issue: the restrictions on their coupons. Its like Macys. Every brand is not part of the discount. Retailers need to work better with manufacturers and streamline their deals to the customer.

The cashier lady do better at customer service and the old man manager shouldnt walk away when the line is that backed up quality merchandise though not quality customer service

Cant say anything too bad or good about this place. Ok to good prices on rifles. Always have ammo in stock because most of the time its over priced. But when you find a deal, its usually hard to beat. Only one bad experience with a transfer in visalia. Overall its a good place to browse. Cool staff usually.

Good place for cheap shoes

I went to the store on February 3, 2020 around 6pm, walked in out of 3 employees who were there not one said welcome, than I started looking around, one of the employees walks by me and doesnt bother to ask if I need help finding something but he did asked someone else Aman ifhe needed help.

Purchased a few firearms they take forever to process the paperwork at least 2 hours, after my background was clear I was called that my firearm was ready I went to pick it up and the manager that was there did not have the training or the ability or access to process the pick up, I returned few days later and my time lapsed to pick up, the manager and customer service where not helpful, I spent over $1400.00 in the store they would not help with the 25. Reprocessing fee, no accountability on their end. Terrible place to purchase firearms.

When me and my family arrived there was two employees just talking to themselves and not one of them greet us. They looked at us like what are we doing in the I store,like if we dont have money this was Friday around 2:30-3:00pm. We decided to take a drive to Hanford s big 5 and all of their employees were very greetfuĺl and polite. Please talk to your employees to be greetfuĺl and polite and more customers will be happy to shop there.Thank you!

Ive been in the store 4 times in a month and Ive been helped by the same person at the register and every time this employee is rude seems like she doesnt want to be there doest acknowledge you, at first I was hey we all have bad days but after my last purchase I told my husband, Ill just go somewhere else because I dont think I need to put up with her, I hate to take my money somewhere else, Im all for local shopping but the store needs to better there customer service with this employee, I hope it will get better soon,

They had no specials for the backpack i wanted the backpacks that were on sale were addidas the one i liked was addidas but only because it was a new addidas it was not on sale

Im not sure how big 5 is still in business. The prices are high, and the inventory is low to mid quality on most merchandise. There are boxes regularly scattered throughout and presentation seems to be a low priority.
