Asked them to check my charging port on my laptop because it was not charging. Instead they updated my drivers on it without me telling them to do so and charged me for it. Do not recommend to anyone. I could have done that myself in less than 5 mins!

The staff of Misfits Electronics informed me of what was wrong with my computer within 2 business days instead of 5 days as they initially told me due to being backed up with other repairs ahead of me. Their standard for repair is, If it costs more than half the amount you paid for it, it isnt worth repairing. They gave me an excellent quote, and also excellent service. I had my computer back within 4 days of turning it in to be worked on. If you need anything electronic to be repaired, this is the place to go, hands down.

Never get any response by phone, so have to go there. After 2 months of saying they were trying to fix it and my hard drive was good, hard drive not located. 2 weeks ago trying to sell me computer and could just put in my hard drive. Now, hard drive is no good and was thrown away! So they put it together and stuck in a hard drive, no idea if hard drive is even good. This was second time they cant find hard drive, but before they looked at directory to determine it was mine. Very new SS drive and all my data gone! I feel they are not careful as he even said first time hard drive was lost, should be labeled. I think they dont really know what happened to my hard drive!

Took IPhone 7 screen to get replaced due to screen being cracked. Called and they were very friendly and willing to fix it on the same day. After returning home the phone screen wasn’t responsive to half the taps that were pressed making it nearly impossible to type or use the phone normally. Called back the next business day stating the problems and that maybe the screen that was placed on was faulty perhaps. They said to bring it in because there may be a loose connector. Phone was brought in and then proceeded to up charge for a new battery being the fault of the screen not being responsive. I asked “let’s say the battery gets replaced but the screen still doesn’t work, what else could be done to fix this?” The man on the phone then proceeded to to lecture me saying that I wouldn’t ask a mechanic about how an alternator works if I had voltage issues on my car, to which I responded “well this isn’t something I’m very knowledgeable in so I’m asking you since you are the professional. I don’t mean to offend, I’m simply asking if there’s possibly something else at fault.” Overall, I would never recommend going there, they’re entirely unprofessional and can’t seem to take genuine questions and concerns of their customers that have already paid money to fix a mistake that was made by them. Never come here if you want genuine good work done, and I sincerely hope that this small business can figure out how to do a little bit of customer care when they’ve selected you out of many to do business with.

These people are very unprofessional and will rip you off. My aunt took several phones in there and 2 tablets one of those was mine it was one of my back phones and an expensive phone at that. It was an LG Stylo 5 nothing was wrong with this phone it had no scratches no dings nothing even the tags on the back of the phone looked brand new. Anyways she took all of these devices in there because she had been hacked on everyone of them including my LG Stylo 5 that used the internet on. They told her they normally charge $45 per device but since she had so many they would only charge her $25 a piece well come to find out the regular charge is $25 per device then they sold us an IPhone for $155 which in the beginning they told her it was $245. Well got it home to find that it would not charge and it kept rebooting itself. My expensive LG Stylo 5 they kept and did not give it back to us they said that we did not bring it in there but we did. Out of all the phones that she took in there that was the only one that was of any value. So please if anyone bought a rose gold LG Stylo 5 from these people please please make a response to this review I have the box still so I can show you the serial numbers to it it also had a pink and white case on it. They also talk bad about their customers when they are in desperate need of help to other customers like it is funny when it is not.

So, I had a gaming computer built here about a month ago, and I have to say Aaron did an amazing job. I brought them a very out dated machine and the idea that I wanted to upgrade a few things, but after a few conversations with the guys over at Misfits I decided to do a completely new build because the parts I had were so old. Any way these guys have awesome communication and dont do anything you dont ask them to, while giving excellent advice on how to proceed with your electronics. Don.t rush them they do amazing work. 10/10 highly recommended

Very disappointed. I bought my dad a refurbished iPhone SE (1st Generation) for his birthday. He discovered it had a bad earpiece and went to Misfits today for replacement. Here is what he told me. The first earpiece replacement they tried worked but the front camera is part of this assembly and did not work- the tech asked my dad “which can you do without “ How unprofessional! obviously my dad said neither.When they found an earpiece/camera unit that was working they couldn’t get his phone back together properly. They could not get it put back together with all parts, leaving off a heat shield and worst of all after several failed attempts to get his phone put back together his screen stopped working! This was working fine when he went in! They then offered him a used screen but said all they had was white and asked him if it was ok. My dad replied “it sounds like I’m getting a white iPhone screen on a black iPhone, or no phone at all so I guess it will have to do. He said when he left they superglued the corner of this used screen to hold it down and he came home with a Frankenstein for a phone that I paid good money for as his birthday gift. Very unprofessional. Very disappointed and dissatisfied with the work they did.

