Derek and Josh are incredibly knowledgeable and genuinely helpful. I should have consulted them first, since they understand all of what really works and what is right for what I want to do.Every once in a while you find that one place that you can depend on and trust to help you find all the correct pieces and make them work together. I would give them more than 5 stars if that were possible.

I consulted Derek at Breakwater Marine after becoming thoroughly disappointed and disenchanted with a local Boat repair facility. From the first moment Derek looked at my boat and quickly diagnosed what the previous mechanic had mis-wired I immediately had my confidence restored. Angel was awesome. He kept in touch with me by phone updating me on the installation process. It was obvious in speaking with Angel that he truly understands electronics and how they are to be properly installed. I am now in a fully functional boat with GPS and sonar that so exceed my previous units in looks and performance. Angels installation was perfect and very professional. Derek was a great help. Needed hard to find parts for a Garmin 7610 MFD. Derek dug them up in his parts bin. He closed our conversation with “Glad we could help you out.” Not near as glad as I was because I couldn’t locate one of the parts and the other was back ordered everywhere else. Thanks!!

Poor service response - they never call back despite my numerous calls to check on the status of my issue. My inquires are usually met with, I dont know. Its been weeks and I still have no answer nor status update.

Purchased from and had them install twin garmin 7612s, radar, radio, stereo system, led lights, and used their recommended fiberglass man to update a triple engine center console. 6 months after initial transaction, the only thing that works fully and correctly is the live well. No engine data or fuel follow data. Old electronics that were supposed to be returned were misplaced, undergunnel lights dont work, LED light bar trips circuit breaker after 3 minutes of use, and now Derek will not answer the phone or return calls. Stay away from this place.