Stopped by thinking I needed a new charging port on my iPhone. They immediately knew there was excessive lint in the port. Fixed in a couple minutes and phone is charging like new. NO CHARGE. Now thats great customer service.

Paid good money to have my screen replaced on my iPhone 7+. At first, everything seemed fine. The phone looked completely new again. After a short time (2 weeks) I noticed the proximity sensor wasn’t actually working on the phone. When he put it back together, it wasn’t positioned correctly and now I have to hold my phone away from my face when I talk or else it’ll end the call or my cheek will bump speaker phone. I was able to somewhat cope with that but NOW... there is a different problem. Just a few short days after I discovered an issue with the proximity sensor, my touch screen was acting up BIG TIME. I couldn’t type a simple sentence without my keyboard going crazy, applications would start jumping on my screen, and randomly opening. I took my otter box off and looked at the side of my phone where the top part of the phone connects to the bottom portion. He used GLUE to keep my phone together. It didn’t look like industrial grade or even gorilla glue. It looked like Elmer’s white school glue... anyways.. the phone was coming back apart. So if you’re asking for recommendations on going here or not? I wouldn’t suggest it. Would’ve been a 1-star review, but they were seemingly cool and patient so I’ll throw 2 for courtesy sake..

It did take a little time to get my PS4 looked at. But the people were really great and the service was awesome. Four stars only because of slower time for repairs.

Ive always been pleased with their work. They are honest and a little gabby, but hey. Several years ago I bought one of their reconditioned computers. That was a workhorse for me through two years of undergrad and two years of grad school.

I went in with a banged up camera on my Samsung device. They were able to put a new back on it. It made the camera at least work good enough for me until I can upgrade the phone. Reasonably priced too. I recommend them if you have issues with your electronics.

I took a TV that was given to me with no knowledge of what could be wrong with it or the price it would be to fix, but was given an estimate of $150. I gave them $100 up front so I wouldnt spend it in the meantime. It was finished and working within 2 days. When I picked it up, I asked how much more I owed them and he says nothin, youre goodAwesome customer service and super nice guys running this business.

I strongly do NOT recommend this place for your TV repair!!!! I have took a total of 3 TVs to him. The first tv I took there worked well for the first 2 weeks. Then, I had the same problem after I done spent $173.00. I took it back there and he said he could not fix it (the same problem I took it there the first time). He asked if he could have it or buy it for the parts. I said you can have it I have no use for a TV that does not work... So, about 2 years after. I had inherited a 65” Sharp flatscreen. Eventually, it tore up of course so I took it to him and he stated he could not fix it due to the screen was broke and there is no way possible to get a screen delivered cause it was fragile and could not guarantee safe shipping. So, I bought his excuse. He asked if he could have it for parts and I said of course if it is no good. 2 weeks later my other hiscense 55” tears up. So I took it to him and he stated it was the screen as well. How is that possible? Both TVs screen is out? As I’m looking around at the store waiting on him to get done talking to another client, I notice my 65” sharp for sale for $425.00. I know it was mine because the back of the tv was missing a panel. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM FOR ANY TV REPAIRS!!! Denton’s is the place to go!!!! He is a crook!!!

This really is a great place for your electronic repair needs. They have even told me when something wasnt worth repairing and would be cheaper to purchase a new one, and not even something they sold either). I had a phine that II couldnt get to charge any more Verizon told me it was a lost cause due to the charging port and it didnt have a replaceable battery nor would it charge with a wireless charger. Devistated at the thought of losing tons of pictures, I came here and these wonderful guys removed the cover and proved to me that it did indeed have a battery with wireless charging capability! I bought a wireless charger from them since they saved my pictures! This is without a doubt the best and most honest place Ive been to and I will continue to give them my business and refer others there!YOU DESERVE WAY MORE THAN 5 STARS!

Didn’t really get the job done and poor customer service. While i was discussing an on goingIssue concerning my computer with one of the repair guys, the Owner/Manager came out and interrupted our conversation complaining and venting, with curse words, about a problem he was having with someone else. It was totally none of my concern and i didnt care to know. i was also in a hurry and had to get somewhere so i had to wait for him to stop complaining so I could finish discussing my problem with the repair man. It was really tacky and rude. To be quite honest he was just immature and he’s probably about as old as my dad. IllNever use them again.

I have been there a few times and they have always been really good and honest! For the other person about removing misc from their name, #1 your review barely makes sense, #2 misc isnt in their name, it is misfits. Also, they didnt give you a quote because it would be too expensive to fix your old electronics, time for an upgrade. Btw, Ive made jokes and they barely laugh and Im a funny person! They have educated me about my new phones in the past for free, they have replaced screens and charging ports for our phones, never had issues! They have also been honest to tell me when things werent worth the cost of fixing them. Im glad they are here in our town to help us out!
